this video is brought to you by Squarespace welcome to India hi with Steven Jess Hunter and baby Kaa a traveling family from Australia next 2 weeks we're going to be traveling with 48 people exploring the Golden Triangle here in India welcome to the Flying The Nest Expeditions a chance for us to travel with people like you people who make this channel possible and we get to experience the World by your side and let's just say oh my goodness what a place to take people to get your wild out here space f we're in the Spice Market absolute Madness that's what India is all about much but even if sometimes it's a bit chaotic there is little that compares the beauty and friendliness of this incredible Nation welcome to the the way it reveals you incredible have you got Tails yeah oh my gosh I'm tearing up so special to be able you take your kids [Music] here at least one person's excited for the early wake up hey buddy good morning to night night time it's night time let's go to India wait we're in India let's go to Delhi D died don't remember where I am go who sets these early flights Mommy does cuz she books the flights it's true it's all me we're leaving from coachin airport and we weren't sure how busy it was going to be but it is a super quiet airport well I don't know if it's quite just because it's 6:00 a.m. right now but very easy checkin ready for the chaos with Deli yes I'm ready exed to see everyone and now got to go through security and then we get to fight a deli so we had to Google we should fly and everyone said that the best airline here in India when you're flying domestically is vistara so that's we've booked because they didn't want any delays or any cancellations and they sent this one so let's check it out all right let's do [Music] it little bua up too early yeah up too early and we've taken off leg room is um I've got long legs wow yes I know no screens but flight was on time seats are pretty comfy though at least we got one baby down to sleep make that two [Music] babies so everybody welcome back back to India currently the capital city of Delhi where most people who come to India will start and you see we got the beautiful redf of Delhi behind us but we thought as this is our Expeditions let's just Chuck everybody straight into the deepend and take them through old Delhi today which is going to be fun out of your comfort zone but it's why you come to India ride to try something completely different it's definitely one of those cities where you have these pockets of absolute Beauty as you have these shrines these temples these MOS look around and then there's the chaos of and deli around you so we've curently come down to the heart of old Deli it's called Chandy chalk it is so busy just to put into into perspective in Australia we have around 26 27 million people living in the whole country here in Delhi there are 26 million people living just in this city it is wild but I feel like if you want to come and really Embrace what Delhi is all about you need to come down to this area like there is people driving around in Rick Shores cooking food selling their stuff we saw someone cleaning someone's ear before ear cleaners hairdressers just on the side of the road absolute Madness I feel like that's what that's what India is all about so during our many travels which of course we are so thankful to do uh we're able to be introduced to so many different cultures different foods flavors and religions and when you've seen a lot of them when one really stands out you remember it and a lot of people here in India are actually sick so SI ik you know if you see a lot of people walking around uh generally they'll be wearing turbans you can identify them as seik and here at the temple which we are going to be visiting right now we're going to learn a lot more about the seik religion and last time we were India I just it just stuck with me just how much they care about hard work and giving back yeah let's go inside share more with you guys and what is so special about coming here is that you can come and you can eat here all for free no matter your religion your race how poor you are how rich you are all the food is provided for free and it's really nice because you can come come and help in the kitchens come give out the food give a helping hand it is really special cuz like all the community coming together you come to Delhi I feel like it is the number one thing you need to come and do have you ever seen pots this big full of Curry so a big part of the religion is service and giving back so you can come here for 15 minutes an hour a day weeks and there's no how do you say it regiment like it's not just told you go work in the chatties you go work on the dll it is just if you feel like coming in and doing it that's just your way of doing service and giving back put your back into it that's what he said like you guys better enjoy my lunch it's so sweet Hunter's just jumped in she's with a bunch of local women and they're teaching her how to make Patty she's doing such a good job as well also I love how there's like a language barrier and they're just like treating her like a grandma would like just flip it roll it not flip it like it's so cute in the theme of the last few months Hunter continues to put on her brave face and try anything it's honestly so surreal and amazing to see her do these things and it makes us so proud of her growth she's really growing up to be an amazing little girl girl honey such a special experience you got more to do see they definitely put the street in street food here in Del out of everything we have tasted and eaten in India last time we were here the one thing I am craving the most is some local Masala chai please get your chai it is made out of terracotta cups it's not recyclable so essentially you drink it and it's done we've just gone to this hole in the wall they've been cutting up to like top up a little Theros for us bring it into the street and let's have a CH it's a really good one yum it's a good one are you ready we're going to be exploring the streets now on a rick Shore heading to the Spice Market it's wild out here you guys thumbs yeah yeah we are I'm so excited nervous thumbs up thumbs down I'm good up here you go thumbs up thumbs down THB thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up let's go my goodness I can't even get through here so we gone from the seik temple straight out on RS the adventure of Deli continues and and it's not even 2:00 p.m. yet and we have seen so much already really so much there honestly is absolutely no way to describe Deli unless you come here like this is just wow what are you you guys doing here hey where are you going we got to Fe him we got to feed him no we're going to [Music] win hi Hunter so we are currently walking through one of the oldest parts of the city and it's a really kind of cool spot to walk down because the roads are so thin you really just feel that you know encapsulating part of the city there are Rick shs coming past there's tuck tucks coming past side venders selling fruit craziest streets I love everyone keeps beeping and our Hunters beeping back at the beach it is Pure Noise Pollution trying to head through the place so just come to the largest Spice Market in all of Asia I can already smell it and we haven't even entered the building yet smells absolutely incredible yeah you see people just transporting it coming through you just got open spices which of course not very common in Australia just have open B spices just walk past and someone's fan like pushes the spices past your nose and it just smells incredible look at this I can't stop sneezing I can't stop coughing we're in the Spice Market I just love the back alley spice marker we've come through this is just so authentically Deli you can just see the giant bags of chili essentially ripping at the seam so they can bring as much to the market to sell just look at this [Music] wow did you get a flower how special did that make feel happier [Music] wow Hunter go show Daddy thank you what have you got a big b [Music] necklace all right come on let's go we all the W all the Nikes good here oh yeah we've just come out to the most beautiful mosque I'm pretty sure we came here in 2019 didn't we it's absolutely stunning there's all these like beautiful archers everywhere yeah I'm just chilling on marble here with the kids so nice we've come out to Jama Majid this is a 17th century moth made from Red Sandstone I'm currently standing on marble it is spectacular it hold up to 25,000 people you could almost call it like the tajra Hall of Del and you can just see why absolutely stunning it's so cool because on our first India Expedition we have people from past tours coming on that's right that's right he joined us in Finland Finland too baby Finland to you thanks so much for coming back thanks man thanks for having me so it's been uh quite a big day we've decided rather than walking back to the hotel we've jumped into a couple of cycle rurs the only thing is we are in traffic like a lot of traffic scary space f we just wanted to quickly this morning we are saying goodbye to Delhi we've come down to the local train station because we are going to be heading out to aggro and we thought rather than catching a bus heading on the highway we would do a local train experience and we're only like 5 minutes into it and it's already been an experience we're ready can't you we're ready see guys in the other end let's go check it [Music] out all righty see you later Delhi let's see what this train ride is like it's already been an experience [Music] thank you right welcome to Agra [Music] everybody so any trip to India you cannot miss coming to Agra if you're coming to Agra you don't only should come and see the Taj Mahal you also need to come to Agra Fort it is abs absolutely incredible and it is massive way bigger than the grounds of the Taj Mahal we're going to be spending the morning here and it all connects right so I'll give you some quick Layman turns history of India so I do apologize if I am paraphrasing but there are so many different kind of eras of India one of the main ones was the Mughal Dynasty that's when kind of India was formed from the Mongolians this used to be the capital of the mle Empire so this was finished by a guy called Shark Jan and this name you need to remember for building this incredible for and also he's the guy that built the Taj Mahal so it's really cool to come here kind of set the mode this is a grand for it is incredible red Limestone just stunning to come and explore and the sheer scale I can't even get that into video you just have to see it in person and it was so interesting they were talking about the way the defense worked at the Fort and they said it started off with crocodiles in the moat and then there was a wall and then there was Bengal tigers and then there was a wall and then there was the gunman so I feel like this was a for that you definitely didn't want to try and get into this honestly sounds like someone did the unlimited money power thing on Age of Vampires was like let's just put everything in to stop everybody and you can see the sport is still standing they must have done a good job like even this walkway obviously they could have had like archers up there it's a long walk you need to get through AG call a that she really have some sort of little barricade over that don't go too close what is that tole doing here Daddy Daddy I found the Taj from this fort built by the guy who made the Taj Mahal you can actually just make out the grand beauty of this world Wonder in the distance and one of the main reasons we love running Expeditions is the people who come and have fun no matter where they are one and two and three and four and five and six and seven and [Music] one two three feel emotional being able to bring my kids here this feels really thrill oh we're almost inside so we've taken the group out of course we're in India so we have to see the Taj Mahal oh I'm starting to see it again Hunter keeps calling at the Taj massage oh the way it reveals is just incredible oh it's it's one of my favorite buildings I get emotional this is the second time I've ever seen it but still feel emotional so so beautiful have you got Tails yeah look at that oh my God I told you it's amazing it's so much better than the pictures I've seen person different oh my gosh I'm tearing [Music] up welcome to theall it feels so special to be able to take your kids here I mean when we came here it was special as a couple but even more like not just Hunter but little C Bean as well first little world no world wonders or Hunter second Hunter what do you think of the Taj H it's t it's t it's the T I like that okay what did you think of the Taj massage was it good yeah yeah thumbs up or thumbs down big thumbs up so everyone was it worth coming to India for this we were so incredibly grateful to the amazing people who showed us this wonderful Nation this is only the first half of our trip but to be here with everyone in the group and our family was one of the greatest experiences of Our Lives seriously seeing this thing up close and personal is is just so shocking it's hard to believe it exists it's such an amazing bucketless item to see you all next week
