Open AI JUST LEAKED GPT 4.5 ?!! (GPT 4.5 Update Explained)

after a crazy day in artificial intelligence it seems that we may have had another announcement in AI now this one comes from open Ai and this is allegedly a GPT 4.5 leak now I know that there have been many different speculations about GPT 4.5 previously but this leak does actually have some credibility which I will be breaking down in this entire video so make sure you watch until the end to see the entirety of that so one of the first things that most people didn't actually see was there was this tweet okay so I'm not going to reference the other bit cuz there's another bit that I need to talk about but essentially there was this so Jimmy apples essentially tweeted This and like I always say if you don't know who Jimmy apples is this is someone that has previously called correct dates for open AI releases before they have been announced officially so essentially you can see right here he tweeted I'm sure it's an accidental typo and then he says currently zot GPT is only available to faculty and staff it is not available to students at this time but what does this have to do with GPT 4.5 it says built a top AER Ai and providing no cost access to GPT 4.5 Z GPT is available at no cost campus unit and will be enhanced with requested features in the coming months and you can see that it well interestingly enough it actually has the words GPT 4.5 so here Jimmy Apple sweet he's basically saying that look I'm sure this this is an accidental typo but he's saying it with a sense of sarcasm that means that potentially there could have been a gbt 4.5 leaked from this website now what's interesting about this and as I read it I actually realized some more interesting stuff is that if you actually did go over to the website at the time you can see that on zot GPT on this website for this I'm guessing this is a university they have their own custom you know fine-tuned model of GPT 4.5 that I'm guessing or I'm guessing it's some kind of you know chatbot like system with more restrictions what you can see here is that you can see it does actually say GPT 4.5 however if you do decide to go to that web page right now what can you actually do if you go there you can see that it actually you know now says GPT 4 Turbo so it seems that these guys have realized the widespread of this and it seems like they've managed to update their website because maybe it was a typo maybe it wasn't a typo but there are some key things about this update that are going to think are really really important so I want to show you guys uh some more tweets that kind of not verify but give us some more information that make these leaks a little bit more credible so there was also this tweet you can see that Jimmy apples tweeted this he said I'm being patient patient for your n and if you don't know what this n is essentially last time there was a GPT 4.5 leak samman actually responded to the contra controversy on Twitter because he realized it was gaining a lot of traction so last time this year well not actually last time this year but around sometime last year in December someone actually tweeted is the GPT 4.5 leak legit or not and Sam Alman tweeted no so I guess what happened right there was that the leak wasn't legit but interestingly enough I remember at that time when they were talking about the leaks and saying that they weren't true it's funny enough because I think leaks were so big that Google actually did release their Gemini system which did actually completely change the game so I think that it's rather fascinating that maybe the leaks were true opening ey decided against it because it was some information that you know Google actually did act on and they released their AI systems early so it will be interesting to see what happened and another open AI employee or Insider this is Rune I'm honestly not sure what his position at open AI is or if he even works there but he's definitely someone with a lot lot of AI information just trust me there's a lot of research that goes into that but he says you guys need to develop more resistance to Crazy AI hype Bros there's no 4.5 and if there was it wouldn't be released silently and if it was you wouldn't have the API string self docks as 4.5 basically meaning that the AI wouldn't initially tell people that it's 4.5 by accident if they didn't want it to so what the other tweets were referring to which is sort of a more credible leak and I guess this actually does make sense and remember this is the December 17th tweet this isn't actually in reference to today but it does hold some relevance to how people might interpret these leaks but you can see right here that it says okay uh and this is where the big kind of leak from today comes and this is why many people are speculating that a leak is coming soon and I'm going to tell you guys why this is you know even more interesting so um someone tweeted so appears Bing has an early cached version of the GPT 4.5 blog announcement and you can see right here if you type in ww. open.com blog GPT 4.5 turbo you can see it says certainly let's dive into the fascinating world of GPT 4.5 turbo this new model developed by openi surpasses its predecessor GPT 4 Turbo in terms of speed accuracy and scalability here are the key insights number one you can see the model details the name is GPT 4.5 turbo number two is the context window it has a 2 56,000 token context window which means it can consider a vast amount of information when generating natural language or code and interestingly enough the models knowledge up to date until June 2024 and I will come back to that because that is a very very fascinating point that leads us to some very specific dates within the timeline that might be true and then of course you can see the capabilities it's more capable than its predecessor GPT 4 speed it's faster making interaction smoother and and cost effective it's more cost effective for developers so the reason that this thing is here some people might think that this model is hallucinating because we've all known that copilot has done that many times before but this isn't actually the case you can see right here if you go over to this you can see that this is not hallucination the body of text is visible in search results now I actually did a few search results myself I actually wanted to see if this was true you can see that I actually did search and uh I searched on Duck Dogo I typed in GPT 4.5 turbo and then um you can see that it was right there it says open ey announces GPT 4.5 turbo a new model that surpasses GPT 4.5 turbo in speed learn how yada y y and a knowledge cut off in June 2024 now this is something rather the fascinating because with many leaks that have happened before they've never really been like an official leak that has links to the actual openai web page so this one is a lot more credible now some people are offering X explanations for this and one of the explanations that I did see were rather interesting but I'm going to come back to this tweet because these features that we did see are rather fascinating and can give us a timeline on some of the other stuff but there was this explanation that I did think warranted some further discussion so there was this tweet that said could this be it so the GPT 4.5 blog post which reads like a generic placeholder was L crawled meaning that the systems kind of searched it these search engines by being in September 20 23 unless I'm missing some things it seems that likely an open AI employee accidentally published a draft post and there are many such cases and the search results went unnoticed until now so um you know essentially what they're stating is that someone may have accidentally published a previous draft post and then you know people only found it about now and you can see that also the post would have been unpublished quickly but my guess is that new post URLs are automatically submitted to Bing when published through the Bing Web Master API and have a high craw priority and of course duck. go result is just from Bing and you can see right here that the last craw date for this link which is the openi blog GPT 4.5 turbo we can see that the last date for this is of course you know 2023 um you know which is you know quite some time ago so it could be okay that this link is a draft post that has not been published at all but there are some things that I do find rather fascinating I'm going to get into this right now one of the things that I did find rather fascinating was of course if we actually take a look at what we're looking at here there are three things that it says okay and they are rather important we got GPT 4.5 turbo we got the 256 context window and of course we got the model cut off date these are pieces of information that can use to speculate on potentially what's coming now one of the things I want to speculate on is of course the extended context we've seen in the industry that these Trends are continuing to increase Gemini has an a million you know Tok token context window which is up to 10 million Claude has a increased one I think it's 200,000 or even more um and of course GPT 4's one is stuck got 32,000 now what's fascinating was if we go back to the original tweet the one from Jimmy apples you can see that one of the things they talk they spoke about with GPT 4.5 was the fact that it has um you know a larger context window so I think it actually says that right here it says you know it will be enhanced with requested features in the coming months and of course it does actually talk about a larger context window so I think maybe are they referring to something that they don't know is this something that they you know announced previously I mean I think all of this timing is very very important that's another thing as well the timing of this cached thing being found is well fascinating because of course you know the cruel date is from very very far away so that is a possibility but I do think it's rather fascinating that Jimmy apples a someone someone who has a very very you know a solid reputation when it comes to leaks tweeting this around the same time does show us that maybe it does have a bit more credibility now another thing I did want to you know make a point about was the date of June 2024 so you might be thinking is that hallucination how on Earth doesn't AI know up until June 2024 like how do we get that date if it's in the future so my guess okay and the industry guess is that basically since we know that these models are essentially two to three months behind in terms of their training and their you know knowledge date this kind of makes us believe that the potential release date for GPT 4.5 turbo could be sometime in November which is when chat GPT was released the first time because that would mean that you know if it's in November it's got a couple of months you know due to the safety training of the model which openi does do they have around you know 3 to four to five months of safety training of that model and then of course they release it to the public and then of course because it's not continually updated with the data the you know release date of that model would be like November and then the model you know training date would be June 2024 so that's why some people and now speculating that potentially we have a model release in November of this year instead of you know currently this week so many people you know in terms of the dates they think that this is potentially going to be the release date because if you remember GPT 4's release date was on the 14th of March 2023 and many people have speculated that once again on the anniversary we are going to get the 4.5 update which is going to be you know literally just 2 days from now and that would be rather fascinating if we actually got that I would be really excited for that so I mean that is another thing which is why this leak right here could be a typo I mean it could be a typo or it could be that look they got access to this early and because it's going to be released in 2 days maybe just maybe they accidentally put GPT for now we don't really know that much I mean of course we did have this right here which is of course the craw date y y yada but there is another Point okay okay I do think that there is a likelihood that within the next 2 days we could get this but there are several reasons why we couldn't get this I mean of course you know the 14th of March 2023 was a pretty nice date and since then there has been a ton of AI progress now here's the thing okay here's the thing we have to think about are openi going to be releasing this in the next two days and do they need to one of the things we need to think about is the fact that gp4 is no longer a state-of-the-art model this is because even Gemini 1.5 Pro and I think all or 1.0 Ultra and Claw 3 Opus these are now the industry standard leading models which actually do surpass GPT 4 gp4 on pretty much all of its benchmarks has been surpassed in a variety of areas including vision of course you can see right here um you know gsmk all of these benchmarks it completely surpasses this model and it's something that is really fascinating because we've seen openi always maintain the lead in terms of when they release their models now one thing that we know is that open ey previously wasn't under any pressure in order to release their models because they were always state-of-the-art and it seems like now with Claude 3's model their new model it seems that you know they're being able to actually take a lot of market share I'm seeing you know numerous reports of many different people actually using Opus instead of GPT 4 because it seems to understand the responses better and you can see that someone right here says Opus absolutely seems smarter than GPT 4 but I'm wondering how much of it is just sugar it seems fine- tuned just to be way more eloquent and the user interface is cleaner and more enjoyable to read I'm able to put a 10,000 line code base in it and have it output modifications to multiple files for a high level request I'd say it's noticeably better than GPT 4 the context alone is a selling point but the code is also high quality from what I've seen so open a I have been beaten on several benchmarks and the thing is okay if we actually look at the cut off dates again from June 2024 would it make sense for open AI to release this model in of course you know November times when you know if we look at AI development how quickly things move if Google are continuing to release at the rate they're releasing and of course if Claude are then that means by November times we could definitely be on Gemini Ultra 2.0 or even 2.5 and Claude could be on Claude 4 and of course that would mean that gbt 4.5 is quite some time behind now during that time open ey could have dropped any number of things but it will be interesting to see if that does happen the reason I talked about Claude is because we know that when other companies are producing their models and they're beating these models and they're gaining market share on their competition it does mean that of course open AI might be prompted to act on that because that's exactly what happened to Google Google saw gbt 4.5 going to be released they decided you know what we're releasing Gemini right now and of course the opening eye leaks weren't actually true at that time so another thing is as well is that many people are thinking that you know maybe GPT 4.5 isn't going to be there because the open AI employees PR previously said that this isn't true and in addition to that there are no trademarks for GPT 4.5 so maybe it just isn't on their timeline they're just going to completely upgrade GP GPT 4 to GPT 5 they might just skip it entirely and they might just absolutely decimate everyone with a new state-of-the-art model now I think that this is definitely a possibility of course you do have the fact that they haven't trademarked it which means that it's not on their release date and we do know for certain the five six and seven are going to be on their release dates so it is likely possible that we could just skip GPT 4.5 entirely however we do know that iterative deployment is there and that essentially just means that with these you know newer and newer updates they're going to be moving slower in terms of the jumps even if they have something higher than what they have released externally and that's just because people are going to react differently to the a developments because it's you know really increasing rapidly now one thing as well that you seem to have somehow forgotten was that it wasn't only a month ago that open aai did release s now I'm not sure why open I decided to release this because they didn't need to like I said in the video previously they were under no pressure to drop this it's not like they were Runway or pabs they didn't have any competition in the video space so them dropping this I'm not saying it didn't make sense but it wasn't something that I felt opening I even needed to do it was just kind of like you know a weird thing where it's like a company that's just working on text of course we knew they were working on video just decided to drop a video model that is far better than anything we've ever seen and it's their first iteration of their video model which shows us how crazy this company is in terms of the talent that they have and in terms of the research and development divisions that work at open Ai and we do know that Sora isn't coming anytime soon and the point of me bringing up Sora is the fact that look they dropped Sora only a month ago would it make sense for them to drop 4.5 now or would it make sense for them you know to wait one or two months so that they can once again steal the hype again maybe that's just going to be how they're doing it because I guarantee you they've planned out this entire Year's releases because they always always always have have things under wraps months before the release now Sora if you're thinking okay when is Sora going to come is it probably going to come this year in a recent interview with MKBHD they the Sora team these are the members of the Sora team they actually stated that this model isn't going to be coming out for anytime soon with Sora um I know you're not giving timelines but you're in the testing phase now do you think it's going to be in a available for public use phase anytime soon not anytime soon I think yeah okay yeah uh I guess my last question is way down the road way down into the future when Sora is making five minute YouTube videos with sound and perfect photo realism uh what medium makes sense to to dive into next I mean photos is one thing videos has its whole dimension with time and physics and all these new variables with Reflections and sound you guys are and so that was the clip where they're essentially saying that this is not going to be available anytime soon so that basically means that we have a situation now where they've dropped Sora they've stolen the industry Spotlight once again and I think realistically are they going to drop 4.5 I mean they probably could and I think it would be kind of funny if they dropped 4.5 and it was just absolutely decimating everything else and then GPT 5 was a completely insane model that is better than anything we've ever seen I genuinely am leading to the side of 4.5 because if we look previously of course you know it might not be on the trademark list but previously we did have 3.5 so to four and then 4.5 and then of course you know a jump to five which is going to be completely insane I mean that could be something that they do I mean realistically I do think they probably might release it but then again with GPT 5 um I would say it's just entirely speculation although I do think that gbt 5 will be released sometime this year um and I do think the 4.5 will be released before that if it does get released I mean there's no real guarantee they didn't trademark or anything like that um and previously when talking about the leaks they did say that GPT 4.5 isn't there but then again gbt 3.5 was so I'm more leaning to five later on in the year at November times um if gbt 4.5 isn't that crazy however I do think this week is going to be interesting because last time this year we did get GPT 4 which did absolutely change everything and if we know open AI are continuing to move at that pace which they can um they definitely have some insane models in store so what do you guys think about this do you think the GPT 4. five leaks are real do
