As a paramedic in NYC, spice (or K2) really did a number here when it first came out. I was working in Harlem, which was one of the epicenters of the drug. Was sedating patients nightly because depending on which strain they got, they would be seizing, stop breathing, and some even had their hearts stop. Was just an awful drug
The segment right before this one was just as interesting. A PhD homeless student.
She does much more than follow a cop and it was all good.
That's Deon Joseph. He's a hardworking LAPD officer in charge of safety in Skid Row. Obviously his job is incredibly difficult, but dude is a badass.
