How can you turn your world into an animated movie? Or.... a comic book? Long before PowerDirector existed, animators would work for hours drawing each frame, then stitching together the drawings to create beloved animations. A lot of these painstaking hours were phased out with newer technology. However, it's still a very long process. For those of us that want to create our own studio level animations, but don't have the time, or let's be honest, the skill to do it, PowerDirector for mobile now contains studio quality AI anime effects. There are options for Japanese anime style, American style comic, and even an option to make yourself look like an elf. These effects can be applied onto your videos with just one click. Simply look through the different options then tap whichever one you want to use in your video. Keep in mind that these effects take a while to render, so just be a little bit patient before seeing the end result. It's worth the wait. Once you've rendered your video, you can start playing with the edit. We'll go over some cool ways to do a before and after reveal so keep watching to catch all the different options. For the first type of reveal, apply your chosen AI anime style, split your clip at the exact moment you want your transition to happen. Then tap on the small block, connecting the two clips. A separate menu for transitions will pop up, allowing you to choose from a wide selection. For our example video here, we chose a transition from the Sparkle tab. You can look through the different options and select a transition based on whatever style of video you're going for. This reveal is done with just some extra forethought during filming, and can often be utilized in Reels and TikToks. While filming, add some movement in place of a transition. Anything from moving your camera up towards a ceiling and then down again for the reveal, or covering the camera with your hand, then moving in away will work. So for our video here we've added the anime effect onto the second half, where I move my hand away. Then split the clip where my hand covers is the camera. You can try different movement transitions. If you need some inspiration, you can go watch this video where we go over this in more detail. And as a final touch, we can go in and add particle overlays, which can be found in the Decor tab. This last transition is extremely easy to do as well. You can watch the tutorial for this right here! This feature will also be coming to PowerDirector for Windows. So if you've already downloaded the software, keep an eye out for this update. If not, you can try to software for free by following the link in the description below.
