Pure distillation of uncle-nephew energy
party rockers in the hou
se tonight
Bro I remember bumpin this shit back in like 3rd grade now I'm a college dropout working at Walmart time flies man
Itβs honestly unreal how they were an over night hit, got themselves to the fucking super bowl halftime show with Madonna, and then just disbanded and faded into obscurity. This sound is super dated and was cringe inducing even back then (especially Iβm Sexy and I Know It) but this being 10 years old now is wild. Party Rock was at every school dance and shuffling was everywhere.
Weren't these guys weirdly also financial investors or something...
Shit sounded dated even back then but it served its purpose
Hot take and prediction: Once the pandemic is over, the music meta will be shafting back to the EDM/partying/club type of music.
Man, 2011 was the peak of club/party rap, so many EDM-influenced rap songs that became popular at that time.
Flo Rida, Pitbull, and Black Eyed Peas were the mains of that era or year. And even some staples of that year like Waka Flocka Flame, Machine Gun Kelly, Wiz Khalifa, and commercial-high Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
Cant believe this is 10 already.
