Nintendo Switch Collecting is Dead.

we are here at Retro City Games in Vegas which is honestly probably my favorite store I've ever been [Music] to they're really nice here they're great people their selection is great their prices are great and their store is huge with huge s you know we don't need any more bags but that is really cool yeah but it's Capcom branded and GameStop and GameStop it'll fit a couple big books wonder if it was like E3 or something probably it's a little side bag very neat cool it's by all the Lego Dimension stuff randomly that's a lot of Lego Dimensions yeah it is I like the any of the 3DS boxes the Homer no we box oh there's the big uh well it is one we don't have we do have one of the Disney infinities but not I don't know if I want it though we'll think about that yeah we'll have to think about that maybe as a last resort that's a that's a lot of um real estate in our G room is for something we will never ever play well we say that but half our 3DS collection we won't never play either but well we might stream them we might a shobi marquee oh look at look the price on that wow the sealed imaginators that's crazy that's cool look at how the yoio pocket games oh we might find something here we don't have card Fighters Clash there's some packman games we have both the dive alerts I love their cases by the way I love them the plastic clip cases yeah the clamp clam shells I love the smash brother champion belt that's pretty sweet that's an award I could never win I do like the game but I am not that good alien Crush we have we have doubles and alien Crush oh okay good cuz those are those are great games fun games and then of course we have a gamecom cuz it's our best handheld system just kidding we don't have one and we don't want one I mean you never know if we find one at a garage sale yeah why not do they have Sega ages for our working designs collection by the way if you hear my voice I am sick I achieved a sinus infection on my birthday so happy birthday to me I'm getting over that but uh I'm high on Puda fed and antibiotic so I can talk H for modern medicine yeah there's some really cool games here Space Jam some I've I've never heard of I'll be honest I'm not sure of the depth of the Sega Saturn but yeah I don't see Sega ages unfortunately okay so I have to admit I don't know a lot about Sega so we're trying to learn more about him and uh places like this are the perfect way to do that I mean shining in the darkness is one I know we've been looking for but no manual we'll have to pass there's a lot of RPGs on the system that we just haven't played that we need to so comment below what's your favorite Sega RPG any any Sega console just very curious to hear what youall think about that now I really like the artwork for EXO Squad I don't know if the game is good or not yeah there's Chu on wow what's Marvel land I don't know looks weird looks like a puzzle game maybe yeah so a lot of cool stuff but uh have no idea about most of this so probably pass it all it what about some gangar what is that devilish I don't see anything special there devilish I've never heard of yeah crazy well we do love magic Knight rare is one of our bangers in our collection but we don't have that version that is a Japanese Game Gear Game of mag R so cool um you know what Game Gear region free yeah I wonder if we could English patch it maybe but it might have dual language support maybe I think we need to get it oh we can definitely play it on the analog that's true that's true and then we can use a card to English support it yeah we're doing this so cool big box PC games that's not something we know a lot about No I I like to keep an eye out for potentially Amiga games cuz they look pretty similar that one Amiga that's probably the one you grew up with I mean I don't know if we've played the tribes mhm like I know we've played the original and like the sequel but that's really cool yeah it is we're not really fans of sitting at the computer after work cuz we already work on the computer all day so we'd like to not that's what we're big handheld Gamers cuz it's everything but a computer right there's a Japanese section here it's like all Japanese that's aome yeah so some anime which is cool but what's this oh Philip CDI what the heck that's a lot and there's some 3dio in there that's crazy some odds and ends yeah these are what it's all about right here so elard baseball Dragon Quest 6 talk about a cheap R to play Donkey Kong like as long as you have the means to do it that's way more affordable than in the US that's for sure and then a bunch of Japanese super ficom games if you want an affordable way to play Dragon Quest 6 yeah if you can read it you know you just get a translation patch and you're good to go English patch yeah okay that's adorable only in Japan I think you probably fill it with water and then yeah it's one of those uh games that we used to play when we were kids oh yeah totally I had the one with the dolphin and the Rings is impossible it's great I wish I would have picked this up back when it was cheaper because that's like one of the better version of Tetris it's a shame prettyy nice secret R is there yeah it is wow what do have over there there's might magic 2 I've never played that one I don't I bought it's probably not good I haven't heard anybody talk about it got to give it up to Retro City games for having some of the coolest displays look at this right I love the 3D effects with the layering of the cup uh cardboard now you're already a fan of monkeys no she hates monies but you got to respect the the art and quality of that that's really cool of the I mean we know about the bangers but the non- bangers are puzzle World 3D and travel Adventures hell Kitty and friends so those are the two like but also junior classic that's right so those three specifically are the ones that were most likely to stumble upon and this store has everything but I don't see any of those maybe in their complete games pman party no dang it what about the loose games so these are games that we have loose on 3DS that we don't have complete that if we can find him complete that would be great so like Adventure Time secret of nameless Kingdom uh they have Adventure Time hey Ice King but they don't have the other one uh alen chaos Barbie now let's see dang it really we're not going to find any [Music] we'll find something we want nonetheless so far we really want the uh Magicite rare so that's something aluminous Arc one and two I think we have both of those complete in their big boxes we're missing one of them H we'll have to check our collection so we'll do this live Nintendo DS going to L's we have lar one and 2 CIB and I think they both have their manuals yep box and [Music] manual oh we are missing the manual for lunar luminous Arc 2 so if that one is complete that might be a good upgrade that's a good price too the other cool thing about this place is they've just got a huge switch collection in like huge yeah 3500 yeah something like that so in addition to having all of this over there there's also a ton so Now's the Time to pick up switch games oh my goodness switch games there are so many oh there's evil land that was a fun game by the way that's the one where you start out like 2 bit or whatever and you go all the way up to 64- bit they just put a a bundle on Evol Land one and two that's right we haven't played two yet physical copy for we need to play two at some point so maybe we'll find that one soon there's so many games I've never heard of happy birthdays what there trails from zero there's a little wood Kon that was one you were playing Kion yeah that one was fun you have a little monster that devours the people around him and that's how you progress to the level so there's a Japanese Eastward oh there's a golf story in the big box that's the good one right there you're going to play a golf game it's also an RPG that's the one to play looks like that one's Japanese yeah that's really cool this is clearly a child appropriate game probably not the Collector's Editions are insane I mean we have a lot of these anaka and a giraffe not a good game by the way we tried it and uh it's not good it's like stupidly easy and dumb down version of every game you've ever played that's Rhythm or platforming lero Crystal that one's also very uh [Music] adult okay what' you find a whole stack of v skins skins what the heck they're all the Persona ones oh yeah they came in the dancing all night bundle yeah the these are the fronts and the other one's the back that is really cool there's only one of the black left yeah looks like a Darksiders wow $350 that is crazy there's the Sea of Thieves controller which is very famous for being expensive boy that brings me back the original Xbox Live starter kit and some Halo face plates from one of the best Halos ever made one of my favorite um GBA link GameCube games Pacman versus it's great R also known as lost kingdoms oh no I want to get crushed so cool [Music] a it's got the character on the front cute yeah with the manual and everything okay we'll go ahead and get that cuz it's adorable sounds good thank you okay am I the only one that used to play this on PC all the time it was like so cool the graphics were so incredible when it was on computer pod yeah just pod this one looks uh better than it did on computer that I remember it was it was pretty rough but you know back then it was great I don't know if we have that for a Dream Collection yet that is something we are kind of casually going for for complete yeah not super serious not super serious the only reason is because we stumbled upon some very valuable ones long ago for cheap yeah so now we're like well we might as well literally a whole shoe box like size 13 shoe box worth of Dreamcast games for 100 bucks it was crazy and it had like Mars Matrix and Giga wi too it was just crazy it was wild you know something else we're looking for longbox PS1 games and I see one here that we don't have does it have its manual maybe but there's also another one two over that looks a little nicer no manual man skip which one oh yeah another F Lings does that one have its manual it's five bucks more it's got to they're slightly torn though let's do a switch see if they'll let us okay that one has its manual so we'll get that yeah we'll bring them both up see if they'll let us do that or if they want to charge us five bucks more or whatever we'll figure it out fraking aliens it's not it's enough to get a guy poed that's uh really expensive $3.49 good thing we only paid like 20 bucks I think we paid 20 bucks for it that's really cool at uh grandma games yeah wow that's crazy okay so the Panasonic alkaline Game Boy Color for 350 that one was uh so Doug the owner here told us about this last time we were here I guess when they originally released the Game Boy Color they started packaging them with the Panasonic batteries so they branded a lot of them with that title on it but they weren't labeled on the outside of the box so if you have an early Game Boy Color you might have a rare variant that says pis Sonic at top it's pretty cool browsing through these we actually found uh this game which we've been actually looking for I Love The Tao no tesu genene but this one's an adventure it's an RPG RPG yeah what T Tao T an RPG save the world with your drone beads I like that idea once again we have failed to knock anything off of our 3DS working designs uh quest list and uh that's okay because we got some crazy stuff so magic KN R Earth for Game Gear uh don't know what this is going to be like but I'm excited it's adorable nonetheless yeah uh we bought luminous Arc 2 we actually needed the manual this is a condition upgrade for us so uh great long box game they gave us a deal and put the manual in it which is awesome and then another one that just kind of spawned up the Tao no tesene rhythmic Adventure Pack so it's one and two which is a tao drum master RPG so weird so weird we're going to play [Music] it
