not coming out that fast this is the real asent to Rattlesnake Hill the other one in Western Kansas was just a test this is the 67 right here so that's not yeah that's not real hard to get out oh no oh no not at all not for a Montana loggers kid with experience this where's that the 67's right there oh it's in the behind it mhm yeah that's doable pull this guy out of the way Y no front hubs but if we get that back rolling okay well I picked my car now time for you to pick yours you want the uh green Aspen station wagon don't you nope we'll have all the tools in the same spot he grabbed and we got something yep that good uh yeah I think that that's good that's [Music] good part of the reason I guess for cutting these is if a guy had to jump out of the way or something then you'd just give yourself AAR get that pry bar I just put it away never put it you still on it uh hold on I just didn't want to forget it here's the di oh yeah for if we St the blocks the other way then they can roll as the car moves you know what I mean oh you're leav just going to drag and see what happens and then if we have to pop HBS yep you're good you need a big one we could I don't think it matter we bit what's that can I pop it a bit a little maybe should we pop drums I think so unhook us okay bring that hood up sideways past the tree and then be room to angle floor that's okay well we have to the joke out oh like it's going to fall out oh give be in the way oh my well it's the exhaust kind of well it's it's all that hard stick go get that hoe then we have two fenders we could okay uh put that door frame and I don't know almost want to cut it off I see that thing being a problem this whole car is a problem yeah extra Dam going to do whip it whip that yeah whip that frame under yeah that'll work that not asth [Music] good okay uh we lost that door so let's Jack it [Music] up [Music] [Music] yeah it's working it's not a real wide car give it a lench a break Crusher guys are here and they're starting to move cars and stack so they can get a spot to move the crusher in 67 Impala is locked and loaded and now it is time to go hunt a piece of back glass and some moldings first car in the row 68 Pontiac but it's a post four sedan window will not work but we have got over here right one here we go they're usually so Rusty just pull them off with your hands if you ever transport one of these 65 to 68 69 70 71 72 GM M cars out of a junkyard or storage that's a project car like this want to be real careful you don't have your back glass blow out this is so Rusty just pull it we got a back glass one minute job for all those parts hey now it is time to get the back door glass this one super easy also couple screws peel your door panel off and you get down in there there on these 7/16 nuts just whiz them off right like that the hardest part there's a hole in that glass where little stud goes through you kind of got to work them over that that glass just lifts right out quickly you've got yourself piece of side window glass old Bonville had a good back seat cushion too my impales was pretty shot from sitting in the weather with no back glass in the car so this old baville helped us along pretty good with your boots give me that uh half in drive wob just have just like the 3 in one yeah hold that hold that once again Joe doing the work good pliers doing the filming yep the way it is sometimes this one goes into a weak mode oh I caught the saw all hitting the duty cycle we've pushed our tools to the limit on this chop broke one we broke one the old 67 it's got its rough edges like they all do but this thing's really a pretty restorable car so you can see obviously the back window being out didn't help it didn't do it any favors so floor pans and little work in the lower quarters in the trunk but overall this thing probably honestly one of the straighter 67s I've ever found doesn't need a whole lot of body work but again like everyone I've ever turned up all the door latches are seized and so it'll get the treatment get the seats out in the carpet and just to kind of assess where it's at and what it needs and between these other parts cars what I was able to get gathered for it I think this will be really good car to piece back together and title and become a project obviously we'll need to raid Joe's stock out here for the 65 and six control arms and spindles to make it a roller guy had kind of a bad habit out there at that tailor yard of just taking everything apart and those parts got scattered into the trunks of cars and unfortunately I fear that a lot of that stuff probably got scrapped before we got there wish I had been able to see it sooner and go down and look at all that short iron before they tossed it but it is is what it is so we got this car and got enough between all the parts cars here and down at the tailor yard to be able to piece this thing back together and it'll see the road again good wirers we
