Around 2:23:00 +/- 30 seconds, he talks about modern day Reaganite-type conservatives and says that they believe in state power, that they're absolute statists, they believe in lawlessness (paraphrasing). How is it reconciled that they are absolute statists who believe in lawlessness? I'm sure he has good reasoning but I'm having trouble understanding.
Does he mean that they believe the state should have the power to "enforce lawlessness" to an extent? As in little or no regulation, wellfare, etc?
