I've been chewing my way through the things I felt I missed in my sprint to graduate. Design patterns in OOP is a big one. I've had a few interviews where it came up, and I feel like I'm missing some big pieces. This set of videos really, really helped me square a few things away.
THey covered it in the Ucertify for both sw1 and 2, I believe, but most of us never even opened the Ucertify for either of those. ;)
I second/third the recommendations below, get the Head First Design Patterns and maybe Head First Object Oriented Analysis & Design to get a grounding in that. Wouldn't hurt to have the Gang of Four on your bookshelf to impress others.
EDIT: At my B&M back in the 90s, it was part of the Data Structures & Algorithms course. Using OO to do Linked Lists, etc.
