[Music] we're not downtown [Music] [Music] thank you the only requirement to start Zora is the completion of the regicide Quest these are the minimum stats result are recommended by the wiki but if you want more reliable trips I would recommend at least bumping up the levels to something around this range and if you're just here for the one diary kill and don't care too much about consistency then the minimum stats should be plenty however keep in mind that for the diary you will need to be combat level 100 anyways so it's better to work on leveling up your stats before attempting Zola if you want a better experience as for how to get there there are three main options the first is to Charter to Port Tyrus and run from there the second is to use the fairy ring code BJs which I once heard referred to as big juicy snake and I can never forget that and this does require 76 agility but it can be boosted with an agility potion lastly you can use the Zoll Andrew teleport scroll these are dropped by Zola at roughly one in eight chance and comes in stacks of four while you may not have access to these initially you can start collecting them and once you can manage two kill trips you should be able to sustain their use entirely now when it comes to gearing up for Zorro there are three main options you can choose from depending on what gear you have access to range only Mage only or swapping between the two well with any of these routes and it really comes down to your preferences and how comfortable you are with gear switching here are two basic progression charts you should follow for both range and Mage the key thing to remember here is that swapping between attack Styles will usually result in higher DPS than only range or only Mage methods additionally void can be a really great starting point because it can maximize your DPS while minimizing your switches it only has a slight DPS loss compared to a full range and Mage switch and it gives you way more inventory space for food making an appealing option for a starting setup if you want to do range only Crystal armor even without the BofA provides a significant accuracy bonus making even the normal crystal bow a strong Contender against all of Zola's forms and this is my personal favorite method for mage only full arums with an arum staff and tomal fire is a really decent starting option the Tama fire provides a significant 50 DPS increase with fire spells however the Trident is way more effective as it scales much higher with your Mage level and it allows you to be on lunars to use the Cure me spell which we'll go over later I tested all these different gear setups at the stats the wiki recommends and from my experience if you're just here for your one diary kill you can easily get away with the iben staff and Magic shortbow however truthfully if you want to farm this consistently I would recommend waiting until you unlock a trident or Crystal armor for better consistency and if you're stubborn and really just want to come here early at least wait until you have full aroms armor in a Tome of Fire now let's talk about your ring slot during the fight snakelings with one HP will constantly spawn and dealing with them manually can really eat into your DPS that's where the rings of recoil will come in handy as the snakelings will kill themselves simply from attacking you a major upgrade here is the ring of suffering as it acts as a ring of recoil that can be effectively charged unlimitedly while also providing decent defensive stats the last gear upgrade you can make here is the serpentine Helm which is dropped from Zora herself and makes you immune to her Venom this will come at a small DPS loss but if you happen to get the drop the quality of life Improvement definitely makes it worth using your inventory may vary depending on your setup but there are some important items to bring you'll need a few prayer potions and if you plan on getting multiple kills a trip a ranging potion as well but we will be pre-potting a ranging potion in the bank for food it's recommended to have alternating rows of carambons and sharks or any other high-level food Zorra can suddenly deal a lot of damage so combo eating is really important if you're unfamiliar with this concept you will click a shark first and then a karamblen in that order this will trigger the combo eat and you will consume both pieces of food in one action Zora drops noted Mana Rays so on average you can expect to receive around three manta rays per kill So eventually it will be possible to get enough to sustain yourself on these alone if you aren't camping one style make sure you bring your gear switch also bring either anti-poison potions or the runes for the lunar spell cure me if your setup allows you to be on lunars this spell acts as an anti-poison potion but without providing any resistances since Zorra always inflicts Venom the anti-poison protection from potions won't provide any additional benefit over the Cure me spell unless you're bringing along anti-venom potions but given the Steep requirements and honestly mediocre duration is unlikely otherwise if you can't be on lunars it'll take roughly two anti-poison potions per kill but this will obviously vary depending on your kill speeds if you aren't wearing your ring of suffering you'll want to bring at least one extra ring of recoil and make sure you break your current ring of recoil if any charges remain between trips as the charges persist between rings as I mentioned before if you have a trident as your Mage weapon or you are doing a range-only setup you can be on lunar so take advantage of the Cure me spell and bring the runes along for this alongside Vengeance if you meet the Mage requirement Zora has four distinct phases the serpentine phase which attacks with range and will apply Venom protects from range during this phase the tanzanite phase which attacks randomly between range and Mage with no indicator of the attack style we will prioritize protecting against Mage during this phase and the range attack will still also apply Venom the magma phase which attacks with melee and cannot be prayed against but can be avoided the Jad phase which alternates between range and Mage with every attack but the starting style depends on the rotation which I'll go over in a minute how to determine zolra will cycle between these different phases throughout the fight in different orders depending on which of her four rotations she's in and she can move between the four different spawn locations in the arena additionally zolra has two special attacks Venom clouds which she will summon around the arena that can persist for 10 seconds standing in these clouds will inflict Venom damage and the Damage dealt will vary depending on the phase but it can stack up very quickly so it's obviously important to stay out of them or get out of them as quickly as possible she can also spawn the snakelings that I mentioned earlier that will attack with either melee or Mage but only have one HP if you're finding this helpful you should totally go subscribe and be notified for future videos so normally I would say plugins can be helpful but aren't necessary but this time I would say the Zora helper is a game changer and invaluable for a beginner if you don't use it you'll either have to have these charts up on another screen or memorize the rotations which can be pretty daunting as a newcomer now it can be a little confusing to use it first but it's actually pretty straightforward you'll input the first phase you see after the starting Serpentine phase and it will tell you what rotation that'll end up being however if your first phase is a melee rotation you will have to enter in which side you see Zoll respawn in after the Mage phase to determine the rotation the one highlighted in green is the current phase and you'll read the next phases in this order as you progress through the rotation you can click the next phases as you get to them this really helps in keeping track of what you need to do next once you reach the last phase in the rotation you will reset it with this button and start again the most important thing to watch out for is the Jad phase which is represented as this half blue and green circle the starting attack cell will always be the leftmost icon once you know the starting attack style you can plan your prayers accordingly another really valuable plugin is anti-drag this allows you to adjust the time it takes to drag an item and it really makes gear switching so much more forgiving I've found that 10 milliseconds is really consistent and yet still very comfortable for everyday play the other plugins I'll be using are tile markers and true tile indicators you'll want to Mark these tiles these tiles directly correlate to the X's marked on the Zola Helper and are your instructions of where to stand during that specific phase the tile information is in the description so you can directly import them or you can use a plugin called tile packs that has built-in tile collections including one for zolra because Zora is a rotation based boss I think the best way to teach you is to cover how to handle each type of phase that you will encounter in any given rotation this in tandem with the runelight plugin should help you be able to handle anything Zola can throw at you at the beginning of every fight run to this starting square and try to get one extra attack in on the way zollra always begins in her range phase so if you're gear swapping you'll want to start the fight with Mage she won't attack you directly until the next phase so you don't need to have a protection pair on you but I would leave your offensive parazon for the duration of the fight there isn't a whole lot going on mechanically during the range phase so as long as you're praying range when she's attacking you in this phase you'll be fine during the melee phase only when you are standing at either end of the Arena you will need to transition between two tiles to dodge her attacks she will do two melee stabs that can stun you if you are hit by them and you cannot pray through them her animations take a long time so you can easily get an attack in between her stabs just prioritize getting into position first if you're using range only attacking the snakelings while moving into position during the melee phases and protecting from Mage can be a great way to mitigate some damage the melee face has pretty high defenses so range doesn't hit super often unless it ends up being more beneficial to prioritize the snakelings first for sustainability Zara's Mage face can be pretty annoying since she can still use her range attacks without any indication of when so we'll be focusing on praying Mage but we will be tanking the range attacks this should really be the only phase you ever need to eat during and you'll want to keep an eye on your HP as she has a max at a 41 and even though the snakelings are pretty weak they still have a Max set of 15 so it's very easy to suddenly take a huge amount of damage during this phase however since we are inevitably going to take range hits Vengeance can be a super powerful tool if you have the 94 Mage requirement to use it and it really makes it feel not so annoying taking a big range hit when you get to send it right back at her it can be a little tricky knowing when to use Vengeance since snake links can end up eating it a lot of the time so if you see no snakelings at the beginning of a mage phase you can pre-venge however if there are snakelings you want to time your Vengeance with Zora's ranged attack even though range of Mage damage are calculated instantly you'll have time to react before the damage is actually applied this allows you a better chance of not wasting the Vengeance on the snakelings this is a more specific instance but when zorres and her Mage face in this position and you're standing here start running to the other side the second you see her spawn her snakelings the reason for this is because she will spawn Venom in front of you and given that this face takes right before a Jad phase it can be really flustering if you aren't ready for it I know you hear Jad phase and think ah this is going to be difficult but despite the name it's actually much easier than jet unlike Jad where prayer switching is reactionary zolra will always attack on a fixed alternating pattern so timing prayer switching is actually pretty easy as long as you know what the starting attack is going to be again since range of Mage attacks are calculated instantly all we need to do is wait for the animation to start and then switch prayers I'll leave this going for a moment so you can get a feel for what I mean if you're ever flustered or get out of sync with the prayers don't panic and simply Camp one prayer it's really easy to accidentally be perfectly wrong and get hit by every single attack so if you lose your Rhythm camping one style will at least ensure you avoid 50 of the damage there's always a small delay before you can attack Zorro when she spawns which can be especially annoying during a Jad phase so make sure your initial prayer is correct first to give you time to attack her before you need to switch prayers again similarly to the Mage example earlier if you encounter a Jad phase in this location start preemptively running to the next location after eight or nine of her attacks she'll be casting Venom in the direction you need to run after her 10th attack and if you are caught in these it will deal a ton of avoidable damage this is the only Jad phase you need to do this for and if you really don't want to count attacks it's roughly 20 seconds after she spawns as a general tip if you ever get out of sync with the Zora Helper and feel lost you can usually default to switching sides and prayers and for the Jad phases they will always be green and start with Mage on this side and range on this side there are a lot of phases throughout the fight that you don't need to pray anything as Zora herself won't directly attack you this is indicated by the lack of a prayer icon in the Zora helper so during these phases it's advised to prioritize praying Mage to mitigate damage against the snakelings although they do do melee as well unless you have anti-venom potions or Serpentine Helm you'll be constantly Venom throughout the fight Venom can be really dangerous because the damage dealt increases rapidly over time so our objective is not to remove the Venom entirely but to minimize its damage to do this we'll use a sip of an anti-poison potion or a cure me spell between phases if you're using the Cure me spell you can use this much more liberally as long as you have the runes you can also simply click your HP icon to automatically cure your Venom whether using potions or the Cure me spell and double-clicking this with the Cure me spell will totally remove all poison without any delay or interruption in your attacks it may sometimes be unavoidable that you will need to eat during a phase specifically the Mage phase but if possible try to wait until phase transitions to eat an interesting Quirk to this is that you can attack the new phase of Zorra instantly after eating so if you end up eating mid phase you're going to lose out on a lot of DPS as an Iron Man Zorro won't make you a ton of GP but she does have some amazing upgrades and tons of really valuable supplies each unique drop is one out of 5 12 but you can expect to get any one of these drops at 1 out of 128 KC and with that you should have everything you need to conquer the big juicy snake thanks for watching and I hope it helped if it
