in 2006 we sat down with one of the bravest little boys I've ever met Anthony sucked Oh was just eight years old when his quick thinking saved his life after his own father committed the unthinkable this is 911 what's going on there Oh God he please honey left with a bless oh god finally but my dad told me to go on the other bed like your neck and then kill me love still alive Anthony's father had brutally attacked his mother and then stabbed Anthony six times in the face neck and stomach then his father left the house convinced that both Anthony and his mother were dead meanwhile emergency workers frantically searched for the boy but the address that came up on the 9-1-1 computer did not match Anthony's the race was on to find him are you bleeding Anthony oh where are you bleeding from from 'ok are you there by yourself then Anthony's frantic call took a frightening turn oh my god what I could go guy what's the matter Anthony hung up because his father had come back but miraculously at the exact same time the police arrived captured Anthony's father and found the brave little boy near death I threw up a prayer right there and I just you know I I didn't know if he was gonna make it I specifically remember looking into his eyes and just I've seen a death look as we call it before and look in his eyes well the paramedic said he threw a prayer and that prayer was answered please welcome Anthony aunt and guardian Nancy Oakley hi there hi so Anthony how are you good you're healed you're better that's great I heard you said that angels told you to play dead yes yeah okay and then what made you make the 9-1-1 call the angels left in me up gave the phone the angels lifted you up to the phone yes and so when you hung up the phone suddenly with the 911 dispatcher the operator it's cuz your dad had walked back in the room did you play dead again yes you did you did yeah this is a brave child it's been a while since Anthony left his Seattle neighborhood to live with his aunt and uncle in Florida and a couple of his old friends wanted to be here today to give him a big high-five police sergeant mark eeks and fireman Jeff Calhoun come on out to say hello to Anthony maybe the guy that saved your life sergeant eeks was a supervisor in charge of the crime scene why is Anthony so special to you Anthony as you probably already know is an incredible kid he's got an inspiration it's just a contagious um Anthony uh has courage um he reminded us all of what that is again courage today Anthony is 18 and a senior in high school he recently Skyped with us from Tacoma Washington where he was visiting a couple of old friends since eight years ago being on the show been doing great um I've got a lot of support from my aunt and uncle and Friends since my dad has been in prison I actually haven't had any contact with him once he's up for parole I actually love to sit down and talk to him you know I'm sure he doesn't know that I still forgive him and I love him and I just want to tell him that I'm actually staying with mark right now at his house and Jeff's with us too and they come buddy oh my guess we're gonna move up here yeah the reason that we were drawn to Anthony at least for me I can distinctly remember him being brought out of that house that night not knowing if he was gonna live and seeing you know his eyes and his mom's not with us anymore so you know you have a little boy there that ever you know every thing in life against him at that time he's survived in spite and incredible tragedy and yet since day one nothing but a smile from it every single day subscribe to the old channel today and we'll see you on YouTube you
