ONAP DG Editor Demo

hi my name is Ammar Kapadia and i'm going to show you today how to spin up the DG editor on a google cloud and how to use it so let's go to our new network comm blog look for the directed graphs and onap blog posting from September 26 2018 it gives a brief description of what directed graphs are and instructions so let's start with this let's create an Ubuntu 1604 VM with two V CPUs so we go here create an instance let's call it DG 1 to V CPUs 7.5 gigabyte memory is fine 1604 10 gigabyte standard persistent disk is fine and then we created now let's login I like the g-cloud command so let's copy it all right we've logged in now we need to install a whole bunch of packages one at a time so I'm not going to bore you with with this once all the packages are done installing we'll catch up again okay we're done now let's move on to the digi builder so we are going to clone the directory let's do that okay now we are going to create my username email address okay that's done installing sequel i3 in starting the DG builder editor okay let's try it out let's see if it works oh the public address is this so let's go there so the username is a Kapadia the username we used before test one two three and there you have it that's the DG builder now if you wanted to build a fort test graph let's build over first graph let's go to the wiki page and it says click and drag DG start let's do that now it says do the same for service logic then method service logic method service logic is used to uniquely identify a craft double click double left-click on this node and a dialog box will appear ok so the punch in tutorial 1 and we say ok now double click on the method in here we put in hello world and we say okay now from the left-hand side Ballack dragon and record node record known each node has a connector to the right if you click if you left click and hold it you can connect to another node let's do that double click on the record node you'll just have a tag record highlight and delete this tag copy the below X somehow all right let's do that okay so we have created a working deductr graph quite possibly the simplest graph that can be written it's the equivalent of hello world it'll write a single line to the log with the hard-coded file field hello world now obviously we can't upload and activate the graph but hopefully you found this video useful thank you
