PATH OF EXILE CAMPAIGN WALKTHROUGH - BEGINNER FRIENDLY GUIDE - LIGHTNING CONDUIT WITCH LEVELING

[Music] hi guys asthma here and today I have for you a bit of a different video this is going to be a very beginner friendly guide to leveling a witch through the campaign in Poe we're going to be leveling with a lightning conduit I haven't played lightning conduit myself and I wanted to level a lightning conduit character so I'm going to be doing that in this video and showing you everything that I'm doing while leveling and this is going to be good for anyone who wants to level a strong character right now and learn how to do it uh and from from a fresh start we're going to be going in a Solo self found Calandra League which I don't have any characters in I migrated everything out of that so it's totally fresh start and I'm gonna just go through the entire campaign before we start with the witch which is going to be our character I'm gonna quickly make a Scion which is gonna be the mule basically we're gonna level this character to level two we're just gonna run into the town because I want want to grab the onslaught support gem which is going to help my witch go a little bit faster and it's worth doing this it's going to make my character stronger so I'm just gonna do that as you can see I have other buttons here that I put move command and once you have the skill gem you want to put the move command on the left click here because if you have an actual Auto attack on the left click that will make you just Auto attack randomly monsters as you're running and it will feel like your character is being stuck so I'm gonna put also the spectral throw to always attack without moving this is something you also want to select all the time because otherwise your character will like do a little bit of a step before attacking if it's not in range and so on so you definitely want to make sure to toggle that on basically every skill you're using except for dash because for dash there is like a special interaction where it makes it um it makes it reverse its direction but other than that for every single skill you use you pretty much want to select the attack without moving option we're Killingly hello I put him against the wall here okay I've got a unique randomly I put him against the wall so we can uh get triple hit from the spectral throw I'm just gonna quickly uh drop the onslaught gem I'm gonna also check in the vendors for a few things so here's what I want to check for I want to check for the right sockets I want to check for once I can type for example magic and that will show me if any of the ones is magic so I can quickly check if there are they like plus one to level lightning skill drums or something like that if there is nothing good here I'm gonna go to this vendor I'm gonna check for sockets I don't need any of these I'm going to grab Green Gem because I want a green gem for a recipe later on um we get a triple blue that we can pick up we got triple blue that we can pick up a blue blue green uh let's see are there any boots no there are no boots that would have um uh movement speed on them that's another thing you want to look for early so we're going to pick up the blue blue green this is very very nice and then I could pick up the blue blue but I don't really uh want to grab that I'll probably pick up the uh blue blue blue uh chest piece or are actually not even uh I think I'm gonna identify this and I could wear this for some Mana region and cold rest early on which will be pretty helpful so we can keep that but I I'm Gonna Keep it fair I'm gonna sell this just to not uh skew the leveling process into something a little bit unfair so I'm gonna sell all of these things I'm gonna sell this sell this sell this uh we're just gonna keep the boots here we're gonna keep the alteration and the the gems so that we're gonna drop into the uh into the inventory as you can see the stash is empty this is Fresh Start in ssf I'm gonna drop everything in here and then we're gonna go on our witch and we have the onslaught gem so now we can create the witch and the same leg we're gonna call it uh osmo LC for lightning conduit I'm gonna disable tutorials get the movement commands going uh the reason why I have this movement on like d and T for me is because I want to be able to hold the gem here and I press D or T and I move my character without dropping the gem so as you can see I can just do things I can grab this click grab this click grab this click click and I don't have to do this inventory management uh 100 while being stationary I can actually do this drop this gem while walking uh which speeds you up this is something Advanced but it's very important to learn if you want to be faster always attack without moving so we're gonna do that for the fireball and we're just gonna kill headlock right we pick up everything uh very important things to do before you start or shortly after you start will be to get a loot filter and also uh awakened Poe trade but I'm going to talk about it in a second let me first pick up the gems so we have a wand we have a wand here that we have two ones here that are already magic let me grab everything from the inventory here um so it's very nice if these ones are already magic and they are three linked as well because that will allow me to um very easily craft them later into something that we want so I'm gonna pick up both of these ones um and then we're gonna drop uh this drop this I can put this one and this one in my off hands where I can level spare gems um and then we can also buy the spark gem whereas uh spark storm blast mine spark there we go spark is something that I want as well and then we're gonna sell all of these other items I don't need I'm gonna put the boots in here we're gonna put our ones in here um and let's see if we have any other pieces of gear from here I don't really need anything from this reward because we're going with spark uh we can see if there's any other magic boots for example there is no movement speed boots uh I could potentially pick up some other pieces of gear like for example I can pick up this uh or this let me pick up just uh maybe some evasion just so I don't get uh destroyed by the monsters and we're gonna be using spark uh so I'm gonna put a spark in the boots here with the onslaught and with Arcane search and then we're gonna put it in here we're gonna pick up spell damage and Mana I'm going to link in the description uh path of building link that is going to have uh the passive skill tree so you can follow the exact passive skill tree that I'm gonna I'm going to use and basically copy it okay we're taking some damage here skill there's a little bit of a gang chasing me okay I'm gonna level the answer but I'm gonna right click the Arcane search because I don't want to level Arcane surge because if I do then um it's going to require more money spent to trigger and I don't want that okay I got blue gems here all right attack without moving on this as well all right there is a lot of rows here so we gotta kind of walk into circles pick this up okay level up spark spells gain a lot of damage while they level so anytime if you're playing with spells and you're feeling a little bit underpowered and weak then gaining levels of your spells is gonna be very very strong picking up more spell damage here I don't think it's gonna be to the bottom or is it okay loot filter what I mentioned before loot filter is gonna help you figure out like what is worth picking up what is not worth picking up so I recommend just going to filterblade.xyz and uh from there you can pick up the neverthings semi-strict loot filter and that is going to be totally good for you to start with I'm personally going to be using my own custom uh Caster slash Summoner leveling loot filter which I share with my supporters over on patreon if you're interested in that you can find the link in the description uh but you can just start with the neverthings loot filter and it's going to be totally fine and that's what I would recommend to start with uh so other than loot filter you want to also grab um awakened Poe trade that's another app that is super helpful when you see me randomly log out instantly that is because I'm using a log out macro from the awaken Poe trade it's totally legal to use because it does just one action basically logging out is like typing uh Slash exit and pressing enter which sends one command to the server which is totally legal and within the uh allowed things that you can do in Poe according to GGG so that's totally fine I'm gonna pick cast speed you can pick up cast speed or spell damage there whatever you prefer I prefer getting a little bit more cast speed uh and then we're gonna go to the coast all right uh what do we have here we got these boots probably I'm gonna keep them because it's a three link if I manage to like get some Essences or alchemies extra or something like that I could potentially use them on the boots to try to get movement speed and I'm gonna basically try to go pretty slowly and in terms of like I'm gonna try to explain everything right it's gonna be my priority uh I'm gonna be making sure that everything is being explained that I'm doing so that you can follow and understand okay these blue monsters there are annoying me they're so tanky they got stormweaver on them so that's that means they have a extra lighting res that's why not they're not taking a lot of damage okay let's just nuke this guy pick up everything uh here we pick up an item that's gonna give me a chromatic and I don't know if I need other things but yeah I'm looking out quickly and pressing enter that way I end up back in town without having to use the portal here we're gonna pick up horrible storms and frostblink I'm gonna sell all the stuff I don't need selling unidentified magic items gives you transmutation shards which make transmutation orbs selling identified magical rare items is going to give you alteration shards so for example here I have a rare item because it's going to have more modifiers I'm going to identify it that's going to give me more alteration shards and it's gonna bring me closer to the two alterations that I would like to get at some point soon for uh for the craft that we're gonna be making that I'm going to be showing you sell this as well all right we check if there are any items here like for example magic boots or anything like that no I can grab this uh helmet but I'm not gonna do that now we're gonna grab quick silver we're gonna grab Elemental proliferation from the rewards I can check if there are any Crazy Ones in here um and then I think that's gonna be it we don't need to grab anything else we just put Quicksilver buy it before we get out of town um and we have orb of storms here that I can link with elemental proliferation and I can link that also with the frostblank that means the frost blink is also going to spread the freeze for example if I happen to freeze something it's gonna spread across the monsters that are nearby all right so we got we keep these gems because I'm gonna use them for the recipe iron Rings very important as well uh for the recipe which is gonna come up when we are like level eight that's what I'm gonna uh do it and talk about it so I have this also on always attack without moving so what I'm doing is okay I I see the orange door here so I'm putting down um a portal and we're gonna come back to it later that's just basically like a more efficient way uh to move through here we're leveling up picking up more cast speed uh and I'm dropping all of Storms and then dropping some Sparks Urban storms um deals more damage like it activates and Deals damage around when you're casting a lightning spell with when you are inside of the orb so this is what I'm doing here we got another pair of boots which is a little bit better than the one I'm wearing so I'm probably going to swap into it let me just kill stuff here and then we're just gonna swap into this pair of boots because evasion uh early on is better than the energy Shield however you do want some energy Shield because as long as you have one energy Shield your character has like an innate stun resistance like a 50 to avoid being stunned okay this is a huge amount of monsters right now we're not doing great damage yet uh with our skills but this is gonna change later later this character is going to be super powerful holy [ __ ] these guys are freezing me okay large one of last uh pick up more cast speed okay the goats are scary I'm gonna pick up the stone ax I'm gonna try to pick up as many magical rare items as I can so that I can do the recipes and show you how you can make your character actually very very very strong it doesn't matter if you're playing in Soul self found if this is a fresh start if you're leveling a character and it's not strong you're probably doing something wrong during leveling your character should be very strong and by leveling I mean during the campaign right before you finish the story before you get to Maps your character should be feeling very very strong okay we're gonna pick up this Essence Essences are very very useful for a number of things from improving your gear to like doing specific crafts so this is a Crazy Goat essence has gargantuan contempt Essence is the physical damage I'm picking that up we got a sapphire ring we can equip this once we are level eight level the gems grab arcan's Dominion of course can be sold for Scrolls of wisdom so anytime you need like extra Scrolls of wisdom you can sell portal Scrolls you can sell blacks with wet Stones you can sell armor scrubs that's why these are very worth picking up if you want to go faster you can take off your armor um because light armor slows You by like three percent movement speed heavy armor slows You by like uh five percent movement speed this is not uh written anywhere on the item it's like a hidden modifier uh so if you want to go faster you can do that however you're gonna have less you know you're gonna have fewer defensive stats when you do that so it's also a risky thing to do but it makes it go faster okay so normally these these big guys you can skip them unless you really want to get as many Magic and rare items as you can which I do because I want to do the craft to show you guys so I'm gonna make sure to kill them okay too much clutter we're gonna wear this pick up the shoes and continue and there's another big unique uh monster here which we can kill so I'm trying to make sure I'm standing inside of the horrible storms while I'm casting to do extra damage um and then I can drop these boots pick up this so we have as many items to work with for The Craft it's usually worth um if you're not playing like a Melee character or bow character it's worth keeping like at least one armor scrap so you can pick up items sometimes you have like a nice three link uh with the right sockets that um will require that to purchase it so I'm gonna identify the boots I'm gonna identify the bow and that should be probably enough yeah that's gonna be enough for me to have another alteration so I have two alterations now I can sell these unidentified and this is going to be two transmutations so we get two transmutations two alterations and then I'm level eight now so I can do the craft I'm gonna also purchase an iron ring right let me grab added lightning from this we're gonna grab an iron ring so for that I need to sell some Scrolls I'm gonna sell them I'm gonna pick up an iron ring and here's the recipe iron Rings if they are sold with a skill gem they're gonna give you a resistance ring so if I sell it with a blue scale gem it's gonna give me a sapphire ring if I sell it with a green one it's gonna give me a topaz ring so lightning rest so that's why I kept these gems I'm selling this uh selling another one that's gonna be another topaz ring and then we can do a wandcraft recipe which requires a magic wand it requires a topaz ring or a sapphire ring or a ruby ring and then it requires one or above alteration so those things put together give me a wand with the same sockets it's gonna have the same sockets that's why we wanted like a three link but it's gonna have added lighting damage to spells and that amount of damage is very very big so we can make two at the same time yeah so we got two ones now our damage is really really big right our damage jumped up very very significantly I can also pick up this ring just have some extra res um and then this Essence I'm Gonna Keep because if the Rings are magic then this is going to be higher level craft requiring level 14 and if they are rare then it's going to be even higher level crafted requiring level 20 and giving you more damage to spells so I'm gonna keep this so that I can turn another ring into a rare ring and craft this later when we are around level 20. so added lightning I can put this with a spark or I can put this with horrible storms I'm probably gonna put it with overstorms uh put this here and then we can check if we have any other uh items like if there's any like a good helmet for example that I can equip there is something I'm gonna grab this uh and we're just gonna move on also I'm gonna make myself look not like a pleb I'm gonna use some MTX this is just like a visual thing uh just to make the character look cool because uh we're not plebs we got some good stuff this league there was like a really really good um MTX like this this weapon effect as well uh there is some really really uh cool stuff from this League's Challenge Rewards that makes your character look uh amazingly cool uh yeah we need a belt for this can I buy a belt is there for example like a leather belt here no belt here so I'm not gonna buy anything I could buy this one but I'm not gonna waste currency on it uh so we're just gonna go back to the portal that we left a long time ago but portal still for stay for a while as long as you don't log out and just go from the Waypoint to town you can take the portal back to where you are so that's why we did it uh throughout the weekend after killing and a little balls in here then we can log out so now my damage is really really big we're just gonna kill this guy very quickly with zero effort and that's going to give us a skill point I'm gonna sell all of these I need a bunch of transmutation orbs right now uh so we're gonna sell these things unidentified I'm gonna use the skill point we're gonna grab some uh lightning Walkers it's gonna be cast speed with lightning skills as well um and then we're just gonna continue to the prison yeah we got a medium life flask I can equip it in here foreign okay when you see like a little book here you see on the mini map that means a trial is going to be there most likely it's either that or some lore uh but if it's in a Zone where you know what trial is it's gonna be a lab trial in here so we're gonna just quickly go through that we can just walk straight through it as long as I use a flask I'll be fine foreign walk straight into that okay I can pick up this wand in case I need to grab something I put it in the offhand and uh just have it for leveling skill gems and if I need to craft uh something then I'll have that for my next weapon crafts all right go through the upper prism okay we're bleeding you can use um steel skin to stop the bleeding and later I'm gonna show you uh what you can do in terms of using uh Beast crafting to get a flask with uh bleed immunity or bleed removal go and grab the portal because we're low on Scrolls I'm gonna head through more damage so I'm picking up all the damage if at any point you feel like oh I'm too squishy I'm taking too much damage I want to be tankier then there are live nodes nearby that you can pick up very easily I'm gonna grab this I would like to get a actually an extra Mana flask or both chance these are very important to hold on to you can later buy some skeletons with these as well as I'm actually gonna go to town and I'm gonna pick up Mana flask because we're gonna run out of Mana probably on Brutus here uh so I'm just gonna I'm gonna sell this I'm gonna grab monoflask actually requires three you can sell okay I can also sell this for two scraps now I have three grab the biggest one also we'll sell this and we'll have a fresh full inventory to fill with the goodies from Brutus and we also refreshed our Quicksilver all right we're holding on to the essence we're holding on towards the transmutation uh yeah orbs of chance are good later for purchasing Maps or contracts in the late late game once you get to maps so it's not really worth using them for crafting um okay I already have that okay we got some magic gloves we follow the trail of blood oh he still hit me right we just demolish him because we have the one crafts they're absolutely huge you can log out after you're killing like a big boss uh the next Waypoint is usually unlocked so you can just look out um I'm gonna grab a flame Dash probably I'm gonna sell all of this stuff I'm gonna swap flame Dash with frost blink I'm gonna check if there are any good items to pick up such as movement speed boots no movement speed boots and then we can buy some extra stuff since we have the transmutation so the things we would want to buy potentially I could buy like a spell totem and put another spark setup there so I might do that so I'm gonna do this I'm gonna grab another Sparkle I need a okay I can sell the portal scroll uh we can buy the spark here so that's another setup that we can have I can put it for example in the helmet and then also we can buy vitality and Clarity which are two a very helpful auras that are just going to make your character uh feel very very smooth and it's going to be very very easy could also buy something with strength but I don't see a strength amulet here we can buy also a belt but I'm not gonna waste the currency for it right now so let's do this Vitality we don't have the strength requirement but we're gonna pick up some strength later I could pass through this let me quickly look at my path of building three not really gonna pass through this so I would like to pick up some strength on gear which would be either from a belt so I could buy a heavy belt like this or I could buy an amulet with strength right so I'm going to be on a lookout for that to get some extra strength because we're gonna need that for our character all right now we've got this uh little extra totem that we can put there's uh I would like to three link it but we're going to do it later so I'm gonna put it on whatever hotkeys uh feel good for me uh we're gonna put the clarity on uh and that's gonna be basically it for now wait I accidentally clicked on this there we go so with totems you can just leave them on they're gonna do extra damage uh if you're not using any totems then adding them is just basically a little bit of extra single Target uh which helps so you can drop your orbo storms you can drop your totem and then just do a bunch of damage picking up the wisdom Scrolls we leveled up every time you level up the shop resets uh so for example that that belt that was there is probably not there anymore but maybe there is another one uh but every time you level up the shop is being reset every time you level down as well the shop resets by the way okay this is really cool so I want to go and check if I can uh if I have a portal scroll I don't so I'm gonna do it at the next Waypoint I'm gonna kill this big guy okay we got an iron ring and this iron ring is gonna be helpful to craft the next weapons when we do that okay so we're gonna look for the Waypoint I'm gonna go to town and we're gonna grab something with strength so that that way we can equip the chest which is going to give me a three link uh and let's see what we got okay so we got a belt for example which is cheaper than this I'm gonna pick up the belt that allows me to equip this chest and I can swap Clarity in here and we can put spark with spell totem and I can buy another added lightning and now we have another damaging uh setup then we can also put Vitality in here and make our character stronger and then this ring I could sell with like a I could buy like a green gem for example and sell this ring to get a Toppers ring and then that's gonna be another ring for our crafts that we can use and the blue gems here I actually don't need so I can just sell them get another Scroll of wisdom and now we're no longer going to be bothering with like wisdom scraps or anything because we're way past that okay so now we got more damage so as you can see we can leave this and it's just gonna kill stuff uh now we're looking for the cave blue packs of monsters give more XP so if you're going to prioritize something in terms of what you're killing you want to prioritize the blue packs of monsters usually because they give significantly more experience than uh than just the normal monsters all right we're gonna go to the left we're gonna go for the lightning mastery that's gonna be a big damage increase I'm gonna in the end I'm gonna probably pick up like all three like three lightning masteries that are nearby because from them we're gonna want uh lightning damage with non-crits is lucky because we're gonna be going for non-crit setup uh and then we also want probably like oh that was a weird uh glitch but yeah we're gonna want also the chaining of orb of storms um if I wasn't using Elemental proliferation for the shock spreading I would also want to use like shock spreading mastery okay this guy doesn't need to be killed however we're going to show you how much our how insane our damage is right now Jade amulet for dexterity uh this would be something that is uh really nice to wear if I needed dexterity for something but we don't really need dexterity or anything okay I got frozen here that's why it's nice to have uh for example like a flask with freeze removal uh because sometimes you're gonna encounter that okay we're gonna pick these up and we're gonna get our level 12 skills now and I got another sapphire ring so we can just equip that and have a lot of cold Reds for mervale which is gonna be super helpful uh since I have so many items I'm gonna go to town actually first and I'm gonna level soon so I'm gonna have like opportunity to check the shop twice uh so I'm gonna sell all of that I'm gonna keep this in case I need the extra dexterity I'm gonna check if there are uh if there's anything in terms of like movement speed boots there isn't are there any neighbor gloves What colors would I need on the gloves if I can find like uh blue blue green or blue blue gloves then I would like to get that as well um and then from from this I don't think I really need anything right we don't pick up anything I could pick up Arc in case I want to play with that but I don't think that will be necessary okay and I can I can spend some Scrolls I can pick up like a lightning res ring and that's gonna be second lightning reasoning that I have in here I can equip one at some point in Act 2 and then later I can simply use that to craft my next weapon and we're not gonna pick up anything from these new skill gems you can take a look at them if you want but for this build I'm not gonna need any of them foreign I'm going to also put MTX on this because it looks cool all right I'm gonna put the spark totem with some Sparks here oh and we can turn on our auras we got Clarity and vitality and you're gonna see we can absolutely demolish this guy here yep all right we can log out because we picked up the next Waypoint uh we get a skill book sell all of that all right and now we're gonna go for the lightning damage cast speed instead of picking up tons of damage my cold res right now is at 56 if I wanted to craft more do I have something okay so at this point you probably don't have The Hideout unlocked yet because you unlock it in Act 2 but if you do if you already did some question Arc 2 and unlocked your hideout then on the crafting bench you can very easily craft uh resistances right so you can craft them on a white item such as for example this uh strength belt right so I could get this belt I could put cold res on it and it's gonna cost me one transmutation and it's gonna make it heavy belt of craft we get a nice roll of 20 and that's something that you can do to increase your cold rest and as you can see right now I have 75 cold rest right so now going into this Marvel fire fight I'm gonna be insanely insanely strong I got double wandcrafts I got capped cold press uh we get this set up with uh uh with the spark totem as well right so you can see I'm doing absolutely insane damage immunity to chill and freeze okay that's gonna be a really nice flask to have like an as an extra flask so I'll probably keep it uh just to be safe probably not gonna level the clarity here because uh it's gonna increase the Mana that it's eating from me so I'm just gonna leave it as it is and let's run to mervale and kill her all right so next step for this character is gonna be the level 20 wandcrafts and then we're gonna look to Cap all of our resistances and get as much alive and armor for example as we can we got a gem Carter's prism uh okay I can use it on something if I want I guess see we can orb of storms have increased lighting damage okay we can grab orbital Stones damage so this increases the quality of a gem so why not and we grab the cast speed here put the totem down horrible storms and just spawn damage she had melted so I'm gonna press the flask to be chill immune which is actually very helpful here I press it again there we go just absolutely obliterated I can grab leather cap and there we go super easy because our character was just made super strong and we're not even at our setup right the lightning conduit is a gem level 28 uh it has level 28 requirement just to equip it at level one so we're not even playing our build yet and we're already super super strong spark plus orbo storms is like a very basic setup that uh benefits a lot from the wandcraft so it's like it's just the easiest thing to play that you can level with okay I'm gonna sell all of that actually I need some um I'm gonna need some alterations so I'm gonna sell it like that and that gives me two alterations one transmutation and I got these rings that I can make rare however I'm not doing this yet because uh you probably should not spend resources until you need to right so before level 20 what if I find like a rare topaz ring right and we're gonna actually swap these cold rings to Topaz ranks because there is a bunch of lightning damage soon okay einhardt we can do his missions uh if I see beasts on the way here I'm just gonna kill them because I want to make sure that I am able to show you the uh wandcraft when I need to We're not gonna do League mechanic I'm skipping the league mechanic you can do it whenever you want um just you know interact with the league mechanic however you like it's just uh something to do for fun and to get like extra resources currency or whatever my personal preference is that I don't do the league mechanic um until much later in the league okay this uh Where is the entrance to the cave going to find a cave in here okay it's gonna be on the left side here somewhere okay this is a crazy zone I'm gonna pick up the crackling speed node okay there it is so I'm gonna put a portal in here and then we're gonna go grab the next Waypoint and we're gonna come back into the cave so we can log out after killing the White Beast just leave all the storms leave the totem and move on going back to town sell all of that okay I'm gonna maybe kill this red Beast holy [ __ ] this is a thank you one it's a scary crab okay tons of XP they actually give a lot of XP okay now I'm happy opening strong boxes because I cannot be frozen okay we got a rogue Exile here which gives a lot of gear so you can always check that out uh let's see we have some movements beyond the boots we got movement speed on the boots but we would lose the links here so I need to find a way to get my links back right so we're gonna keep these boots and then try to figure out a way to get my links and we got a ruby ring as well another iron ring all right I'm gonna pick up the wisdom Scrolls we're gonna grab okay let me first murder this guy we're gonna log out to go back to town and then we can sell this all of this can be sold I would need the links so this is what I'm going to be looking for we're looking for blue blue green because we want to be able to use the onslaught so I don't see a blue blue green in here let's see if we get a little green one we've got Quicksilver from doing the quest uh there is no blue blue green there's a wand that we could try to recolor potentially uh I could try to recolor one of my wands so I could try to recolor this one uh or this one actually so we see if we can grab blue blue green on this blue blue green okay so we got a blue blue green on this that means I can drop flame Dash grab movement speed boots and dump this in here but I would need to craft this right so are we level 14 we're level 16 even so I could make one of the Rings magic for example right I could grab uh let's see you can sell this I could grab okay we already have a magic ring here okay I grab this one I can make it magic uh we can make this wand magic as well so let's do this uh plus one level of all cold skill gems and then we can grab this we're all using cold skill gems so this is still going to be better and it just requires level 14 and gives me a little bit more damage right so uh because I'm picking up so many items uh I can very comfortably do that and then we can put this in the offhand drop this I need a quicksilver uh have immunity to chill and freeze I can put this last maybe in here or always have it in here I'll just keep this task for a while here and then I think we are totally good so level all the rest of this stuff and then we're gonna pick lightning damage with non-critical strikes is lucky which is going to give me huge damage or because I don't really need the damage right now I'm doing like tons of damage so what I could do is increase my clear which will give me more XP so I'm gonna pick non-projector chaining skills chain plus one time this applies to horrible storms which is basically increase the range of orb of storms so I'm gonna pick this um the again the lightning damage with non-critical strikes would give me like 15 more damage or something like that that's what it roughly translates into uh but I'm just gonna do it like this okay um this is going to be leveled anymore so I could equip this but I'm just gonna elect to not level the onslaught uh probably gonna drop it at some point okay we got einhardt in here with us again so when I try to kill beasts still very low on wisdom Scrolls so I'm gonna keep picking them up eventually what happens is you drop like a mother load of of blacksmith wet stones and armor scrubs and you sell them for a ton of Scrolls okay mission complete with einhardt so I'm not gonna visit Menagerie right now but I have it completed I talked to him so now I'll be able to craft my flasks when I need to so I'm gonna show you that around level 36 what we are unlocked for foreign s so we don't take too much damage from them and we are completely safe in here okay Artisan this is uh likely to give me some scraps yeah blacks and Western okay not too spectacular but it is what it is foreign okay now I might pick up the yeah we're probably gonna pick up the live the resistances and go to the next uh lightning mastery it's going to give us really big damage I could also grab Elemental overload actually probably I'm going to grab the live then Elemental overload and then go toward the live mastery okay we've got an Essence here Essences are a very nice to do early on you can just throw them on Whatever item you have and you have a chance to get really good rolls it's nice when you have like an item that has the exact sockets and links so for example once you get to level like 24 25 and you can get four links then it's very useful because you can equip a four link and then you can give it some decent stats because links are links on like socket colors are more important early on than anything else pretty much you can see power damage is insane right now because we've got the wandcrafts I'm gonna not level Vitality probably uh here we're gonna pick up I think Herald of thunder I can sell all the other stuff and then out of the other gems what I would probably get is um wave of conviction Herald of Thunder is going to be enough I could also grab Harold of ice if I wanted some extra damage uh close to grab the skitter bolts if I wanted some extra damage but I'm going to elect to Simply grab the wave of conviction which is going to give us exposure so it's going to reduce the elemental res I'm going to put it on the totem instead of spark and this spark can level in the offhand and then I'm gonna put this Herald in here we're gonna some yeah I think this is all good all right now we're gonna go to the Western forest and then probably gonna do the Crypt so I'm gonna enable this and the totem is now gonna be like an automatic way of applying exposure for me which is gonna just help me do more single Target damage okay if I find the an amulet with strength I could replace my belt for example with an amulet and then use this for a live belt okay our character feels super strong right now I'm just gonna go to town sell the crap I picked up and then we're gonna go to the catacombs and I'm gonna pick up this life with Quicksilver flasks by the way the way you want to manage them is you always want to use the one that is full so I recommend like using two quicksilvers you only need like one life flask and maybe two Mana flasks uh or one depending on like your manual regeneration and the cost of your skill if you're running Clarity and so on um but with two quicksilvers you want to use the one that has more charges first uh because uh you want both to be gaining charges as you're killing monsters right if you have one Quicksilver that is full and One Quicksilver and that is missing some charges you wanna use the one that is full so that both of them can be gaining charges right that's because it's gonna like double the amount of charges you're gaining and double basically your uptime of quicksilver okay so here we're just looking for the trial so again we're looking for the book on the minimap okay just destroyed this uh Beast okay we got a book and we got the trial nice and we can log out after this go back to town I can look for movement speed boots so you can just uh check every now and then the vendors if they got any movements big boots and also I guess gloves with uh good sockets that's what I would be looking for and helmet as well I guess but I don't see anything Worthy so in the western Forest you can see the road a waypoint is on the right side that's where alira is going to be and the other side is where the Weaver is going to be foreign is going to be higher up if we missed her so I'm gonna quickly grab my skill point while I'm here I'm gonna not level the Vitality I I swear I clicked it right right click it like three times already okay uh then we're gonna go for Elemental overload and I'm gonna go into the town first before I go here because then if I log out it's gonna put me in the town where I was most recently so I don't want to go to act one town foreign [Music] spells okay that's actually pretty good it's just not linked uh so I need an extra three link although I don't need the uh I mean it's a pretty good uh it's like a level 14 craft but I'm gonna lose the added lightning so if I can replace it if I can link it maybe I don't have any um a few things right now to link it but that's a pretty good one if you didn't have the wandcraft it's definitely a very good one to use okay now I want to go to the opposite side from the road to go to Weaver okay we got transmutation thank you loot filter and we got Elemental overload so now if the element will overload procs you're gonna see it on the scale that it proged for basically when that happens when you create so you can see it on a scale you can see this like little um rectangle what's that what's called an English a little shape is it rhomboid no uh we can see a little shape that tilted Square thing under the skill I'm going to show it again when it pops on something okay you can see it here right so it's like a little shining thing that means the elemental overload broke and that means the skill is doing 40 more damage okay I'm absolutely demolishing these beasts so we're definitely gonna have enough for some flask crafts okay I should have went up there usually in the Weavers chambers of my mistake you want to go like for the first either left or right uh whatever is the first turn that you can take that's usually the right way to go yes a lot of crazy beasts foreign and we also have Holyfield or Rebel level 20. okay I'm gonna show you the power of the wandcraft okay so I'm gonna craft the ones now okay we're gonna portal because we have enough currency right I'm pretty sure I can ID some of this stuff we can sell this and then we can ID a bunch of stuff here okay can also sell this and that's not gonna be enough just yet right but it's close okay um so I'm gonna grab this grab this make them both are rare this is the better one crowd so we're gonna use this and grab one of the Rings grab an alteration okay and this is the level 20 craft and we're gonna put orb of storms this and this let's see if we can get sockets so I can use the other one as well can you get the sockets in here somewhere I don't see this is a blue blue blue oh if I had this before but I would lose something though okay we're just gonna go like this I'm gonna destroy this drop this as well we're not gonna need it I can drop this as well also not gonna need it we can wear this put this in the off hand okay so we got level 14 and level 20 craft here we still have one more level 20 craft to go but I will need an alteration for it but this will show you the incredible damage especially if we proc uh Elemental overload but this should be absolutely ridiculous damage so we're gonna drop this yep huge damage this guy had like no time to do any attacks almost wasn't quite enough to kill him before he went up but still pretty good and there we go and we got an Amber amulet unfortunately it doesn't have anything uh great to go with it but that's fine all right so I can ID some extra stuff and we can sell this and then I can do the other one craft right so we can craft the level 21. uh where is this okay so this this and this and that's the level 20 craft and then you can also put some resistances on these since I'm not gonna be swapping them for a long time I can go to my Hideout I'm using the awaken Pee Wee trade macro I look at my res I'm gonna like equip the cold res ring here and look at my rest so I'm missing fire rest the most I'm just gonna do double firecraft fire on this one fire on this one okay so now we got 47 61 47 resistances which is pretty good I could put uh res on some other pieces of gear that I have but for now they're not really uh great in any way like this ring is okay so I could put some res on this but I'm gonna wait until I get something better for the Rings I actually recommend grabbing two stone rings because this can get to maximum 30 res but two stone rings can get more as you can see here cold and lightning this is 32 res right so perfect we got two perfect ranks I can sell this pick up this 1616 so we've got two really really good rings that I would Craft resistances on as I can sell this sell this I'll craft Reds on one of them because that's how much I have currency for so we've got lowest is lightning res that's what I'm gonna Craft on the fire and cold one I'm gonna craft lightning and then we're like 63 63 63 52 and you can see how effortless it is to get like high resistances like you should never really struggle with that as long as you just do these basic crafts and if you have a lot of augmentations you could potentially do this um like add another modifier on them with the augmentation but I would keep augmentations until you have like three of them at least stockpiled because um you're gonna need three of them if you want to ever put movement speed on boots that's going to be a craft that we're gonna unlock soon as well all right let's kill all the bandits because that's uh what's gonna be the choice for this character we're gonna just kill all the bandits because we are the good guys okay that's like a boss okay if you say so all right so as you can see I'm picking up so many of uh so many of these magic items and that allows me to have enough transmutations to profusely craft my ear like this is not something I would normally do while leveling because it slows you down to pick up all this stuff and to kill as many monsters as I'm killing right now but I just want to demonstrate how you can improve your character early on for anyone that has a bit of a struggle foreign obliterating everything in seconds all right selling everything we got another transmit so I can totally go do the hideout look at my lowest res which is lightning crafter under lightning roll and now my lighting is almost capped crazy high resistances without finding any good items right and now we go kill the oak so in terms of this setup uh for your character doing all of this stuff act one is where you do the most act two and three you also do a bunch but the later acts you actually do less stuff like it's most noticeable in the early Acts because the oak is a monster all of uh players uh have trouble with if you don't have enough damage early he's gonna like heal but we have way more than enough damage okay I can pick up Amber amulet my little filter shows it for Caster leveling because strength and dexterity are usually a bit of a struggle on a witch so it's worth uh having that available what I'm gonna sell all the stuff I don't need keep this and since we killed all the bandits we're getting two extra skill points then go toward the lightning damage the act one you do a lot of setup act two you do a lot of setup I have three and four a little bit as well but after like act four uh you do much less of that because you're gonna have all the skill gems once you have like your four links set up then the main thing you do after that is uh fixing up your gear right so you're gonna be trying to get more live more resistances that kind of stuff good idea scepter see if we get something good nope foreign this Zone usually is like a s or n you can see like a zigzag like this uh that's how usually you want to navigate this Zone it looks something like that it can be like flipped around in many different ways but it's usually like an s or an N or a z something like that so hopefully you're gonna be picking up like the patterns of how I'm exploring the Zone because most of the time I'm going like in the general right direction of where you're expecting to go and I'm gonna try to give like pointers as well uh where you want to go and also I am skipping every single Quest that I don't need to be doing so if you follow and only just do the quests that I'm doing you're gonna be totally fine uh so we're gonna be skipping like a few side quests that are completely unnecessary however we do side quests that give us like a quick silver flasks because these uh speed us up anyway okay we're doing insane damage okay I have a freeze flask so I can get out of this we got an orb of regret wanna just eat that one the white candy so at the end of this this Zone um or like almost at the end of it when we get to the Waypoint there's going to be a recipe for movement speed on boots so if you haven't found boots with movement speed until this point which is going to happen a lot like movement speeds boots are not guaranteed sometimes you find them sometimes you don't uh so if you don't have Boost with movement speed you want to find boots with good links and then you can craft movement speed which is going to cost you uh three augmentation orbs and you need either a white item or you need a magic slash rare item that is going to have open prefix right so I'm going to show you what I mean by prefix you can see these resistances if you press alt these resistances that we crafted they're always a suffix you can see mastercrafted suffix modifier so prefixes are the first modifiers and suffixes are the last modifiers right on the on the on the explicit right so you can see also that there's like an implicit modifier right which is increased spell damage and then we put the craft which is a prefix and magic items can have one prefix one suffix rare items can have three prefixes and three suffixes so if I wanted to I could put a lightning resistance for example because lightning uh because resistances are suffixes and I don't have lightning Rays on this and this item can have three prefixes three suffixes because it's a rare item the yellow one but it has only two of the suffixes so that means it has an open suffix right so I can craft res on open suffixes you can craft resistances and attributes on open prefixes you can graph things like movement speed things like live energy shield and Mana uh so let's sell this check if there are Maybe good links that I need I need like a helmet and gloves with good links nothing here so we're just gonna move on Grand life flask augmentation now so I have three augmentations now so if I wanted to I could craft movement speed I do have booths with some movement speed and they also have resistances so for now I'm gonna keep them but later if I find something better that would benefit from that movement speed being on it now I'm gonna keep these three augmentations instead of like spanning them randomly on something I'm gonna hold on to them so I can craft Ms when I need wisdom all right where is the exit to this Zone there we go uh I can pick up the lightning damage and ancient pyramid you're gonna want to go to like the opposite side um most zones in Poe are kind of you want to think of them as being placed in a square so as you can see this is the bottom Square it's like this right so this is the bottom square and this is the top this is the bottom corner and it's the top corner right so that's how you want to think about it so you want to go to the opposite corner right foreign ER and from the top Corner we want to go to the bottom corner that's when the exit is going to normally be and now we are in the top Corner again because you can see on the top there is nothing here but it goes to the bottom right so we're in the top corner so we want to go again to the bottom corner and I can already see the exit because it's like the top level which is the smallest when he goes up here this is like if you watch speedrunners people usually um use this time this downtime to you know cook a meal uh go to the town craft their level 21s this is when people normally would like be level 20 21 something like that we're a bit over leveled because I'm going slow and explaining things but yeah okay we're doing huge damage and he's dead uh and I think we can just uh leave everything else on the ground and go so again I don't need to wait for the door to open we can simply kill him go back to town right click Vitality do not level it 20th time in a row and go to the city of stars let's act three now and act three and four this is where you wanna copy resistances usually a good time I would recommend to copy resistances which means get all the elemental resistances fire cold and lightning to 75 percent would be like around level 35 something like that when you're gonna do the calm and the rest of fights and act four uh because they do a lot of Elemental damage especially calm if you're not capped fire on that fight you will very likely take huge amounts of damage and possibly die so there's no reason to go do anything in town here we skipped straight away I have some good Essences here this is a lighting damage to spells okay this is actually not that good got two Essences so if I have like a four link uh something like that then I can potentially use them when I do add another essence of whoa which is spell damage or energy shield on gear so this is Zone level 24 and once we are 24 and we're actually eligible to get uh four links from the vendor because vendor sells items that are plus one to your level so if you are level 24 then the vendor sells item level 25 items um and item level 25 is where you start seeing four links so every time we are in the shop now in town we're going to be looking for four linked items since I got good virus I can totally just run through this and capping your resistances also makes you in general just feels so much more tanky against everything I think it's gonna be the other way here we actually need a lot of lightning res we've got 71 lightning rests so we are totally fine against this okay everything died instantly I think she's phased as well yeah nice and I can go back to town uh from here I'm gonna pick up either conductivity uh you can also pick up purity of elements if you want to be immune to all ailments Elemental ailments you can also pick up Zell tree we can also pick up um there's no wrath here I think we can buy wrath from the shop I'm gonna pick up conductivity as our curse here but I don't think I'm gonna bother manually casting the casting it for a while a level 24 so again we're looking for four links so let's check out if there is anything available particularly on items that can roll blue sockets mostly that's what we are going to be looking for I'm gonna grab the key sell this I can potentially look for like strength and dexterity amulet if I find something good and auras yeah there is also uh wrath aura that I could pick up uh if I wanted to do more damage but I don't think that's going to be necessary I would rather go with like a discipline Aura much later when we're gonna get like some Mana reservation efficiency we're probably gonna like pick a discipline Aura to be a little bit more tanky but for now I'm just gonna put conductivity and maybe I'm gonna level it in the offhand weapons um usually or usually curses uh the so curses that are not marks have reduced effect on bosses which are like unique monsters uh with like the brown slash orange color um so on the rare monsters and unique monsters marks have 100 Effectiveness uh some marks are totally fine for those but for hexes like conductivity they have reduced effect for rare monsters it's like 33 reduced effect and for Unique monsters it's 66 reduced effect so when you're looking at the amount of damage they provide compared to exposure from um wave of conviction the wave of convection actually provides more damage in terms of the single Target damage than the hexes against unique monsters so if you wanna use one of those then I definitely recommend prioritizing the wave of conviction um and if you're gonna ex bolt and use both right and eventually you could have something like wave of conviction hex touch conductivity uh which would apply both with one button and that's a really good solution to that as well you can also uh keep the wave of convection in the totem and for example have um hex touch with orb of storms right that's another way to do this okay as you can see we're taking no damage uh this is a Zone where people can potentially take huge amounts of damage because you get these like flickers striking discharging guys that are gonna jump on you and do crazy lightning damage and lightning damage has is very volatile it can do uh a big range of uh hits that are like small or big that's why this like damage with non-critical strikes are is lucky for lightning Mastery is very powerful because when you look at like cold damage it's gonna have like it's gonna have different break points right if you can see lightning is like 1 to 48 and cold or fire would be more like um 15 to 30 or something like that right so it's going to be narrower range on average you're gonna be about the same damage uh called lightning and fire but in terms of the volatility the lighting is the most volatile and has the biggest range just testing the damage against these monsters and it's actually ridiculously strong we do so much damage right now and I'm about to get like a big multiplier to my damage so yeah the the exact mechanics of how it works when you have the lucky damage uh lucky basically means it's getting rolled twice right so you roll twice and the better result is being taken so you can roll one and then you can roll 30 and you're gonna deal 30 damage yeah okay we're not gonna pick up the soul for four links uh in terms of the colors you want to look at the requirements of the item if it requires int it's more likely to roll blue sockets if it requires um strength it's more likely to roll red Dex is green that's how I wanna look at it to determine whether an afford link is going to be useful to you in terms of the colors that it can potentially roll or not uh so we're looking for like this type of a four link this is not going to be useful for me because I don't need like armor this armor evasion base so it's going to be written green which I don't need really we need mostly blue as you can see with a little bit of a red and green uh so now we're gonna pick the lightning damage with non-critical strikes it's lucky could also pick shocks spread which we're gonna need soon at level 28 but we have elemental proliferation and you can also pick later like a maximum effect of shock but for now we go the lucky damage and now I'm probably gonna since I picked up so much damage and I'm about to pick up also like a very important skill where am I going it's not this part uh yet Marketplace normally uh when I level I don't do catacombs later on because you only have to do it once per league right if you're not playing like Fresh ssf Start so normally I'm used to from Top if I'm if I go to town then I go that way but nice to have to do the rest of this okay we're doing ridiculous damage okay we got AOE and live so we're gonna swap the lightning conduit we get it at level 28 and shortly after we're gonna do the lab and we're gonna get the lab then we get the 100 chance to shock and and that's when we can very comfortably swap I'm gonna pick up life and Mana here level 26 going to dogs this is the order by the way if you just follow the order that I'm doing everything in it's gonna be a pretty efficient way of doing this where you don't have to backtrack and you can just do everything in kind of a straight line in terms of the progression with my orbitals my elbow stone is so strong holy damage if you are ever under leveled let's say you were not killing many monsters you were just running forward trying to be super speedy uh this is a very very good Zone to catch up on XP because there's so many blue monsters and they give a lot of XP but we're level 27 so it's totally fine to progress since I leveled I'm gonna check the vendor also gonna sell the items look for four links there is nothing here there is nothing here so we're just gonna move on and we're gonna grab this live this is the dropping horrible storms and it's killing everything around that's some rare monsters here you're generally just want to follow the carpet okay we got a corrupted Zone in here which might mess things up when you have a corrupted Zone this red thing uh that has a tendency of messing with the layout and it can be quite weird and unexpected sometimes but this one seems totally fine let's check the damage yep it's huge it's just way more fun uh to play when your character is so strong and once you get lightning conduit we're going to be ridiculously strong since a lightning conduit is currently extremely powerful and I suspect even if it gets nerfed by like 30 percent it's still still going to be a very very strong skill foreign grab this and I'm gonna go straight to gravicious and after killing gravicious we're getting the scale that we need the lightning conduit and maybe you can swap to it right away Although our shock is not going to be like consistent so it's probably gonna feel much better if I do lab first so I think that's what I'll do right this guy does a lot of damage even though my fire is pretty high wisdom I think I'm gonna just pick up a lightning conduit and level it into your hands even though the gems level with the vendor it's actually slightly slower than you would actually normally level them um now we're just gonna go I'm probably gonna go down here because I'm later gonna be I'm gonna need to be here and here so I'm just gonna go down here grab light of divinity and holy Dominion these are like this is like a super powerful area to be in I'm gonna sell this check here uh that's a Mana regen I could potentially put a resistance on this and it wouldn't be too bad so I'm probably gonna just sell this equip this at least we got some Mana regen for now uh let's look for a four link this is uh not too bad it has the right colors so I can grab this one uh it's better than nothing and then any other four links this is this could potentially hit the right colors because actually no it doesn't have requirements this is kind of like a lottery so that's not something I really want to pick uh so I could put the spell totem here with wave of conviction with added lightning and then I can put um actually there is something I do want to pick there I didn't grab from the Weaver reward should I pick up Weaver reward no I didn't so we can pick up the elemental Focus this is something we're gonna need soon are there any other gems That I Want from here Elemental Focus I could pick up power charge on a crit as well for a more consistent proc uh but I think this is gonna be it for now and I'm gonna put flame Dash in the helmet or in the boots and drop this out do we have like a nice helmet Maybe four link helmets soon should be pretty good but okay we can just move on and I can put some Essence on this uh we can put just random Essence on this uh can craft this is not particularly good so I don't really feel like crafting on this but sure why not we put some lightning on it maybe or actually call let's do colder it's the cold rest that way we are calf and cold rest very unlikely to get Frozen um all right anything else I think uh lularis Temple One I wanted to pick up the lightning conduit that's another thing I wanted to do so let's grab lightning conduit and I'm gonna level it in the offhand and then supports with it are going to be Elemental Focus um maybe Arcane Surge and added lightning right and then we're gonna have herbal storms with elemental proliferation and then later maybe with a hex touch and stuff like that okay so we can now continue for now we're playing with the same setup as I had before here you want to go the way the carpet is going again you don't need to kill this guy you can skip it we have such insane damage you can one shot him but it's uh just faster to skip it in general if you want to level faster one of the most important things to learn is to kill fewer monsters and kill them more efficiently so you want to kill like big packs of monsters you want to kill like big packs of blue monsters but you don't want to just like continuously chase them and and try to kill everything because that is very inefficient and just like drop or both storms and I don't need to do anything else so I dropped herbal stones and then I shot um spark once and that was enough to kill the rare monster over there again High shot spark once and that way I don't end up overkilling and casting too many times it's not gonna be good for my character because it's gonna have the wrong colors so we are still on a hunt for the four link Meanwhile my damages utterly ridiculous all right we can go down here pick up the recipe lightning damage actually useful okay teleports instantly but she's kind of dead we'll pick up the recipe we pick up the key so we can go back to town service I can check the scepter Maybe um nope all right and we can look for a form like I can delete this probably by now uh by this point we're interested in four links I don't see A4 Link in here so we can just grab the book If you time correctly you can move while talking to an NPC uh but it's basically like all about timing right it's pretty Advanced thing if you wanna speed yourself up a little bit but you can click on an NPC and then click away while the window is basically popping up while it's uh well it's you know like the moment you you walk next to the NPC when the window is appearing you have like a you know half a second or less window where you can click away and if you hold the mouse button you can actually just like walk around while the vendor is open uh but that way you can save yourself a little bit of time all right I'm gonna go find a waypoint first here now that we have the Waypoint I'm gonna go to the trial and then we're gonna do the lab and with the lab we're gonna be able to swap to a lightning conduit because lightning can do it really feels much better if you have like 100 chance to shock and we didn't pick up any chance to choke anywhere on our skill tree because we are going to be getting a guaranteed 100 chance to shock okay so I can uh go back to town and equip a better flask and we can go to the lab I could fit a better Aura probably instead of the yeah let me go to the town and we're going to keep this Herald in the offhand leveling maybe and see if I can do wrath or something like that let's see how much damage that would be so uh we've got the zealotry which would help my crit as well it's pretty pretty good as well or we can have the Wrath so if I put the Wrath in here let's see how much it is I can test it in The Hideout so right now we are dealing um 1790 DPS roughly and if I enable route and disable the herald it's 1900 so it's pretty decent increase and we're still going to have enough Mana to do everything uh so I'm gonna use wrath instead of the herald of Thunder it's gonna be less hits around us from the herald of Thunder but it's gonna be more damage overall so I'm just gonna do that and uh use the rather Aura for now since we don't have access to determination yet but once I get the determination access to that then I would rather run a defensive order because our damage is it's going to be nuts but simply just because we have so much spare Mana we are able to do that you could probably see throughout this whole run I'm selling items I'm getting like these chromatic orbs that change the colors uh you get the chromatics from just finding them or selling items that have a green blue and red connected doesn't matter the order just RGB connected that's what gives me the chromatics okay easy I can level the clarity maybe slightly put a little bit better Mana region probably gonna pick up some like life and Mana region nodes soon as well all right so much currency I don't think I'm gonna go back for that at this point we have a bunch of transmutations I don't need to pick up every single one we had like nine transmits because I've been picking up so much stuff we're doing very well on the currency front okay I'm getting hit by a skeletons they don't like me I got hit by like the cold damage skeleton and these Arrow at the same time and I got chilled I was like in the middle of all of that I was uh not nice all right we're gonna pick up this do you have enough Fire Res you can walk through this fire no problem Dodge every single poison dart like Neo like this is the right way with them okay last aspirin's trial foreign is there anything that I asked you'd want to pick up I don't think so it's like no links no weapons that I need so we just open the treasure chests and we got decent gloves that I maybe want another four links and then we got glove enchant what's on this nothing good I'm just gonna enchant these gloves then we're gonna go Elementalist and we're gonna go shaper of storms I hit always shock and uh that is going to allow me to swap the lightning conduit very very easily so uh let's do the swap now and I'm gonna show you exactly how we do that I'm just gonna sell other crap first I'm gonna sell this as well and then we're gonna purchase a four link if there is one available no there isn't so gonna be going with the three link for now so it's gonna be uh lighting conduit and we can remove with my spark Arcane surge Onslaught so what I can do now is have like horrible storms with Onslaught with elemental proliferation and then we can have lightning conduit with added lightning damage with elemental focus and then I would like to have also Arcane surge in that but we're not gonna have it so I'm gonna link Arcane surge to the flame Dash and that's gonna proc it so we're gonna be on Three Links and we're gonna be looking for our four links um Okay so we've got the orbo storms this and lightning conduit and then spark can go in the offhand so lightning conduit Works uh where you're targeting an area like a huge area and everything in that area that is shocked will take damage and it will consume the shock so you need to shock them again to do damage again so the way we're going to be doing that this is going to be dropping horrible storms horrible storms is going to hit things and it's gonna shock everything it's gonna chain and then the shock is gonna spread through the elemental proliferation so we're gonna shock everything that's being hit in a very large area and then we're gonna use lightning conduit while standing inside of it and we're gonna deal damage using lightning skill inside of Orbison which is going to proc orbo storms again which is going to shock everything again so as long as the urban storms is done we can just Spam lightning conduit and deal damage and we don't need to like go out of our way to like uh shock things and then do this and shock and do this and I'm just gonna be able to cast it as long as we are inside the horrible storms right I think we're going this way right it's my lightning res 71. should be fine so yeah that's why that's why I picked this chaining for orbital storms because with the chain from orbital storms plus with elemental proliferation the shocks are spread in the radius of 13. the Mastery gives you radius of 10 so the elemental proliferation is a bit better however it does cost you a socket link right I could have like added lightning here if I didn't have that but we have enough damage damage is not our problem I just want maximum AOE so I can kill as many monsters as possible if you ever have Mana problems so you need to fix just pick a couple of nodes for increased Mana region increased mana and you're going to be totally fine but now I'm going to be picking like live and Mana region nodes as well which is gonna help me stay topped up on Mana no matter what okay so now we're picking this and it's gonna give me like live live region Mana okay why is this guy not taking damage this is a crazy Essence monster okay this guy is like harder than Dominus that we're gonna fight that's really nuts I'm probably just gonna go and look for a four link again let's sell this and look for a four link I would really like some four links let's see what do we got we got boots this is potentially okay if I can link it so I could try linking that that would fit our orb of storms very nicely so let's see if we can link it I'm gonna increase the quality first because increasing quality increases the chances of linking something so we got two tries we didn't get it uh fusings uh what do we sell to get fusings we sell Jewelers orbs okay so we don't want to do that we don't have uh enough of that all right I'm just gonna keep this and try if I find some extra fusings uh basically just gotta keep trying to get a four link this is a fairly late for me to still not have a four link usually I get it pretty early uh but it's okay we got enough damage that we don't really needed yet usually you'll have it like around piety if you keep checking the vendors all right foreign I can pretty much stand in the beam and it's super super easy we're doing so much damage okay I'm taking so much damage but we're fine we win the race who kills the other guy faster uh right I don't see anything good in here it's gonna go back to town all of this unfortunately uh no four link s you to poison no we don't care about that all right let's continue ah not Imperial Gardens I go act four now the aqueduct so everything is insanely easy because of the overwhelming amount of damage we have right now that's one way to deal with things in Poe we're not too tanky and we're gonna become more and more squishy for a while now until we get uh until we get some armor for example until we get like determination uh later we would also like to get a shield for example you can get like a shield like plus one to a lightning skill gyms or something that would be a good way to become more tanky foreign storms virtually without any support skill gems is still killing monsters that was a boss all right let's check this vendor 404 link hopefully we get something Let's see we got a four link over here uh it's level 32 but that's totally fine okay that's one of the four links that we need um what else do we have we have a helmet uh that we could potentially use potentially craft something on it um let's get it just in case so this I could reroll this with an alteration for example and try to get something decent on this and then maybe craft something else but let's go to level 32 first see if there's any other four link and then if we need to then we'll do that and for that four link we're basically gonna like smack Arcane surge into the lightning conduit as well although arcanes are just pretty good with the setup that we have right now it's also nice to add extra damage for the lightning conduit let's not get smashed a song gets smashed again all right we can go back to town we can sell this and then check if we have any good four links this can potentially be linked this can potentially be linked but nothing else here I'm gonna grab this node I'm gonna see we can get something decent on this we got lightning res on this that's pretty okay uh for now I'm gonna put wrath in here actually no rap should be let's put it in here I guess Elemental Focus added lightning a lightning conduit um and then I could pick faster casting uh I could also drop the Arcane surgeon here which is going to give me like 10 more spell damage so that's one option that we have there are some other options but we're gonna go with this for now the cost of this is 12 Mana so after two casts this will procs I I kind of want to sell it at like 24 Mana right so I probably want to level this um to be requiring 24 my license if I am not going to be procking this with one uh trigger then I want to proc it with two triggers to the like maximum accent right on a maximum at a maximum level okay wait put the rough okay now it requires uh where is Arcane search here requires 17 okay we still want to level this now it requires 19 probably one more time holy moly all right and now it requires 22 and that's how we're gonna keep it at so it's gonna be 12 and 12 okay it's gonna be 24 more damage transportation okay in this Zone mine is level two we are looking for the soul that we pick up for one of the side quests so looking for like an exclamation mark on the minimap thank you all this decks here and go for the holy Dominion another fusing nice so now it's pretty much smooth sailing like this setup is uh most complete we're gonna still add a few things but not too many okay I need to get out of there because it's gonna detonate Corpses gotta check the rare ring in case it has something good on it nope okay so we're still gonna add a hex touch to the setup with the connectivity and we're gonna add determination for some defense and that it would be nice to later have a shield as well so that the character can have like actual real defense but early on we're not using a shield because number one we don't have access to Shield charge unless we do the library which usually you want to skip it's not really most of the time especially since we would have to sacrifice a lot of damage by dropping the wand that has the flat damage crafted on it right so this is usually when you're going to be quite low level so you see I'm level 33 and level 37 Zone uh which is still fine but I'm gonna do this Zone and then I'm gonna go into like the first calm Zone and then I'm gonna complete the the zones and kill the bosses right now we grab retribution with them this skill does so much damage it's crazy foreign flask this is the one that we want to craft uh bleed on so we got increased recovery rate which is a prefix if you press Alt you're gonna be able to see that which means it has an open suffix and bleed removal is a suffix which means we're gonna be able to put bleed removal on it uh okay there's some more monsters here okay we leveled up pick up the live so I'm gonna craft the flask now I'm gonna show you what do we do so we go okay let's pick up this recipe as well soccer numbers two to four sockets cool we go to the Menagerie we grab this flask which is either gonna be white or have some prefix that you like we put it in we scroll down to flasks and we go for ceiling so ceiling is I can think of it as like sealing your wounds that's gonna be uh anti-bleed uh I cannot crap because I need a rare creature level 20. I don't have enough Beast skilled okay we need to kill some more beasts then if if we see beasts uh we need to kill some extra beasts so that we can craft this then I thought I killed enough piece I've been killing so many beasts but apparently not enough or have I know right I still don't have this I don't need I don't get it after talking to him or anything okay so we need to kill more beasts and then I'm gonna be able to do it otherwise I could just like I'll sum it but that's kind of a waste so we don't want to do that we go back to Crystal veins and then we go to cow's dream because it's also gonna be level 37 Zone and now we're closer to this uh if you're too many levels behind then you're gonna be getting XP penalty and you don't want to do that but being like two three levels under the level of the zone is totally fine as long as your character is strong enough to handle it foreign decent amount of stuff to stay up on the levels and that way we have a very very easy time killing everything since our damage scales largely with the levels of the gems so the more XP we get the stronger we are okay we got a another four link and kill these guys here should be pretty easy and we also got Superior wave of conviction which I can what's the quality increase the mental damage so I can level that in the offhand maybe instead of spark I don't need spark for anything okay so with this four link uh I could potentially go for a different four link for my other skill because this green would allow me to like keep on sort and like added lightning so let's check if there are any four links available here on other items we got the gloves okay we got the gloves which we could potentially change to four blue it wouldn't be like too likely to hit for blue but it does have end requirement so it means there is a chance for this to happen so I might try a few and buy a few I mean spend all my chromatics uh we didn't get it unfortunately I'm just gonna sell this so we're gonna keep it and uh see if we can get it later okay no luck it is what it is we're just gonna continue uh I could potentially do like I said the fire is craft so I could drop we could drop for for example like Vitality in here okay let's do the fire script because my resistance is fire is like the lowest it's the only uncapped actually so makes sense so fire drop it in here and now we are Captain all resistances all are 75 you can see uncapped here this uncapped you want to push to like 105 because once you lose 30 at the end of Act five then you're gonna be able to still sit Above 75. So vitality and then I can do wave of conviction spelled or um added lightning and then I can put Clarity in here and we got this free uh to use whatever we want in here all right awesome and then I can turn the orders back on so this is where I recommend having all of your resistances capped because it will allow you to be super safe in these both fights that are coming if you're tanky then you can spam your uh lightning conduit or whatever damage skill you're using and it also adds to the damage right because a big portion of damage that you're dealing is also the up time that you're able to achieve and that is dictated largely by uh like what kind of skill you're using and also whether you're tanky enough to not have to constantly run around since I have some extra augmentations uh I could put them on my rings for example so what I could do is slap this here okay energy Shield if we hit live will be awesome Max and you should okay nothing spectacular and I can slap it here as well Max live okay nice Day level I did level recently right any four links any four links nope all right I can equip the Mana flask I can equip the life flask and we're looking for some beasts soon here you always want to go left if you have the choice okay you can see your bleeding has started next Zone especially Belly of the Beast has tons of monsters that can uh bleed you and can destroy you because if you are moving you take uh way more damage from bleeding but if you're not moving then these monsters are gonna be hitting you why is everything is here so tanky holy moly okay I'm gonna not pick up the unique we don't care about it it's not gonna be helpful to my character wisdom transportation yeah I want to become the transmutation there we go okay this guy's taking a lot of damage so am I well standing in some rotating blades easy clap all right selling all of this let's go to the next Zone unfortunately we don't have bleed removal I could try spamming alterations on this let's see if we get some chill freeze removal instant recovery chill nope we don't have it I have to go here I could use steel steel skin for bleed removal if I really wanted to okay I'm running in without uh live flask as well that's a recipe for disaster should be fine by just uh popping my life flask but the bleed removal will keep you like 100 safe in here so ideally you want bleach removal for this Zone but I cannot do this because I haven't killed enough beasts so kill enough beasts if you are intending on duty missing like one rare Beast for the Beast craft okay we get elemental damage here we get level on the lightning conduit okay got through this very quickly that's nice and so these monsters can uh bleed you they got a puncture skill which does huge huge huge amounts of damage can very easily kill you all right let's fight party gonna put a totem down or both storms we just got an overwhelming amount of damage so pretty easy Elemental resistances so we get ranked Elemental resistances these costs and Alchemy or as well as I remember so you can craft higher levels of Elemental resistances now okay maligaro foreign Malachi we're going to have the hexa support which I'm probably going to link with like wave of conviction and conductivity oh stop running out of my horrible storms all right so here I like to try to avoid the purple because the purple is the temp holy [ __ ] why okay I'm gonna go uh to town somehow I tanked every single hit from her I like to avoid the purple because the purple is the one that slows you okay she's running like an epileptic what the hell is going on he's like not attacking me she's running constantly she's like orb walking like she's like Dota 2 Pro Player like what the hell all right time for this guy okay now back to Malachi back to her instantly deleted so hex touch is gonna cost me an Alchemy I don't think I get it from a reward so that means we will need an arc all right now he's gonna go here that was insane we got some floor length boots you can check them uh they're not the colors that I want and I'm very unlikely to get the colors that I want from them so we are gonna check for some better four links which I don't see here this is a four link but I don't need a four link for the helmet at this point so this is fine um so let me just check quickly the rewards I'm getting I'm like 90 sure we are not getting hex touch but I don't even have an Alchemy to buy it so we're gonna buy it when we do uh so you need one Alchemy at this point uh so we got Spell echo which is something that you don't want to use with lightning conduit because you'd have to like somehow shock insanely fast for that to work uh we got chain increased AOE MLA Decay okay so there is nothing really that we need from this and take like multiple times or increased AOE or whatever uh and from this one uh we can potentially take some kind of a Golem so you could take like a flame Golem you could take like a lightning column for cast speed or whatever but it's not really something necessary at all so until we have an Alchemy uh we cannot use the hex touch but after I get it then I'll be able to use it okay let's grab a skill point which is gonna be here light of divinity so it's going to give me more consistent crits because it gives me a little bit of crit chance which would proc my Elemental overload more often which is a huge damage increase or some more multiplier all right and after picking up this area we're gonna head to this we're gonna grab storm Weaver and we're gonna go through live for the reservation so we can get the auras soon like extra Aura actually we don't need you we don't even need that if I pick that up then I'll be able to like fit determination as well as um Herald of Thunder potentially so I guess that's gonna be what it's useful for at this stage at least later you can choose different auras but that's just what I'm going to be using for the leveling okay I'm gonna pick up life flask just to have like a most updated live flask at all points so whenever I get that extra Beast I'll be able to craft the bleed removal flask lead removal is actually so important on the flask that a lot of the time I craft it on like a sacred life flask and then I keep that sacred life flask for the entire campaign because outside of outside of bleed my character doesn't die okay we have something potentially here I could cry I could put this on the boots uh I could put an Essence on these and see if we're gonna get something decent like movement speed so we got um do we have an open prefix no there is no open prefix so we cannot put movement speed on these so unfortunately this is not going to be useful for me so we're just gonna sell it but it's worth a try if you find like a good base with a four length that has decent colors that you need that's something that is worth using an Essence on foreign useful we're gonna pick up holy Dominion a lot of damage and res I'm gonna pick up one of these nothing useful so we're gonna sell this and uh potentially sell this sell this sell this and I'm gonna dump some stuff into the inventory here into the Slash all right and we are ready to proceed foreign holy damage so the main drawback of this skill is that it has to be used okay summon chaos Golem it has to be used on a shocked enemy right so you need some kind of an extra setup for it which makes your clear worse because you have to like use two buttons right there are ways to set it up later on so that you only press the lightning conduit and that's it there are actually many ways of doing this um and that's like when you're going into the full build but while leveling you kind of have to stick with this and uh that might be okay I cannot jump through this because I'm out of charges uh it might be like a turn off for some people but it really doesn't feel bad because you are blowing up everything so quickly like you'd have to cast whatever skill you're using twice anyway to kill like a blue pack or a rare monster rare monsters or something like that so while clearing you're actually casting pretty much the same amount of times but while fighting bosses you know doing single Target damage you're doing significantly more damage than pretty much any other skill you can pick at this point this is for spells kind of like what spectral Helix is uh for attacks okay we got a silicon wrap so this is 90 okay this is like more energy Shield actually I kind of like the blue blue green because of the onslaught that I could potentially use so I'm gonna go to the Waypoint I'm gonna grab a flask and then we're gonna also put these into the stash so I don't have to run with them all the time all right so we're gonna drop these in here we're gonna grab either Jade flask or grind flask both are pretty good I think evasion is slightly better early on uh grind flask is better later on um I'll probably still get the uh well maybe let's get the grind flask because okay this is a pretty bad because it's less duration okay this is fine so I'm gonna hold on to this uh and give this like freeze removal in case it feels really bad without it all right and then we're gonna probably go toward the stormweaver where we can pick up like extra Elemental resistances uh and that is gonna sort out our resistances for the next act so I don't really need to improve my gear or anything like that because we're just gonna cap our resist through that okay we can try to see if we can get like better colors in these proxy Shields are a little bit annoying we can kill this boss super quickly okay she just walked out of the Circle I got tons of blue packs here which is huge XP normally there aren't that many blue packs in this Zone there are a lot of blue box in the next Zone which is why the next zone is really good for leveling but I am like three levels under the level of the zone so now it's gonna be four but we're gonna level soon so we're fine if you ever are short on XP then actually not this one but the next one uh it's gonna be really really good because there's tons of like blue monsters there uh and if you can deal with the proxy Shields then it's insane XP all right we're gonna go for this or both chance transmutation foreign this is the Zone where you can gain a lot of XP I'm gonna run a little bit closer to the middle because I I want to show you also a recipe you pick up normally you want to run like on the outskirts as you can see like there's a blue pack on every one of these like uh podiums more few things so if if we find like a really good item but it's not four link that's uh what I would spend them on oh my God what are these Storm Rider okay so we didn't kill them immediately because they have a resistance to shock uh dead or lightning damage and that's why I can actually reset the zone so I'll show you how to reset the zone you basically click on the zone control with control held down and you click on new that's how you reset the zone right and then you get a fresh Zone with more monsters and you can do that as many times as you like uh it's not like World of Warcraft where you can do like we get locked out of the instances okay this is uh crazy okay you can do this as many times as you like and you can just Farm the same Zone if you want if you forgot something and you want to run through the Zone again okay why are we getting the most uh ridiculous modifiers on these blue packs the one where they have this like white outline is Arcane Weaver again Arcane buffer I mean and it stuns you so if you're killing all of these monsters like one after another it's just getting changed on again a rain buffer it's like what you're just getting chain stand okay this is the craft okay we got some boots here with uh four Blue Links that could be potentially really good let's see what we got and we have no open prefix on them again so that's a really really bad role that we got all right I'm gonna grab this huge amount of damage enemy shocked by us take five percent increase damage okay this is such an unfortunate set of modifiers and we're leveling lightning conduit as well so in a sense is going to be super super easy yep he's faced already thank you foreign foreign we can move forward whatever am I 42 level 44 Zone here so again we're staying like two levels below the level of the zone which is totally fine this is very chill that way it's gonna be left or it's gonna be down it's gonna be down okay it'll walk all the way around all right we had a nice essence of anger which is gonna give us uh Fire Res and we got an Alchemy so we can grab that hex touch okay if I want to kill the boss you can do this in two seconds literally he's just like a normal mob to me so we got this for some gc4 link again if I find like new falling boots or something we can do that all right we can go to the authority I picked up the Waypoint before it so we can log out at the end of The Zone oh my God okay Juggernaut steel infused yeah this is the deadly deadly deadly uh monster plus mod combo as well it's like face damage this is the this is what um Quinn died to in the lake actually it's like crazy like face damage spikes and the combo of that also uh I think it also hits you when it blocks or something like that crazy crazy monster so unfortunately without determination right now we don't really have a good like a defense yet so we can still die to random stuff like that all right we're gonna pick up the res and now we got all above 105 so we're gonna be capped after killing kitaba okay pick up the recipe right we got a reward here we can sell this sell this could potentially do something with the gloves if I wanted to uh you can also check for other four links in here maybe we can get like nice boots or something nope all right let's see what we get in the jewel if there's anything good we could go for a jewel socket nothing good so we can just sell this and then I can grab my hex touch from act four town uh this guy this guy Okay purchase and we get the hex touch anything else I don't think so so we put hex touch uh we'll put a wrath in here and then we can put a wave of conviction and then we can put conductivity and so the spell totem now is not going to be needed for anything I could put something in it if I really wanted to like a little bit wrath in here spell totem added lightning I could put I could still put spark in it or something right we could we could put spark and uh that's it like faster casting in it or something and that will give us like extra sources of shock for example um so we could do something like that it's not really gonna hurt me it's just gonna be like an extra damage setup uh this will not do anything yeah so probably just go faster casting uh yeah so we're gonna have uh wave of conviction here and then I'm gonna have this spark totem setup as well and I don't think I killed any beasts right I don't think I killed any beasts let me just quickly check unfortunately I don't think oh yeah still I can't craft this all right let's just continue we got only a little bit left in this act so go back to the ruins Square and we're gonna do a little bit of a portal trick again so now when we do wave of conviction we're gonna do it manually but it's going to not only apply the exposure but it's also going to okay this guy is a storm Weaver so he's like immune to shock or something or like it takes much less damage so we're gonna leave portal here and then return to it later yeah so wave of conviction is going to apply exposure and it's also going to apply the curse it's so strong that it's gonna kill most things like you can see I could just play it with conviction build now it's a very very powerful skill s one shooting rare monsters with this is so satisfying foreign from level 20 are still carrying me and they're gonna carry me for a long time let me go on DND for now all right we got magic wand let's think of the recipe as well and then this item and we don't look out in here because we left the portal so now we are going to grab the midpoint and then go back through the portal that we left so that we save time again all right so let's sell this let's ID this see there's anything good percent level of all fire skill gems we don't need that we can leave these four links in here in case it'll be useful and then we can grab another skill point uh go into I think this area will go through the live and I will go for the extra reservation maybe next and we're back in here right where the entrance to the roof is foreign alterations are pretty valuable early uh when you get into Maps one of the first priorities uh is rolling flasks flasks are very very powerful so you want to make sure that you have like well-rolled flasks and you need a bunch of alterations for that so it's worth having a lot of them early on all right and now let's kill kitava should be super simple apply exposure and the curse and just blow him up triggered Elemental overload on like every single skill that was repeatedly casting put the totem down put this play exposure Dodge vulnerability is doing and then he's dead well phased at least right put the totem horrible storms exposure Dodge out of this his face again put the totem horrible storms kill the heart and it's gonna be last phase this is exposure Dodge and I think that's it right is there one more if he comes out red then that's the last one I think that's it yes that was the last one so you can see the resistances are now going to go from 75 I'm still gonna say 75 because I'm getting minus 30 but I'm overcapped I got over 105. so that way we are still at 75 of all Elemental resistances is the chaos that's going to be suffering a little bit so if you want to deal with that I'm actually passing right next to chaos res nodes we can see how much time it took me right so played while explaining everything 2 hours and 40 minutes for the first five acts while explaining everything stopping to craft doing this very slowly and methodically uh and we died like twice right deaths uh yeah we died twice so it's very very simple um and uh let's continue with the following Acts alright so first thing we can do in this act is to do this Zone and the Twilight strand we're gonna unlock all of the skill gems and then we can finalize our setup basically by grabbing uh okay that's a big monster got a six socket we got a wand and we can grab our determination which is gonna be our defensive one of our defensive layers and it's gonna help us against physical damage because that is something that we are not really protected against right now okay so this is a yikes a lot of damage I'm taking we got some highest contracts I'm probably not gonna be bothering with doing Heist contracts here but this is uh something that is very useful at a leak start if you want to make some early currency uh Heist is very very good for that transportation okay we got this giant Soul Eater crab Soul Eater is a buff that makes a the Monster uh get more attack speed and cast speed based on uh um based on like other monsters dying around them so it can be very very dangerous if you type remaining it's gonna show you how many monsters remain in the zone we need to kill all of the monsters here there is eight of them so I probably skipped some big pack okay there's a one raw here there we go we skip this pack so we now can talk to leak for our reward but it's actually faster to just continue and come back to Lily a little bit later when she appears in the front side of the town so we don't have to like go all the way back to the boat and that happens after you kill uh tukohama tukohama like the Fireballs with totems that we're gonna kill soon thank you if you don't have your resistances capped the priority in this act is to actually cap the cold res because we're gonna fight like a boss that really requires cultures so fire us here and then later cold rest is gonna be super important okay I'm picking up some more life let's see what's on this one increased physics damage fire damage to spells at this point we can uh utilize some more magic and rare items because we have more opportunities to link them we have some feelings now and Jewelers so definitely the main thing you want to be on the lookout for is uh improvements for your gear 46. okay my life was like chill and freeze immunity which is very nice but we just killed the Beast so we probably can craft like a blade removal flask so I'm probably gonna do that okay there is a corrupted Zone here so we can craft something I'm gonna show you guys hopefully now this has been enough right since we killed the rare Beast or does it have to be a yellow one it does have to be a yellow one right we still cannot craft it this has been the longest that I've been not encountering beasts okay we can sell one of these could potentially craft it as well but I don't wanna do it because I wanna demonstrate the way to do this properly I'm gonna just put this here I'm gonna toast these out because I don't need them all right we're gonna go into our portal all right I'm just gonna destroy this guy very very easy see the boots uh we got huge life and lightning res and we have a prefix so this is probably something that I'm gonna be wearing now uh so we'll go to town talk to Lily get our determination probably which is gonna lower our damage a bit but it's gonna increase our survivability and that's the main thing that we need right now we get this Waypoint and we can go to lionize watch and Lily is going to be in the front right now so we get the reward and then we can get determination which is somewhere here there we go so we get determination I can plug it in here we can use it instead of Wrath and then we can use these boots which are going to have a lot more live and resistances we're gonna drop some resistances so we can like fix that with crafting but we can do movement speed so we have already this one discovered but this one uh costs three augmentations so we can craft it we hit 14 very very nice we got Clarity flame Dash replace these boots look at my resistances so we are not capped on fire and cold anymore so we would like to put fire and cold or some on something uh I have some chess piece there's like all blue right and I could put yeah okay so we can do this we can grab this chest piece I can actually put some quality on it and then we can either use an Essence which is gonna be like Fire Res yeah let's use the essence it's gonna be Fire Res um and then it doesn't have a suffix 3 but it has a prefix so we can craft the life threat takes care of one of our resistances and now we only need like two percent to cold res so I could craft this on the amulet for example very very easy cold res you can also type in the search called and if you have like any other options uh then you're gonna have that okay cold resistance so now we are capped on all resistances again no issues whatsoever with that if you're gonna be leveling again leave like the movement speed boots and four links and stuff like that for yourself because it's gonna be easier on your next character all right so now instead of uh wrath we're going to be using determination and I'm gonna stick to the other things that I had so we basically have the defense now if I pop the flask it's gonna be like 2.7 K armor I don't have much armor on the gear so this is what I would be looking at this is an armor es base which is the basis that we really want to be using because that way we can still get easily a lot of blue sockets but we will also have the armor which will scale our with our defense and determination is still Level One um okay I equipped the wrong thing here put the wrong thing here all right the termination is still Level One okay we can walk you through the mirror of delirium as we level the determination it's gonna of course uh increase our defense in a big big way so with the delirium you can go you can see the rewards on the bottom and you go to as many you're comfortable with I recommend trying to go to get to three and if you can depending on the Zone if it's like a long Zone then going to four and then you can stop fast forward during the campaign you're really not gonna be able to get most likely okay this guy is uh he doesn't take all of coal damage huh I mean uh lightning damage okay I'm gonna level determination we're gonna get some more strength soon from passive skill points the way we're gonna be passing which coincides with the for the requirement uh for the determination so if you're following the skill tree you should have no issues with that and we're already wearing some strength on the items because we needed that for some gems okay I think we're gonna drop the delirium here gcp Superior flask medium cluster Jewel with burning damage I mean I don't need this but you should probably pick that up and maybe sell it to someone five passes burning damage is just a usable cluster Jewel all right now we're gonna look for another trial in here we got three transmits so once you get to second part of the campaign currencies started dropping in stocks so you don't really need to focus too much on picking up like excess transmutations early on only pick up as much as you need because later on you're going to be dropping a ton of them all right let's level all of that okay so determination just keeps leveling so this is a wave with the exit but we just go past it and we're gonna get to the trial double resistances foreign to the next boss if you wanted to go faster and you were happy with your damage which you probably should be because the damage is plenty a good option would be to now for example switch to Shield charge uh you could put Shield charge plus faster attacks and one of your sockets and use that to move quicker and it would speed you up by quite a lot it's one of the fastest way of moving especially early on Shield charges very very powerful the setup I'm using is actually the slowest setup you can be using just relying on the flame Dash it's like the slowest if you wanted to go faster you can also do uh you can also do leap slam right leap slam is another decent setup but you have to be using melee weapons so you could be using like double scepters this is something that you do when you're leveling a Templar for example but which doesn't have Early Access to neither Shield charge or the lead slow so that's why we're doing this I'm keeping it simple keeping it like straight up without having to do a library just like only using the gems that we get from the quest rewards and keeping it easy and simple so that anyone can follow this thank you all right I'm gonna probably pick this up it's chaos res it's a really nice node lots of life all right it should be pretty easy oh we have to walk in circles thank you all right now we want to go down for the recipe spell damage recipe wrong two so if we find like a wand with flood damage we can craft spell damage on it and we get the book of skill we get the helmet which I probably pick up the one with armor uh let's see what's on it we've got tiny tiny bit of res it has no open suffix so I'm just gonna sell this there is nothing good on it we can check if there are any good four links on any decent bases that are like armor evasion bases I don't see anything like that and I can put the tukohama pantheon physical damage a reduction well stationary that also helps right now we're gonna grab um this point I'm gonna kill the bosses some people skip the these bosses early on that are like giving you skill points that the two bosses that we're gonna be fighting now uh in my opinion if you have to skip them then your build probably sucks and you should probably think about uh how to improve your build while leveling you're probably not using optimal skill Gems or optimal sockets or missing some skills because these bosses should be very very easy like you you face this almost instantly it's really no reason to skip it if you're doing just like regular leveling like this guy was even ghosted and uh we just obliterated him blue pack um a little bit more advanced tip as well uh certain monsters give more XP in proportion to like their health uh like you know like for example Golems like this is like stone golems they give decent amount of XP but they have a huge amount of HP as well right so it takes long to kill them uh one of the monsters that has one of the best ratios of experience to life are skeleton archers so skeleton archers are very good to prioritize if you're looking at the different packs of uh monsters that you're killing I actually got an amethyst flask uh which is really cool because and the next ACT we're gonna have a bunch of chaos damage and in this Zone you can actually pick up a recipe so I'm gonna go and show you where it is it's where alira normally would be so on the same side as the Waypoint is in relation to the road you can uh grab his Waypoint and this is just attributes there's no boss no alira nothing here some zombies and you can pick up the attribute recipe is really cool because uh it can be like much much more safe if you are doing Act 7 with this lask it's not no it's not important like in softcore but if you're playing in hardcore or if you're like trying uh out the gauntlet uh this is super super nice to have uh showing on your loot filter so that you can pick it up at this time and in this Zone again we're looking for the Waypoint and just like we would go to Oak we're going up and that's where the boss is going to be [Music] so go to the wetlands and end this Zone you kind of want to go diagonally to the top left and then you're going to encounter the wall I can pick up the Shrine maybe it's a good one nope just the life region which is fine I guess get diagonally to the top left and uh this is where most of the time entrance is going to be and if not then just simply follow it uh until you go to the other side so in this case it wasn't here so it should be on the right side unless I missed it uh which is also a possibility okay we got Gwen yeah it's on the right side here yep all right I'm gonna put this this exposure okay he instantly jumps away okay he's here and we did both of the bosses so now we can pick up our skill books so one skill book here one skill book here and we're going to grab either this or this I'm going to go here and grab the strength because I want to have the option of um leveling my determination whenever it becomes available to level without having to wait for like extra strength that I don't have right so again determination leveling I just want to make sure I keep it at the maximum level that I can if you pick up these you can sell them for Jewelers you're gonna get a bunch of Jewelers for selling six socketed items and for selling six linked items you're gonna get fusings which was actually a recent change made to the game I would still like another four link with like blue blue green uh here we can go grab this life now be a little bit tankier first and then we can pick up more damage or or our reservation or effect this live node also has some Aura effect so it's going to also give me like more armor on top of uh giving me like more uh regeneration and so on okay let's check out this huge amount of Mana region ring we're doing fine in terms of uh Mana but again if at any point if at any point like you're struggling with Mana because uh for some reason I don't know why I struggle with Mana but yeah you're not using your Mana flask at all or something you can very easily pick up some extra passives okay there is so much like chaos damage from these uh little guys check the belt strength strength nothing else right I'm gonna check for four links because I like to make my orbo storms better so I can kill things uh faster with it minion Elemental resistances okay we could potentially grab this we could potentially grab this and Link it uh however it's gonna be hard to get something better than these boots uh what else can we do uh this could potentially yeah I'm probably gonna try to roll this and roll like four blue on something else maybe on the helmet or something so I'm gonna grab this just in case do I have like a four link Helmet or four link gloves I had gloves right but these gloves have something in them so if I could have for example the helmet and try to roll this I could put Vitality in here I can put determination in here I can put wrath in the offhand because you'll need it right now and then if I can get like a four link um here with the right colors that would be awesome right so we could try to link it um we can do the quality uh we can link it and then we've got a lot of tries to get a bunch of uh blue colors I was right I would like four blue right or three blue and one green but that's not very likely okay we run out of them that's okay we gotta use our currency on something so we tried we didn't get it that's okay all right make sure I got a determination on foreign okay this zone is a kind of annoying Zone I always spend the more time here than I'd like okay I'm gonna do the essence okay I think they both actually died there as well oh no he's here what okay all right fortunately we didn't spend too long in this zone so it's all good grab the Waypoint grab the shrine because the blue monsters were level 48 and a level 49 Zone so we don't need to level too much I'm just gonna be leaving orb of storms okay we got a chaos could potentially reroll something and if you're playing in a trade League you could buy something for it but if we were to use it in ssf fashion you just reroll an item that has really good sockets for you or a really good base but doesn't have good mods if it's like boots that could be super good but you cannot put movement speed on them or something you could probably reroll something like that I focus on killing the blue bugs grab a recipe do their little pillars I'm gonna put the totem down so it helps me here and then I'm gonna grab this life grab the chromatic item okay we got a item with a fractured modifier I didn't mean to drop it you can identify it okay this is gonna do a big chaos damage explosion so I I have elected to not die that's why we dozed out of it this has like a little bit of life on it it's not really particularly great the life roll on it is very low the base is very bad doesn't have the right sockets it's not a base that we would want to equip because we can't draw majority blue sockets on it lightning conduit leveling up double checking my resist yeah we're 93 all resistances so we're perfectly safe and here I can show you like a little animation skip because normally when you finish this and you light the torch you have to wait for the boat to arrive and then when the boat arrives then the guy jumps out of the boat but you can actually skip that a little bit if you go outside of the range so what you do is you click on this click on this jump back jump back and he's already there without before the boat arrives so before the boat arrived before there's the animation of him jumping out of the boat you can already talk to him if you just do what I just did see like jump a little bit away from him stick it outside of the range and he kind of automatically spawns there are a lot of different skips like that you can check out my YouTube I have a video with almost all of the skips that you can consistently do there are a lot of different skips that you can do with smoke mine something something can do with flame Dash you can do that with blink Arrow as well uh with lightning warp if you have like a sufficiently long distance that you can cover with the movement skill then you can do a lot of Skips something like Dash or Frost blank doesn't really have many skips that you can do with them but things like smoke mine or blink Arrow have a lot all right we're gonna put a totem down I'm gonna put an orb exposure and blow him up and now he's faced and this is like very stressful for new players I'm gonna try to do with minimal movement so you can see I haven't moved yet I haven't moved a single time it's it's more scary than it is dangerous people really like panic in here because it's such a confined space but again I'm gonna try to just not move as much as I can as long as nothing is hitting me yeah I got hit by one thing but again I didn't move at all and I'm totally fine okay now I'm gonna actually portal because I don't know the flasks so I'm gonna have like no Mana no live recovery so we just portal out recover the flasks and as you can see there's any grace period and vulnerability if you don't move you actually are invulnerable at this time okay easy uh scepter Ruby rang boots and we can go to town and the next Waypoint is unlocked and we can pick up the pantheon and I can identify these items sell them to the vendor check the boots nothing special this and we can check if there are any four links since I think we leveled from the last time I checked okay we got four link boots but they're gonna be mostly green when we try to roll them so nothing useful for me there we go act seven so again in this act I'm gonna try to show you the right order of doing everything I'm gonna drop this in here uh look for a four link with the right colors that I need nothing available so we just move on I can drop these currencies actually in the stash we can drop a lot of them here I'm gonna just pick up the Essences because I want to see like what I have available in terms of the Essences but all the other stuff I don't necessarily need at all so I'm just gonna clean up the inventory a little bit and uh go like this foreign massive see what I got on the boots uh very low life and good resistances but it's not even four linked um there's a quest here that you can do for a flask uh we can pick it up I can show you the options that you have so you talk to Whalum and he gives you these options so from these probably the best options would be crit flask if you're playing a crit build a garage if I didn't have grind already Jade and then quartz flask for phasing so here I would probably pick the Jade flask and just have two big defensive flasks and that way now I can like I'm I'm super used to spamming all the flasks and uh if you're not then later on you can use like currencies that like allow you to um to use a flask and that like adjacent flasks activate or for example they are used at full charges for me it's just like second nature to press all the flasks and uh I have a bit of a different setup because I'm playing with my right hand on the keyboard because I'm left-handed so for me it's like very easy to press up to four flasks at the same time which makes me uh just much more tanky right because I have the flask up time all the time right so if I'm using all these flasks then I'm gonna be very tanky because it's a huge amount of armor and evasion that you get from them you can also get really good rolls on them which will further increase their effectiveness but it's very nice when you get into the end game when you finish the story and you can like automate them with the different currencies of like an kindling uh orbs and uh installing orbs so as you can see I'm going straight down uh into this Zone this is the order you want to do it in you don't even want to go to the other Zone first even though it tells you to I think in the quests if you like actually read the quests and don't bother reading the quest just do things in the right order and you don't even need to like pick up the quests right you just talk to the NPC after you finished it doesn't matter if you talk to him before or not and here we also want to look for um what's it called we want to look for the trial right which is going to be here these monsters are very dangerous holy [ __ ] why is this guy not dying huh that was an insane monster all right let's see what we got on the jewelry here I don't see anything particularly great okay this is kind of what we were looking for this book which indicates the trial here this is a super Rippy set of monsters that I'm encountering foreign second out of these now we want to go to the other Zone [Music] through the sarcophagus thank you I recommend changing like your hotkeys to whatever you want it to be like just be completely like free to change them however you want it's a much much much better to play with like a custom setup increase charge recovery removes curses on use why not and we can sell all the other crap I can put this flask in here I'm gonna remove this high level so I'm checking for a four link I mean this is a four link but it's like a bad base I mean technically we can get uh good colors on this I have some chromatics uh we do have a couple chromatics so we can do this uh I would like to have a green one I tried one green is what I would like to get okay we're gonna try to get one green on this thing and then we're gonna be able to swap a few things okay we go back to the crossroads all right foreign pass through here so go the other way thank you okay crazy amount of XP when I open uh the map grab the Waypoint here in case we die or DC or something we got a lightning damage crash now so if we find a good wand with like spell damage or increased lightning damage or flat we get a lot of options to craft it probably when I use this flask for the chaos resistance now since we're gonna have some chaos damage here foreign he's gonna do his thing here black venom and then we can portal and the back with silk grab the key and keep going so in the chamber since level two there is another trial which we need for the lab so we're on the lookout for the book icon and probably maybe I want to go for the or maybe I want to go for the damage now we'll go for the damage and then effective ailments foreign so we can do next slab when we encounter it basically beginning of next ACT we're gonna do that lab I wanted to jump out of there because those exploding Corpses we can look for a good one lighting damage fire damage to spells so it has flood damage to spell so we can't craft that anymore I think and there's a little skip in here so if you stand here and aim like next to the Rocks you can actually jump that I can have it wait it's like this hello hello for some reason we can't jump through this maybe you can only use the blink Arrow yeah I think maybe you can only use Blink Arrow I was pretty sure that I did it before with uh this skill but oh wait I'm pressing the wrong button am I yeah I'm pressing the wrong button I'm [ __ ] I was I was spamming wave of conviction okay okay that explains this I also have no uh I was not casting it because I didn't have all this attack without moving so I would I didn't know like why my character is not doing it uh so yeah always attack without moving super important thing to have because otherwise your character is just like trying to go somewhere I can show you right if I unselect this if I try to cast here my character has to run and then it casts but if I have it selected that doesn't matter how far away from myself I point I will just cast at the maximum distance that I can so that is a super important and you can sometimes uh make you run into something you did not want to run into I've got some axes there Russian Fields these are dangerous boss at the end of this we're like couple levels uh below the level of the zone uh he applies his bleed a little physical damage from bleed and he gives a Pantheon uh Power that would be super useful to fight him but unfortunately you get it only after you beat him so we're just gonna try to overwhelm him move damage yep got the bleed and name on me but we're tanky enough to survive it right we got determination another level on it I'm gonna pick up all the fireflies another pretty dangerous boss because uh he does a lot of damage if you're not moving and he does more damage the lower uh your HPS it's not a problem okay let's go for the rest of the fireflies what I've got some augmentations I don't know if I have enough of them because in case I find a good pair of boots I want to have the option of crafting movement speed okay we got all the fireflies so now the one thing that remained in this zone is to pick up the recipe all right I didn't pick it up there we go that's a fire damage recipe okay thank you so right now I'm going to look for chromatic orbs because I want to fix my gear a little bit I need chromatics for that we're gonna grab the damage and then we're gonna go for increased effect of non-damaging ailments later we are going to be picking up also guaranteed Chill from the Elementalist and that will allow me to increase like just effective non-damaging ailments uh applies to primarily like shock and chill and freeze and those are going to be very very useful like chill is like another defensive layer that we're gonna have okay we got cold damage Rank 2 the Waypoint these things like do like physical and Chaos damage so it's very nice to have this uh chaos blast that I can just keep spamming as I'm running and uh this makes me tank here for some reason couldn't jump there or both binding that's a very nice thing to have allows you to just pick a nice base and force uh uh four link on it right so I could very easily do that with some nice bass that I find right here we got all the skill points so I can simply pick that up right now get one skill point here we got two skill points from this guy and that means we're picking up this and this and we can also go for increased damage increase effect of non-damaging ailments uh from here increase damage of non-damaging ailments yeah so this increases our shock effect and as well as chill um I'm not taking the necklace of skipping that reward I got Quest I mean um I'm gonna pick up these boots and check what they have on them they get a little bit of life nothing special so we're gonna sell this sell this sell this and maybe there's like a base to force uh four link with the right colors like a helmet so if I could have a helmet with like energy Shield evasion but unfortunately it requires decks so maybe just like pure energy Shield and we can force something on it increase the light radius or doesn't have even an empty suffix okay this is the situation that I talked about before in trade League you should you shouldn't do this probably but here I'm gonna do this uh so I can craft some res on this and grab like fires on this um and then I also want to get at least one chromatic so I can put uh a green socket on this right I would like to have a green socket on this you can also search shops for chromatics if you like really released or struggling and you really really need a chromatic and just search a bunch of shops and uh some of them are probably gonna have chromatics in terms of purchasing chromatics uh chromatic is actually going to cost you Jeweler orbs so I could maybe try with some there we go so this is what I wanted so I'm gonna craft Fire Res on this and I'm gonna grab another four link basically uh so let's craft fire rest you can actually grab like a bigger firelesscraft with the Alchemy if I really wanted to guarantee like a good roll and then we have orbo storms with elemental prolif with Onslaught and then I can put also but I have added lightning damage somewhere I don't have added lightning damage in any of these other lightning spark faster casting I got a faster casting I'm gonna add the added lighting here and then I can always go to act one which has a vendor that is going to have the gems leveled because that's where they were originally found so they're going to be leveled here and I can grab added lightning in here with that setup and that means we can drop the second drop them in the stash for example in case we'll need that and we can just move on and now we got more damage on my orb of Storms and that's very nice because I can rely on the orb of storms to kill the packs by itself and proc Onslaught for me so I don't have to cast lightning conduit at all it's like completely just a single Target skill like when I see a rare or a magic pack right but other than that I just Poplar orb of storms and I don't have to always cast the other skill even there's just kind of like a habit now and I just do it anyway okay we got a shrine foreign like above the entrance if you look at the entrance where it is it's usually like above it in this direction so you don't have to like go search here or go search here it's it's usually like an in this type this is relation to the entrance okay so um cancerous flask is going to be very nice and useful here get a bunch of Jewelers orbs some chromatics the shocks are spreading very nicely with the elemental proliferation so like my Superior innervate okay innervate is a an ability that would be useful if I wasn't using an ability that cannot shock because um lighting conduit itself cannot shock right that's the drawback of it it's a lighting skill that cannot shock that's why I am running um that's why I'm running uh the support genes I'm running like Elemental Focus right because it cannot inflict Elemental ailments but we don't mind for this one okay this is strengthen and Mana region cold res uh we could potentially where this as well okay like individual spiders separated one by one uh not really interested in pursuing those okay here another thing I can do is also pick cases from this so this is gonna give me a reduced effect of curses on me as well as extra chaos resistance she's gonna make me tankier for the beginning of the next act as well right another level of lightning conduit the drum just keeps scaling and the more gem levels you have especially on spells it's true to an extent on attacks as well but for spells it's super super important chaos damage thank you just gonna go kill this blue pack here tons of SP and we are killing things so quickly foreign kill it in few phases yep uh that's a lot of damage you can put the totem put this and he's dead I'm gonna go Dodge the explosions for a second let's see if it dropped anything good um no I don't think so no where once or anything like that so we just pass and next ACT that was super quick and easy I want to grab some levels this guy has like a goose no that's a kiwi bird what magic blue stone ring or rare other okay it has extra rest there's extra life extra decks and we also has an empty prefix and craft like Mana or energy Shield or something on this essence of greed that got just one solid okay we can throw some Essences on jewelry for example if we get like two stone rings that's a potential use of them uh also boots with good sockets you always are on a lookout for like more movement speed unless you have like maximum movement speed right now I could have like 25 movement speed maybe even 30. um we don't have that yet so we could definitely try to search for some better boots my horrible Stones watches these big bears that is really nice all right we're gonna do the lab now since we just came to this town so it's available it's like a 55 with two levels below it's totally fine I'm gonna just sell this and then I'm gonna see if maybe there is a good two Stone ring another good two Stone ring and we can throw these Essences like the one with decks for example it's very good to throw on that we didn't get anything good but that's fine we just we can just keep trying um and then we can check if we got any good boots for example I can try to throw this cold res Essence on it if there's like a four link uh pair of boots or something like that not available here uh comparing this to how much rest I got here this is like fire lightning lightning so it'll be fire lightning lightning if I can craft cold res on this there's unfortunately no suffix South need cold restaurant somewhere else I don't want to lose the cold rest so I'm just gonna hold on to it and keep it as it is I'm just gonna dump this in here and go to our lab all right level 55 two levels below we're almost almost one level below this is the wrong way so we go into the other entrance we pick some chaos threads and this is a really good uh set of nodes to pick here because usually like usually you're going to die to a combination of things like curses like really hard hitting chaos damage really hard hitting physical damage things like that are what usually is going to kill you like things like ignite and shock right so uh that's why we're going for this chaos resin the curse rest because it it affects uh in huge part like the main things that are actually going to kill you all right he should face now I have actually pretty recently high amount of life normally when I'm leveling I have like 1000 life here so I'm actually feeling pretty safe the way I'm leveling this character is like so safe foreign the wrong way so we have to go to the other entrance foreign I have no idea what's in it sometimes it's decent oh actually never mind it's like a puzzle there and stuff okay never mind I don't want to waste the time on that okay I'm not gonna open strongboxes here because if I get Frozen and it's a nasty combination of modifiers and monsters then I could potentially die to this so we are not gonna do that now check out the scepter uh nothing super good all right let's kill the big boss usually it's a good idea to like take time and look at uh what's your weakest piece of gear try to figure that out and then it's going to be easier for you to make upgrades so for me my weakest piece of gear would be like the belt is definitely very weak the Rings are very weak as well because they're just magic one mode items so you just have the right and place it that I want oh my God I'm getting hit by every poison dart the pain I would love to have a more movement speed at this point but uh we're working what we got with what we got foreign let's check if this is the correct way yep it is nice so getting like all the keys here okay not really intentional but that's just I just didn't want to like wait and take time to kill all of the other uh additional stuff to reduce the difficulty since we have like such overwhelming amount of damage you can just get all the extra keys and we can pick up something that is good you can pick up wands and see what we got on them so what do we got um ks.multi fire damage to spells Mana okay nothing special nothing special all right let's pick up this movement speed if you haven't been hit recently I'll take the movement speed that's nice and then we have options of either picking shape or winter for chill immediately really nice defensive thing or exposure which is going to give me a more single Target damage and then give me the best third uh option so like I would say shaper winter is probably slightly better than Mastermind of Discord at this stage but I want my third Pantheon to be hard of Destruction because that one is definitely better than any of these three so we're passing here because I want the heart of Destruction sooner because that's going to be AOE which is going to increase the clear so when you're doing your early Maps you're gonna have like the maximum amount of clear speed because of the AOE plus the max amount of single Target damage you're never gonna struggle with that so that's definitely a good way to approach it all right Next Level we're gonna get the last scale stress in most cases that we need is actually like in this Zone because these zombies leave a chaos uh Legion ground which is pretty dangerous if you don't move out of it quickly if you don't keep up your flasks if you don't have a good amount of region from somewhere there are many different ways of dealing with this but the best is just like get some chaos res and keep moving chaos res used to be not very much needed it used to be like an optional thing you can get for your character and nowadays that's not the case anymore a lot of people are still like living in the past and thinking that they don't need chaos res and then they're dying and they don't understand why and a lot of the time it's not having chaos resistance which is definitely necessary and mandatory just as Elemental resistances are you don't need it as early and you don't need as much of it but you definitely need some unless you know unless you want to die hundreds of times in a leak start as some people do I guess that's a personal choice for some people but it's a much better playing experience if you get some chaos resistance so for example if I were to get some extra Rings now to craft on I should probably actually be buying Amity strings and uh dumping Essences on those to get some decent amethyst rings for guaranteed chaos res and here we're gonna grab uh I can either go for the live or I can go for the auras here I can go for this last case rest so I'm gonna go for the Asylum and then here we can get like corrupted blood immunity later it's very very nice to have as well it is a notoriously difficult boss one of the more difficult bosses and entire campaign but you're gonna see it's not really a problem when you're just doing Giga damage okay she actually did all the damage to me too but we won't shoot her okay we're gonna pick up this what is this conjuru gloves that have decent resistances and an Opti empty prefix so this is a nice pair of gloves that has like double Rez it's like 30 something res so better than what I have here and I can craft life on it as well uh so I could potentially try to um link it we don't have any more Jewelers with me but we can try that in a moment and in this Zone if you wanna do it quickly and efficiently you wanna stick to the left side always stick to the left side and that's going to be the fastest way of getting to picking up the ankh item and afterwards you still stick to the left side and that's going to be the fastest way to get to the ritual every single time foreign nice now we got the resurrection side nice foreign modifier which is chill and freeze immunity foreign corpses uh corpse detonation is like one of the most dangerous mechanics in the entire game because the damage of it is based on the life of the monsters and life of the monsters can be very very high so the base damage of that is like insanely huge when you compare it to like regular regular spells that can do let's say a thousand damage to you and the corpse explosion can do let's say five times that if there are like multiple corpses around they're gonna be all exploded and you can just take absolutely astronomical damage that there's just no way of uh mitigating all of the time that's why a lot of builds uh make it a point to have some way of destroying corpses whether it's like shattering them because they freeze them or any other way foreign okay this is not gonna be there's no exit from this so we just go back it's a little little dead end foreign unique I got some quiver we don't care for it you're gonna learn that in this game uh most of the items are worthless for like new players usually tend to extremely overestimate like and like over value items because to you as a new player it would be like a like a oh what a thing that's a new thing I've never seen that before wow that's cool but uh usually it's not a good item there are rare exceptions and you know it takes time to learn to evaluate items and you can go to one of my videos that I have for price checking items to learn how to like evaluate items but for Unix and things like that you want to use like awakened Poe trade which is the app that I mentioned before which is very useful and here you see like first item okay so we are in zone level 58 uh rare monsters can drop items of levels plus two so you can see this item has now orange background and on my filter it's not going to be probably the case on your root filter but my filter indicates whenever items are viable for chaos recipe so chaos recipe is a vendor recipe where you sell a full set of items basically everything you could equip on your character so like one pair of each thing with like two weapons or a 200 weapon and they all have to be rare items and if they are between level item level 60 and 74. so you can check that by pressing out and seeing this level item level 60. then you're gonna get a chaos orb if they are all unidentified then you're gonna get 2K absorbs and if they are all 20 quality and then you also get additional chaos orb so for example unidentified and 20 quality would give you three chaos orbs right for doing one recipe like that this is a really good way of acquiring currency uh at the beginning of the league and just to get your character going until you can have like a stronger characters that can do content and like Drop more currency uh then it's uh you know comparably like worth per time invested doing the case recipe in the beginning is really good to do it and it's gonna help you purchase like basic items that you're going to need so if I find a full set I'm going to show you how to do it I'm gonna Swap this flask we don't need the chaos res anymore okay so we gotta I'm gonna pick up this Shield as well uh I am gonna level I'm gonna identify these though because I still wanna check stuff for myself there are definitely lots of meaningful upgrades I could make okay we got a chest weapon we can pick up the craft go back to The Hideout of I mean to down grab a skill book from this guy or girl so okay uh this is level 59 I'll identify this oh actually a lot of life and detection but do I need the strength from this uh that's the question that's the question do I need the strength I do need the strength from this so we cannot wear this unless I would craft a strength on it which is an option so we can type strength and it's going to cost me two alchemies or it's gonna cost me one augmented this is enough oh actually never mind it is not enough so I would have to spend the scour as well uh actually it's not enough so we're just gonna drop it here for maybe a later use uh then we've got also this has a lot of strength does it have an empty suffix it doesn't it has some Fire Res it's like fire lightning uh is something we could play with around with later as well so normally I have like um star stubs but it's set for like armor weapon helmet gloves boots and jewelry I'm just gonna drop it all here uh so that I can show you the recipe right so we got weapons uh I'm gonna drop this in here and I'm just gonna need the remaining pieces and then I'm gonna be able to show you the chaos recipe let's not forget my skill point and let's sell everything here let's dump it in the stash tab grab another skill book here and if I wanted to I can grab Maybe chaos res no no case threads Rings all right uh what was I picking now in terms of the passive I was picking up some live so I can grab some more live or we can grab the aura I'm gonna pick up some life First Armor regen strength this is gonna be helpful it's gonna allow me to actually with this strength I'm able to switch the amulet uh for this one I'm pretty sure yep we are able to switch and this is 20 Cold res is this gonna be enough gold res it's not going to be enough uh resistances I could swap one of the fire resistances for something else um but I'm gonna keep it for now okay we'll be on the lookout to swap this item and we can go to the older side of this act don't forget to turn the auras on if you like unequipped items okay I accidentally clicked on the ladder again all right let's quickly go through this our damage is overwhelming let's kill the blue pack we are Level 56 and 56 Zone uh but we're gonna soon run into some some higher level zones higher level determination let's see how much armor I have now okay four thousand uh four hundred when we pop the flask it's something it's not great because we don't have that much armor on gear but for now it's okay which doesn't have like enough uh strength and dexterity to evasion like especially is really good early on but we don't have the dexterity to use it to use the armor with lots of evasion okay this guy just drive by died kill this I don't need to kill the run out of corruption you don't need this early right now we're gonna grab this skill point so here we've got porcupines which are very deadly you need either some avoidance or high resistances like you need like Grace or determination uh or the defensive flasks at the very least to not die to these okay we can pick up also this manner in life that puts me at 2000 and grab a Val orb okay I'm gonna pick up this helmet for chaos recipe there is also a tool called chaos recipe enhancer you can search that on the poe Reddit or Google it this is something that other people are using as well to do the ks recipe faster for me personally having the system of like having multiple tabs uh is good as well but of course you need more tabs to do that but the more efficient you can be with it the more currency you can make early on and it's gonna help you get a good start in the league all right now this annoying boss so you have to constantly move here in this fight because of the orbs chasing you foreign belt and the gloves not some extra stuff for the chaos recipe the hardest things to get are usually the jewelry but worst case scenario I'm just gonna craft some to show you right this gives me a skill point as well as Conker's efficiency Jewel which is very nice uh for some extra Mana reservation efficiency so you can reserve more auras uh okay so now we're probably gonna go for this reservation and that was going to allow me to add the extra Herald back into my auras we go back to the bath house and this is where one of the trials is also located so it's going to be somewhere on the left side this is going to be like top left here all right let's just quickly move through all of this and this pick up the recipe and we got the trail down so only uh I think we have two trials left now because uh we just run the lab so for the next Lab we got two trials left right lunaris Concourse so now we're gonna kill the and one guy the lunaris temple uh Guardian guy and after that we kill lunaris and Solaris and we are gonna be in the blood aqueducts not gonna pick up that helmet already have a helmet for the chaos recipe but normally you would you just want as many items as possible and then you sort them out later ridiculous damage level up the faster casting we are Level 57 in a 59 zone so doing fine a couple levels behind the level of the Zone that's normal okay three fusings okay this is madness so many different arch nemesis modifiers on these monsters foreign goes hard man so many Magic packs all right we got a waypoint here on large Temple level 2. so in the lunaris temple just like in the lunaris temple in act three uh once you find like where the stairs are where the first set of stairs is um it's gonna tell you roughly the direction of the remaining ones it's always going to be like in the same corner so the stairs here are gonna be somewhere obvious there's going to be now up or left like it's going to be top corner where we want to go okay so it's actually gonna be not here it's gonna be yeah it's gonna be here okay this is a Mana siphoner which is very annoying Jesus Christ I'm encountering the craziest combinations of uh arch nemesis monsters very scary uh now we're gonna grab extra money reservation here oh and here you can check um so you have two flowers and one flower so you want to go in the direction where one flower is and in act three it's like two cards versus one card and you want to go in the Direction one one of these cards is foreign leveling the determination so far my strength is keeping up with it of the requirement if need be we can pick up some extra strength from the passive skill tree no problem okay let's uh use the wave of conviction yeah we got boots uh since it's a four link I'm gonna identify this could be potentially very good for me it's not but could have been I'm gonna drop it and uh Kale's recipe place that we made here so now I only need rings and amulet right and then we're gonna have a full set all right now we go the Promenade I'm coming it might be useful to make that a rare item for the ks recipe to to just demonstrate it it's not normally what you want to do but just as a demonstration I might do that and we are very very overdue like some decent uh decent movement speed boost so we got a map at my first map and I haven't found boots with more than 10 movement speed that's uh very unforged all right let's set this up set this up and blow them up all right very easy we got the ring and um acceptor boots I mean the boots are gonna be not the right colors at all that I need but I could sacrifice a couple of sockets but they're not great game blood aqueducts decent level to defend to like catch up on levels like decent area to catch up on levels but in my case it's not needed foreign we are like three levels below the level of the Zone which is totally fine to progress if I wanted to be like more powerful I could do that but the character is powerful enough thank you awesome now we just run through the town I might check for maybe some decent boots uh maybe characters ring no cases ring let's check for a base for boots we could try we could try these and then we could try linking them if we get something decent right so I can grab this we can quality them first and then we can try life Essence one of these we've got 20 movement speed and then uh that's gonna be pretty good because we also can craft res on it and we have big life right so we can craft the lightning Rays on it and it's gonna be uh pretty decent it's gonna be uh it's gonna make me faster than I was until now uh I just need to grab a couple extra sockets on this and then in terms of the colors we can I couple of red sockets this is fine as well maybe right flame Dash because we can put like flame Dash in here and then I can put stuff in here and we need a lightning res right if I equip this thing that's missing actually all resistances are capped uh but lightning is the lowest so I can put a lightning res on this item so we've got this and we've got determination Vitality clarity and we got slightly better boots we don't have this movement speed here but even with this movement speed from the end shot this is equal but in combat if I have been hit recently then this is better right so we're going to be moving a little bit uh faster now we can dump this we can put this in the chaos recipe uh put this here and I think we are good to proceed so we impro we slightly improved now we also have like extra strength on it an extra Mana uh which is going to make it easier on my Mana region I'm gonna be able to enable the extra Herald do I have a socket for it I do right so got Harold of Thunder here we can put this and then let's see if I can already enable it I kinda can uh might be a bit low in terms of Mana but we should be fine so we're gonna have Harold constantly going off because we are shocking all the time so it's some extra clear extra single Target damage alterations extra reservation and next node is extra reservation and effect of Horus which is very very powerful foreign the order in which you want to do things to be efficient is first you want to find the Waypoint and a ritual thing like they're in the quest where you're like sitting in the middle you can also do betrayal um I have a full guide on betrayal the thing about oh my God okay I think a lot of betrayal is that uh it gives you a lot of experience so it's really nice to just do whatever it doesn't matter what you're doing uh even if you're not thinking about it like just clicking stuff uh it's gonna give you a tons of XP so picking up Waypoint step number one then we want to find the ritual Zone thank you there it is so we got defeat the mummies okay all right and after that you wanna portal and grab the blue bottle from the quest here we can grab a wand you can check if there's anything good on it spell damage lightning damage to spells it's not too bad and now we're grabbing the blue bottle and we're going back into the portal and I can actually leave a portal here probably and we want to go to the right side of this Zone I'm probably gonna be below this right if I'm looking at it correctly yep you want to go into the oasis every now and then it's good to check your levels make sure you're not too under leveled or over leveled okay we got breast which that's a quantity Shield what else does it do it's quantity and block and the curses yeah we don't really need it could sell it for Alchemy shards and if it's a good roll you know in trading you can sell it to some people it is used all right who's this guy you always want to make sure he sees you and he attacks you and then he's gonna move if you're too far he's not gonna attack you and he's not gonna move so he's need to he needs to attack you and then he's gonna move to the next position he's gonna let him attack you you can dodge it of course and then you move to the next spot here we drop this we drop oh did I hit him even should face now it's gonna give me a bunch of Jewelers orbs all right we can pretty much sell everything here pick up a skill point and we can continue from the vastiri desert Waypoint we just go up to the north and I can pick up some cast speed actually after this so I can grab this and then I can grab patch of cast speed we'd also go toward a more life and strength right we can go like down the tree here or here we can grab like more life we've reduced Mana cost of skills there are a lot of options you can go from here you can go toward the third lightning mastery which is going to allow you higher maximum effect of shock or you can do shock proliferation and therefore you can swap your original mastery you can you can like replace the gem right you can replace the Elemental proliferation Gem and do something else like for example chain on your orbo storms nice and here yeah I think I'm gonna go for cast speed probably cast speed Mana regenerate you can never have enough cast speed okay that is a crazy [ __ ] Happening Here okay we can grab extra XP from this guy just for interacting with betrayal if you're interested in how the trail works it's a very complicated lead mechanic but I have another long video on my YouTube channel about the Betrayal mechanic where I basically go through a full run of like empty completely reset Mastermind board until like full super Juiced optimized uh Mega rewarding Mastermind board uh we have to go actually to the trial here okay let's pick it up foreign and now we can continue so there is another uh crazy bleed uh Zone coming up pretty soon so I'm gonna see if we can craft a bleed removal flask let's see if I go to Menagerie uh actually I don't have a flask with me that I want to craft on because I'm level 60 so we can craft on a Divine Life flask now which would be like your endgame flask I can grab this and then and this lady is gonna know they are actually gonna have the flasks I actually don't see a Divine plus here so okay let's pick up Divine flask when we see them and then let's pick up like a Maxwell chaos res ring when we see it as well and here maybe we can see we have like a good pair of boots or something I could drop this on actually boots or what else what else should I craft maybe Helmet or something else actually never mind not boots anymore with decent boots for now okay so let's be on lookout for okay Divine Life flask that's what I wanted Let's Travel here uh do I have some glass blowers I don't have any glass blowers okay tell me I can craft this now uh yes I can okay so we can put Divine Life flask we can select ceiling and then kill everything that's here so challenging and then we got corrupted blood immunity and then we can also augment that and this gives me okay we got reduced amount recovered but 50 of the recovery is applied instantly so this is a pretty good flask that will be able to just Spam if we are in trouble and it's gonna remove bleed which is very very powerful and very important uh okay I can drop this doesn't need it and then we can go continue through the tunnel okay so we got a pretty good live flask setup right now when I skip uh this league mechanic this is a rig Wheels item okay not particularly important right here we're gonna pick up the crafting recipe and we're gonna do both uh side quests in here so one is gonna be this fight which is pretty annoying fight we have to fight inside of tornadoes and you end up taking a lot of damage so these Sparks are also helping me shock uh so I can cast my ability uh the game crushed okay so we had a game Crush I just loaded back in and I'm gonna go back to query and continue the boss fight from Where We Are so let's get back in there the Zone minimap reset because of the game crash okay I'm taking big damage oh we gotta build boots belt this go back to hideout I can ID this belt see if there's anything better than I had on it I could craft cold res on it and it's gonna have less strength so we're just gonna drop it and uh chaos recipe thing actually we have enough of these things okay we picked up the feather so we got a skill point this skill point is gonna go toward the cast speed back to query now we go to the right side because usually um the next Zone The Refinery is gonna be somewhere in here on the right side sense of Rage uh that allows me to put some strength on an item with it that's pretty useful it's good for example to craft jewelry like rings you can grab like a chaos res ring and put either like strength or decks Essence on it and it's gonna help you with your attribute requirements it's gonna guarantee a decent modifier or an item and we're going to be able to roll something with it okay we got this boss in here okay okay let's kill him now check out what's on this Jewel uh minion accuracy speed not useful [Music] and back to query oh so in this next Zone that we're walking into uh the belly of the Beast again huge potential for enemies bleeding you and just completely destroying you so that's why I made sure to craft the bleed flask before this this is a Zone where it's a lot of characters were just randomly die like you just run and you just randomly instantly evaporate um and that's gonna be likely like physical damage and bleed so if you want to like select this bleed uh Pantheon for it the soul of relax it's very very powerful for this foreign foreign especially blue packs of these monsters if you get like shocked and ignited at the same time and bled at the same time is you're dead a lot of the time okay we've got more cast speed in here thank you okay in here the order doesn't matter I just go usually like this okay I can't move in here getting stuck all right so we just tucked it down not really manipulating the board right now I'm just grabbing the XP okay I'm at the string I should I guess use these they're getting these items uh for a reason [Music] and amulet another amulet again after I'm out of this Zone it constantly tries to kill you we can check what we got on this jewelry foreign Jesus um okay so we can unveil something on this ring we got like strength uh this is a prefix prefix suffix suffix okay so it's suffix to unveil so we can unveil like some resistances uh they can potentially go to town Actually I don't even need to go to The Hider I'm just so used to doing it and uh hideout uh so it's probably gonna be like some rest cold and Chaos res let's say so that'll be one option I didn't want to drop cold rest but here let's see I'm missing some lightning if I swap these rings then I'm not missing anything and we are gaining kale threads and we are gaining uh evasion but we are losing no actually not losing life really okay so we are still uh having a balanced resistances okay let's see what we can unveil on this amulet we got the victim non-dimaging Airlines that's pretty good lightning and Chaos threads is pretty good spectral walls that's actually pretty good early on um so obviously I would like the resistances I could do like lightning and Chaos in here we also have live we also have strength on this I'll probably have not enough strength right I don't have actually enough strength let's look at the resistances still all capped and we're getting 66 kale stress so this is pretty pretty strong uh very nice unveils in here so my chaos res is going to be super huge and I can dump rest of this stuff uh and here and not worry about it I got a bunch of Scrolls as well yeah okay we're good okay so we like almost kept our chaos res um we're gonna need some more resistances still but I still have a lot of items to upgrade right so we're just gradually upgrading our items uh more and more and the fact that this has strength is also pretty useful strength also gives you extra life which is pretty important thank you when it comes to the last lab uh most people prefer to do them before they kill uh kitaba and akhtan because your resistances are going to be still not reduced right so you're gonna have a and good time with resistances you're not gonna have to worry about that so I probably would recommend doing that as well in that order so like right before you kill kitaba uh let's say like level 65 or something you can go and do your last lab if you are feeling up for it if not you can level a little bit more actually and do that as well there are a lot of good places to like over level slightly in Act 10 if you really want to do that especially if you're like playing in hardcore or something okay I think I'm just gonna power through this okay my orb of stones expired there we go uh nice okay let's kill this guy now okay I'm so slow okay the guy runs away super easy unique wood splitter we can check out the wand and we can sail to oriath for the last Act what's on the wand uh Mana region I'll damage with attacks not useful you there we don't need to talk to Baron it says talk to him you don't need to he's gonna wait for you in town anyway we're gonna have another quest uh for skill points coming up and it's going to be a little bit out of the way so we can use a portal trick again to do it okay we got fortification thing here talk to Leo get some XP still only level 61 so I should be killing a lot of monsters here because now we need to catch up on XP I mean I don't necessarily need to I can probably kill everything without uh any leveling so we're going to leave the portal here and we're gonna go to the right side right now until we find a bridge and then Waypoint and then we go back to town and we'll take the portal and that allow us to save some time um let me see what I'm picking now next from the passive so my options are basically uh oh I can also go for I can go for dark arts this is a very powerful uh powerful node as well that I haven't picked yet so we can go through here and pick up the dark arts ravaged Square we go down I'll go to the control blocks or whatever that zone is called I think it's control blocks yep next level of lightning conduit that's huge like every level you're getting uh right now on your spells is gonna definitely like feel noticeable because not only you're getting like a you're getting like the increase of the flat amount of damage but it's also getting multiplied right it's like the total number of damage that you're getting per level up usually ends up like being higher and higher and higher because you're getting more and more multipliers and increased damage as time goes on this guy can randomly one shot you don't worry if you die uh he's or she is known to one shot people like this did like no damage to me uh but it could have uh just as well killed me depends how it rolls like how many how many of these projectors overlap on you thank you all right and we can go go back to town pick up our skill point from Lani uh we can grab probably I would grab like silver flask or quartz flask uh one of those uh silver flask could help us with the up time on our Onslaught and for example you could drop the onslaught gem at that point for mapping and just rely on the flask or the speed here usually uh it's I mean not usually actually always you go down and then right and then back up you have to look like this around it around the debris or whatever and we go through torched cords okay why is my character stuck somehow am I like I'm lagging like insane right now what is going on okay uh all right then I think this was a some server issue or something you can pick up a shrine here and we're coming up to the zone uh that is pretty much parallel to the Act five Zone uh the chambers I think they're called like desecrated Chambers now or something and uh this is the zone that people used to level up before they proceed to Maps very often because it's simply just has so many magic monsters that it allows you to and get your XP very quickly up and it's level uh 65 or level 62 so we're like three levels below the zone so you could level here to like level 67 very comfortably and proceed into Maps if you wanted to foreign quicker when you have a this encounter chasing you like the intervention encounter you actually don't have to stop and kill them you can just run and kill monsters and they're gonna die to Collateral Damage and when one of them dies then you want to finish them because they might potentially Escape uh but until then you can just keep running and kill them while they are running behind you okay uh what's hitting me I have no idea what's hitting me and kameria let's see if there are any items worth picking up so you got ones uh we've got some stuff to unveil which we could pick up this has actually a massive amount of life uh this has actually a good amount of life as well belts so some pretty good gear here and we got the dark arts as well it's gonna pick up the ones uh phase damage this is not good this is also not good huge amount of cold damage to spells so we could craft something on this and potentially use that and this one is not good and this belt is also not good so we got these chest pieces that we could potentially use all right it's a pretty dangerous boss as well just want to make sure to not get hit that's the main thing just don't get hit like I just did all right we got the stuff go back to town talk to Bannon and then we can proceed to kill kitawa not gonna run the lab now but it's your choice you either run lab now or you run it after you kill kitaba it doesn't really matter if you can copy resistances the thing that you will pick up from the lab would be Heart Of Destruction right either Heart Of Destruction or the shaper of winter but since you're already here at Mastermind of Discord I would pick up the heart of Destruction and then go for the shape of winter from your Uber lab it's a smaller upgrade it's just like a uh defensive option you get to chill you get to chill monsters which is particularly powerful when you're fighting bosses for example it allows you to just tank them much more reliably you can just FaceTime bosses because they are they are attacking so slowly that uh you get to like recover your HP and survive in between hits so it's very very nice and it's probably a more powerful defensive option uh than picking up the Bastion of elements but version of elements or like the Golem way those are both viable as well however because we're stacking so much effect of the non-damaging ailments it makes sense to go for the chill as well because you are basically guaranteeing a very strong chill even though you're not doing any cold damage uh actually we're gonna go the other way for some reason I thought the this is locked but it's not locked it's actually the exit so this zone is level like 67 we're like four levels below which is totally fine it's not it's not that big of a deal four levels at this point especially since we're playing very very powerful build the character is pretty strong the gear is good we get our resistance is capped uh we've got some block now from the dark arts as well so this should be very very easy as well last craft Dr San plant dot totem and look it up oh yeah Arrow damage is huge foreign okay we gotta start on this side then I'll get hit by the fire easy peasy pick up the thorough gloves and so it took us four hours 59 minutes uh very casually explaining everything I'm not a speedrunner it's just like a kind of an efficient way of leveling it doesn't have to take you a whole day level doesn't have to take you like multiple sessions it's really nice to like be able to level in in four hours five hours and just get everything done like in one quick session and it makes it so much easier to level new characters because you don't have to um like you don't have to dread it right you can do it just much much much easier uh so I definitely recommend taking a little bit of time and learning how to
