greetings traveler when it comes to uh the leaving minions right because there's so many new minions we're kind of just going to Breeze through this right and talk about the ones that affect so uh yeah economy leaving that's huge right that's a big impact Mana saber although quests are going to be out right next season so Mana saber is mainly just a good Quest minion but Mana saer was pretty toxic so I'm okay with that being gone Surf and surf is one of my favorite one drops I'm kind of sad and the rest honestly doesn't really matter I don't think uh relevant at all tier two that's a lot of stuff going but honestly I don't think it matters I'm not going to talk about oh like this Beast is going and the like cuz there's so many there's so much rework so I'm just going to look if there's anything that stands out specifically for like big game play decisions but even that is very difficult because it's so hard to talk about this if you don't know exactly what's coming in and if you don't know the meta so like tier 2 there's nothing that that stands out tier three there's dread beard for economy pain smudger leaving that means right you can't do the rou stuff so that's probably the most impactful here on tier three and then feder but I think banana was out right as well so the Federman being out doesn't matter as much tier four sporebat out as big right that's spell generation oh well jug Pepa hams yeah jug feels a bit outdated I don't really buy many jugs anymore feldrake is really big right fake has been very very influential this meta so probably regardless of the changes to the game that's that's a big B one smolder I kind I liked a lot right that was a fun card to set up triples with grim scale was good for scamming so here we can see some more impactful cards leaving tier five yeah banana is by far the most impactful here Matador comes in at the second Sandstone master was a comp but you know there's going to be so much rework they probably don't miss it but banana out is huge that's the big one that's that's a huge huge change all right and it's it's all going to make more sense when we go over to new stuff right because this is all getting replac plac of course it's not like we're going to play with fewer cards warping out is huge so you can't win Fury warp wiing we talked about that there's a new Dragon cart that gives wind Fury right so you can't wind Fury warping ignition out so a lot of spell generation out right we saw no sporebat no ignition so we're going to have to see if that gets replaced chicken and banana out so that's a huge change to Beast no golden out though so I wonder how goldon is going to work now that there's no more chicken and banana Queen out sure they probably replace it with something else right they've been kind of doing that recently where like bring in Queen and then bring in Matador and then remove Leroy and remove you know other poison cards so they probably replace it with a different scam card Greta out that was only just for this uh half season right that's fine faang sure she was pretty nerfed you weren't playing that much failings recently let's have a look at the new cards so on tier one Misfit Dragon Ling gain stats equal to your tier that's that's like a rock pool right it's a two three in the combat and then it becomes a 34 when you level that seems fine that's one of those cards that seems like okay to buy and then it becomes a 4 five when you go to three that actually seems like a really solid One Drop Like not I'm not unhappy to buy that right we have to see if there is much power creep in general but if this is the only one drops then I guess not when this attacks gain 21 so it's a 1 three that becomes a 34 that just seems like a frustrating card to buy when you go second but you do have 3 HP so you probably can tank a hit and then attack so it's probably fine I think I prefer a dragon Ling but this is fine I guess Court puller Divine Shields death rattle summon a one- run robot whoa wa that's good because this is like a neotron but instead of a HP you get a token that's way better because 2 Hp is very unlikely to tank but like the way you can look at it is an annoyatron is going to deal one damage lose the shield and then deal one damage and die this is going to deal one damage lose the shield deal one damage get the token deal one damage so it deals three so that is that is much better than anron so strong strong W drops strong for combat very hungry winter finner taunt whenever this takes damage give a minion in your hand one one so that's mercules esque was mercules leaving let me have a look yeah mercules is out so this is the new mercules that's okay early right that's not something you're really going to build around like crazy but taking damage is always happening whereas mercules doesn't always kill anything so but this is one one instead of 2 two silver Goose whenever this takes damage summon a two two fledgling with taunt so you can compare that to sewer rat but there's a chance this goes off twice so that's pretty good yeah I think that's a pretty decent uh two drop that's a good two drop to buy a rate rooster start of the combat deal one damage to adjacent minions give them four attack so we already see some Synergy here right so that seems like a early game package similar to what we have right now with Mana saber hummingbird we have silver Goose rooster if you pick those two up together you get some nice stuff fire dancer death rle deal one damage to all minions yeah so they have some self damage stuff available so you have the winter finner that you can self damage for more Buffs you have the silver Goose that you can self damage so that's really going to depend on your shop if you have that self damage package Synergy available but they seem fine like without it and then good if you have it so that seems like good Tempo hey guys the rest of the review was recorded live on stream but I seem to have missed a few cards oops so this is some YouTube exclusive content you love to see it all right let's tack the mech which I left out this is quite an exciting uh concept where they're adding a ton of the same card but not quite they're all on tier two they're all max they're all 43 so that's all the same they just have different keywords we got wind Fury stealth theine Shield reborn taunt magnetic this feels a little bit weird because when I think about a zelc I think that I always want magnetic cuz I'm thinking about what kind of a unit can I enhance with this probably for balance reasons they can't make an inherently magnetic but it feels feels like it's going to be an awkward type deal where I'm always looking to get the magnetic part oh I should mention that when you have three of these they combine and all the keywords are combined and then you can play it right so the basic example would be let's get Divine Shield let's get wind Fury let's get magnetic and let's put that on a faux Reaper and have some fun that would be ideal right so that's that's a cool thing you can do you can also put this on amalgam type creatures right anyone that's Mech but also other types dual type mechs just pure Mech so it is nice to tailor something because sometimes you are going to want stealth let's say you have an avenge Mech we saw that in the previous meta there was this uh five drop avenge you get a mechad draxus part right you get an extra magnetic something like that would benefit from stealth whereas most mechs would probably want Divine Shield reborn I think that's probably the best one but then a for Reaper would want wind Fury but the tricky thing here is that you're always going to want magnetic you're almost never going to want taunt like maybe like early game it's okay you can also triple this without the magnetic but then you have to play it as just like here is this dumb Mech thing that I have to play and I can't magnetize it's just like put it on the board and that's it design-wise it feels a little clunky now probably it's too strong if it has inherently magnetic so it's probably a limiting factor that they need to put in but it it just feels annoying I I would say it it seems like it's going to be oh I need the magnetic one and then the taunt one is probably trash the stealth one is likely not something I'm going to want I'm pretty much always going to want Divine Shield I'm probably almost always going to want reborn and you know sometimes I want the wind Fury for the F Reaper so yeah that that's my take on it it's um it's a cool concept but I'm not sure how it plays out right now it feels a bit clunky avenge three give minions in your hand and board one one permanently a Mech murlock I guess depending on your start this is fine yeah well I don't know you can't you're probably not really holding cards though but sometimes you just generate a card well if they remove if they remove quests say you you you remove resources so boards are already smaller yeah I'm I'm having a bit of a hard time evaluating this cuz there is potential for this to be very good but the issue is that you're you have to fuel it with avenge so you're not buffing your whole board right by the time the second avenge procs you're basically only buffing this guy I think there's probably better stuff when this takes damage get a blood gem three times per combat that seems reasonable but you have to see how good quillo are going to be whether this card is playable or not or good or not depends on how good gems are right how easy over the time you have to buff them hateful hag whenever this attacks give the minion to the right to Reborn wow wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait if they bring Leroy back you guys see a problem with that reborn lero baby but I mean you'd have to waste the board slot on hateful hag right so what else can you reborn Mador is out Queen is out yeah just reborn scam if you have taunt right it's fine without taunt it's going to be a little sketchy because they can snipe the minion you're going to reborn or they can snipe the hag if they snipe the minion you're going to reborn this is still going to reborn so so I think if you have taunt this is a really solid three drop to pick up cuz if you can add reborn early on to a good death rattle then you are you're adding you're adding a lot of value so something as simple as let's say death rattle add a coin right you have that Naga that would do that so death Ratt will add a spell just yeah I don't know sporebat is going to be out I don't yeah you'd have to see if you have if you have some value with this early that'd be nice fiery fell Bloods death rattle minions in the tavern of plus three attack this game wait is that not just like broken plus three attack for every time it dies I can play two of them there's no way that stays on three attack it's a death rattle so you can milk that and we know that giving a lot of attack to the shop is very useful for Shields and stuff that's one example you can reborn yeah good good point reborn on the F Bloods tius with the F blood double F blood golden F blood it's like filamental riik Vibes right just like and then you just have a big shop and you can eat a big shop although the dragon is out to eat the shop right yeah false implic at the end of your turn consume a minion gain the stats so there's already some Synergy here right if you have F Bloods yeah that's probably fine it it depends on how small it is on the first turn you play it then it's probably okay right it starts as a one two and then it eats yeah that seems good actually F blood seems broken though cuz the it's later in the game this being a death rattle is a little bit of a detriment CU then it goes too slowly later in the game you want it to be a battlecry so you can be next to RAC but early game it being a death rattle is so good getting it proing multiple times whenever this attacks deal one damage to your other minions that's that's insane this will get nerfed for sure the felblood will get nerfed the rampager will get nerfed it's a three Mana 88 that's insane you just put this in the back and you taunt it if you don't want to deal damage and if you have Synergy you put it in the front rampager seems insane 88 for three drop is so much Tempo dear God that's so much Tempo it's hard to overstate how strong this makes you when you buy it you have to look at cards like this the text is not quite this right the text is whenever this attacks deal one damage to your other minions and heal for 12 like get 12 extra health because you're no longer losing fights cuz you have an 88 yeah that's really good whenever you cast a Tavern spell give your other minions plus one attack that's going to have its place it's kind of like that other minion that uh three drop that gave plus one attack whenever you played something that had higher attack than it so you play that with shields so you can play this with shields I guess but probably not like a must buy at all then slimy felblood battlecry minions have plus two HP so that's that's much weaker than the plus three attack one because it's a battlecry early on but later on it's better because you can put it next to RAC so you can start out with the fiery felblood and then the slimy felblood can catch up with RAC later roaring raller whenever a friendly dragon attacks give it plus two plus two sure that's like rip snarl but you get health as well yeah that's like a dragon rip snar it's on three instead of two but plus two plus two is definitely yeah you have some starts this is going to be very good battlecry get a random Tavern spell from tier two that's a lot of fun that works with brand so it's like the panda but you know you're just like eh I'll just cast it then hopefully I get oil or I get investment what is on two right now lasso is totally fine to get oil is great to get plus lter light that's right so plus 2 plus 2 plus 3 plus three that's a bit of a low roll right you want economy ring that's a bit of a low roll you want the economy does shady say oil I love how that's a thing now right they say oil when I play my first brand shell Whistler and I get two oils it's like hey everyone videos like this one take a little bit of extra time and energy to make so if permanently yeah yeah that's good if you have a beast start that's good it's but I mean it's okay Tempo the issue is it's a three drop so usually you kind of level past three and you go to four so it depends a bit on the meta the card itself is not terrible but you would you would need to have some Beast on your board at the start and then you'd have to stay on tier three so maybe if you have like two of these or so I don't think it's an R above it doesn't say wherever they are or something like that tier fours yeah tier fours give your other Beast plus one plus 4 sure again right the issue is you want to see where this is headed right cuz if you're just going to spend your time buffing a beast board it has to be just pure Tempo it's not like you're building up that board and then keeping it so this this is like completely dependent right if you have six beasts on your board then sure right you'll take that Tempo it's fine draconic death scale spellcraft trigger a friendly minions battlecry that's very good that's very very good that's really nice cuz it's trigger right so you can have brand on the board and it'll trigger twice that's very very good oh my oh yeah I'm going to go to Value town with that have a good battlecry on the board with a brand two of these guys and then milk milk milk it's a Naga Dragon right that makes sense so that's highly buffable you can buff it with C you can buff it with Lord of gains that's yeah okay this is really good this is it's actually very very good crafty arasi whenever this takes damage steal five to a random enemy minion uh you have to Triple into that for it to be playable that falls off a cliff so fast right because the damage people get way higher HP right so if you deal a static amount like five five that does nothing in a late game right when when you're when you're up against several hundred health of minions it doesn't matter like oh I dealt five nobody gives a so this is like only good when you get it super early when you triple when you triple on tier three turn five when you level to tier three you take a triple you're like okay maybe I'll just take this because it's like deal one deal five deal one deal five but even then you would probably just I mean if you could get the death scale for Value that would be way way better so yeah I don't like this card I don't think it's good assistant guards battlecry give a minion taunt then give taunt minions 2 three oh I like that I like that a lot that's great okay this is like strong shell but better that's good that's fun that's fun okay I like that that's that's a fun card I mean it's pretty obvious when it's good right if you have brand and taunts then it's good and it's still a tech card right so you can still just make taunts winked Chima whenever this takes damage give a friendly minion of each type to one oh that's good right it doesn't say other friendly minions so it can buff itself you can run two camaras on one board right and buff each other and they keep each other alive and then you well it's only one HP though so it's not like they're going to go on forever but that's that's good that's it's a little bit like a urel but just easier because it's an all type you can keep it on your board so yeah this this is nice you just run two of these and then it's easy cards to triple and you can just keep it and it falls off of course right cuz it's only a two1 buff it's pretty good when you're just on tier four early whenever this takes damage get a random spellcraft spell whoa that's like pasmar but a bit easier to proc the the trick with this thing is once you get it procing a little bit you can slam all the spell crafts on this minion to keep it healthy so it procs three times again it's fine I don't think it's insane or anything like that but it's uh it's pickable I would say on four I have to see if the spellcraft minions changed a lot persistent poet Divine Shield adjacent dragons permanently keep your asking for trouble I feel like that's a very courageous decision spider devs like let's just turn everything into a tag Goa I'm sure they won't find a way to break the game with this surely they're not going to break the game I yeah I can't believe they went for this all right so I can turn any of my dragons into a taro set I can't wait that's that's definitely not going to be abused what if it dies mid combat it's so it oh but it has to be alive when the Buffs happen but you can do start of combat Buffs right and you can taunt stuff it should be alive I think for its effects to go off so that's a bit but still you can taunt you can taunt and it has Divine Shield it has Divine Shield it's not going to die it has Divine Shield Chad uh night Bane ignited taunt death rattle give two random friendly minions this minions attack oh cool so they make it very easy for us to abuse this card already nice how do you abuse this you run two night Banes but they have taunt right so it's harder to give them the Perma Buffs so how do you slam a lot of attack on your nightbane I'm going to see if dra is is in I don't think they removed draas no okay okay so dra aath is in all right GG you just slam drath with bran on this right so un taunt it with pants then put it next to poet then have one night Bane feed the other night Bane that's pretty complicated so we can just slam dra aats on it oh and they changed promo Drake start of combats give your other dragons 3 three so that's already a way to buff the night ban and then the poet will make the night Bane keep the stats because it's just all other dragons right and you put the poet next to the night Bane all right wow this is um I think if dragons are in you stay on four and you just roll for promo poet nightbane that's so insane this whole package is on four poet nightbane already seems disgusting this guy doesn't look insane but he's actually really good you have the tier three dragon that gives Divine Shield you have two poets right and you put that on the board you run the Divine Shield Dragon until you permanently Shield everything and then you can sell them right then you have high damage shield and we know that that's good right that's already been tested and done many many many times high damage Divine Shield BS are very strong so the night Bane will put damage on your board the poet with Amber Guardian that will be very good reborn whoa oh you're right wait I didn't even think of that hag you're right especially when you already have a shield on your night Bane the hag goes off you permanently put reborn on nightbane but it doesn't come back with the Giga damage though it's still good but it won't come back with the Giga damage it'll just be six right but still that's that's not bad because it's an extra body it deals with Phenom and all that okay Long John copper whenever this takes damage get a gold coin three times per combat I think an abort where you have self damage ready to go this is sweet where you can essentially self damage it twice and then have it hit and die and you're getting three gold per turn that's kind of like the quill board the quill board that makes you discard a spell and then you get four gold if you can keep that card it's very good so I think if you have self damage ready to go or you have ballist on this guy it's really nice iridescent Sky Blazer whenever a friendly Beast takes damage give a friendly Beast other than it one one permanently man that's some pretty sick Tempo you can do with the bull and then a bunch of other beasts okay that's some good mid game Tempo but you have to see where that goes right but it's good it's good ear like if you just roll a bunch of beasts early like that's that's not a bad board but you have to see uh how it's How It transitions into the late game Marine matriarch whenever this takes damage get a random Tavern spell three times per combat same thing here right if you have some self damage this is really good yeah wow Elemental spell generation ooh okay is it not too slow well we're not talking about it being an engine we're talking about it oh I just went to four and I have a board of beasts let me put this guy on the board right we're not talking about it being a late game engine it's way too slow to buff your board to compete with proper stats but it's more if you start it out with beasts you can put it on your board and it's fine yeah this is really good Marine matriarch is really good shental spellcraft choose a minion in the tavern give it stats to a random friendly minion that's also really good holy crap that's good fluidity anyone fluidity has to be out right cuz what's to stop me from having two of these on my board and then just swapping my biggest minion in the shop and casting two of these spell crafts and just go like chunk chunk buff buff but still you can you can you can buff The Tavern and then still just use this this is this is a good card most of the time things with spell craft that give you value right permanent value every turn that's good A lot of the spellcraft is just temporary but this is permanent so there's there's a lot of permanent spellcraft value uh coming out chargings Arena Divine Shield whenever you cast a Tavern spell give your minions with Divine Shield three attack uh that's like Nala on five that's really not bad cuz you struggle finding Nala a lot of the time with the right setup this is good okay so basically all just good cards here the fives are all strong choose a friendly Minion from tier four or below make it golden it's friendly so I can't throw it on the shop right it's not Golden Touch that's a lot of money but there's there's some buils that are going to want this I guess sometimes you're more than happy to pay six gold to Golden your you law en Fortune granter start of combat make your lowest tier minion golden oh my god dude dragons are going to be so broken what the because you make everything permanent golden what are they doing this is so silly everything's golden now cuz you have the you have the dragon that makes adjacent minions keep their Buffs yeah dragons seem really good cuz my assumption is that this will skip all golden targets already it will go to the lowest non- golden yeah I I would definitely say that this is going to ignore Minions that are already golden I feel like that's like we've seen that in the past like these these type of effects they they skip over things that aren't eligible targets yeah okay chief chief asked so that's really really really good you're just going to have a full Golden Dragon board right yeah okay wow Unforgiven Trend taunt whenever this takes damage give your minions plus one attack permanently it's a non-type that just seems like a toxic minion to Triple into early and then becomes irrelevant later trior the Lasher whenever another friendly Beast takes damage gain two Health permanently this has a lot of HP but we know that like when you play badest on a pirate and it has 40 Health but it has six damage it does nothing right so you need to find a way to give this damage otherwise it's not useful cuz we've we've all done that before right we we gave a ton of HP to a minion only to realize that doesn't do anything if it doesn't have damage it just gets value traded by a 2020 or a 3030 Battle Master yeah Battle Master is the same Battle Master just gets traded into if you couldn't give it damage all right so yeah we'll see if there's a way to give it damage top of the bean stock for five gold discover Minion from tier six sure you'll buy that in in a lot of situations it's kind of like a lease right but instead of having to roll five times and then spend two gold buying the monkey I guess it's technically one gold right cuz you could sell the six drop so it's one gold cheaper than a lease effect oh yeah and you pull this from uh random spell generation right the the the elemental that creates a Tavern spell you get it from this that's broken that's so good spiked savior taunt death rattle deal one damage to your minions and it give them one Health so more Health yeah so we have a lot of ways to give HP but we need damage on the slasher Moon eater champion after you play an A tier cards give your other a tier minions one one so it's like Theodor is but it's for all your odd minions but then you're pretty restricted and then it is only one one huh I'm having a hard time evaluating this card my instinct is that it's not going to be worth cycling but I have to play The Meta a little bit because maybe there's a lot of specific economy odd tier cards where you can actually cycle really well and there's a pretty good lineup of a tier minions so I I have this system of evaluating right how fast things are if they're fast enough or too slow or really good the way how it works right now right based on the current meta this is way too slow but I have to see The Meta like I don't know maybe it's different right now I think it'd be too slow all right tier six untameable H blizzard when this takes damage gain Divine Shield oh my god dude that's so toxic imagine tripling into this on nine gold nine gold your opponent has a 16 Health Mech Beast that when it takes damage it gains Divine shield and it's not limited once per combat or something it's just like oh I hit your tutu get time to get my shield again wow yeah this is insane this is so annoying to fight early it's not like it's economy for later but I'm sure we'll find a way to break this card because this is the per this is a perfect minion to give a ton of HP at right this is a perfect minion to give a ton of stats and those minions are always good to have cuz in some games you just have a sick engine and you just need a good Target and this is a perfect Target cuz it's not limited it's just going to keep going obviously if it gets hit with poison when it doesn't have a shield it's it's done but it's still much more resilient than things that don't give itself Divine Shield whoa okay yeah that's that's such a silly thing to Triple into early 16 health when you pull it what a you're not going to kill this right you're just going to take 15 wow that's disgusting okay hoarding hat spawn start of combat steal 1010 from the highest health enemy minion all right so this just removes 101 from the highest health enemy minion and then gives it to itself but it doesn't keep it right but that's sick Tempo again right that's six6 sick Tempo that's a 3030 sort of not really but it's 303 worth of stats that's going on you can give it the permanent uh buff but this doesn't scale right like you don't really care if it gains plus 10 plus 10 permanently every turn I don't think that's fast enough right no but it's sick Tempo if you triple into it early but I don't think I don't think a permanent 10 10 matters actually no no I take it back if you if you have poet on your board and you then triple into this early that's a free level six right because then you have a 2020 for the next turn that steals 1010 becomes a 30 30 and then the turn after that you have a 3030 that's that's yeah so if you have poet on your board and you then triple into this you have a free pass for like two three turns which is pretty good yeah that can be sick if you have poet then you didn't triple into this this is sick Tempo grey M's Champion oh this is this is like the odd and even from standard from years ago right yeah the wolf after you play an Eventing card give your other even tier minion 2 two okay wait this is 2 two it's not one one wow that's so much better that's so much better wait what it says other though so it doesn't buff itself so it's thear for the whole board yeah I mean that that has potential okay well again it's going to be metad dependent but this has way more chance to be good than the other one we have to see how much economy there is for even tier minions like Tad and stuff like that Pokey Thorn mantle at the end of your turn give blood gems an extra 1 one this game oh wow wait what wa that's a sick triple end of turn this Stacks with drari you have two of these with drari plus four plus four on your gem at the end of the turn it's like not not a crazy amount compared to what RAC does when it really really goes off but RAC requires a lot of uh help right it requires a lot of setup whereas if you triple into this you could just have it so if you have a blood gem Factory then yeah this is this fine I don't think this is something you're going to force right but the fact that it just works without having to do anything right is nice it's so slow yeah but it works with drari and you can have two of them and you can already have gems on your board right but we'll see we'll see we'll see it's definitely not something I look at being like wow crazy amazing right but it's nice it's neat it's like the tier s quillard the tier s quilboar gives plus one plus one death rattle right now that's that's really good to put next to RAC all right we'll see uninvited guests start of combat give your other minions death rattle summon a three2 shadow so this is just the undead late game to give everything a token that's interesting though because this makes carts like handless worse and it opens the door to just running more anuar and Titus and all that because when you add another death rattle something that already has a death rattle gets worse so there's there's more opportunity to get value death rattles that don't make more stuff that's it I think all right we got through it it's a big list that's a lot of changes but there's a lot of stuff here all right looking forward to playing it for sure
