Bible scholars and they say things like the Sabbath is when you're supposed to have church Sabbath is Saturday God never changed it well actually Jesus did how did he do that well he got up on the first day of the week I don't hear nobody talking to me and the first day of the week is Su Sunday so when he got up on the first day of the week that's when he was walking down the road of emus and ran into some of his disciples and they invited him into their house and he went in and broke the bread and appeared unto them that was a Sunday um they started meeting the first church because most of them were of Hebrew descent and so they kept the Sabbath but the church met on Sundays Paul writes to the Church of Corinthians says when you come together on the first day day of the week that's when things started shifting and then when the day of Pentecost had fully come the reason Pentecost moves is because it is predicated upon what happened with the Passover and Easter after the Passover there were seven sabbaths 7 time 7 is 49 the day after would make it the 50th day so if I have seven sabbaths I have seven Saturdays the next day after Saturday would be Sunday it was on a Sunday that they was sitting in the room and [Applause] suddenly ah it was they were unaware as to when it was going to happen they just knew it was going to happen because Jesus told them to stay there until you be endued with power from on high don't move don't come up with another plan don't try to help God out don't even try to figure it out just stay there uh and suddenly there was a sound from Heaven as a rushing Mighty Wind so so the first thing they did was they heard something sitting there they hear the wind the wind of Pentecost the wind of the spirit it filled the house the wind filled the house so the first first thing they heard something and faith comes by I thought y'all would catch on in a minute and then there appeared unto them clothing tongues like as a fire first they heard something then they saw something see you got to hear it before you see it they heard it then they saw it then it sat upon each of them they heard something they saw something and then they felt something oh Baptist man said I wouldn't have a religion I couldn't feel it ain't in the feeling yeah but you ought to feel something when the when the rushing of the Mighty Wind happened when God comes through you ought to feel something and it was a spontaneous if you will combustion that happened to everyone there one moment they're sitting there in anticipation and the next moment they all speaking one moment is just a regular wait and the next moment is the Fulfillment of what God promised I'm trying to talk to somebody that has a significant suddenly that's getting ready to come into their lives I don't want you to become dishearted I don't want you to feel as if all of your weight and all of your labor and all of your work has been in vain see we like to we like to see progress we like to see things getting better we we base our faith on what we see and that's not how Faith Works faith is the substance of things and the evidence of things we we base our faith predicated upon what God has said so I'm sitting here not knowing when it's going to happen but expecting a suddenly the time Shand is in the hand of God when God gets it done is up to God it's just up to me to stay here till he gets it [Applause] done and despite all of those that have criticized that find fault in my weit David says wait on the law care who talking about you wait on them and don't wait pouting don't wait mad wait on the Lord and be a good courage and he shall strengthen thy heart weight I say quality of the weight I know God's going to do it I'm I'm I'm just about finished now I know I know God's going to do it and every believer I said every believer has a significant suddenly that's going to happen in their lives everyone it may not be a new car it may not be a a raise on the jar may be but that ain't the one that everyone's looking for Hallelujah hallelu I said there's a significant suddenly he writes in 1 Corinthians 15th chapter and the 51st verse behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed I know that there are those that want to douse the hope and cause you to feel as if your faith in God is useless and worth worthless they want you to feel as if the story is just that they want you to feel as if too many people have died in order for you to still have hope and they say Peter says they scoff and they say where is he y'all said he was coming you said it when the father started going to sleep any day now any day now it's happening any day now and time continues to go on like it has in the beginning and what the devil seeks to do is take time and use it against God are you listening to me he wants you to feel that because you've waited this long that if God were going to do something he would have done it by now that if God was going to move he would have moved by now but God has already planned his return before he ever left the apostles asked Jesus said when would you restore the kingdom to Israel he said that ain't for you to know that's all in the father's hand he said this is what I want you to know you shall receive power I wish I had a Praying church after that the Holy Ghost have come upon you it takes power to stand in the midst of adversity it takes power to stand when everything around you is saying something different we have folk that used to believe in the Rapture of the church they believed in the catching away of the church but now they've changed their minds but I've come to remind those that have been blood [Applause] bought those that have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb hold on because you have another significant suddenly coming behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed how is it going to happen it's going to happened in a moment look at your neighbor and say neighbor that's the final [Music] suddenly that's the last significant suddenly look at your neighbor and say neighbor that's the one you want you want that suddenly in a moment in the twinkling in the batting of an eye we going to be changed the Mortal is going to put on immortality the corruptible is going to put on incorruption is not going to be a photosynthesis it's going to happen overnight wait a minute it's not even going to happen overnight it's going to happen in a moment one moment I'm standing in time and the next moment I'm standing in eternity one moment I'm dealing with problems and the next moment I'm dealing in promise one moment I'm dealing in the temporal and the next moment I'm in the Eternal it's going to happen seven look at your neighbor and say neighbor I can't wait for the suddenly oh Lord yes m I can't get bogged down with the cares of this life I can't allow what I'm going through to make me feel as if God has forgotten me I got to hold on yes I got to learn how to say like Paul I fought a good fight but I kept the faith look at your neighbor and S you got to keep the faith no matter what you're going through no matter who leaves no matter who changes their mind no matter who turns back I got to hold on to my faith yes I'm not holding on to you I'm holding on to my faith I don't care what the prognosticator has to say about it I'm not worried about the atheist I'm not concerned about the philosopher I got to hold on to my faith uh he said behold uh I go to prepare a place for you and if I go I will return again and receive you to myself that where I am there ye may be also oh Lord I got to go back with him I got to hold on until it comes I got to believe until it comes and if I go by way of the Grave uh I'm going to die in h I'mma hold on to my faith [Applause] [Music] Lord yes yes the Christian faith the faith of the Believers the faith that Jesus gave us doesn't stop when life ends it begins when life ends I got a crown laid up for me it's not only for me but it's for all those that love his appearing that's standing there with tiptoe anticipation waiting and looking into the Beyond knowing that God is coming back and he's coming back real soon yes sir and it's going to happen in a moment in a twinkling of an eye suddenly the mountains going to skip like Lambs suddenly the heels are going to crumble uh the Earth is going to shake the sin is going to run graves are going to be turned upside down lord suddenly everything we've been hoping for is going to come to pass look at your neighbor and say neighbor I got one more significant suddenly [Music] [Applause] [Music] the old folk got it right they sang a song that said if you miss me from singing down here and you can't find me nowhere come on up Lord have mercy to Bright Glory I'll be singing up there my daddy used to say it this way I got a new home over in Zion it's [Music] mine look at your neighbor and say neighbor I got at least one more significant suddenly yes yes I got one more yes I do and the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the Trump of God and with the voice of the Archangel and the dead in Christ I got one more I got one more significant suddenly it's going to be a great day all of the Saints are going to be there we're going to join that grand stand that great cloud of witnesses yes sir yes everybody is going to be there all of the Saints of the ages we going to sit at his feet and be blessed look at your neighbor and say neighbor hold on for one more significant sundly I need somebody to give God praise right here [Music] The Hope hear me now the hope of the Christian faith is founded upon the resurrection of the Dead if you don't believe that then you're wasting your time if you don't believe I've heard actors and actresses question what do you think happens when you die well I don't know maybe there an energy maybe we reincarnate it we come back at some no no no no no no the Bible says very clearly what's going to happen it's very clear and we need to stop listening to anything anything that is not scripturally or bi biblically [Applause] based if you don't believe in the resurrection of the Dead Paul says you're yet in your sins but I have a significance suddenly [Applause] this is the biggest one because every believer is going to get up [Applause] everyone the small and the great those that were significant and those that seemed insignificant every believer is going to get up out of the grave and it's going to happen it's not going to happen in phases it's not going to be like some going to get up some not going to get up that's not how it works as the preacher explained you know when you come from a big family I Remember Mama did it as you got older you got to stay up later the little kids had to go to bed earlier oh we like that mama ain't it time for them to go to bed we went to sleep at different times we all may not sleep at the same [Music] time some may go to sleep earlier than [Music] others but we all going to wake up at the [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] same I I wouldn't want to be anything but [Music] saved cuz I'm going to get up I'm going to see him face to face hallelujah hallelujah everyone standing I remember at the go to a flat I remember at the funeral of Elder Weatherspoon there was mother McGrath she sang this song she said I'll I'll be there I'll be there when my work on Earth is ended I'll be there for the Dead who died in Christ shall be resurrected first then I'll be risen from the earth I'll be there whether you died in the fifth century the first century the 20th century the 21st century it doesn't make any [Music] difference I'll be there [Applause] lift those hands and hearts father in the name of the Lord Jesus give us the faith to look for you in the significant suddenly that father you're going to catch us the whole idea is the catching away in a moment in the twinkling of an eye we rebuke doubt we rebuke fear we leave here full of faith knowing that your word is true that you cannot lie and you cannot change and because you said it you're going to do it and because we believe it we pray you now in Jesus name if you believe it give him a praise right [Music] [Applause] [Music] now come on and praise him [Music] [Music]
