today we play Paper Mario the origami King getting to a boss that so many people have said is their favorite boss in the game this has been a fantastic playthrough I'm so glad that you guys are enjoying this thank you so much for watching and I really hope you enjoy this video it has been a little while since we have played this game but I do know where we have to go we are going to one of the most exciting boss fights the favorite boss fight of so many people in this game the first thing that we have to do is just stop by this Tower over here yeah the fuel efficiency on this vehicle is might be ancient treasure or a simple ancient Rock either way I advise that you hang on to it it's actually an emerald from Minecraft that's so cool that you could collected by hammering it like that okay so we got the diamond Jewel wait a minute but diamonds look like blue eggs in Minecraft not like green rocks like this man I've got to play some more Minecraft I think doing some more Minecraft from the fire is going to get Focus through that oh the stone you put in there is sparkling so brightly what's happening other than this pretty light show look what is happening things are starting to shake and it's not just shaking but look the entire Tower is turning look at this toad guy that is turning around and he has some kind of light in his eye over there a beam is coming out of his eye have you guys ever heard people say that they got laser eye surgery I don't think that that is what they mean I don't think they mean that they could shoot laser beams out of their eyes that's often not what is meant Oh and we're all knocked over now that's pretty funny we fell over from that ah what was all that shaking why did We All Fall Down what just happened all right let's go to the next one cuz that is one out of I believe four complete and we notice that the tower turned the mushroom guy turned yeah look at him look at that lanky guy isn't he facing a different direction now maybe he just wanted to look at something different yeah because that's what happens to towers and statues they just sometimes want to look at something different so they do right okay let's see where we are going to go next why don't we head on over this way to the left and go to this one I think there might be some cool stuff for us over here okay let's just go like this let's just smash through aware of but it's funny when you I need closer it's funny when you know something intellectually and you are just actively thinking about it morbid stuff huh oh because the guy he was a originally just a little bit of money not a crazy amount of money we can fill in this hole here and I think it's done I'm going to oh I wanted to go jump on it as it was being finished there wao a big guy coming let's try it out otherwise we'll be attacked by eight guys and that might kill us let's see okay we got an excellent action command and and okay at least that's enough to take him out and Yeah Captain Toad you took him out MVP of the battle great job Captain Toad you did a lovely job finishing those guys off that was fantastic okay and you get not a lot of money after the battle but at least during the battle uh or sorry while you are finishing up the battle you get some money over there which is nice okay let's fill in this hole also and we can get onto this let's get going let's smash through that anything in there there yeah I thought I saw something in there okay now you're going to get up in a moment let's save this guy first this toad over here ah thanks for that this is scorching sandpaper west by the way BR home to one of the Region's four mysterious Towers okay so I do remember correctly there were four Towers wa wo seems like we barely ran into that guy okay now this is probably the final hole that we have to fill up in this region unless there's one upstairs okay there must be one upstairs then so let's go like this let's destroy this and this wait ah okay I thought wait did we just save a toad I didn't think there was a toad there oh another one of those lanky guys yeah that's what's happening there's just a cut scene as we were looking up like that but wait I don't know if we got all of the gems in fact I don't think we really have any of the gems so is this going to give us a hint about where the gems are cuz I don't remember where the gems are I'll have to rewatch my old guide videos and find out where they are okay so let's go like this and let's read it there we go now all the holes are filled in okay let's read this says says beneath the feet of many times is that going to damage me oh my goodness yeah but it's so funny that it says cacti and not cactuses because I believe that cacti is the proper plural the English language has a lot of funny exceptions doesn't it okay so let's put in a gem over here want to put in the Triangle Jewel there we go but nothing crazy is happening yet because we have to use this first wao it's spinning could it be the fire of Elementals magic circle yes it is is let's use our vellal power here okay so Olivia transforms into the fire vellal and it is basically a Moltres that is using flamethrower attack on that pot of oil and that makes it light up and now the light should be focused through there Olivia you burned up amazing they didn't teach this in school and I minored in regenerative imulation wow I really lit up this space yeah we can see so clearly now oh my gosh I set all of that black water on fire it was oil now it's brighten here wow good lighting sure makes a difference it really does Olivia is an expert in interior design let's look at this now it's all shiny oh and we're rotating again it are we going to fall over again or is this going to be the point where we are no longer surprised that these lanky guys are turning like this let's see another beam of light is being shot out of the shroom Toad's eye and we've now got two coming over here so we probably need all four pointing at the center like that and it looks like it is going to make an earth Elemental Circle when it's done oh that time we're standing he he I knew that was going to happen this time so I didn't fall down that's so funny uh Olivia is a quick learner Olivia could be a good model to use for machine learning okay and that's lovely that we've got that one oh this one changed Direction too yes it did okay so that's two out of the four done so we are going to be able to go to the boss's temple in a moment let's just get these you know what wait wait wait are these new here or are these the same ones as before it doesn't seem like there's ah there still is some money and you know what money is pretty useful in this game especially if you are avoiding a lot of battles then it's nice to get some extra money wherever you can cuz there are some things that can save a bit of time with money and you know what they say you can make more money but you can't make more time so whenever you could spend money to save time that often is a good idea to do in the world of Paper Mario okay so let's see is there one of them them over here okay it looks like there's one up there okay we didn't really do this section yet wait can I uh hit that guy that seems like a guy that we want to whack okay but wait let's just fill in this first there we go got one more hole filled in okay that's is a thing that's so funny I have never heard of a snake catcher I've heard of a snake charmer but not a snake catcher okay and driving around in our boot car might make it easier to get some of the we could just smash them and smash these uh maybe there's an invisible block around there and I could have climbed up and then there's something that I was supposed to get but maybe not oh the boo just disappeared okay let's go and fill in that hole in the top left wow still another one is this one the tallest yet I not sure if there are actually different Heights or not let's see okay nothing Focus some more on that one cuz that is a really fun game and I played through chapter one of the HD mod version of it which was really fun woo thanks for that am I still in scorching sandpaper Far ancient one yeah the professor is just obsessed with ancient ones his whole life's work is all about trying to find an ancient one I love finding these tall lanky guys yeah that's fine Olivia we're going to make our way up here and it's so nice that the game saves when you move from one major area to another so I don't even really have to hit save blocks around here okay now this time let's put in the gem and then we'll light it up okay so let's put in the Square Jewel there we are the square jewels in place oh wait and we should read this this gives us a hint about where to find the square Jewel near walls of waves a fire is place an eye is there by Earth encased okay so I think there's some hint that somebody gave us about the East part of the town somewhere that there used to be some kind of ocean or sea there or something so that's why it says waves and then by Earth in case that's what they mean by the fireplace and it looks like this is going to be the final one so in a moment we are going to be able to make it into the legendary Temple of shrooms but for now we have this statue shooting out another beam out of its eye and it had a very impressive laser eye surgery you know what would be so funny if I keep talking about laser eye surgery and ads come onto this video for laser or something guys let me know in a comment if that happens cuz I think that would actually be so funny that would be a fantastic time for an ad and an ad placement like that wait I don't need to fall down do I I'm floating oh that's such a funny comment ha I actually forgot about that one this game has some pretty good humor okay so we come out we look up and this guy's facing that way too Yep this one turned also yeah and they're giving us a hint about where we have to go we all okay get in there Mario where we all have to go is over this way and I don't have to worry about battling those pokeo anymore or not pokeo pokes they're called pokeo are the uh birds from Super Mario Odyssey actually okay we actually don't need that because we are full of confetti so let's just make our way across and it's so nice that you have these saving screens like this so yeah we don't have to use the save blocks okay now we just come on down this way and in a moment we are going to the temple of shrooms and then we are going to have the boss fight there which is super exciting very exciting very exciting times over here so exciting okay let's go what is this now well this looks different did something light up was this here before whoa could it be the Earth Elementals magic circle that is exactly what it is can Professor read this for me again what did this say when darkness looms the desert sand and TBS the Temple of shrooms well let's make our way up here and look what it is it is happen the professor looks pretty scared is he going to run away no he's just going to stand here so look where we are we are way up at the top of the Temple of shrooms oh look at all the Toads over there wow we just made this Temple come out of the desert like this this is such a Cool Secret this is such a throwback this reminds me so much of the original Paper Mario game ah such a fantastic game I absolutely love that one as a kid that was such a fun playthrough okay so here we are the Temple of shrooms goodness this must be the Temple of shrooms itself so this is what it meant by desert sand and tombs ah the ancient ones did love a good cryptic hint and what's going to happen I wonder if you could use glitches to skip through there and just get to the end of the temple right away now that the temple is awake do you think we can follow the streamer it leads into the cracks see you're right the streamer certainly appears to terminate inside the temple come on let's go find the entrance yeah let's go okay so we can't enter through here but it' be so cool if you could Skip and get through here we we aren't going to be able to get past here until we get rid of this stream yeah let's make our way down here and I don't think there's anything for us to collect on either side yeah those are just extra confetti if you need it and we can exit down there no I didn't mean to exit oh no I just wanted to see what was down there okay let's come back I'm ready to come back and now let's head inside here into the Temple of shrooms we go oh this is so exciting in the temple of shrooms this is where we are here we are the Prof is looking around oh boy he should be really excited cuz this is what his life's work is basically researching these things hm yes it seems that this may be the final resting place of the Ancient King shromes I've also discovered that a sort of safety mechanism was responsible for burying the temple in the sand when the sun went out the temple retreated into the Earth for safekeeping oh so the temple wasn't just taking a nap or something uh no it's a king's Temple so it was designed this way to ward off Intruders Interlopers infidels and unauthorized visitors in any case we should be quite careful as we explore this Temple is almost certainly rigged with traps yeah we might be running into some traps soon okay oh and there com some little spiders wait get off big spiders get off big spiders so weird that the spiders came to us here wait did we get all the little spiders or are there more okay I was expecting that maybe something would happen fulfilling those in but I guess we're going to continue on and okay spiky spiky over there oh boy we got attacked by spiders now okay so let's see what are we going to want to do here okay I know what we have to do over here I haven't reviewed these puzzles in a very long time so luckily I still know how to do it is it just me or is it getting much more difficult to line up all these folded soldiers if it ever feels totally impossible try holding why to get the audience of toads to help by cheering you on yeah if you do that then you could actually have the Toads partially solve some of the puzzles for you which is interesting okay but there we go these are all lined up now now let's use our shiny boots hopefully these take out the Scuttle bugs wait Scuttle bugs weren't they Orange in Super Mario 64 okay well it looks like shiny boots are enough to take these guys out are iron boots enough let's try this hopefully if they aren't then hopefully toad will take them out for us okay they're still all alive Captain Toad please take him out oh my iron brds broke nice and good job Captain Toad oh my goodness wait no Professor toad I called him Captain Toad earlier in go have our dance party and this exciting boss battle that I'm sure many of you have been looking forward to hey you did it you got enough toads to set this party off let's go get him on the dance Freaks and our special guest Mario it is time for us to get dancing and it is this lovely song that so many people enjoy oh man this is so funny who would have thought when they first started playing this game that we would see Mario at a disco party like this with a bunch of faceless toads doing a choreographed dance that is perfectly in sync with a bunch of toads that are missing their faces for those of you that haven't seen this game before you might be wondering wait a minute why do those toads not have faces what kinds of other bosses have we faced off against we faced off against colored pencils what other boss have we faced off against I don't want to see any spoilers accidentally what was the second boss that we faced off against hold on I'm trying to remember I know in the first chapter for the red streamer we had colored pencils and we had the Earth velmental then we have the water velmental oh and it was elastic bands that's who it was we Face the rubber band boss and now we can see that this boss is peeking through the doors over here and it's seeing all these toads dancing over here oh excuse me just coughing a little bit but yeah here we go oh man looks like Mario's dance is going well he's having a lot of fun with these toads I wonder if there are 40 to oh and look Olivia and Professor toad are off there dancing to the side what a cool game and soon we're going to see the boss coming out in a moment look at this oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah he's about to join the dance over here and look at this oh man the door's open and the boss burst through it's groovy look at this what's going on what's going on look at it spinning around it is pushing all the toes off we are facing off against a hole puncher you know what I haven't seen a hole puncher in real life in a wow the Disco Devil hole punch oh boy this is going to be cool hey I know you're in the groove and all but you totally blew all the toades off of the stage and you punched out their faces earlier did you do that just so they would dance with you that's monstrous yeah cuz only brainless people would dance with a hole puncher apparently lady I couldn't stop grooving now if I wanted to so I guess we're going to have to face off H get it face off huh so I'm the Disco Devil and I get rid of people's faces all right I'm ready for this boss fight this is going to be a good boss fight let's go I am pumped I'm going to own this dance floor to the break of dawn and seeing as there's no sun horiz in here that means This Groove is never going to end hey come on I'll start with some moves even amateurs can appreciate oh come on one two punch and the whole punch punches some holes into the field over here so we don't want to step onto those okay I have to hand it to this thing its dance moves are sharp they were so sharp that they left Holes in the Floor I'm guessing we should steer clear of those okay so what we want to do for the first turn is and I'm so glad that I made guide videos on how to do these bosses in easy ways hopefully this strategy works we are just going to start off with the chest right over here and we're going to fall down cuz we're not on an arrow so we don't keep moving hopefully this works out yikes you need to place an arrow in front of your Mario if you don't you'll trip on the first step that's fine I don't mind doing that just coming attack me there we go got a nice block took only three damage that's okay this is all part of our plan now let's see where we are going to be moving uh-oh this might not be good cuz we want an A+ one panel and we want a double damage panel and we want to end on uh and we want to end up behind the boss but I don't know if we'll be able to do both of those things actually let's see what if we go like this and is that behind the bus that at least looks like it is behind the bus but it looks like we actually can't get both of the things that we want yeah because these aren't lined up nicely unless we can do something like this let's see where this will go nope that won't work this also will not work okay so let's go back to the original plan let's go like this 2x damage here come like this that lets us come down there and wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait what if I go like this uh no that will not work okay so hold on we still have one move left oh oh accidentally un did that move okay wait so let's go like this we need to go like this excuse me excuse me coughing a little bit and I guess we'll go like this that should be behind the bus you know what we could go like this just to be double safe okay let's see is this path looking good I think this path is looking good let's see so we get to do double damage it's too bad that we don't get to attack twice in this turn so we might not be finishing this boss fight as soon as we'd like oh no oh that was bad that was actually not very good at all you want to dance you want to dance bro let me show you what you're up against one two all right uh-oh and we did actually get hole punched so we lost a bunch of our HP there okay but we got a nice block there Mario your face no that's all right that's all right let's just try and get one more nice attack before it starts to do its crazy attack so hopefully we can get a bit luckier this time let's see where we are going to be going okay okay if we go to there then that'll bring us down to here we could bring this up to here and now this way we'll be passing by the A+ one panel which is good and then we can go like this oh and you know what if I go like this will this be perfect okay let's see so we'll pass by here get that get the A+ one head down here okay and we should be able to deal some damage so this should be all right I think hopefully I have lined this up correctly oh yeah and the whole punch has a vulnerable spot yeah you want to attack it from behind cuz when you attack it from behind you deal a lot more damage there's the X2 panel it's too bad that we can't use that right now but this should help us with dealing some damage hopefully these are some good hits here let's see okay just great not amazing actually that was pretty bad and not great at all we're not dealing a lot of damage at all actually oh my face is down there I just realized that my face is down there okay and we are hit back a bit wait what are you going to do now oh you're glowing you're glowing it would be nice if we could have picked up our face time for me to bust out my super secret special Dam Smo oh is a Time Let's Hear It Make Some Noise waa is that a face wait Mario that's you your punched out face is stuck on the Dance Floor you better grab it quick that's so funny that you can just grab your face like that okay but what we want to do this turn is it'd be nice if we could do this you know what we might even be able to get our face too if we could go like this cuz I don't know how long this fight is going to last if we make any serious mistakes or anything so we could get the on panel we can get our face back that's nice that our Max Health goes up there we are oh this reminds me of back when I was testing what happens if you get hole punched repeatedly repeatedly what if you just make your health super low and you keep getting hole punch that was a fun mod to test that was one of the first mods that I made on my channel probably oh man cuz this was the first game that I was testing with mods so that was super interesting to test oh boy it was so cool to do that man that just brought back some memories oh boy those were some videos I made a while ago and the game's actually looking kind of laggy right now looks like there's a lot going on over here okay so there we go did the nice Earth elal attack over there and now since we're way up here since we use the Earth elal it flips over we Dodge it special attack no way you dodged my special move get back down here so I can two step on your face that's all right you're not going to be doing that I wonder if we'll be able to finish off the boss this turn or not though this is going to be a close one possibly so let's go like this so we could come here and let's see if this works and you know what we'll open up the treasure chest too just in case we need it I wonder if this will have money or other things inside it let's see okay A plus one oh and some money okay that's fine okay well let's do this attack now and I don't know if we're going to be finishing it off here I don't know if we have dealt enough damage cuz we got a little a little bit unlucky with come on and tear it off ah no hey hands off get your own Duds but I'm not cutting through rugs or punching holes yeah we didn't get to deal enough damage that's too bad okay are you going to hole punch my face now yeah too bad you can't block against that okay that's too bad that we couldn't prevent that attack okay now wait can we do the wait I was thinking can we do the thousandfold arm attack to finish it off but I think we might have to finish it off in a different way oh that's actually so sad that this didn't work the way that I intended it to originally go but we can still probably do this let's see if this works okay we get x2 and A+ one which is great and you know what let's also get an on panel because why not I think that that should work this should finish off the boss we should be finishing it off with our Hammer attacks this turn I think this should deal enough damage and wait what's going to happen to my face then let's see I'm guessing that this will be strong enough I I don't think you have to use the Thousand cold arms to finish it off either this attack or the next one there we go okay we defeated it with a hammer which is kind of funny a little bit antil climactic and we see the bottom getting torn off like that even though we're not tearing it off with our thousandfold arms which is kind of surprising but there we go the boss has flipped over oh man why would you have to harsh my groove we had it bumping in here let's keep it going anyway disco forever count it down let's go let's hear the countdown three two countdown everybody one and the whole punch boss explodes all of the faces go flying and all of the Toads get their faces back that's a lot of toads that we just saved right now look at all those toads we saved oh and I almost forgot about this we want to do this that'll be lovely won't it breaking that yellow streamer over there all that's left to do is to get rid of that streamer let's do it okay and let's save so we don't have to do that boss fight again in case something bad happens but you know what I have my Nintendo switch and my computer plugged in to backup power just in case so let's do this now thousandfold arms let's go oh oh I got to line up first and now I can whack with motion controls there we go it's fun playing this game with motion controls the first time I played it I didn't use motion controls but it is nice to use motion controls and the yellow streamer has been destroyed this is streamer number three so we've gotten rid of the red streamer gotten rid of the blue streamer and now we've gotten rid of the yellow streamer what a fun game what a cool concept how you go around the world you destroy these streamers and we want to restore Princess Peach's castle only two to go only two more to go this is really exciting are we going to have our celebration up wait what was in there wow oh the sun was in there I don't even remember that happening that's so funny I've played through this game yeah but I don't even remember that this sun was in the disco ball that's such a funny idea I can't believe that I didn't remember that yeah because I guess the sun got whole punched out of the sky and now it's going to be daytime in the desert but you know what the desert actually does look really cool when it is night and the lighting in the desert is really cool but I guess it makes sense that the desert is daytime that there is daytime in deserts like this and now look where we can go next this is going to be exciting captain or sorry not Captain Toad Professor toad is going to love going down there cuz the sun alter ritual has been observed now and here comes down this confetti congratulations yellow streamer cleared why is Professor tow not part of this celebration it's just Mario and Olivia would have been cool if we had the professor joining us too and the maximum capacity of our confetti bag will also increase Max confetti increase yes another
