t at sixteen we'll listen to the crowd Tigers got 152 yards should be just a nice comfortable 9-iron formed they're gonna go nuts when he hits this thing [Applause] a ticker tape [Applause] one of the longest and loudest ovations at a golf tournament you will ever hear a second ago Tiger Woods [Applause] [Applause] I believe the phrase is I am Tiger Woods never see innovation like that [Music] I made the Ovation from the moment he hit the ball until well after he tossed it up into the ground it's one way to take his ship bulky butter [Applause] I suspect around and with all of the carryovers it now is worth a hundred and seventy five thousand dollars if you have a good memory Fuzzy's eller 140 here with a 26 foot putt last year Trevino has the honors since he won the skin at twelve six area right in line with the flag could be stiff [Applause] well when they were through the Aerojet said that's a pretty shot it can't get any prettier than I said it might be stuff amen Santa Claus is coming made Jarrod Lyle [Applause] today to iron [Applause] [Applause] two dollar they don't have a Hall of Fame partner at number 60 but if they did Lyle would go in and maybe they show that and then a whole lot of 8th position over there with the the guys who based it that's the first hole-in-one at 16 so didn't expose in 2002 and he is how Sutton was the first to do it everybody remembers Tiger Woods is gonna to get down you're curious as to know that ends up going there's two highlights have never met this day is done and everybody's daunting then their thing in basketball it'll be right near the top [Applause] or a hero at number 16 chair of the lab and they were out there early this morning oh yeah [Applause] for this week this was Robert Allenby at the par-3 13th yesterday 232 yards with a 5-wood uh perfection it is he plays a cut he normally draws ball he hits little count the five voyages could not hit a better shot back the minute he struck it was in the air somebody in the gallery said go on the hole which nobody's ever done and of course a dead first ever recorded ace in history the PGA Tour events at Doral and Martin Flores among those on the 125 bobble watch this at 16 as he tries to qualify for the playoffs next week and to keep his car sixteen in the FedEx Cup standings this was just earlier today Jonathan Byrd putter Tintin 35 yards to the hole very short gettable par 3 to say the least ahem perfection for Jonathan Byrd whoa Jonathan Byrd trying to navigate this 211 wind swirling it's played over for each of the last two years [Applause] one since 2004 and round two by Swedish national already on another look he has a beautiful compact swing and aggressive rhythm and he like this all the way [Music] take that guys later he couldn't see it he couldn't believe it his son looking on he's got Jeff Overton looking on he's at a par 3 come on Kurt wanted to be a tour that is a damn a tremendous how good is that Nicholas Thompson after having made double eagle at the 11 a 200 par-5 part on the next hole and now justice sky [Music] [Music] watch out for that one Jean looky here looky here [Applause] shall we Sindelar he had one over par likes it coming back down the hill hole-in-one yes indeed [Applause] [Music] always at 17 with a 9-iron I guess you'd maybe have to call that on a singer [Music] [Music] the sixth hole in one in competition at the 17th is once again the eyelid hole provides great theater here in the stadium course Paul Casey and the tee at the par-3 15th dislocated shoulder at the start of the year so he's not played much this while we're in commercial break Casey copse is my witness because you know unfortunately the car giveaway is back at 13 so they might think that he's gonna be driving away in that I think he's just spelling that out yep things like Casey just doughnuts at 13 not a year oh God how'd you like to walk up to the green hang in your head and being dejected after it ace there was such a great celebration it was like I'm gonna get it he's gonna give me the car he's not even gonna get a hubcap he's just lagging behind right now elastic and that's still an ace you can keep the ACE yeah you get the owner on the next hole man let's go to the 18th and but Kali having a good day all behind another one second days of the day long everybody's morning another fan what Kali has a new fan [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it's very dramatic 17th par 3 here's your leader so earlier today here jumped out to take the lead in this tournament but this shot [Applause] plant JoVE on the tee at the par-3 all cut on the ride long why away from the water but there was a bunker there oh the ACE for Brad Joe for example Stewart Cink stepped up to the 12 hole and made a hole-in-one with a 4-iron the first hole-in-one on the PGA Tour this year and then about 45 minutes later Stuart Appleby with a 5-iron [Music] we've had two holes in one on the same hole earlier today one of the very exciting things in golf at the fourteenth all bar three plane 180 yards this is Russ Cochran out of cthugha Kentucky [Music] [Applause] [Music] the partners in that particular stroke comes into play that certainly is the time to do it our leaderboard now in the third round Richards uncle the Canadian at 12-under par defending champion Mark Brooks one shot back long with Nick price players today as you notice the asterisk next to Jay Haas is named Thomas with a pitching wedge 135 yards don't get distracted by the view and a beautifully balanced follow-through he's watching this carefully the short par-3 14th KJ Choi is gonna smash it with a pitching wedge based on the PGA Tour since 2001 I'm co-existence porter double-bogeyed 11 but is now even par for the two parties is played [Applause] i Summerhays now earlier at the 16th check out Ernie else par 3 playing 176 yards this is 7 iron that finds the bottom of the cup for his 13th career ace his fourth in competition you wonder well they says a skinny front edge that needs front of the grain about 12 paces wide max pin right on that run this this was literally second to go that's got my attention then seconds it goes oh he's got eats we open the show with an ace we've seen another one [Applause] bola gets more chick mortgages being paid left right and center quit [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's what happened in the opening round of the players that he set up the sauce Sergio you saw the atmosphere at 17 to do something special was about well it was very cool for me and I see in a some any hole is awesome but to see a sub pace in the 17th is iconic part three always the star of the show was really special and I got to see it firsthand I was on the 16th green with Rory McIlroy in company and Sergio made the strike we saw the profile of the shot from the side when it left the club face it just looked like it had one destination and there was at the bottom of the hole and and Sergio is very cool about the whole thing and of course the crowds they left that shut up of Lucas the guys in the truck [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Nosa of course [Applause] a nice little Kodak moment at the Kodak challenge hold this week-long tour free 222 yards yeah if you think that was good it's for the toughest holes on the golf course but I have a rent one or two they create a difficulty but this man's gonna help it out what a holder make a one on top it off a three putt at the opening hole to make bogey and then the ACE to get it to 3-under par there it is you start thinking right now it is pretty good be right you can say well you were right at it and when I land to think it can it cannot happen again see the others 2006 the last time it happened ain't competitor and everybody else that's awesome pretty much [Music] blings 6-iron his number 8 he likes when he gets it up it looks like he sure does just a little longer than the 13th hole dead center that'll lower your score and he's moved up from 21st position to now making a run at the title this is JJ Henry who came to the 5th hole sharing the lead with two others hit this pitching wedge at the par 3 and Henry [Applause] to take the lead in with the honor here that was nice this other group gets to see some extra shots and speaking of extra shots we're gonna make Geary Christian call all six of these here was worth the wait wasn't it he just needed an audience at the par 3 this is Peter Malnati not having the best of days [Music] pretty looking sweet mouth looks another lightning what this can it be Seneca [Applause] I lose to Sunday at our well a moment ago over at the party zone here at 16 where the gambling section wondering whether or not Mike sposa is going to hit the green with a 7-iron the pudding surface I'm sorry yours [Applause] here at sixteen just explodes this is the reason that come here he's 15 holding them eagle at 16 moves 2-3 what a shot wonderful welcome as he walked up to the rain James and David sure you're not suggesting that we're beginning with a bang Shaun Micheel the o3 PGA champion here on the 17th the 6-iron from 197 Center cut and that's an ace this as we started the show Ryo Ishikawa on the tee at the par-3 4th was amazing cuz they technical we got lift clean and place and for a moment that ball was stationary could have plugged in its own pitch mark could have had a bit of mud on the ball maybe there was a bit of mud on the ball that helped him in the right direction what's the odds on that for the par three tee shot Lee Janssen he like this as soon as it left the blade it was on a crate line heading out west into the Sun he heard the roar immediately beautiful shot in a very special hole on which to have a hole [Music] [Applause] [Music] Stan Johnson on the tee as we said 207 yards he gets up [Applause] henrik stenson a bear of mine this had been the same alright welcome back and this while we were away and already it was a good day for Matt Kuchar but it got an awful lot better to up on Ross Fisher and then at the par-3 7th pole 181 yards lands it short you know where this is going yep so here's the crossbowmen on Friday for Derek Langley at the 16th edge field after winning at Puerto Rico last year is have been a bit of a struggle for him this year but in the second round a perfect shot at the par-3 16th and an ace that earned Derek vacations for life from Windham worldwide Derek was awarded a Club Wyndham access vacation ownership wins UV in Asia he'll defend next week how about Danny Lee here at the short par 3 port playing 145 yards to win I've got the flag that I wonder if 9 honors an hour wrench it's perfect these gentlemen there is the first holder one of the brand-new FedEx Cup season courtesy Danny Lee 17 where I'm located obviously and that row you heard was this shot right here 210 yards with a hybrid two bounces an end for the one it doesn't get any better than that from ten hundred to 12-under and a one on the card a little quick and on mortgage for somebody today they're loving it here at 17 I've had 14 of them and each one gets better than the last congratulations th great shot the best shot from the opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational came from da points who didn't like this six sound at all the par-3 7th imagine what his reaction would have been that he liked the shot because it was perfect at some point the best shot for the second round of the Valero Texas Open came from Cebu Kim at the 1667 yards 9-iron it was the right club perfection for Cebu Kim who really ported on late during Friday's round to surge into the weekend with the lead in San Antonio [Applause] shot it a day from the final round of the QBE shootout par-3 5th Gary woodland there's his partner Charley Hoffman watching walking away and you know what Charlie your work here is done because Gary woodland just aced it that's a 1 nice they would finish tied for third two shots back the shot of the day in an exciting final round of the WGC HSBC Champions goes to Thomas Peters on the par-3 12th can you think what might happen here look at this our third ace in four weeks in the 2018-19 new season the shot of the day at round 1 of the WGC HSBC Champions Louie Oosthuizen at the par-3 6th you might guess where this is gonna end up it's tracking in ace for Louie who stays in these pants : wanted the season the best shot from the second round of the CJ Cup at nine bridges Paul Casey with a 7-iron working the par-3 7th and this coming into a back pin land softly tracking and yes it's in an ace for Paul Casey the second of the season this involves to 3-under [Applause] [Applause] earlier today on the eve of st. Patrick's Day Ireland Shamus power the 32 year old at the 3rd hole playing 155 put that one on the scorecard at Ace just the 4th in the history of this event at the 3rd Oh hold it a little bit but I mean he's a good shot gets a nice bounce here no doubt yeah hit twice in the rough watch this this was in the 3rd round on Saturday [Applause] scholarship 11 scholar as well a thousand dollars there right 16 just a moment ago a village that flag has just over that bunker and gets it [Applause] get so carried away you got a rim parts right a minute are three I'm tag on that Martin on the T all squared his match against Matt Kuchar this was just a moment ago the whole can't happen again in the whole oh you're kidding you are joking me no I wanted to scream out he's got the wrong Club he's not hitting the floor on but it gets heads when a a for mental now this just happened at the 13th 232 yard par 3 Justin [Applause] back in the green the biggest bounce machine going more on the tea coming off back at 15 at 2-under whoa whoa Oh zinger I know you had an ace here at 17 but it wasn't quite like that oh those are pretty ah you're aiming at it let's get some very clever bounces out of the downslope of that bunker and the Kikuyu grass that's why he was begging just over the bunker I mean it made over that bunker and hints [Applause] you say nothing better Gary how many times have you had that occasion well I've made hole-in-ones but not you know turnable maybe more [Applause] [Applause] Wow that is the craziest line of holes while we were away this was what just happened in the Bahamas off the club of Alex Noren at the par-3 17th hundred and eighty-one yards and you talk about capping off one of the craziest poor hall stretches and golf history he went birdie at 14 Eagle at 15 triple at 16 ace at 17 for Alex Noren he bounces from 6 to 8 to 5 to 7 under in a span of four OHS I think you got to get on that yacht parked out in the arena I'm so at least I mean that is just a beautiful shot just takes that little check there a couple of hops and in for Alex Noren 36 year old 18th ranked player in the world and there's a look of what we're talking about daily look at the craziness there from 14 through 17 unbelievable so it should be a motorcycle at least yeah yeah at least one of those rack on the tee difficult on the back right there for for calc dead camel one to get into the fun also same side same a little high draw mr. Marvel swing he has doing that [Applause] shot these the bubble boy came in at a hundred this is six on believe it or not this all tuned to seven yards today a little assist off the bank thirty pitter just to make it to the Deutsche Bank Championship that put doesn't drop on the last hole last week he doesn't have that old one on Eastern time three minutes ago Rory Sabbatini at the 16th [Applause] someone calling out their home one for Sabatini [Applause] never had an ace before on the golf course and out at the 9th which has reveaied one a few days ago well as good a ball striker as he is it shocked me that this is his first one [Applause] and he didn't know what to do they're always like is that your first one really yeah they can't had it even Baker company 16 the par 3 with a 9-iron from honor and 46 yards he slowed 148 though Terry that was the plan first and the seven thanks to that was the sixth two groups later Greg Chalmers a hole-in-one at 16 then we've got 7m the Deutsche Bank Championship this from JJ spawn at the 16th 207 yard par 3 playing downhill to a front right hole location and this one is perfect and that's worth five points in this modified Stableford format Stallings on the tee here at 13 8-iron from 200 yards this was just a moment ago very difficult left hole location but no problem whatsoever for storage there's the whole one bouncing Frank how many whole ones you had enough for you sir single digits but I'm never slowly going like that straight down the drain pot that was awesome what about you correct I had six what are you talking about difficult Brown Deer 14th all 202 yard par 3 with a 6-iron [Applause] [Music] ix Poland one of his young life yeah that's yours and there's the scramble can't keep him out of the limelight it's out in the lake just that Technic was leading the tournament at even par to 89 mark Hayes won over won it last year John McAfee who has now faded from a position of contention as a result of problems today John is eight over right on [Applause] finally getting it out on 15 that is the second hole-in-one we first championship this year Grier Jones had one opening day at 12 my goodness here's what Keith he was laughing so hard he said guys didn't listen to start he says I started six four one seven it sound like a phone numbers that's great he hit a good shot here yesterday and he had a four and he told me after when he hit on the green it jumped the trap and he was lucky to make up for the he made up for it where's that's Crenshaw's ball pretty close to the hole in yes it was to hit a very good shot and Graham is not beyond birdie range himself that green has been putting decently all week long but John Mahaffey for this moment at least is the man as he holds it out at 15 the sobering thought does he have to pad drinks for the house gets insurance apply watch it enjoy I think you could sell that to Lou Gramm for a little bit I think so someday I'm gonna have one of those in flailing for 38 years and haven't had it yet the law of averages is gaining I think that's always surprising bit too much break now at eight stricka-- the flavor way back right started right is it coming back he's happy with it the final round is underway at Colonial and we've had a topsy-turvy day and the lead has changed hands it has gone back to Webb Simpson but there's been action like this a one hot Pullman one for Brian stuard just a short while ago over at the 16 he's not one of the contenders here but what a highlight for Brian stuard the winner in New Orleans a year ago but look who's making than the consolation match even though they're disappointed they didn't get to the championship match there's a lot to play for and this was just a moment ago a deado Tata Hara with an 8-iron Dan and he played it her is perfect Johnny or John was just a little late literally I should say this was just a moment ago 205 yards for the video we scrambled to get the video lee westwood the first hole in one since the tournament was held here with a 9-iron from behind right now Nick and now I'm close up [Applause] listen get anywhere else third ace on this golf course 6-1 in tournament history high-fives all around for lead to house say now what do I do Thanks it's gotta go got that for the half [Applause] nobody [Applause] he's over the weekend here and this over at the 8th hole Richey werenski hold on one thank our friends from PGA Tour live for providing that setting up a little left interesting exploring of that walk - oh girl dancing what a throw over the water up the two-tiered kidney Boland one for Mike Sullivan at 12 the 13th hold this a 6-iron [Applause] Kenny Perry course goes on to shoot that course record 9-under 63 the best shot from the final round of the Puerto Rico open comes from Austin true slope at the par-3 16th 202 yards and this one disappears into the cup a hole-in-one as finishes in the top 10 203 yards to the cup playing with Fred funk very much indeed [Applause] shot of the day in the opening round of the QBE shootout the fourth ace in this tournament history Charley Hoffman had himself a day on the back nine and this is a big reason why he didn't even see it go in that will be an expensive evening at the bar [Applause] [Applause] [Music] and Bobby knows [Applause] the best shot from Friday the Genesis open came from JB Holmes at the par-3 6th and trademark hole with the bunker led middle the green JB avoided the bunker did he ever about that one perfection an ace and that got JB Holmes to 7-under good for his share of the lead at the time on the way to a round of 63 11 for brandenberger [Music] be the right distance he says [Applause] for the guy for her family the Metropolitan Golf family of the year [Applause] that our brother John coach at Pepperdine University it's our first family reunion in eight years of course never won on the PGA Tour again Brent 74 career events on the PGA Tour a couple of seconds been knocking at the door played well the Motorola Western open a few weeks ago might this be the case he said he hasn't been hitting the ball too solidly well I don't think that iron shot at the 11th could have been hit more solidly his tee shot yesterday with a 5-iron he likes it looks good as we go back to the Merc Hal Sutton 195 yards for over bar today at this point excuse me the graphic says 2:05 wrong it's linked this [Applause] it's faced after losing four shots to car an ace at 17 eight under par noted football fan Wayne levy out at the 12th 211 yards what do you think for bye bye yeah this is probably a 4-iron today again he's gonna have to land all on the front part of this very difficult par-3 see it hits and releases I believe he's read the brake just about right and the defending tea at the par 3 that measures 174 yards this just a moment ago Charles Raulerson with a 7-iron left hole location has been very accessible today [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Peter it's amazing to me all this when you make one you always kind of peek over the edge just to make sure it's in there great feeling parts Bob friend with a 4-iron hole location on the left [Applause] some days and the Players Championship at this second single or add the ace at the island green at 17 yesterday approached this plantation forced Kapalua century Tournament of Champions let's kick off 2019 in style what do you think 7 off from 186 Pat desire oh yeah welcome back this is the 218 yard par 3 kokrak an off the birdie 14 this is another big difficult par 3 big giant green that kind of has a what a shot by Jason kokrak is that going to go in yes and Jason kokrak delivers the perfect ace over the 9th John Barrett I think they should be a very comfortable 6 on to John oh there you go good enough go go Wow [Applause] I'm sure he's tired of hearing reports he can make a check on the Florida swing and so this round beam in 2007 179 yards the great reactions you never spot right here he just won that sports car that Nissan [Applause] you
