Old Calamity Boss Sprites Hit DIFFERENT...

the calamity mode was released all the way back in 2016 on june 1st over the six years the mod has received many reworks re-sprites and has accumulated a ton of cut content we'll be looking at some old sprites today because i find some of them pretty interesting oh we have this gummy worm probably strawberry flavored i'd assume it's kind of spiky for some reason i don't know why they would make spiky gummy worms that doesn't sound very tasty okay oh that desert scourge sprite actually looks pretty good i remember when they still used it the ai wasn't very good but the sprite itself i mean it's pretty good oh all right then we have crabulon which looks like this rotten egg with fungi growing on it this kind of looks more like a crab than the current sprite in my opinion it's it's it's okay i guess oh the perforators look nasty they use the same color palette as the brain of cthulhu uses which is cool this actually manages to make me grossed out because just look at that fleshy meaty pulsating monstrosity that's a that's an okay sprite yeah hive mind that's just uh the normal brain of cthulhu sprite but recolored and they also gave it some shadow scale armor i guess and they also added some eyes to it okay this is the hive mind sprite that was before the current one this actually looks good like yeah i have nothing else to say that just looks good slime glad um they look like little snacks let's be honest here you you did that and it would be pretty tasty it would be strawberry flavored and the left one would be blueberry flavored probably oh okay we have the snowflake boss yes okay here we have the cryogen sprite that was before the current one i mean i don't have really anything to make fun of this is pretty good and the one below it just gives people a seizure i guess brimstone elemental looks pretty similar to the current one but this one isn't that well shaded oh the siren looked like a mermaid green shrek guy woman yeah it's okay yeah and the second siren this is even less but this is this good this is some good stuff wait it says female and male siren what for some reason i wouldn't call this a male unless the one in the aramaris i don't know leviathan just used to look like an angler fish it kinda looks pretty cute look at that little guy very wholesome oh and this looks even cuter what the hell this actually looks like a little plushy this looks like my pet dog i don't even have a dog but it looks like my bad dog that's all i'm gonna say oh okay this leviathan looks more scary but where are his eyes oh are these little yellow dots his eyes those are some pretty small eyes for this big creature huh and what is this yellow thing is it like an egg this exact interesting also why are both of these leviathans like cut in half like there's blood coming from the bottom of them i don't know okay this is an angry version of the leviathan i guess for his laughing who knows oh here's old calamitous okay okay okay the first sprite is just retinizer but black the second one okay they added some scratches okay this probably her second form i guess and here are cataclysm and catastrophe okay the next calamitous sprite started looking more like the current one she got the little head spikes and she got that eye as well in the middle of them the next calamitous does not look like calamitous at all what her face got bitten off or something that's spooky okay these calamitous have pulsating eyes and like these veins running through her skin and catastrophe and cataclysm looked more unique as well and here was i don't really see a difference between the current kilometers and these kilometers interesting this is well made because yeah shading and stuff but this flame animation isn't very good let's just say that okay plague bringeth goliath it used to be a green queen bee and then it turned into a black queen bee with toxic rabies or something then it turned into a cool sprite a mecca queen bee yeah ravager used to look like what is this supposed to be this looks kinda like a mimic i don't know i have nothing else to say i have no idea what that is supposed to be oh okay this ravager sprite looks more like the current one we have this is no case but yeah okay the astromd sprite the second one is looks like something that would be calamity currently the shading is pretty nice there used to be 12 of them attacking you at the same time and it was kind of crazy this does not look like providence and this does not look like her guardian what okay balls oh this is clearly a radiance from hollow knight as you can see this is probably like her beta artwork or something okay this is clearly dark providence which is the evil counterpart to providence oh this version of providence actually had a pretty cool concept it's like a flaming butterfly spirit inside of rock armor or something and she also has that iconic crystal in the middle of her and this is her bullet hell face sprite ooh storm weaver okay the left side this is phase one sprite and the right ones are his phase two sprites okay the left ones went from metallic uh stick to metallic worm to stormweaver and the right one went from tummy worm to shiny gummy worm to stormweaver phase 2. that's how i see it oh wow the concept behind this ceaseless white sprite it's actually pretty cool like a black mirror with dark matter inside of it spinning around yeah that's cool i like it and the last ceaseless void sprite looked like this it doesn't remind me of any type of void it's just like this metal circle with a hole in it and with some funny flapping wings the old sickness braid used to look like a little lizard boy this little purple thanos guy with spiky arms okay this is practically the current signal sprite but drawn differently oh okay the devourer of cuts has a ton of sprites so he used to look like destroyer but with kitchen utensils coming out of his mouth then he turned into the destroyer who got his mouth bitten off by someone then he turned into black destroyer who lost his head okay and then he turned into a white destroyer who also lost his head okay then he turned into a worm i guess and the next sprite practically looks like the hour of cards already and the one after that also looks like the devourer cause even more and i assumed that was his second phase oh and these just look like the current second phase or at least they're very similar oh yaron also looks practically the same but [Music] has less shading i guess and the colors seem off yeah oh and here we have supreme calamitous the first sprite practically looks the same as the climate the sprite the old one and cataclysm and catastrophe also quite similar to the previous calamitous price oh yeah these were supreme calamitous cataclysms and catastrophes right before the draydon update they looked really good here supreme calamitous scrapped human sprite which looks like that one character from neighborhood and those are currently all the scrapped boss brights in the calamity mod well besides from like astra jeldin and uh bumbleberry but they were bosses that were removed notary sprite i guess you could say that dragonfall is a resprite of bumbleberry but i don't consider it the respect it's like an entire dreamwork so yeah that's it hope you guys enjoyed was for whatever reason and yeah farewell [Music]
