most dominating performances in the history of the rivalry behind four touchdowns from fullback bob ferguson the buckeyes broke open a 21-12 game with 29 fourth quarter points routing the wolverines 50 to 20. and if you're a buckeye fan this has to be one of the greatest ohio state michigan games of all time the rex current sneaked into the end zone michigan state seemed assured as ohio state up the count to 37-14 the next time ohio state got the ball it's reserves got a chance to impress ray gillian almost goes all the way [Music] gillian sprints 50 yards jim oda scored his third touchdown of the game and later added his flaw ohio state won the big ten championship with a convincing 50-14 victory over runner-up michigan [Music] ohio state leading 13-9 morehead a good fake pumps gets passing on virtually every down here gardner throws intercepted by cj barnett at the 48-yard line but cj barnett's doing a great job of reading the eyes he floated a little bit the ball was behind buck guys to their sixth perfect season in school history in 123 years of football [Applause] miller gonna air it out long he's got a man out there got him devin smith touchdown and there he goes on the quarterback draw and he's into the secondary great move and now the speed in the middle of the field looking for a stiffer on touchdown ohio state what a run miller again in the pocket now running out of the pocket directs traffic and now he'll keep it and braxton miller walks in touchdown ohio state 21 yards captain miller caused two michigan defenders to run into each other they ended up on the ground he ended up in the end zone watch the end of this play he's directing traffic those two guys took themselves out of the play and braxton miller walked gardner right side it's intercepted ohio state intercepts it tybus powell saves the season years starting to run a little bit better we'll see if that has an impact today as gardner throws deep and it is intercepted at the 40-yard line an easy pick for von bell jt barrett gets the snap out of the shotgun barrett looking shoulder shaking barrett takes off running 25 gets to the michigan 20 middle of field 15 10 5 touchdown jt barrett 25-yard touchdown run for barrett barrett in the shotgun gets the snap barrett takes off running coming wide to the left barrett is going to take it into the end zone for his second rushing touchdown today a three-yard carry his 11th rushing touchdown of the year fourth and one for the michigan 44. cardell jones gets the snap jones hands and elliot goes all the way to the 30 to the 20 to the 10 touchdown ezekiel elliott on a 44-yard run kevin gardner in the shotgun he's going to fling it again pressure coming garb and now joey boston knocks him down the football's loose darren lee's got it running up the left side to the 10 to the five touchdown darren lee as supposed to knock the ball away motioning behind the line snapped to jt barrett feeds it elliott sweeping left side to the 25 to the 30 35 40 hits the 50 down the left sideline to the michigan 40 to the 30 of the wolverines to the 20 and he's going to be dragged down inside the 15. bayonet motioning from behind the line snap to jt barrett hands it no he keeps it runs it straight ahead lugs a couple of defenders into the end zone for a touchdown barrett on a seven yard run jt barrett he had defensive lineman willie henry trying to stop him but barrett ends up scoring on the touchdown run his ninth of the season and buckeyes of the wolverine 25 barrett back to throw looking tosses right corner of the end zone for jalen marshall catches while being molested comes down with a ball for the score jalen marshall with a defender draped all over him delano hill but a 25-yard touchdown pass to jalen marshall but boy they have come in here with a sense of purpose and rudolph goes down and it's bosa and the ball's out and i think ohio state might have this one covered they went to an unbalanced line so this is not a tight end that's mason cole a starting tackle but he's normally the left tackle he lined up as the right tackle and bosa went right around him and got to the quarterback and knocked the ball loose you know it's definitely a mismatch if you put a tight end over joey bosha but you think you might have a chance barrett gets the snap barrett's going to keep it going left side he's to the michigan 15 to the 10 to the five into the end zone jt barrett 17 yard touchdown run taking it the left side his third rushing touchdown of the day jt barrett and ohio state's lead is 41-13 over michigan second to ten michigan ball at their own 48. bait back to pass throws a passage to kelly and grabbed by who runs down the left side boston to the 15 to the 10 and the quarterback's fate takes him down to the line leaning on that smaller defensive line again huge hole on the left side provided by thayer munford jonah jackson fields to throw it pump fake scrambles sets fires touchdown garen wilson wow justin fields comes off the bench and throws a strike have a day garrett wilson unbelievable what a play wilson stays alive gets the feet down in the end zone that was a dime by fields think about it fields is running dead left as fast as he can haskins he'll run it for the one yard can he get there no ohio state's defense turns him away and the wolverines turned it over on downs devon hamilton and malik harrison combining on the tackle what a day what a life dobbins first down dobbins dives touchdown ohio state the final score here at michigan stadium 56-27 ohio state dominant most dominant
