and the nominees are best actress in a musical Natasha Hodson for operation minc me at the 14 theater casy ly the next to normal at the dmar warehouse Nicole sheringer for Sunset Boulevard of the cavoy theater Marisha Wallace for Guys and Dolls of the bridge theater and the Olivia award goes to Nicole Scherzinger sunet [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] first of all I'd like to thank God for saving me from that trip right there but honestly I'd like to thank God because without him I am nothing um I want to thank you all of you the London theater Community for wrapping your arms and legs around me like a spotter monkey and embracing me as one of your own oh my gosh I want to thank my familyes back in Hawaii my mom she is the reason I am she is the reason that Norma is the warrior that she is my dad my sister kayala my fiance for being my biggest cheerleader I want to thank Andrew Lloyd Weber my dear friend and Mentor for writing this masterpiece alongside Don black and Christopher Hampton thank you so much for writing music and lyricss that I can sink my teeth and my soul into like this every night this is something Hannah would do um but you go like real and that's how we do it that's how we do oh my gosh Focus Nicole um I want to thank oh my gosh The Producers uh the Sunset cast creative team I love you all so much every night um it was an honor to do live theater with you but not only just live theater but theater that was alive um Tom Francis you accepted your award but uh you going to hear this later um it was a game-changing performance um as a little girl from Havi and then grown growing up in Kentucky coming from really humble beginnings I always wanted to be a singer and do musicals and I dreamed of so many roles that I wanted to do and honestly this role Norma Desmond was not one of those roles I was like Jamie what are you thinking but God works in mysterious ways because it's honestly one of the uh ballsiest and bravest things I've ever done and I have the incomp incomparable director um Jamie Lloyd to thank for that Jamie you you saw me for me and you saw me like no one else has ever been able to see me and you took musical theater and you turned it into an art installation and you created a space that championed us to be able to tell a raw and honest truthful story night after night and I cannot wait to come for blood on Broadway with you and the rest of the team um yeah and you gave us new ways to dream Here's to Us continuing to give the world new ways to dream thank you [Music]
