OG Metalcore is BACK!

I forgot how to start what's up [Music] everybody we going to react to the master Caleb don't include this excited the world of metal core is finally healing because after almost 6 years we have a brand new track from one of the absolute goats of metal core which is All That Remains Now All That Remains if you haven't heard of them before they're a that especially during the 2000s like of the melodic metal core ARA with like bullet as like dying of course kill switch engage they were just huge Titans especially with the album fall of ideals which to this day is it's one of it's my top like five album like it is it is god tier the riffs still hold up to this day the solos it has huge hooks it it is it is the perfect era of metal core encapsulated in one amazing album and then even overcome after that we are many and then you know the albums after that I get people weren't as into they did drop victim which was the last album with their late guitarist olly who was like a ginormous inspiration on myself and actually is probably one of the reasons I'm a guitarist and into metal core as much as I am that album was also really sick like but it's kind of sad cuz not a lot of people got to listen to it but it was heavier it was riffy but nonetheless a lot has changed since then they have Jason Richardson in the band now which is the hilarious like dude is a machine on his own and I'm just so stoked to see what Jason ATR is as well as a new Drummer Anthony who used used to be in like Shad of in 10 and he's in I think some other projects as well it's just a a super group Titan of people and as far as I know they're kind of going for old school All That Remains like follow ideals overcome but modern version that's all I needed to hear I am I am beyond stoked it's and very riffy and a lot of like leads sometimes in those in those riffs and Jason is just like Super Android version of that which is wild to hear just so much happening in that RI but it's good it's catchy it is reminiscence of that era Port Mike has to do all the harmonies for all that stuff too Jesus Christ the drumming too is just there's so much energy it's going off and then the vocals man like from the from the crazy Roars to like share that big more melodic chorus like this is nice so far I'm I'm I'm vibing the back walk with the dude yes dude [Music] yes dude [ __ ] drums What the fu harmonies this is taking me back this is All That Remains [Music] is those harmonies are sick too they're like not perfect thirds they're still like weird intervals with each other the M the W with [Music] head oh oh oh the send off to the solo right here what it is a solo right you can't do big betties on me and not solo yeah [Music] we're don't ask for the cover guys [ __ ] off I'm not doing it no way I already I quit guitar [ __ ] this [ __ ] dude what the [ __ ] was that what the f was that [Music] dude off Jason what is that there just there's so many notes but one thing I love about all our especially again all these all these solos is there's it's very fast there's a lot of notes but it's very melodic there's such catchy solos and like Jason is a fast boy and there's so much melody in the solo even though he's going so fast but what the is this [Music] run my kingom Rising the constant kicks so melodic and he just going [Music] breathe in and breathe out cuz now it's all in your [Music] hands dude this Rift and they and they play this riff earlier too it's very not alone like from Fall deal which is sick that's that's a cool little throw that [Music] what [Music] the it's like guess that's what happens when uh when when yeah Jason's like yo what's up guys so like let's like let's do the things the the really fast holy Fu he's fast the band's always been fast but this is this is insane again Anthony on drums he's a fast drummer I don't know much of his work I just know the stuff from Shadow and and Jason of course is they're just such crazy technical drummers and it's funny cuz they can just do whatever they want and it's just like okay yeah no problem we'll just do it there's really no limits and what Jason was mentioning to me at least was like yeah this is they're kind of going for old older Mains but it's modern like you know this is that's what this sounds and I can definitely hear the Jason and Jason is such an iconic sound to his guitar playing with how he bends and his shred that it's even though it does sound like All That Remains like it really does sound like Jason All That Remains which is cool and um yeah vocals are great too and then the drums are just pumping they feel more aggressive than they have been in like a long time which is great yeah the what the is this solo dude break break that's cool but [Music] this my arm would just [ __ ] break I'm not doing a guitar cover for that [ __ ] no no not having yeah there you go All That Remains is back it's been a minute and again this is a band that is I it's probably one of the reasons I do what I do today because follow ideals overcome just God to your goated records now I'm happy I think it sounds pretty cool I like the direction they're going in I'm curious to see how the album kind of fold even though I know Jason and Anthony are techy players it it is more Techni techie than I thought it would be like these Rifts are insane they're they're very insane I can tell they still like held back a bit cuz like all their am like again they're they're they they had you know OE has technical Rifts but it's it's not like as much like what the this feels like it has a bit more of a tech to it as a guitarist and even the drums but it's like controlled I did not expect even though one in that capacity to be that techy but hey they're pulling it they're pulling out the course was cool I I like the chorus I I didn't I didn't mind it like it's catchy it's open with like double kicks like a little throwback to like this calling and like not alone in some other stuff yeah all remains let's go I'm excited man more stuff let's go man I'm not going to play guitar after this no
