forget to subscribe to become part of our red third family I'm here in Oklahoma City right between Dallas and Kansas City right in the middle of America that's right guy has been to Oklahoma several times and in today's video we're going to feature some of the restaurants that he flew all the way in Oklahoma to see so let's kick off this video with Leo's barbecue now if you are from the Oklahoma City metro area more than likely heard of Leo's barbecue and if you haven't you have to go check it out now it's located on the northeast side of Oklahoma City in a building that used to be a gas station however they have now moved to the new Homeland they are on the east side they have a really nice kitchen area you have to go check it out now some people say that this is the best barbecue in Oklahoma City but what did guys say wow exactly and one important tip be sure to leave room for their signature in-house banana strawberry cake you won't find anything like it in all of Oklahoma City next up let's talk about ingrids this european-based Deli and Diner really served up a storm and you were sure to get everything that your heart or your stomach desired why am I talking in past tense as of August 2022 Ingrid's is no more and it's so sad because they had amazing food however guy actually went to this restaurant so I still wanted to include them on this list foreign so number three goes to the rot Cafe located in Stroud Oklahoma so they were actually featured on the season two episode that talked about the Route 66 restaurants where they just went to a lot of restaurants along Route 66 and they were featured the food is amazing if it looks familiar it's because it's also one of the places featured in the Cars movie so this is a must try especially for your kids [Music] foreign Ton's Cafe located in Vinita Oklahoma now this establishment was also featured in season two an episode called local Flavor now this is also on Route 66 didn't know if any of you all know that and they are definitely Infamous for their calf fries which is definitely an acquired taste you hate them or you love them they have tasty Burgers chicken fried steaks I mean it's just a great pit stop to eat up and explore some vintage dining done right I have heard their apple cobbler with the ice cream is amazing all right guys next let's head to Nick's Grill featured on the name that cook episode which aired in season seven now if you know about this place you know about this place all the burgers are created in house with always fresh and hand-packed ground beef nothing Frozen here and you can definitely taste the difference it is such a popular lunch and breakfast spot in the heart of Oklahoma City and they are just famous for their Onion Burgers now keep in mind this place needs to be on your list especially if you're a foodie it's a really small spot maybe about 18 to 20 seats Max and it's cash only so be prepared for that next let's head to aishin's Bar and Grill located in okarchy now guy was blown away by eichen's chicken and can you blame him now if you want to see the episode it actually aired on the you picked them episode which aired on season seven it is one of the episodes where actually like customers wrote Into the show to say hey this is a diner Drive-In or dive and you haven't featured it and it is amazing and Guy thought the same thing this place has been family run for over 40 years and it's one of the best places to get fried chicken in Oklahoma so here's one that you just knew was going to make the list Cattlemen's Steakhouse located on South Agnew in Oklahoma City actually the Stockyards area now this was featured on blast from the past which aired on season seven I felt like triple D really came to Oklahoma on season two and season seven however you guys already know about Cattlemen's what else is there to say historic Stockyards City I mean some of the best beer in the city and the food the steak oh my goodness this is why celebrities go here presidents have been here if you want to see who else go ahead head down there and look at their wall of fame also grab a souvenir at their shop if you love the place as much as I do next we have the Diner located in Norman Oklahoma now this episode was now this restaurant was featured on the episode diners times 3 which aired on You Guessed It season seven but this is a great place to go I have noticed that a lot of people that I talk to don't know about this spot it saddens me you need to they are famous for their amazing chili and if you are a chili lover you cannot pass by when you see this spot you have to park your car get out go in get some of the chili on hot dogs you can get it on Burgers you can get it on the fries and you guys they have just a wall full of like five stars and gold medals from all the various chili cook-offs that they have won this is Real Deal chili all right next we have Florence's restaurant this is going to be located in Oklahoma City as well now this restaurant was featured on the down home flavor episode which aired on season 31 so it's a really you know up-to-date one if you have not been to Florence's you need to go this food is amazing now this is soul food okay this isn't healthy food this is good country food for your soul and that is exactly what it is Miss Florence grew up in Boley Oklahoma and you guys she can cook and actually an update about this restaurant if I am not mistaken They just won I believe it's the James Beard award or a James Beard award that is so rare for any restaurant but for like a hole in the wall type restaurant almost unheard of you have to go now as you may or may not know Guy Fieri has Italian Roots so I feel like when there is an Italian restaurant being featured on the show he really judges them he knows what good Italian food is but when he came to the saucy but when he came to the Saucy Sicilian which was actually on the episode Sicilian and seafood which aired on season 31 they passed the test and put Oklahoma City on the map for great Italian food now what makes this spot such a fun experience is that it's completely run out of a fast-paced food truck you guys that's right they're not even in a restaurant they're in a food truck and they're still cranking out Wood-Fired pizzas authentic Italian meatballs I mean just food for the last decades that have been winning Awards after Awards after Awards and let me say one more time they're in a food truck now they're usually parked 1807 North Classen Boulevard go ahead and check them out if you haven't been here before last but not least let's talk about chicken beer located northwest 23rd Street now this restaurant is not too far from the gold dome in Oklahoma City so if you're not from the area I would make a whole day of it maybe check this spot out and see other things around the area also not too far from the Asian District now chicken beer was featured on the from Vikings to Wings episode which aired on season 32. and you guys this food is I mean I feel like I'm saying this for every restaurant of course it's all amazing that's why a guy loved them and featured them but this restaurant is different they use free-range chicken Source locally that's right support our Oklahoma Farmers here and even though they open just a few short years ago in 2017 there's a lot going on they have Asian inspired sauces that are all original and made in house and the owner's Vietnamese background brings to the Forefront items such as like kimchi fries and Sliders and just all other deliciousness we have been here a few times and I feel like if you go you will definitely be giving this spot a five-star rating all right guys so that has been today's video now are you guys triple D fans why or
