NYC Subway Conquesting Is Getting Worse

i made a video about conquesters in the subway system about a few months back and for a while it seemed like things started to return to a state of normalcy in the system however it seems like that has reversed and here we are again recently i've received information that a group of conquesters have been causing more trouble around the system first off let me explain the difference between a conquester and a foamer to not get anyone confused during this video foamers tend to just be hardcore transit fans who get wildly excited over rarities in the transit system things like the daily r160q train a random r142a2 train and 46's on the b tend to be things they foam over conquesters on the other hand tend to vandalize trains stealing their road signs messing with equipment in the cab and sometimes even assault transit authority employees i'm not going to be giving out any names in this video to preserve my own safety but you can find more information on this in my discord server according to sources one of the individuals in this quote unquote gang was involved in an incident in 2015 where an r32c train nearly derailed after running over a piece of metal at the northern avenue station in brooklyn not only that but some who are involved in this group have been said to have caused the fires which burned five buses in new jersey and ten nice buses in long island not only is this interfering with regular service but it is also making the system more unsafe for passengers and operators there have been reports of this group assaulting operators and conductors for their keys brake handles and more with them taking these items and using them to start up trains and even bring them out of the layups this brings us to the issue of security in our transit system if a random group of kids are able to cause this much trouble imagine with someone else who wants to cause another 36th street or garrett global incident could do we need more security in the subway system most of the cops i see in the system are on their phones and not paying attention so maybe that's not the answer but what about more cameras on our trains the mta has put into play a pilot program for installing cameras on our existing fleet but i think more needs to be done install cameras on all of the new techs and own more of the smes these incidents are unacceptable and need to be stopped immediately before someone gets seriously injured this video was made to bring awareness to this major issue in our transit system the longer it is ignored the longer it will continue and it will only get worse if these activities aren't stopped as the announcements say on the new text if you see any suspicious packages or activity on the platform or train do not keep it to yourself report it immediately if you see something say something for the rail fans out there if you see someone engaging in illegal activity do not engage with them report the situation these individuals are more than capable of injuring an innocent rail fan and there have actually been reports of this remember if you engage in these activities you are not considered a rail fan you are considered a criminal thanks for watching this video and thanks to stuart gruberman for joining the channel at the train service supervisor tier [Music]
