Damn onions again....
After watching a few of these sort first timers videos. Please explain to me why the by standers are so pushy and obnoxious to this poor girl who is trying to process what's happening while she's clearly shaken and in shock? Please let her breath...
I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this, but it's hard not to be an asshole about what they say in the video description.
You can believe that your god created science to help make this happen, but denying the role that science played in this "miracle" is just delusional.
Why? Because you live in a first world country and were lucky enough to have access to excellent healthcare. Saying "It doesn't matter that it didn't happen to others - It only matters that it happened to US" and failing to recognize how impossibly lucky you are, is incredibly narcissistic and self-centered.
Nothing makes me bawl more than people who were limited in some capacity overcoming that obstacle.
These videos! I'm crying, every time!!
These videos are amazing. I'm very uninformed when it comes to this stuff. Could someone explain how she is able to understand what others are saying? I understand that she is literate but I don't think I could connect it to speech without every hearing a single thing.
How can the sister not know what to say? She even sounds slightly unemotional/unimpressed. I know if that was my brother getting his hearing for the first time, no one would have to goad me into having a conversation with him. I'd talk his ears off.
Yep, this videos always get me crying like a little baby.
Listening to Moonlight Sonata while watching this made me cry a little bit.
It was nice.
