Out Of The Area Double Header On A Ninja And Charger

all right we're down here in MIFA Utah we're on our way to Ephraim again for another double-header so much it was actually assigned to us last week and then got put on hold two pieces of collateral there was a 2010 Dodge Charger silver in color there's also a 650 ninja motorcycle I'm supposed to be black and the guy lives in an apartment complex out there we had a spotter from the finance company go by and she spotted the charger I didn't see the bike and my preliminary investigation I found a ad where he's trying to sell the bike online and in the ad he says that he drives the bike from Ephraim to Nephi everyday for work that it only has highway miles on it he's supposed to be working at this big plant here in me fie so he makes a quick to trip through this Canyon here every day for work on the bike so that's probably why the bike wasn't showing up there the given address we get into this place now there's the road right there dannyelle so they put it on hold because he made contact and at the last minute and made arrangements and so today the finance officer called us and said to go ahead and take it off hold we asked if they'd be willing to go drive by and see if the either one of the vehicles are at the given address and they said that the bike is sitting there and that the car is not and I'm guessing cuz it's gotten a little bit cool weather dropped over the weekend that he drove the charger here to work it looks like my suspicions are correct there's a silver charger backed in right there it's probably going to be our vehicle we got a security gate here at the front when we pull in I'm just gonna roll right through it and go straight to the charger what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna hook the charger take it with us down into Ephraim drop it at the impound and then yeah that's our vehicle double-checked it's not keys in it it's locked up enough room to pull the bun into that thing out yes sir is this your vehicle okay this is a repossession for the fight this is your vehicle you know somebody that works here absolutely yeah okay can you a confirm for me your name what can you come can you confirm for me your name my name is Hal Carlson I'm the HR person here oh okay so you're not the owner of the vehicle I have no no no that means I'm not no okay all right can you grab the guy that owns the vehicle because we can only talk to him about the vehicle his name is okay and so I'll just pull over right here and if you can't even come out and talk with us then we'll be glad to show you guys whatever paperwork you want I'm just gonna pull forward here I'll pull right over here by the door so we had somebody from HR come out contact us security guard at the front gate probably said he drove right by me okay hey dude sir good you know what we're doing you know what we're doing have you been in contact with your finance company oh you tired okay did they tell you that you had to last Friday to come in and take care of the loan no there's already a payment made payment ring okay well they called us houses to come pick this vehicle up so you may want to give them a call and find out why that's fallen through if you can take care of the phone then what we can do is we can drop this and leave it here there otherwise we'll have to transport it to their location and need I mean five minutes once I get my phone you bet buddy I'm just curious why you didn't come with the funk first we always took the vehicle first then we go in and make contact with the customer we found the only doing the reverse sometimes it doesn't work out for the best so this is more of a you know they seem to take care of a lot faster once they know the vehicles been picked up so it's all it is it's not not no disrespect to you guys anything like that is just keep the gates down hopefully have enough different offers hopefully I don't never have to go back at it or do this again for the guys everybody that comes in serve paper got all the things with it good deal that's and that's good to know them at least like to be contacted moving forward and knowing that the one that will do is will will give you guys a call and if you wanted you've got one your cards I'll keep it my truck and if I ever have another situation that comes up with your okay well sometimes we pull and walk to the front desk and I tell us to beat feet understandable so I've never come here before particularly but now that I've made contact with you and I know what your guys's policy as wonders in 18 years law enforcement oh you look kind of like you spent a little do this you know you know I'm just going because they have like a little security guard shack at the front that the gate was up and he's I'm like you know what your gates open this is an open parking lot you want to tell me you want to tell me to leave I'll leave but the cars on the back of my truck and I said I said I'd rather sit here and work with your custom with your employee and see if what we can do but you know I'm being cool I suggest you stay cool you know the guy kind of changed his tone a little bit but nothing at all so that $600 is claiming a cake I'm gonna go ahead and roll out it I mean do you want me to wait and see if he takes it over the phone okay that's what I thought all right I'll head towards Ephraim I'll get this dropped and then we'll run up and over and get the bike at the apartment and keep going from there yep talked a little bit bike yeah they said he haven't received a single dime from him he was screaming he's made of six hundred dollar payment you know that's a lie Oh hopefully he's not inside just calling somebody to have them move the bike you know that's what we're gonna go after next we talked to the manager he over there she said they haven't received any payments from you and so she called the branch that I guess you don't really deal with and they said that they haven't received anything either so all right he's on the phone right now with the finance company they'd go ahead and give us to go ahead just to go ahead and bring them the vehicle so we know there's two cars not coming off the back I've got the door open in the wheel secure with the seatbelt so I'm gonna try to get a key out of him before I leave make it easier to park in there impound they've got kind of a small bullpen and they've got a few vehicles know that we put in there recently so easier to drop this and drive it in there to try to maneuver it in there I mean I can do it either way but we figure wall did you get all of them yeah she's gotta talk to whoever to see if they'll allow you to drop it Mitchell call okay you talk dude you talk with the branch manager directly okay of course that's why I wanted to wait for a second see what was gonna go on but if you need to get something either you're welcome to go ahead and do so you have the driver doors unlocked sure yeah and you'll get the same key back with it okay what's up she couldn't get a hold of anybody except for like a corporate level or something basically like there's nobody local she'd speak to she said that they're they're not they're not gonna let you drop the car today okay I have to go physically talk to them in the deeper branch nice to meet face to face okay you want to run in and grab the key we'll figure I'll back up down there and I'll just walk it back down okay all right here okay gate all right so he's gonna go get a key he doesn't want me to back back down in front of the office so I'll give him a few minutes to see because back out with the key and then we'll get on the road look at this Transport has been hit over there was a perfect the ninja get it picked up and loaded transported it back to our area so that all those just according to that plan you know we gave him an extra pin here 10 15 minutes he's gone for the whole time talking they've just made it clear to him that they're not you know this isn't going to get dropped or resolved at this moment they wanted to come into person to talk to himself the job gotta be able to do the repos when the repos have to be done give people a little bit of time when it's warranted so it's one of the times we got to leave the vehicle whether they call Street Bowman you repossess collateral it's like you came back out it's kind of hard to miss in that orange helmet orange t-shirt walking his way with a key lanyard hanging for his hands he's complying bringing us the key it's gone his phone texting himself he's not setting up with somebody in town to hide the bike and see whats owners keychain grab some more stuff out of the car is the key I'm gonna look and see as he hands me the key if he takes it off the keyring I'm gonna see if there's what looks like a Kawasaki key in his hand this is one of those moments where you decide do you say anything about the motorcycle or don't you if he's sitting in his apartment with the steering wheel locked and he's got the only key to it there's really nothing anybody could do to help him remotely we've got his cars there's no way he can beat us there but at the same time if it's sitting there unlocked where there's a spare key with a roommate or the keys not in his hand at all then he can call somebody and tell him to go hide the motorcycle and then we ended up getting the second piece of collateral for the finance company so I've got a carefully judge what to do here got it all yeah I just registration for my other car oh okay gotcha I can tell you super careful with it but well I $3,000 bodykit $2,000 $5,000 paint job for chilidog truck ten grand in that car in like two months ago Wow right before them identities phones won't be a scratch on it look just like that when you get it back so it'll be at 30 from location all right sorry hit you at work but ya know it's the other my way to Ephraim and I was go through your notes and stuff I saw that you me fight I'm coming from Utah County south of ABS jump off the freeway see if he's at work and here's the car so I go to work and I hate to get people at work because I know that it's a you know now you gotta get a ride be from and stuff so you gotta even family down the other can come up and grab you since none of your heart oh really geez dude over here can you get off early and I'll give you a ride down there well that's right now that's the way I'm head right now oh yeah yeah all right well where things out with evidence you can to get your stuff back yeah it up later this cars got factory plastics factory paint job factory wheels factory hood spew the story about all the tens of thousands of dollars he's put into the vehicle there's a way of emphasizing that he wants us to be careful but as far as 100 percent factory I've seen enough of them I played along guys I thought wow that's cool that's great oh we'll take care of it don't worry I don't care if the cars a Lamborghini or a frickin Toyota Prius I'm gonna take the same care no matter what but you just felt like you needed to share that with me figured maybe if you told me that he'd put $10,000 into this vehicle I might take better care of it or something I don't know what we got the key I didn't see the keys his hands just felt like what the time to say anything about the motorcycle we'll just deal with this we'll be down there spotted or he said it at the apartments maybe he thinks we don't say the commodities still got the bike when he gets home it's almost the bike misses no they got both pieces of collateral well hadn't in a canyon in this transport the second part picked up about 30 minutes $10,000 and modifications and upgrades in the last few months until his identity was stolen which is why I'm picking the vehicle up his exact words it's a factory hood factory ground effects factory everything besides if a guy had that kind of money to put into the vehicle I'd be like why did you spend all that money just to not be able to cope with the car payment things people say make themselves feel better hi it's go get ourselves a ninja this apartment complex a black ninja plate starts with Bravo 95 last before the bin is 3765 there's a black ninja right there and looks like the wheels unlocked problem 9 5 the our bike here with the handlebars plastics it's good it's good as we lift the arm those are gonna tighten there the suspension to collapse secure the rear tire like so
