foreign [Music] this is the free camping at Parham the tides way out there this is the Gulf of Saint Vincent this is the three count site at Parham South Australia a popular crabbing Beach and one hour drive from the city of Adelaide it's beautiful and we're right along the beach thank you [Music] yeah he's got the V you see the under piece on him is it V yes so he's a male and the females have a more of a it's pretty good [Music] thank you foreign so this morning we went out crabbing caught five blue swimmer crabs in total only two legal size so I had to throw the other three back but in the process of measuring them they're pretty aggressive we already had one in the tub by himself as soon as another went in they started fighting and of the three that got thrown back we actually got a couple of claws out of them because they they ripped them off each other so we've got 25 minutes later and only gone up by 10 degrees time to break out the big guns the mega jet outdoor power cooker okay after a brief pause in proceedings while we connected up the mega jet outdoor power cooker we've got the water on and as you can hear by the uh flame yeah the temperature's going up quite quickly have been in ice water now for quite a few hours and that sent them into a dormant state so they've they're ready to go into the pot it's the most humane way to cook them is the number one blue swimmer crab they're by no mean monsters but they are both legal we got the official state government measuring device and they're they're easily legal so here he goes he's about to go in the pot thank you here's number two he lost one of his Nippers in the battle with the big fella in there anyways he's about to go join him and now for the bonus Nippers for those that were too small but they lost their close during the measuring process these two Big Fellas get them off the ice water that we sent them into a dormant state with is useful at the end of the cooking process to get that out of the asking once they're once they've been cooked we'll pop them straight into this for 30 seconds and that'll stop the internal cooking process so that they'll they'll not overcook and go mushy it's from 100 degrees okay we'll just drain the water away now that they've cooled off and stopped cooking that yeah that's good there cool to touch now not cooking inside anymore that's dinner foreign [Music]
