Pastor's SLEAZY Rant on Women's Bodies

pastor stuart alan clark of the first general baptist church in missouri is on leave after a video surfaced of him saying what you would to be quite honest expect a pastor in missouri to say uh he seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with melania trump and emphasize that women need to be as attractive as possible for their husbands because husbands can't help it they like to look at pretty things let's start with the first video why is it so many times that women after they get married let themselves go why is it why do they do that here's how way too many women are i got him now the chase is over hey that's where you're wrong the chase ain't never over the chase ain't never over and by god if he don't love me the way i look now he ought to look at his own spare tire in the mirror now look i'm not saying every woman can be the epic the epic trophy wife of all time like melania trump i'm not saying at all not most women can't be trophy wise but you you know like her maybe you're maybe a participation trophy i don't know but all i can say is not everybody looks like that amen no it looks like that but but you don't need to look like a butch either uh this was during a sermon so just a couple things to start here uh first of all did you notice what he said he said well maybe you could get you can't get a trophy wife like you can't be a trophy like a wife like melania maybe you need a participation trophy this guy's disgusting and then secondly we're not going to note the hypocrisy it's like me telling someone to to not eat a bacon cheeseburger what do you look at you while watching this is because well number one i look at him and i i really see a sad guy like he's clearly not a happy fulfilled person like he went on a 22-minute rant about how women need to look good and you're right i mean he lacks any and all um you know self-reflection um and i'm do i'm trying real hard to be a good person uh by not getting uh you know down in the dirt uh with my commentary here but let me get to the next clip before i do it around with pigs anna let's get something i can okay i'm telling you brother when i used to do marrow counseling i don't anymore [Applause] i was young a young pastor no no better and i i i agreed to counsel this couple they've been married but five years she looked like a sumo wrestler and he was a little guy and i started saying you know there wasn't was no intimacy going on there and uh you know i'm i'm trying to keep a straight face i'm trying you know this is awkward i've never really counseled too many married people for and so i said to him i said so what seems to be the problem when it comes to the intimacy part he said because she's a fat babe and she came over that table and she grabbed him and threw him on the floor and got on top of his are beating the crap out of him and here i am i feel like a wwe wrestling referee i'm trying to pull her off he's got two black eyes probably broken ribs because she's punching him in the ribs in the face at the same time and i get finally get her pulled off her and they we sit down it's like nothing ever happened that never happened uh jank back to you look i i just look man i'm so sad no but like so i'm i'm i'm not getting at the guy in a hypocritical way like i i but i don't go around calling other people names like it's insane it's how does he not look in the mirror how does he not look in the mirror he called her a sumo wrestler dude like i make up this story for my kids and it has different characters one of them is called dr belly bomb if i had to drop dr belly bomb and his superpowers people bounce off his belly and fly halfway across the world that's the guy who draw up you talking about sumo wrestlers brother that's what you're talking about yeah and the look the reason why i think um he's not a happy person is because everything that he's focusing on is physically related right and i know from personal experience that there are a lot of hot people out there and you can have a lot of fun with hot people but if there isn't substance behind that hotness and this goes for men and women by the way like i know people like to say like oh but men are fit you know they're visual creatures they're yeah yeah because women aren't visual creatures yeah i'm sure no but you still if you're gonna get married okay i'm married i've been married for how many years has it been since 2016. um marriage is hard when you really like your partner when your partner stimulates you both sexually and mentally it's still hard so like the fact that he's just hyper focused on physical appearance it just obviously his priorities are all messed up and it's it gives me some reason to believe that he's not happy in his own relationship um yeah he talks about that he talks about that later and i didn't clip that out because um it just the conversation grossed me out like he was pretty critical of her in front of all the parishioners about how overweight she became after having children and then he like gave her tough talk and she lost weight and now she's under a hundred pounds which by the way is pretty unhealthy i mean i don't know how tall she is but based on what he's saying that sounds unhealthy um but he's just a sad person and i don't let people like that um in any way make me question my own self worth or value and i'm glad that he's you know getting counseling because that's what he needs we do have one more clip though let's let's go to that here's a secret you need to know ladies god made men to be drawn to beautiful women we are made this way we can't help ourselves we are like that that's how god made us do you think eve wasn't attracted in the garden he made men to be attracted to beautiful women by the way that's why he married you he thought you were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life and that's why he married you know you can call it juvenile you can call it immature you can call it sexist whatever you want to but here's another secret you need to ladies that's know way god made us it's the way we are men are going to look he made us to look you want them to be looking at you so we need to not we neither don't let yourself go it's important that your man has a as a good looking woman on his arm what are you reading over there stuart allen is that the bible are you referencing the bible when you're saying all this ridiculousness um also like i just love that talking point of well what can we do god made men visual creatures yeah god made me want to lay around and eat twinkies all day but i don't do that right god made me want to like just sleep in every single day but i don't do that because guess what uh we have to control our impulses or our urges to be part of a civilized society so for him to say like well what can we do we like to look we like to look you know we like to look we're visual creatures oh you so women are supposed to control their impulses and you guys are free to go like you're free to perv out as much as you want and what can you do god made you that way yeah i mean it's just pathetic look there isn't anything that you couldn't use the bible to justify so when it like these preachers when they're quoting the bible they're just telling you what they want they're they're cherry-picking at best half the time there's nothing in the bible about this jank well no there is actually no i'm going to say one thing that he gave from corinthians i don't know that it's a real quote but i'll explain that but it doesn't matter it's the same thing with the quran it's the same thing with the talmud it doesn't matter this guy doesn't want his wife to be overweight and he wants his ass to be overweight and he's just using the bible as a prop for it it has nothing to do with the bible overall of course that's true the only way i'm listening to this guy about like other people's weight problems is if he's doing this sermon on a treadmill let's keep it real okay now uh on in terms of uh what he said though this is about to take a turn so he said do i think you're hot in that hairstyle that's what matters it doesn't matter what you think of yourself i don't care about your self-esteem the only thing that matters is do i think you're hot that's the only thing that women should care about this guy's disgusting so then he says that he claims to quote corinthians when he says quote the wife has no longer all the rights over her body but she shares them with her husband okay so now if you're a woman who's married according to this guy and according to corinthians his interpretation of it women that's it you have no rights to your body anymore your husband owns your body and if that wasn't clear enough he went on to say so whenever she's not in the mood take out your bible no no no no no that's that's just flat out like marital rape so this guy's got to go it's no longer funny about the you know the hypocrisy etc this guy's a monster yeah absolutely um there's no question i mean and i listened to the rest of it and i couldn't help but think about the women who were in that audience and by the way one of those parishioners was the one who decided to put this up on facebook uh because she was so disgusted by it and obviously she was justified in her disgust here uh but it's just it's i mean aside from being deeply disgusting and misogynistic um there are all sorts of assumptions being made about human behavior right both male and female and i i think that being in a relationship whether it's a marriage civil union boyfriend girlfriend whatever uh girlfriend girlfriend boyfriend boyfriend doesn't matter right we as humans are i just doesn't matter how hot your partner is you're gonna look you're gonna look at other people um and that's okay we're humans right so don't let that scare you like don't let that type of talking point that you heard uh in those clips terrify you about your relationship because i i mean i check out other people i i hope my husband checks out other people because that's normal and that's okay the question is do you act on it or not right so it's just stupid like your physical appearance has little to do with it like if you're married to the hottest person for years and years and years it doesn't matter eventually you're gonna admire the
