OT7 CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS PART 1!!! MORNING GAMES (SINGLE ELIMINATION)

[Music] at long last we are finally here it is Championship Sunday in Los Angeles California it is time for the ot7 championship presented by Adidas in his championship Sunday we are so excited to Crown our national champion after four divisionals we have finally reached the time we have a big matchup coming up first though the Legends are facing off second Midwest boom in the first round I'm your boy Kieran joined here by overtime Tom Tom what are we looking forward to today bro you got us out here a little bit early today 9 30 start I can't wait I can't I love it out here man yeah these teams are ready to go got a little Ocean Breeze out here we're excited to see these two teams matching up Midwest Boom the Legends teams that have performed really really well in full play but haven't really got it done during bracket play but here's the bracket right here obviously you got first round buys for all the teams Low Pro California power Trillium Boys around Miami this matchup this team's gonna be facing off against California power what can we look forward to between these two teams yeah whoever wins this game's gonna have a tough matchup but hey boom is two and three in pool play they had a strong day one but they've really struggled since then and legends they only lost two games in the first four divisionals they're one and four right now I'm looking forward to this transfer portal I mean one of these kids can go to one of those schools and then they keep producing they're gonna just transfer on up but Mike and Eugenia specifically the quarterback he's that Bishop Gorman do you think he could potentially more one of those power Five Guys yeah we'll see you know our our uh West Coast guy Brandon Huffman who I work with is a big fan I you know he was as soon as the tournament started so I keep an eye on eugeno um hasn't played a ton of Varsity snaps I think a lot of schools want to see that so you know he gets them there absolutely his stock had skyrocketed he's he's been unbelievable obviously Mike alejado he's the quarterback for him he threw a lot to Zach Branch last year Zach Branch's highlight tape is ridiculous it's it's up there with like the Anthony Thomas Tavon Austin type but I did have a question about uh one of the right receiver that we saw here earlier chance Wiggins we had him up here in the booth last game unbelievable Talent we talked for the first time he's a like lower ranked three star out of Virginia what do you think about him he's been coming to all of these tournaments to just like things I've seen chance Wiggins probably in five different states scattered across the country it seems like he's had every competition you know he's at every event no he's he's a really talented Prospect I think he's a guy that's gonna have a lot of success on Saturdays another thing that probably is separating him from some of the others maybe that top end speed but he's still able to create a ton of Separation he's got strong hands we saw him coming in play a little defense there at the end for level 82. 24K got to stop defensively and now they're back on the opposite side of the ball another fun Prospect we've seen number eight right here for pressure Martell Carter Martellus Carter Jr we saw him for the first time on smsb playing a lot with uh boo Carter who recently just committed to Tennessee another very talented player but what can you tell us about martells I think he's uh he he showed up to these tournaments and been dominating on the defensive side of the ball as well no absolutely he moves well in Reverse Good lateral quickness I remember him from the ot7 event in Orlando he was an eye catcher for us and I think we ended up putting him inside our top two four seven gonna be a guy to know next cycle right in the state of Tennessee he's really been producing some good prospects that guy right there Courtney Crutchfield I'm a huge fan of him number 12 out there on 24K yeah he said it to Arkansas I think they have an absolute steal so every year I do kind of a a freaks list where it's the freakiest recruits for that cycle Courtney Crutchfield is a candidate to make it on there he has insane track and field jumping numbers you turn on the basketball tape he's flushing it attacking the rim wow and you look at him right he's high hips so he's got those High hips and he's just super explosive and this really you guys want to talk about this tournament this is our first real live exposure to him okay you know he's a kid that's in the Natural State normally we wouldn't see him if it wasn't for this so we ranked him high we come out here me and my colleagues we're like all right first off we didn't even know who number 12 was we're like yeah and then you go up to him and he's like oh it's Courtney Crusher all right past the eye test yeah you talk about high hips I don't think any of us ever thought about that before there's some weird things that Scouts look at that I would just never think about when you're an athlete like me like high hits like my hips are high yeah is there anything else like that that you could I could think about oh frames right I mean this is as much as people don't want to admit it it's a it's a height weight Speed game right right and you guys brought up Lowepro and you know maybe they don't have the biggest kids but the evaluators at the next level are always looking for frames right if you're gonna miss you want to miss big oh what a cat oh 24K that was the real Hawaii what an unbelievable snag 24K taking firm control of this game pressure got to do something to respond here I I talk a lot of trash about 24K in the preview show I said that they were the worst team coming in but honestly they've that's how I felt I like so they you know you look at their recruiting classes what they've done it's a lot of big bodies up front a lot of good running backs but man I come out here to this and you see these two perimeter
