Our Epic 4 day adventure road trip along the Oregon coast

sometimes the unplanned Adventures are the best ones [Music] you're an idiot and I'm stuck oh my God oh my God a visit to Oregon and a visit to Astoria isn't complete without the famous house so that is The Goonies house right there is where chunk did the Truffle Shuffle you can hear the seals [Music] night one we're gonna chase the sunset and Haystack walk [Music] foreign [Music] day two [Music] oh there is no reason for that this morning step back there's two stars there's starfish see stars okay I said don't touch them put it back put it back [Music] The Tide is coming in the worker ran because she lost her sign there she is she saved it foreign [Music] Barry scone come here what is a marionberry I don't know but it was in Portland I like it slightly tart good it's weird it's kind of like a raspberry but a little more tartness yeah arrive at Crescent Beach petals to cross a beach we just made it to Crescent Beach in E Cola state park is where Goonies was also filmed this is where the Fratelli's Restaurant was constructed right we are gonna go do a hike I heard it's got amazing views and as I'm looking at this I'm thinking steep experienced hikers only I have experience being on trails and getting lost constantly [Music] all right I looked it up because I am for sure thought we went the wrong way I've read to keep walking through the forest until we find Coastal switchbacks that go all the way down to the ocean yep we made it we are the only ones on the beach look at that impressive Beach is amazing not a lot of people come here apparently it's kind of private we got real lucky nobody else here it's beautiful it's coming and it's coming and it's coming oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot that was fun not looking forward to it made it back to the car see the car in a very full parking lot so it took 50 minutes to get there we stayed on the beach for 45 minutes 40 minutes on the way back there you got it strenuous yes would I do it again yes I would by the way there was cougars back there this is what you need to do I did not know any of it I probably did it all wrong taste the cougar do not run stay calm okay I would have ran and screamed if I could act fight back that's great advice I would have done that I would have died but I would have done that so we've stopped at nakarni Creek Trail like 10 miles up from a Cannon Beach eight tenths of a mile not that lost that [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] let's talk about this Petrified Forest and you can only see them in the ocean if it's low tide you do have to cross a creek seriously foreign oh my God that's cold yep you're an idiot you're an idiot and I'm stuck oh my God oh my God yep all the way up to waste do you want to go back into it no you sure do you want the fluid no God here it comes again I feel like I took an ice bath was it planned no am I miserable yes I am you'll just dry off but the memories will stay there forever forever oh it'll be forever day three we stayed in Lincoln City last night and now we have traveled 10 miles south to Depot Bay world's smallest navigable Harbor we're here because you can see gray whales we got whales [Music] all right we saw the whales and across the street from the whales Arch Rock Cafe [Music] so you have to love the local they tell you all the cute little spots four minutes down the road there's a little spot called Rocky Creek apparently it's voted one of the most beautiful parks and you can see the whales here [Music] stop three and it's 8 30 in the morning we're gonna go find the devil's punch bowl apparently you can get down there so that's what we're gonna try because you know that seems safe it is a bad idea I gotta do it I gotta try it at least let me tell you if you can do that at low tide it's exhilarating it's a little scary and I don't get claustrophobic but just going in and coming out I tried to go as quick as I could yes I fell [Music] I was down but things [Music] next up Thor's Well you know the Avenger why things turn around I'm done with the bad I need a little bit of good we are at Cape perpetua City Scenic area this is the visitor center view actually higher view in just a little bit now I know why Pinocchio got swallowed that was a very cute Welcome Center you can sit in there if it's pouring down rain or if it's really cold just look at all the views now we're gonna go higher to the Overlook The Overlook is supposed to be the highest uh point on the Oregon coast they say you can see a whole whale a whole whale we're gonna walk up to the lighthouse Half Mile Trail foreign foreign this is what I do when there's no sea lions in the cave and they come through holes and then they end up wandering around on the surface are you serious yeah they they they're waiting to drop and go home with you stop this was a 30 nightmare cave is what I just went into oh my God that just gave me the heebie-jeebies they said they like to crawl up your sleeve I was not going to hold one I will pet one I will look at one from afar [Music] [Music] Ed good morning from Bandon we got in really late last night right after the sun went down so staying at the Sunset Motel it's right across the street from just two famous rocks everybody knows about one the Wizards hat yes it looks like Harry Potter sorting pack the other one is called Face Rock it's a face can you see it [Music] foreign [Music] just to take a couple of pictures for a couple of minutes and we've been out here for an hour now the sun has risen there is so many rock formations here the fog and the sun and it is beautiful I we can't get enough I we're ready to move here hello look at that rock he is gorgeous favorite beach ever you're a wizard Harry I made these reservations on Expedia they didn't have something on line on their own you have the face rock out there the Hat breakfast Oceanfront oh I'm ready to move pack your bags we're gonna move into the hotel we found a side Adventure driving down the coast there's a place called sister Rock and this place is beautiful when you get to hike all the way out there [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] the other side you've got a secret Beach you can go down there you can go here there's another Trail up here oh my God you can spend hours here yeah gorgeous every where four snakes I have seen he doesn't believe me so guess what I let him lead he can go find the snakes all right our first plan stop of the day and we are at the Samuel H Boardman 12 miles of beach wow the wind here unbelievable foreign [Music] hey guys look that we only have to go right there this is easy foreign California we are at Harris Beach South [Music] well I wish we could have stayed for sunsets I'm sure it's going to be gorgeous but we gotta get to the Redwoods read what they're calling they are [Music] I know it's sad one bad decision and you pay the price it's inappropriate I am soaked from my waist down what I didn't want to happen completely this is a total nightmare you never know where life's gonna take you it could take you to peanut butter sandwiches in the middle of Oregon at a park I have no idea where we are well chalk another adventure up [Music] how come the stars come to shine when it's dark from so far away show us where we are
