Omega Speedmaster Schumacher - The Very Underrated One!

[Music] hello guys welcome to scene for wrist i'm your host in today's video i would like to show you a watch that i should have presented to you ages ago i purchased it towards the start of this year i've kept it away from youtube and only showed it on my instagram but never actually took time to review or say anything about it this watch was on my watch list for such a long time i love the color scheme which is black cream and red classic racing combination the speed master has been created to commemorate michael schumacher's sex driving title in 2003 this edition is limited to 6 000 pieces and the watch comes with a special presentation box and certificate of authenticity with each watch being numbered i've been wearing it for a while in rotation with some other speed masters but you can tell this one is different it's not a moon watch the watch has a sapphire crystal different movement making it slightly heavier than a standard moon watch speedmaster it's been unpopular for way too long but yet the prices increase steadily every year you could say it's not everyone's cup of tea the bracelet feels a bit different so if you're a speedmaster moonwatch fan you could probably reject the model right away i reckon if this timepiece was a moonwatch in 2021 you would be looking at a 20 000 pound watch the color combination is just so stunning resembling the original polymer daytona people just have to notice this model and everything will start the whole price madness that's what i believe the schumacher speedmaster is so wearable it feels sturdy you don't really have to wind it every two days for as long as you wear it and on top of that you have a date function at six o'clock which doesn't really ruin the aesthetics of the chronograph it looks clean and really easy to read as for the official case size we are talking about 42 millimeter stainless steel case the bezel is fully stainless steel there is no contrast between the black aluminium bezel insert and the steel bezel edges like in the moon watch honestly i wouldn't change anything about this timepiece you get the beautiful cream dial with black subdials red eye-catching chapter ring and also subtle but yet mesmerizing luminescences on the hands and hour markers of course the case back bears the following writings done in red michael schumacher the legend individual number of the watch and also the information saying that this watch was made to commemorate michael's sixth racing title you get the whole package and that's what i love with all the investment buzz around rolex omega and other luxury brands i think it's good to have this one watch that might or might not go to the moon eventually i hope you enjoyed the video please like subscribe to sinful wrist and stay tuned for more bye
