Parson Branch Road from Cades Cove to the Tail of the Dragon

we are entering Carson's Branch Road we're about to eat dust just kidding this is right near the visitor center as you start back around the loop in Kate's C okay so apparently I didn't know where Parson's Branch Road start Parson Branch Road starts that you go down this road which is two-way until you get to this and then this starts uh a oneway four-wheel drive with high clearance Vehicles recommended 8 Miles Ahead so here we go [Applause] what [Music] [Music] nope s [Music] [Music] [Music] I didn't see that one [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] out [Music] oh you hit it um and here we come out at the end of Parson Branch here's my take on Parson Branch rope um I I think that it probably is wise to have high clearance vehicles uh because after you reach the where the trail heads are for Gregory bald after you pass the trail heads and you're coming down there's a lot of water Crossings and after those it's like when the concrete on the bridge stops there's a bunch of potholes uh that I I could see where high clearance higher clearance Vehicles would benefit from that um overall other than after the bridges and maybe that first little Hill up um it's mainly just a dirt road uh really pretty you don't really see a whole lot of people um and then you come out on the Tail of the Dragon and there's a lot of noise and a lot of traffic and you know all that kind of stuff so right now trying to determine if I want to head back um like towards maraville that way or head on towards Dill's Gap and maybe cut through new F Gap and come back so just trying to decide what to do sitting here taking a break um thanks for watching and see you next time
