Orange County Fair Speedway (2024)

[Music] it is a cold cloudy windy day in Middletown New York but my God we are alive for 105 boys fa racing Vlogs how you doing everybody my name is Tom and today I'm back home for Orange County Fair Speedways opening race of 2024 this is not a race we thought we would ever get at the end of 2023 we thought that was it it's over but Bret Hearn and Doug put together a three Race Championship Series they call the big three and today June 9th it opens up so if you're wondering why we're not doing uh Street Stock stuff uh I don't know I'm not the car owner we're not racing today that's all I know so I'm here as a fan but at least it gives me a chance to do another uh weekly race showcase for Orange County this year even though it's you know they're not doing weekly stuff whatever tonight is also Nostalgia night I hope you could hear me I just realized I'm right next to the road uh tonight's also Nostalgia night uh which means we get to see a lot of cool vintage stuff uh from the long long past that Orange County has um I'm not going to do any of the history if you want to see any of the history on this place Fox Sports has a multi-part documentary for free available on YouTube you time of well looks like we're going to look for the first green and feature competition Tim as they make their way down off of Turn number four the green flag is out we are underway as they make their way down here to turn number one it's going to be Tak SL nosing out in front as they work their way down here off the turn number two slate going to show the way now the back straight away for the first time looking up here into turn number three now slate on the front of this one bringing them up through turn three and four things get a little wild back here spot number three on back we got um side by side working down off the corner slay going to be the leader after [Music] turns number one and two here Jack bont bont the Tabernacle S farm number 191 Car Works off to the inside line against JD Morris's double O entry side by side tussle they'll drag race out of turn number four this time in a wild third place battle it looks like bont jocky B number three spot still KN he's on the outside here com the 171 walk Henry hry left F spor 191 he works down across closing gap on number 48 y second place Battle dve Race on a turn number two here we go down the back straightway side by side got another side by side battle back behind them as Bobby slate now number two now here comes Bobby slay trying to advance his position the inside working down the back straightway trying to get by Anthony teren time rolls on right now got to be a happy driver Jun that is Anthony Tarantino in for by JB Morris rounding out your top five here as we wind down the final few laps here in tonight's to pick up an extra $315 mem of jtim T sen from the T family and of course 11 Place go out to feature white flag has now been displayed for slate he doesn't know where spot number two is so he challenge a lot the back doesn't realize he's got one heck of a lead on Jackie bman he does so successfully he's going to bring him down here to turn number three a roll up here through the corner bring him down off of Turn number four flag will be in the air when Jaden slate comes to the line Jaden slate going to pick up the win Jack ban going to come home in the runner up position back like only you can do good County Speedway the world's biggest tailgate party never ends that kickoff it goes right to the checker flag in the back stretch drive it you're a special part of the 105 years line to put lap number one on the board going to meet the 24 States weak yeah spot 78 and N in both Sportsman and big block modify competition for eastern states will be out of the top three point Getters for the top three big shows here at Orange County so a lot of the line ,000 for the modifies but then of course that prestigious Seventh Place start if you if you qualify bettering that's all well and good your [Music] down as away now up in the third spot as they make their way down here off of Turn number four they all chase Your Leader the 24 of [Music] Joe down here up here [Music] [Applause] up here number one [Music] about a five car length [Music] number the f [Music] County I've said it before and I'll say it again absolutely welcome to Victory Lane especially at a track that has history yeah this is the greatest place on Earth Orange County fair speedway I love this place uh car was great so many people showed up today over 100 the it looked like Ann States weekend
