MY GOODNESS. GOOD MORNING. LET MEGA DOPPLER 7000 HD SHOWING THE STORM MOVING ON OUT. NOW UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT ANOTHER STORM WITH SOME BIGGER IMPACTS COMPARED TO THIS LAST ONE. AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE COULD SEE POTENTIALLY SOME SIGNIFICANT FLOODING HERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS WE GET INTO THIS WEEKEND. SO YEAH, IT COULD AFFECT DEFINITELY SOME WEEKEND PLANS, ESPECIALLY AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR SUNDAY. NOW WE DO HAVE SOME LEFTOVER SHOWERS OUT THERE. NOT A WHOLE LOT OF THEM. A LITTLE SELL OVER INTO THE LONG BEACH AREA AND THEN FURTHER SOUTH AND EAST OUT TOWARD THE LOW DESERT, TOWARD YUCAIPA, TOWARD CABAZON AND THEN SAN CLEMENTE. ALSO GETTING SOME SHOWERS. SO DOWN INTO SOME AREAS ALSO OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY. SO THE CHANCES OF SEEING A SCATTERED SHOWER IS GOING TO REALLY DECREASE AS WE HEAD INTO THE REST OF THE DAY. TODAY AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO LOOK AHEAD TO THIS WEEKEND, WHERE WE COULD SEE LIGHT SHOWERS AS EARLY AS YOUR SATURDAY, LATE AFTERNOON, AND THEN THE HEAVY RAINFALL BEGINS ON SUNDAY. AND WE COULD SEE A LOT OF IMPACTS. SO THIS FLOOD WATCH WE HAVE IS IN PLACE STILL FROM THIS STORM. AND THAT'S BECAUSE WE STILL HAVE SOME CELLS THAT WERE MOVING THROUGH. AND SO THAT IS GOING TO EXPIRE SOON. HIGH SURF ADVISORY WILL TAKE US INTO OUR SATURDAY HERE FOR OUR COASTLINE. AND THEN AS WE GET INTO THE NEXT STORM, WE'RE GOING TO SEE, I'M SURE A LOT MORE WATCHES, WARNINGS, ADVISORIES GET ISSUED BECAUSE WE ARE EXPECTING SOME POTENTIAL FLOODING HERE FOR A LOT OF AREAS. THERE'S ALREADY A 20% 25% CHANCE OF THE VENTURA RIVER REACHING FLOOD STAGE BY MONDAY MORNING. AND SO IT DOES LOOK LIKE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS WILL BE FOR VENTURA COUNTY IN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY HEADING INTO SUNDAY. RIGHT NOW, IT IS 46 DEGREES IN SANTA MONICA. IT'S A CHILLY START, 42 UP INTO OJAI, 43 IN WOODLAND HILLS AND PASADENA, WE'RE LOOKING AT ABOUT 4543 UP INTO PALMDALE. LOT OF 40S OUT THERE THIS MORNING. SO THIS STORM IS MOVING ON OUT. WE HAVE THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT'S OFF THE COAST OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST THAT'S GOING TO DROP TO THE SOUTH, AND IT'S GOING TO TAP INTO AN ATMOSPHERIC RIVER MOISTURE ONCE AGAIN. AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT MIGHT SIT THERE AND DUMP A LOT OF RAIN FOR QUITE SOME TIME. SO AS EARLY AS LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON YOU START TO SEE SOME LIGHTER RAIN MOVING INTO AREAS. THIS WOULD BE VENTURA COUNTY, MAYBE L.A. COUNTY MIGHT BE GETTING A SPOTTY SHOWER LATE SATURDAY, AND IT LOOKS LIKE BY SUNDAY MORNING WE START TO SEE SOME HEAVY RAINFALL FOR AREAS OF NORTHERN KERN AREAS. SANTA BARBARA AND VENTURA COUNTY. AND THEN BY LATE AFTERNOON, MOVING INTO AREAS OF L.A. COUNTY. TIMING COULD STILL CHANGE. THE AREAS COULD STILL CHANGE. BUT RIGHT NOW, THIS ATMOSPHERIC RIVER IS POINTED RIGHT TOWARDS SANTA BARBARA IN VENTURA COUNTY TO BRING US THE MOST SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS THERE. AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR EARLY SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY AFTERNOON, SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ON INTO MONDAY. AND SO THE MOST SIGNIFICANT THREAT OF FLOODING WILL BE ON YOUR SUNDAY. MONDAY SHOWERS COULD LINGER ON INTO TUESDAY, AND THEN THERE'S ANOTHER STORM PAST THAT THAT WILL TAKE US INTO IT LOOKS LIKE THE REST OF THE WEEK, BUT THOSE SHOWERS WILL BE MUCH LIGHTER AND LESS THAN WHAT WE'RE EXPECTING WITH THIS FIRST ONE. SO FOR LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTY IN BETWEEN DAY BY TOMORROW AND THEN BETWEEN SUNDAY AND TUESDAY, WE COULD SEE UP TO ABOUT FIVE INCHES OF RAIN. AND THEN FOR THE VALLEYS AND INLAND EMPIRE UP TO SEVEN INCHES. BUT AS LITTLE AS THREE INCHES. SO IT REALLY JUST DEPENDS WHERE THIS TAKES AIM. AS WE HEAD INTO THE NEXT FEW DAYS. SO IT'S KIND OF A WAIT AND SEE EXACTLY WHERE IT GOES. AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR SUNDAY. SO WE'LL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS THE WEEKEND GOES ON. FOR THE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES, WE'RE EXPECTING HEAVY SNOW, SOME STRONG WINDS SATURDAY. YOU'RE GOOD TO GO, BUT IF YOU'RE HEADED UP THERE, THAT'S GOING TO BE A NICE SKI DAY. I'LL TRY AND HEAD DOWN BEFORE YOU GET CAUGHT IN THAT STORM, BECAUSE WE ARE EXPECTING HEAVY SNOW AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR MONDAY, YOUR TUESDAY AND YOUR WEDNESDAY AND HEAVY RAIN AS WELL. SO FLOODING VERY POSSIBLE. WE ARE SAYING FOR THE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES TO PREPARE NOW DUE TO THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING, IS PRETTY SIGNIFICANT AT THIS POINT. HIGH DESERT ALSO GOING TO SEE SOME R
