it's a rarely seen penalty and usually results from frustration stamkos is just flinging the stick to get rid of it blocks the pass from terry and goes ahead to stevenson flying out was gibson there's an empty net and a penalty coming up to the ducks here a penalty they had to take as terry touches up it's going to be a penalty shot john so he'll swing in off left wing as he approaches gibson who makes the save the puck came outside not able to get his stick he does have a stick though it's darnell nurses darnell nurse louis had the right idea but just a little bit too far away yeah a little and he threw it into the crowd and i don't know whether that's a two-minute penalty or a 10-minute penalty but you can't do that and that fan has got a souvenir one of the graphite that was just made with ovechkin a breakaway opportunity here and the stick has been back that's going to be our first ever all-star penalty fraud alexander ovechkin after blowing a tire at one end decides you know what
