[Music] hi i'm in a place where many people think is not real palestine but palestine is real it's as real as this new palestinian friends of mine as real as this palestinian license plate it's as real as the church where jesus was born as real as this palestinian food post office flag bank cafes and as real as this palestinian nightlife but even though palestine is real it's not an easy country it's not easy to live next to a wall that makes movement harder it's not easy to go through awful checkpoints it's not easy to live in a refugee camp your whole life like this and it's not easy to have no 3g network in the entire damn country if jesus was born in palestine today he would be palestinian and his life would still be hard that's palestine that's one minute [Music] hey the guy you see next to me built the longest car in his country here is how hi my name is ahmed and his father took their existing car cut it in half and modified it to go from this to this a real functioning limousine that became the first and only limousine in their entire country of palestine made from a simple car their limo is so long it needs a phone it has a power station mirror tv disco lights and music system it's a limousine made in a village this took me 50 days to build but let the music stop for a second and think about this if the same talent dedication and creativity existed in the us they would be on every tv station but for now you'll find ahmed and his family driving this village limousine on the narrow streets of palestine that's one minute see you tomorrow this is where we are on top of a city in the middle of palestine because this is the city of rawabi one of the only cities in the world built entirely by business not government this cost 1.4 billion dollars and made possible by this guy who is crazy enough to build a city with an underground theme park above ground mountain view tech incubators offices good restaurants shopping centers it's cool and a state-of-the-art english school with fingerprint scanners for attendance for kids a place for a mosque a church a winery and a real roman theater the largest in the middle east this is all built by palestinians for palestinians and women are involved many people wonder what the future state of palestine would look like and to those i say you're looking at it that's one minute [Music] olives olives olives i have just arrived to a country that's probably the best at making olives this is palestine it's a country where sixty percent of the land is filled with eight million olive trees some of these trees are thousands of years old older than rome and from each tree the palestinians make wonders they take the olives and turn them into gold this olives this palestinian olive oil can be quite expensive because here it makes good food even better and even the tree itself has become a symbol of the entire country from the same trees they make pickled olives olive soap and olive tree souvenirs come visit palestine and taste their olives trust me they won't disappoint that's one minute before you go one last thing that video you just saw i made using this camera and this microphone but for the first time ever i'm ditching my camera and i'm picking up my podcasting equipment because yes i'm starting a podcast it's called nas talks it's free and it's only on spotify and if you liked that video i think you're gonna love the podcast because i just wanted to make a podcast about things that i would listen to about topics that i want to listen to yes now stocks is 100 honest and raw and deep and by the way it's 100 free so keep your money and give me your ears because if you like this video i think you're gonna love this podcast see you on spotify
