[Music] [Applause] hey everybody it's Ryan welcome back to Al Farms work we are on top of the grain bin and we just started harvesting corn so Travis is going to get the skid steer so we can get the augur positioned over the grain bin where we'd like uh dad's just breaking open the field now so far the moisture is sitting between 22 and 24% which is high and uh the stocks themselves are very very green yet so that could be attributed to the fact that we didn't plan it until after May 10th which is fairly late but on par with what it was last year however we were very dry ear early on so the plants had a very slow start but we got timely rains later on in the summer so what I personally think happened is that the plants were slow starting and uh that pushed them behind so the moisture is is pretty high Travis is down below right now at the skid steer he just pushed it over a little bit good honestly I'm happy with that so far the yield is anywhere between 225 and 250 but we'll see what it averages out to with field edges see how it holds [Music] up [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] I think it's come to a shock to some people just how surrounded we are by these solar panels with which honestly doesn't really bother me at all that the panels are here what actually bothers me is this the amount of junk that we've been finding on our side of the fence which actually has gotten better since they went through and put their own fences up but uh when they were doing a lot of the dirt work around here we were finding beer bottles and everything on our side of the fence in the field never found any trash out in the middle of the field like that before until they came in and started working on this so things like that are real nice yeah and it's going up every pass so the outside especially right through here along the Waterway um took it down a little bit and then that and there so not a whole lot of different so the fungus side went through right basically top of the Waterway down um and I pulled up the moisture as well so it's really no wetter on that end of the field than it is anywhere else so that's good the fungicide didn't increase moisture hard to tell if it really did much in yield yet I'm not expecting a lot this year because we didn't have a lot of disease this is the number that's that's actually dry right this is dry bushel per acre okay so you got wet weight so your dry bushs is 976 okay your wet bushel and then your dry bushel is 870 yes this is the dry bushel average okay we're wrapping things up and calling it a day so far the yield seems to be doing pretty good the moisture is still pretty high um anywhere between 22 and 24% and the yield is averaging 225 so depends how you look at it it the corner is extremely wet but thankfully that's what we have a drying bin for so hopefully we have enough in there that we can turn the fan on and get some hair flowing through it to try to start drying some of that stuff down but uh that's pretty much it for this video guys thanks for watching be sure to check out all of our other videos be sure to like comment and subscribe and be sure to follow us on Facebook Instagram Tik Tok Snapchat all H Farms work and with that I'll see you next time
