[OUTDATED] How to install and configure EZDelivery | Supermarket Simulator Mod

I'll just drop it on here real quick to make a video to show you how to install my mod easy delivery um this is going to be quite dumb down so you know for people who maybe have already like modded the game before might need to skip a little bit through this um because I've got a clean save here and I'm just going to show you how to install the mod loader and with the model like actually in the game and then I'm also going to show you how to configure it a little bit to so you can use it exactly how you like it so first thing you want to do is head to the mod page if you scroll all the way down to the bottom or Not Here find the requirements and how to install it says mod requires melon loer so if you just click on the link it says that and then this is melon loer so what you're going to want to do is download the installer and then we're going to follow the instructions here it's pretty simple so you're going to select the game and we're going to find the games um like exe file so if you don't know where that is you can find that in Steam so if you right click Supermarket simulator go to properties go to browse under installed files and then this is your um file path to the game folder so if you just copy that paste it in there then this is the game so double click on that and then literally all you have to do is just click install and it'll download and install Mel load it onto your game so now if we go back here we've got a few new fun folders might look a little bit confusing but the only things that we're going to worry about is what's in this folder and what's in the mods folder so as you can see mods fold is empty so first thing you need to do now is to download the mods so if you go to file these are all the um all of the like mod versions highly recommend you to always go with the newest one however in this case um it adds the the newest version adds the auto feature which is turned off by default and I I'll get into a little bit about how that works later but um if you have any problems then and you want to go back to the version before you can this is 1.4 and then there's 1.3 down here and you can download you can download the old the versions if you wanted to but I mean it would be better for you to use the newer versions because if you have any problems they'll be able to help you out so if you just click on manual download it says that it requires melon loader we've already got that so I'm just going to click download and just slow download there you go so now it's download the mod and it's going to come in this ZIP file so if you have wiro szip or whatever I'm just using the normal Windows 11 um Zip Manager thing so if you just click on easy delivery and we're just going to extract so now we have the dll file just in a folder in our downloads so now we're going to go back to our mods folder once again if you don't know where it is right click on Supermarket simulator properties install files browse which I'll take you here and double click on the mods folder and we just going to drag that in there and then that's it the mod's installed now you can't change anything to do with the configuration of the mod yet until you've launched it once so all we're going to do is we're just going to double click and it it'll open this scary console and then open the game so if you just click continue and load into your save so I mean it's kind of hard to tell at the moment but the mod is installed so if you pick something up you can see rack information on the side so that's how we know that the mode is definitely installed so now that we've launched the game once we can quit back to desktop and we can start changing some things if You' like so if we go to user data folder and you have melon preferences. CFG if you just right click on this uh you can edit it in whatever you want I like to edit in notepad++ but you can just open up a notepad if you want makes no difference but that's what I'm going to do and then here here are your settings so keybinds fairly simple uh I'll keep a link in the description it is also in the um in the Nexus mods post a link to the unity websites it can show you which key codes you can put in here because some things might not be called what you think they are other than letters letters are obvious so L is going to be L and W's W whatever but things like if you wanted to use the insert key or whatever something like that it might have a different name so um there's just a website that just has a table full of all of the different key codes that you can put in here for it to work if you don't put if you put in a wrong one don't worry it won't like break the mod or anything it'll just like default it back to L so if you've changed it here and you're not noticing a change in game that's probably what happened then we have rack free slots and auto rack these are both true or false values so just make sure what you type whatever you type in is true or false so rack free slots allows you to so when you uh when you pick up a box and you go to Rack you pressing the button um or or when auto rack is on it'll actually put if it can't find a space with the item label already then it will put it in a free slot any old slot on any rack um but that's off by default so it'll restrict the item to only go into rack slots with item labels already on there and then auto rack R then is the new sort of experimental feature that when you um purchase a delivery it'll automatically fill the rack so you don't actually have to go out and do anything and it just sort of fills where where there is space um so far sort of working but there's a couple of little fun quirks to it that I need to iron out so it's there if you want to try it out you won't lose any items but uh things might just look a bit buggy or funny so if we wanted to change this then to zed which is funn enough you I set the default value and that's what I've been using when I've actually been using the mod um and we're also going to allow it to Rack free slots so just typeing in true if you hit save go back and double click open the game so if we go pick up a rack so pressing the L key nothing's happening if I press the Zed key and it goes back there now a way we can test if racking free slots these are my only ones that have item labels for pastor so if we go ahead and buy some pasta instead of telling us that the rack is full it should find a free slot and that's exactly what it's done let's put it somewhere over here I think where did it go I play the fun game of where I did it actually go ah there it is this slot was empty so it's put it in this free slot so that's how that works uh same thing goes for turning on auto rack not going to get into that now because it's literally the exact same thing um if you wanted to turn that on just change the false to true and whatever but yeah so apart from that mod is now installed we can use it and it you could make a whole bunch of deliveries might have a couple of full racks here actually ah but I've just turned the free on somewh right there you go and you can just pop all boxes in the racks for you nice and easy just like that
