Pawn Stars: George Bush's Sunglasses | History

hey how's it going hey man I got some ray-bans I want to sell you okay they're from World War two and possibly George Bush womp really well they were my great-grandfather's and he served in Hawaii uh-huh with George Bush they actually broke his back body surfing and really didn't see any action uh yeah I've been in Hawaii body surfing you can do that dove nobody really knows how but my great grandfather ended up with these glasses the really cool glasses think their worst a lot of money I won't take anything less than five grand um it said arresting George Bush was a neat guy back when he was young he was pretty much a badass he was the youngest pilot in the Navy during World War two a guy flew 58 combat missions and he's 90 years old still kickin so uh kudos to him and these are aviator glasses the reason why pilots during World War Two wore these right here's uh pilots were always complaining about the Sun glaring in your face and they came up with the name Ray Ban which was serve a little terms who banned the Rays from coming in your eyes everybody wanted them and eventually they came up with the Wayfarers which everyone knows what ray-ban Wayfarers are especially if you've seen the movie risky business I absolutely love vintage Ray Bans but if George Bush Senior actually wore these in combat that takes it to a whole nother level of cool and I want them and what is that saying probably lieutenants George Bush u.s.n do you have any paperwork or anything I got them through my great-grandfather's estate and that's what I got I might be concerned here right here is all you have is a story it's a good story you know George Bush I'm sure was wearing these glasses when he shot down enemies in you know the Pacific Theater he just might have okay but our problem is we don't have any proof of it I mean George Bush is still alive yeah right of a letter if you had a letter from George Bush saying yes I knew your great-grandfather and I gave him my sunglasses then you have something here and it exponentially makes the value better so if I got the letter I'd give you to grid I'm gonna hold you to it okay have a good one thanks man I'm gonna go get the paperwork but I'm gonna come back and get more than $2,000
