all right so we stopped off in Mexico real quick because we want to see what the top speed uh raptor is let's see if we can see what the top speed of the Raptor is at 100. it actually pulled pretty hard oh I ran out of a Runway [Music] [Applause] [Music] what is going on labor Nation hey white right Nation it is our friend Victoria we had a long night last night Britney's at the house getting the house ready for uh Trail hero I stole Victoria today because she's in town for trail hero because uh we had to drive like three four hours away to come pick up our brand new Ford Bronco Raptor now we couldn't find one at a dealership so we looked all around and I know people think that dealerships just give us our Ford or Jeep who just give us free vehicles to beat up on that's never been the case it's not the case it never will be the case so we're at uh we're at a guy's house here picking up a new Ford Bronco it's got 30 miles on it sells all the Plastics on it he hasn't even driven it he picked it up from the dealer on a trailer trailered at home drove a mile down the street to put gas in it and that's it so um I know everybody was mad all our Ford Bronco people were mad that we got rid of our Badlands Sasquatch but I just didn't like it I didn't like the issues I didn't want to start building it to make it this big awesome beast when I didn't even like the interior and there's no interior parts to dress it up and make it look nice we spend a lot of time driving and I do like a nice interior this thing has a nice interior this is what I was wanting this is everything that I was wanting and hoping and wishing for out of a Ford Bronco so now it's time for this journey to begin so as you can see we had a choice between black white or this orange and I think the orange just pops it really pops gonna look great on camera it's got the beadlock capable Wheels already it's got the blue leather interior so it's suede still has a plastic I just pulled that plastic off so it's got the Suede and leather interior it's got the carbon fiber upgrades so all the carbon fiber inside this thing's fully loaded so the hard top in these actually have some insulation to them um this is a top of the line it has literally every package even the splash Raptor Graphics don't know what I think about those doesn't look as bad in person as I thought but no this thing has literally every option you could get except for like the storage bag accessories and stuff like that this is it this steering wheel is super sick I love the thickness of the steering wheel I love that it has paddle shifters now everything about it this is what I was wanting stitched leather Dash this was the caliber of vehicle that I was expecting out of our Badlands uh Sasquatch that wasn't even close to that so there's tons of reviews online already about this I don't really need to go over the driving and I haven't driven one but I'm pretty sure it's super fun I know since there's body rolling this and that I love the soft squishy suspension on-road because you don't feel speed bumps you don't feel rocks you don't feel other cars when you run them over none of that so I think we're gonna skip all that I might talk a little bit about it but trailer hero literally starts today and I think we're gonna be the first ones to go out and Rock all this thing and send it through the dunes and send it through the whoops and actually do some real world testing because everything that's on the internet right now is all put out by Ford and Ford media where they you know let other influencers as you saw we weren't never invited but there's other influencers who've gotten behind the wheel of this and got to go on like something set up at Johnson Valley or something something that Ford put on it was a closed course and they got to go over exactly what they knew this thing was capable of or within its safe limits nobody has done or is going to do what we're about to do to this and I'm even gonna tell you MSRP on this is like 80 grand we're paying a hundred and fifteen thousand dollars for this thing right now to buy this like today to have it at Trail hero I could have bought one for a hundred but I wouldn't have it for a week or two then we go out of town and we've got drift week and all that other stuff so I wouldn't be able to do the content so we're literally paying to have it right now to start beating it up and start actually testing hopefully we don't break anything hopefully there's no tie rod issue because this thing is stuck and we're gonna go beat it up stock like we're gonna go and actually start testing the limits of this I don't want to destroy it but I do want to test it I do want to do things that isn't like Ford approved you know and everybody kissing Ford's butt to make it look good and not really tell you anything that's bad about it and just going through saying it's the best thing ever built and maybe it is maybe this is going to be the baddest most awesome amazing rig ever built for off-roading and all around well Rock Carlos go to the Jeep I don't know this thing's badass it's got tons of flex not as much as the Jeep does but it's probably pretty close it's got tons of suspension travel but again my problem is right now if you Google anything about the Bronco Raptor on YouTube it is all just stuff put on by Ford which I get it right they're just hitting the market right now but I don't suspect people are paying 90 100 110 000 and they're gonna take it out and go do what I'm about to do to this so if you're interested in seeing exactly what this thing will do and won't do and hopefully it doesn't leave me stranded in break because I guarantee there's no different parts for this thing available if I break something I just have 115 000 paperweight let's hope that that's not what happens here because that's not my goal my goal is to hopefully I hope this beats Jeep I hope this beats the crap out of everything Jeep's ever built I hope I but I don't know let's get in it let's go drive it I'll tell you a little bit about driving as I wasn't going to but we got to have some kind of video but we're going to take it from here four hours south and and really go like start beating it up but first let's drive it and let's get like Britney's Impressions and maybe my dad and Chris and Beck and we'll we'll let them sit around and crawl in it and I'll film that okay it's finally mine like four hours later bank transfer went through we're driving it this thing sits tall right away you get in it it sits it sits tall you feel great you're like up here I will say the very first thing I jumped in it the seat didn't work so this has the leather upgraded seats which means it has power driver and passenger seats it would go up it would go down the back would go back and forth but the seat would not move forward and back and he's like well you have a warranty here you go and I'm like I know but so luckily fooling around the clip for the motor was undone but it took me like a minute because I was like this makes no sense I was sitting there jiggling it wiggling it it feels great I love the thickness of the steering wheel it's definitely more peppy like it feels like a good motor this thing I don't care should have came with the V8 I don't care what anybody says they have the new Ford um F-150 Raptor r as a V8 this should have came with the V8 end of story anyway other than that this motor feels much better than the two seven and this is on 37s and I know it's got 470 gearing but this feels hands down it's it's much much better the suspension is great I mean I I just hit some dips really quick and it's um I'm gonna have some fun in this I'm sure we'll change it all up eventually but for as it sits I am much happier within the first five minutes in this the seats fantastic the seats are absolutely you compare them to the Bronco or the regular Bronco and the seats in this and I would not get the vinyl seats I know people there was a lot that I was looking at that had that kept their vinyl seats with these newer setup I would not do that go for the leather upgraded interior you'll get the stitched Dash which is a soft touch not a hard plastic like in my other Bronco definitely love the carbon fiber upgrade it just adds a nice touch inside the steering was phenomenal the paddle shifters are great the big screen which we had in the other one I mean oh this thing is definitely one thousand percent what I was looking for when I ordered the other Bronco I like the power seats too Jake doesn't have power seats betcha Jeep will probably have power seats I mean she gets up it's no slouch it's no sports car but it's no slouch it's not bad it needs an ultimate nine um pedal at her so it gets rid of the dead spot at the bottom but this is way better this it's way way better I'm thoroughly enjoying this okay you know the real test 75 miles an hour yes I know my other one was a soft top this is a hard top I can actually hold a normal conversation in here this is doable this is plenty fine this is not that loud 75 miles an hour is great I will say my other Bronco had a shake this one already has a shake it's brand new it has 30 miles on it this has a shake to it at 75 plus miles an hour it's fine at 73 and right at 74 it starts 75 it gets worse actually my Jeep on 40s and race tires with zero wheel balance does not Shake can anybody explain that I don't get it I really don't understand it but nonetheless it's an off-road vehicle so let's write that off let's just say well it's because it's an off-road vehicle it's going to be loud it's going to be creaky and it's going to shake but you get to do cool off-road things because that's what everybody else on the Ford bandwagon says and like everything that's bad with them they just go well you know you bought an off-road vehicle what do you want I'm loving everything else love the new gauges love the interior I am loving this thing I oh there's there's the shake okay now I know to a lot of people this may not be a big deal I think this is a huge deal look at all the measurements you literally have your vacuum oil pressure engine oil temperature transmission temp cylinder head temp you hit okay your air fuel ratio your freaking air charge temperature so you let your air intake temperature and battery voltage all that within the two screens which gives you everything you need to know when you're beating on this thing to make sure that you're not overdoing it I hate when they just give you a little bar graph like those normally don't tell you something's wrong until it's too late this actually is going to let you know well ahead of time suppose this actually runs 17 pounds it's not a 17 pound Spike and then it was off to 15-14 it's pretty good 17 pounds of boost do a tune on it and upgrade that I can't wait to get this actually off-road just driving it on the highway jeep has its work cut out for it these seats Big Comfy amazing the shifting everything like every mode they took time to really really really program in it is beautifully tuned I'm only driving down the highway we've had to hit the brakes hard a couple times and of course uneven Road surfaces I mean it blows Jeep out of the water yes the 392. this can't touch it this can't touch the engine and the transit of the 392 but everything else is so much better I know I'm not trying to piss any Jeep people off and I'm not swinging on towards us I don't care this is a wonderfully wonderfully put together vehicle aside from the seat plug not being plugged in right from the beginning so if they overlooked that God knows what else they overlooked but now it's a big vehicle but driving it ideally an F450 so the the bigness of it doesn't bother me until we probably get out into some woodsy areas some tight Rock areas more than likely that's going to bother me and it's going to be a problem the brakes are fantastic and the seats the seats are comfortable the power and heated I don't know why they're not doing cooled you might as well do cool at that point everybody loves a nice cool buttonholes but so far I can't wait tomorrow to get this out into the dunes and go play with it but I gotta say I am right now I'm I'm actually happy and Blown Away with this and it's quiet 80 miles an hour it's quiet compared to the soft top night and day I mean it's it's not even the same I'm I'm happy with this I'm not happy with the price I paid but I'm happy with this anybody that has a reservation for one if you're an off-road person this is very freaking good and I can't wait to take it out I hate that I'm gonna hurt it I'm I hate that the doors stick out because I want to go do some trails that I know would damage the doors and I don't want to do that this is absolutely awesome I do love how all the dash has changed to different colors depending on what mode you're in one thing I gotta point out is you can't see anything between say the tire and then that's the third brake light you're seeing that big Square thing and then you can see that you can see the traffic behind me or all right speed limit here in Utah is 80. this thing is freaking oh God I wish you could see this this thing is shaking maybe you can see the seat that kind of shows it the shadow shaking on my leg uh yeah I don't I don't understand uh like I can't even do the speed limit without it shaking like crazy brand new freaking vehicle brand freaking new I can feel it in the steering wheel I ran out of room and then the runway um I will say when that hit that gear at 100 and kept going it actually pulled pretty hard so if you remember the 392 stopped at 99 miles an hour and that's speed rated by tires which is interesting because there's three those were 33 inch tires these are 37s and out here in Mexico we just hit 104 miles an hour and that wasn't it I just had to hit the brakes because I added the brakes and the reason I say weird is because Vehicles normally limited by the tires that get put on them because the 392 can clearly go faster than 99 miles an hour but they're normally speed rated by the tires this is interesting curious where it's gonna stop all right A Little Mexico action let's see what we got yeah I'm not even a hit save here actually like I don't know where I know where the end of that but it's stable at 100. so according to google 111 is in fact the top speed so I guess I hit that out here in Mexico we just took a quick detour over there um it's like I guess I hit the top speed and can't compartment didn't hit 111. I just that's exactly what I let out and then I Googled what the top speed was I guess I could have just done that instead of driving all the way down to Mexico just to test the top speed but uh anyway we're headed home and uh let's see with it but Brittany and Beck and Dad and everybody think of this I like it except for the shaking but I'm just trying to pretend it has a massage feature and that helps ease my mind better shaking I know I get it I can just do a wheel you know wheel tire balance and all that but still that's not the point it's a brand new freaking vehicle and it shakes I mean it has it comes with the massage feature [Music] [Applause] we just got home I'm going to change out the bfgs and some nittos but like look how big this thing is like this thing's on 43s like look how massive look how much crap there is to hit compared to like this and I know this is an old ass Jeep and all that but still it just gives you the sheer size that is hilarious absolutely hilarious anyway we're gonna hook up the tire machine and stuff and I guess get some uh actual tires on here that it'll do some better work these really aren't great this is great for snow but yeah no we've got some nittos that are good for everything and we'll do way better out here so here we go all right so we got the 37 inch bfgk02 is off and we're going with the 37 new Recon Grapplers no wheels on either side by side so you can see the Recons are actually taller I haven't looked at the rating on these yet but go ahead like push down on the BFG like push both hands push down so I mean like I guess that's good for compliance but I would be concerned about sidewall now push down on the bridge Grappler ride but like I'm gonna trust the carcass of that more this is probably a softer ride because I mean look out like like it literally just just collapses that thing's heavy as hell and we're gonna be commanding of it and looks like we're gonna get a little bit more fight out of it by just having uh these new Recon Grapplers plus look at the tread so this is their new all-terrain versus the ko2s these pack this just looks more aggressive that almost looks like a hybrid but it's not this is their new all-terrain the new Recon grapple oil train so anyway let's Mount that up now keep in mind with these noodles they have two different sidewalls so you see this sidewall here it's got this kind of cool looking aggressive sidewall and then if you flip it around you've got a completely different sidewall so make sure if you're mounting these yourself you know that they have two different sidewalls and you can pick which one you want so you're not mismatched on your sidewall but these are d-rated tires I just looked them up on the sticker and then these load range C so six ply and eight ply I believe but either way that seems crazy soft all right so here's the first one down so I went with this kind of aggressive pattern here and I noticed remember this thing was shaking there's zero wheel weights on this very highly doubt a 37 inch tire balanced out to zero now I don't have time I do have a balancer I don't feel like messing with it I'm just gonna leave these how they are I'm just going to put them on and then I'll balance them later I'll take them to a shop so these are both mounted so you saw the two earlier that weren't mounted now here's the two that are mounted so there's Nitto and the bft they're both brand new like this has 300 miles on it so there's no way it's worn down not a huge amount difference but it's definitely a bigger tire I was gonna go with 38s but I was learning either told me it was rubbed so anyway yeah is there any wheel weights on this one there's no wheel weights on this one either that's weird I could have swore I saw wheel weights on one of the wheels okay so there's no wheel weights on either the front and the steering wheel was shaking in this thing now I'm curious because I swear I saw wheel weights did they just not balance they just didn't balance the wheels no they I guess they just forgot to balance the wheels that's cool thanks Ford no wonder it was shaking that's hilarious so dark in here but we got all the tires on looking good so they do look a little bit bigger they come Real Flush but now it's time to take off these steps so there are rock sliders here don't trust them very much but if I go rock crawling I'm gonna destroy these steps so these just look like they unbolt with a couple Allens I think it's just those two bolts there there and there and then the steps come off then we'll have a little more break over clearance and then hopefully these are strong enough to protect the vehicle until we can get some actual rock sliders on here all right so it looks like you take some t-40s get all these guys out and then the step just hangs here has a stud here that one does too so I'm just gonna kind of pry on it with the screwdriver if you don't want to scratch anything I don't care because I'm going to scratch the hell out of it but you know use a plastic tool or maybe put a cloth in between the screwdriver but I'm just going to kind of work that in there maybe there's a bolt I don't know it's not coming okay I need to get under there and take a look okay so you don't pry on it after looking in there it looks like it's slotted so I think that'll do it yeah not easy to do with one hand so yeah it's just slotted and there she is hopefully once I come down on some rocks on this it'll still line up I don't know how sturdy these are gonna be and also these don't really protect anything it lets you come down on a rock but man look how much further that door sticks out like you can't even see the slider gotta really be careful to not damage these doors because these sliders do not kick out far enough and those steps are not strong enough to protect anything if you come down on them all right so I pulled these lights off so I don't damage them if I'm gonna go rock crawling they give you this tool kit but uh you can't take them off with the tool kit and it's a really cool tool kit they give you a lot of stuff you can get most of it but there is one bolt right back here and it has a sliding clip that's attached to the uh the lights you see that guys so that has to come out just enough well this is the one that works on it but you can't get in there with that there's no way that thing comes way out here so this is what I had to use an extension and it's a 230. so this long guy right here fits but you can't get enough leverage because it's way too tight yeah so that worked really well you just need a little extension so you do have to pull this plastic off up here there's a bunch of pull tabs on this guy it's pretty simple and then pull straight out because there's Clips here and here as you see I didn't pull straight out at first and I broke that one won't be a big deal it's not going to go anywhere but don't want you guys to break them so that's super simple and then the rest all comes out so I'm gonna throw the bolts back in throw the cover back on and we're ready to go ready to go rip this thing God my phone is not focusing today all right so we got the nittos on no weights anywhere the only weights that were on it with the bfgs was on the right rear and the spare tire we're doing 80 miles an hour and it is smooth the seat's not shaking steering wheel is not shaking at 80. zero weights didn't balance them because that was annoying yesterday brand new vehicle shaking they didn't balance them they only balanced the right rear and the spare and the spare had like seven ounces on it and now I am driving and there is there's zero issue at all this is uh is more like it this is awesome [Music] wow this thing really this thing is impressive this thing is so impressive all right all right all right so I already put I already put noodles on it but there's look at that it's less orange than I thought it was gonna be it's not as red as the stepchild it's not tacky orange at least it's not burnt orange that's what she means she's an Aggie she hates the Texas Longhorns because obviously Aggie is that not more solid that's better than the other person why it doesn't sound like I like how that was the first thing that I checked I know so I pulled the I pulled the fog lights off the bumper already to make it ready for rock crawling the fog lights look really cool and I like it there right here yeah okay it looks really cool but I don't want to smash so what do you think it's a beast it's massive isn't it how did it drive it drives great well it shook like every other Ford we have like that one in that one and yeah it shook so I put these Recons on it last night no balance anywhere went and drove it 95 miles an hour on the highway fine smooth glass do you like it better than the the blue waffle or whatever it was oh Plan B so this is yes and no so it's hard for me to like this because I know how much we spent on it oh that makes it bad because I'm looking at it I'm like no I don't like it because it's not worth what we've paid for but in the sense of I'm gonna go off kind of what you said driving wise I'm gonna assume this is at least a much better starting point oh to put money into and actually build a ring all hands down yeah hands down if I could get this ready for kicking the Hammers in two months I would be racing King of the Hammers in it but we can't do that I'm still not a fan of these but you know what I don't think it all looks as bad now that it's on the ground because the only time we ever saw it was it was like up on a platform but the interior the interior is infinitely better than the other ones and we don't have the Marine grain vinyl that we just just wet yeah again so yeah I've already showed all the interior and everything yeah sit in it I pulled off the steps too it had steps but okay I don't want to smash them I mean I still I still oh this is different yes it has a bar it actually has a bar it has a bar the other the other Bronco does not have a bar there yeah I think it's stiffener I still love the fact that it's so roomy it feels even roomier honestly the interior is a lot nicer I'm not what do you think about the blue though the blue and the orange I didn't think I'd like it but I was right but it's not as bad is in person as I was thinking it was I was right blue because because it's tasteful there's like there's like the little you know accents little accents everywhere between the sticks you can the seat belts and stuff that it kind of helps isn't that weird blue interior with orange and it actually doesn't suck like it's awful yeah so it actually looks pretty good and I will say I hated the Raptor stickers but again when you see in in photos it sucks in person it Blends it all together it doesn't look terrible it's a little terrible but it is kind of yeah it's kind of like the fender vents but but if we had paid MSRP for this I'd be super excited for sitting here the price tag that we kind of yeah I will say but I I am excited to build this I will say it was so expensive and it's so pretty and it's so cool looking that even I don't want to go out and and ruin it right now yeah but we're about to yeah also there's a uh there's a present out in the street if you can hear a truck and chains going on oh yeah and know it's finally here it's not like it it would be much more than all right again it's just the price tag I can't my brain can't get past that I'm not involved in that part of the price the money yeah I don't care about the price I gotta pay for it I liked it I'm gonna go out on a limb way early before I've even off-roaded it I did I went off you know behind the gas station over there yeah I'm gonna venture to say and I hate and I think I've already set it on the camera I'm not around you this is probably hands down the most well-built capable off-road vehicle ever built all around like on-road off-road high speed low speed can something else do like one thing better or you know what five this is gonna be the most all-around well-built from top to bottom because I haven't ridden in it yet but I can understand why you would say that not saying that I disagree I can totally see why you would say that but I don't have a personal yeah I can't do that yet well for somebody who's professionally beat the crap out of everything you've driven yeah I trust your judgment yeah I haven't taken it off road really yet so I don't know but if this is if this is even 70 as capable in the Rocks as I say a Jeep is then it it would blow the Jeep away in by far in every other aspect it's supposed to be beefier so it should be it's more capable than our other one was except engine wise the 392 just like obliterates this thing like absolutely obliterates it so uh we'll show you what's on the truck over here and then I think we're gonna close out the video okay it's finally here it's finally home that's good right there it's fine you're all right that's it demon child's here we got Plan B here stepchild it's it's a whole Fleet I am besides myself I can't even I I I'm like which one which one do I choose I mean the demon child is just a ripper but I gotta go test that Bronco we know what Jeeps will do and I really don't want to mess the demon child up because it's so pretty
