hey guys so as you know I've been away for a while I had a lot of projects and I learned some new things that I want to share with you so I will be creating this new tutorial series about architectural walkthroughs and animations in unreal for unreal for is and game a computer video game engine for creating video games but it's very powerful tool to create architectural visualizations also so you can create a space you can control different things change colors do whatever what you want and all in real time so I have in the demonstration I created here so will see what I'm talking about this was created on a real studio 4 which is a totally free so he can download it and you can download the engine and use it for free only if you create a game and you want to sell it then you need to give percentage to the firm that creates this engine which is epic games but in our case it is totally and completely free so let's see what we have here so we have a scene I'm controlling this in real time I can walk around I can look at objects everything is in very high resolution you have here a couple of objects this is the space you have reflections and lighting and everything you can walk around you can come close to the TV you can see that TV moves and there is a sound for coming from the TV the doors open and close when I come close to them if I go outside here you can see that the trees are moving in the wind you have the sound of the pool and if I go inside the door opens when I come close to it I can go into interactive mode and move the Sun everything in real time I can hit a a couple of objects in the scene that I programmed let's say the floor and change it to a different material and the carpets sofa or whatever I want then I can continue walking around with the new materials and everything is interactive everything in real time and you can even if you have a VR headset you can go into this environment and walk around in virtual reality so this is very cool and after you do whatever you want with a walkthrough you just want to see a pretty video of the space you can hit escape and you will have a video with the music playing showing off the space and every change you make will be changed in the video itself in real time so this is a walkthrough I created you can create this using the Unreal Engine 4 let's go back to the walkthrough I can go and change to night mode in real time so I can walk around at night and everything without a single render so this is a night scene so if I go to the balcony you can see that everything that as you as before you can change the floor you can change everything so that's color of everything and you can walk around in night so you see the Stars and the reflections are night reflection everything is beautiful so this tutorial series will be focused on the basic of how to import a scene from 3d studio max and v-ray into the Unreal Engine using a noose new plugin that is called a data Smith or unreal studio which comes also free if you want a from epic games and this plugin what it does is essentially you can export a whole entire scene from 3d studio max into unreal for and this will save you a lot of work so can just import it and then start a couple of triggers to do all this interaction as I just showed you so enjoy the series and I'll see you in the first tutorial bye
