some old 1600 they were called over 60% of the time [Music] one that's we just moved it over because it was over here so we didn't know if it was because it was the end of the rail so he just wanted to confirm that yep so we just moved that one this one from the end to there and it is a little low what percentage kids jumping on the math seventeen percent 17% that hole would need to make that even so we'll need to clean that or mark that all right so first up we've got a little B series what is the B 18 8 so it's an LS VTech yeah and this is basically a stock block with 11 11 to 1 Pistons yeah why [ __ ] up it says Eagle rods just all the gates little 50 trim turbo we gotta let the boost control on this or just on the game a little bit Oh knob okay cool so that's where we're gonna start rip number one all right putting a little temp in this hot rod and once I'm up top yeah [Music] honey 76 horse pony yeah I'm ready to go again as soon as he is [Music] we may need to watch some fuel pressure bro we may see if we got a fuel pressure gauge super strange how much it dumped off here we are chick we gotta check VTEC dude because I don't have any tech know VTech know VTech and no feel pressure this is behind the scenes of what it takes regulator he just like give me like a hundred Justin and he went down but that one sec by 45 you start going crazy okay so let's put a stock does that gonna medium keep your leader no chickens ah it's amazing that that washer could do that don't so what is the purpose of the spider walking because the way it goes around the banjo it keeps it from getting too far the end of the fuel rail usually have the hole in it or the holes in your sides either way it allows the fuel to go into the damper and then into the rail okay if it's crushed it doesn't let the fuel through so as you can see here what the problem is what the problem you see what happened was so see that washer right there so all the fuel comes through the end back around into the damper and it's got to come around through here that's blocking all of it yeah yes so it's just like almost like a cap that's why your feel pressure was wrong because I wasn't making it to the real I wasn't making it enough of it wasn't yanking to the real the pressure was trying yeah enough to make it idle with 2200 rpm yeah exactly but you get her any real load yeah it's gone you can see how it crushed in that was see that's the hole so the people ' there was a washer there yeah just not the normal fighter yeah so is also see it it blocks it where's the spider washer it's like a castle it's got the castle there's a castle yep do we buy those in bulk all right Spyder washer is what we call it you can see its seals but it has the room for fuel to go through shook it so he cam knows what it looks like [ __ ] yeah everybody just do that washer right there so the fuel comes through the end of the rail and into this into this damper and that has to come back through those holes when you have a solid washer here it blocks the fuel because you need one of those somebody's probably gonna comment and tell us the real name for that we call this spider washer for so long it's called the spider washer spider washer spider Walker you'll know those whatever a spider washer does you wanna kick the Keanu a yeah exactly oh yeah 70 one more okay no one more that's 40 50 60 this clean I really like it pinstripe on it yeah the whole thing really well-built tasteful okay uh-huh this is cool though all right so they got a new clamp on that and I think we're ready to go came from flange where the turbo bolts up to it's just this one in here yeah I'm wondering if the rest of the turbo is tight enough basically we're gonna tighten all the bolts and then we're gonna make one more pull that was gonna be our last one but we found first time we found couplers need a little tightening now we think the turbo needs a little tightening it happened it happens and then we'll do one more and you know we just need the power in this area so it's nice and hot for you to work on yes at least Jonathan's got the easy job always HP auto repair' lose that you HP auto repair oh you changed the name from OTP so I can't say OTP no more now we're done with HP that's sick man seven eight seven in the house right that's sick that's cool these car is in memory of the little boy the crane fully would lose oh thank gosh we found that now all right so they're gonna load James's car up on the Mustang dyno [Music] we downsized the turbo a little bit to get a little more power band you kind of run through it and set the boost up okay yep so the turtle manifold got tightened the boost pipes all got tightened the crank pulley got tightened and the belt got put that alone now we'll see if this all works yep [Music] sixty-two all right Kevin's getting over here and starting to strap james's down this thing ought to make some Jam too man look great alright so James is back up from Texas little turbo change yep Jeff is gonna jump in here and make a couple adjustments make sure we're ready to hit the track test this thing again probably put in the tents that's the goal open all right guys we keep rolling we got this little Civic that's naturally aspirated coming up on this dyno he just built the motor for that so I'll hit down with my flash throwing check that very cool [Music] what I do like it's so fat like I got it into the tension I must not fill it yeah yeah this is a different turbo than what was on it it's a 64 now okay sounded awesome okay what are you revving because it's already others team of tough okay yeah we might want to look at doing a mid plate or something for it self are the motor he'll see it away from the I just saw this silicone coupler between the turbo and the intercooler going hard to retain I think that's a next on the list I mean plate so like price-wise or so okay so basically it's a plate that bolts on to the bottom of the bell housing okay and then we weld a tab on the sub frame and a tab on the front track bar and then it bolts there so it holds it from rotating this way so basically so basically this mount this mountain that mount hold it this direction side to side your T bracket holds it this way and then it's supposed to have the two on the side the torque Mouse so without the torque mounts the t brackets the only thing holding it front to back so if you do a mid plate then you know I know you don't got a lot of room for the torque box yeah yeah so just bolts to the bottom of the transmission down there and it's just a plate and bolt their bolt their bolts it to there okay so that'd be the next best thing to do right now okay so I'll just explain it to James how making the mid plate especially in this chassis is a big deal having some sort of torque mounts because these cars it likes to rip this mount out of the body and it's already right here by my finger I don't know how good you can see that right there in front of my fingertip it's already starting to crack so we definitely need to get a mid plate or torque mounts or something on here it looks like torque mounts is kind of out of the question because the without close that charge pipe is there and with the up pipe being real close to the motor there there's no room for the brackets so he's a metal worker though so you can make a mid plate by about 20 minutes all right so I got the dead times for 40 gestures oh and I sexist clean yeah will do man I'll have you come back to my truck tomorrow yes sir right on buddy see you strap off yeah this one can get on strapped and get off the back [Music] alright alright so Kevin finish a little C all right all right Kevin finished a little B 20 CRX up at 336 horsepower and running like a champion we're changing the ejectors out here on Jermaine's but some of our boss boys you could be then trying to get this hot rod working they got Honduras running right now they're getting ready to put it up on the dyno for either we're gonna try to make a run tonight we're gonna do it first thing in the morning - mayhem kind of cool we're getting close to our curfew though so we're really trying to halt [Music] he's cruising all black wire harness I'm having to do one at a time so I get him on the right side yeah so I'm not moving my power you know but that's a smart play though yeah [Music] all right so we did a little bit we did a little bit of driving with your manes car once we got the new injectors in got the fuel map kind of cleaned up or cooled back off so let's start seeing how its gonna do [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] and now that's it huh Brent come here maybe no he plumbed it he doesn't know though I checked the plumbing and Plumbing's right it's kind of big he's just saying if it's only 21 pounds on the gate before just try to get along yeah I just have 10 do I just move my cut does it acted so stupid on you yeah you know it's gonna hit cut because it makes 20-some pounds on the gate okay this all you got you back some timing out of it and soften it over it's got a big heavy gates bring into yeah when will the where you trying to hook it Gordo tightening the gap how much boost is that Jamie touched 21 and then it fell there like 15 so if you want to actually start checking some couplers and stuff for me he he said it touch 21 and fell to 15 but yeah I checked the coupler [Music] all right they're all gassing in there it is pretty late I think we're possibly done fit enough all right these guys were all firing on all cylinders got all three cars busted out there all hauling ass guys from HP guys from HP auto repair in the house formerly known as a to OTP OTP you know what dude but they were all shredding today all the cars got done everybody was everything was running Jamie came in clinched last minute knocked out Jermaine's and it was pretty successful day it's pretty awesome we had Kevin on the CRX he knocked that out and
