New salary threshold for Health and Care Worker visas from 4 April 2024

Welcome to our Channel UK visa and immigration updates today we will be sharing very important information regarding new salary threshold for health and care worker Visas so watch this video till the end for applications made on or after the 4th of April 2024 the minimum salary threshold for most health and care worker visa applicants is 23,200 up from 20, 960 or the national pay scale for the role whichever is higher workers applying for roles that are not on the national pay scale must meet the general annual salary threshold of £29,000 these new thresholds apply when applying for a First Health and Care worker visa or when extend ing permission in some cases you may still be able to apply for a Health and Care Visa even if your salary is lower than the required level the rules allow you to be paid between 70% to 90% of the going rate for your position provided you meet the relevant lower threshold and that you meet the specific requirements as detailed below for example option one you have a relevant PhD 26,100 minimum salary applies option two you have a science technology engineering or mathematics PhD relevant to the job you have been offered 23,200 minimum salary applies option three you have an offer for a job on the immigration salary list previously known as the shortage occupation list £ 23,200 minimum salary [Music] applies option four you are a new entrant I.E under 26 and are studying a recent graduate or in professional training 23 ,200 minimum salary applies I hope you enjoyed today's video please subscribe to our Channel and hit the Bell button to get timely notification of upcoming videos thanks for watching goodbye
