fame and fortune, and scheme for status. They cheat each other, they slaughter each other. They stop at nothing to achieve their individual goals. They are capable of doing terrible things; there's no sin they wouldn't commit. Even between parents and children, husband and wife, between all there is cheating,
exploitation, and there's betrayal. They are devoid of conscience; all they do is for their own personal benefit. You are quite right. None care about their conscience. They are always on guard with each other, and no one knows when they might be cheated by someone. Such a life is exhausting! How could our lives not be painful
in such a corrupt and evil world? It's only logical. If we don't follow God and take the proper path, then we're susceptible to Satan's lies, to living in sin and being harmed to the point
