[Music] [Music] I'm going to open a chicken there's something really special so chicken is that I've taken cornflakes I put them in a ziploc bag and basically I took a rolling pin and rolled them to create the braid I add some Parmesan cheese then I got some time I say about a tablespoon of the time we'll give it a little mix just kind of toss it around so now we won't create the dredge process and the dredge process starts off you know I told you it's buttermilk oven baked chicken so we add some buttermilk and some lemon juice then I want some onions also I'm just gonna slice things it's like so break them up holes in there the pepper I heard some real quick to do it home doesn't take a lot I'm gonna smash some garlic and I'm just gonna smash it smash we go just take the back out of your night bear down and throw those and I'm gonna do about three days just like that i'ma tell you something ain't no when I'm cooking some special but my beautiful wife my kids and wait later on my kids gonna come out that my baby girl Ariel was just about anything she's gonna come out and they don't need my tasters alright so I put myself up again I've made my own seasoning but any store-bought seasoning that you want to buy lockers or mcCormick or any of those kind of then we're just gonna whisk this just like this now I'm gonna use chicken drumettes nobody but us chickens loves she loves the dark meat so the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna take these drums that we just put them in our boat ago I got my pan I'm gonna bake them in sitting here I always like to spray my pan so I've got stick not typically if you want to just cut down on time the night before you know you want to do this make it liquid and use a bigger pan put all your chicken in the fridge you can use it you keep it overnight then we go in here into our place or bread [Music] to a child so I'm going to wash my hands he'll throw these in the oven they're in the oven at 400 degrees which I've already preheated and we're baking for about 45 minutes when I come back we're gonna throw now on some garlic mashed potatoes I know so the chicken is in the oven is bacon is doing this thing now we got to throw down on these garlic mashed potatoes so I got my pot here and to start off with any mashed potatoes you know you got to have some butter I have my butter in the skillet I'm gonna add some heavy cream I've already cooked about two pounds of red potatoes which I cut into quarters and I bought earlier turn so we've got it all mixed I've got my two pounds of red potatoes that's Ariel y'all it's almost dinnertime it's so my potatoes are going here the other thing that I did was saying garlic mash Ariel can I kind of do show you just let me know if I can finish prepare your dinner she doesn't care she just so I told you guys that is garlic mashed potatoes so I roasted a garlic and if you've never roasted about a whole garlic head you just take your garlic and put it in a little fall you drizzle it with olive oil you slice off the top so olive oil gets in salt and pepper and you roast it then when you roast it after you roast in it you just squeeze and all of the garlic comes right off into it's nothing left to do but match and of course most time when I match I gotta help her and he's my song he loves to get in the kitchen with me and cook I shall y'all he told oh I like his little steps to make him tall arms so then we just mash like that typically what I like to do is add cream of milk to my mashed potatoes as needed so that I got the right texture and thickness but if they are you can always just throw your and allow them to pick it up just today just like that last thing I forgot you always want to season your potatoes so y'all know I got my piggies are you gonna season them come on over here let's do this here let's bring it over here yeah now how did I tell you stay high stay high with it now I need you to put some pepper you can you know you can always thicken them up by just turn them back on all right so now what's your favorite eat chicken I told y'all this house is a chicken this house this house is growing wings it's gonna be plucking the eggs around here before low all right so we gotta go to the oven and we got to get to chicken out you won't go to the oven when they get to chicken you need he got to get his mitts y'all all right you grab this here and I got this here we're going back to my kitchen all the time y'all tell me something movies out the way man we need somebody to taste the chicken who we gonna call mom if you notice young the potatoes they are now they thicken up perfectly anytime guys that you want baked fried chicken you cannot lose with pets buttermilk oven baked fried chicken because this s crusty as a fried chicken there's got a good crunch to it and of course did I'm not introduced my beautiful family this is my amazing the most amazing woman on the earth my lovely wife Tameka my booot the beautiful daughter Ariel and my son Isaiah and I spend most of my evenings a lot of the evenings what I have the time coming on preparing great meals for them so we're gonna add a salad to this and we're good
