*NEW* Meet Petal, our Daisy Generation! 🌼 Sims In Bloom || The Sims 4

hey everyone welcome to my channel if you're new here my name is shella and that's right we are starting a brand new Legacy challenge today also super apologize I sound a little crusty the girl's getting over covid so I apologize that my voice is going to be sounding like this for a little while hopefully it doesn't take too long for me to recover but anyways I'm recording this little intro here so that I can explain to you all what the Sims and Bloom challenge is because that is the Legacy that we are going to start today now this series is going to be recorded on Twitch so it is live streamed and I'm going to be keeping it in a live stream format similar to my previous career Legacy challenge that is already completed I played the whole thing live on Twitch with my audience it was a lot of fun and I think that you all said you really enjoyed these long-form vods to body double with and do chores with maybe work alongside so we're doing another series like that I hope you all are excited to come on this journey with me it's going to be really exciting I played the first episode and will be playing the second episode without the new growing together pack but it will have the infants update before we go ahead and hop into the gameplay today and creating our founder for the Legacy I'm going to go ahead and go over the Sims and Bloom rules with you just so that we're all familiar with what we need to accomplish okay so I will put a link to the challenge in the description but if you Google Sims and Bloom this is the first link that comes up and it has the Legacy rules so hopefully it's easy to find for you all just in case you wanted to try it alongside me that'd be really cool this challenge was created by Tasha their origin idea is a Sims Garden all their information is over here on the left so we have some general rules for each generation complete the designated aspiration career and skills the asterisk Mark points are optional and you can choose to complete these to make the challenge more difficult I don't know about you but I love difficulty I don't know I feel like I just choose things that make me suffer more in gameplay so I guess we're going to be going that route there are two colors associated with every generation use these for genetics Berry vanilla or just clothes and house Decor if you wish start each new generation with a small house or apartment in 1 000 simoleons if you want to make the challenge harder you can start each generation on an empty lot with zero simoleons or extra storage a style which spoiler alert that's what we decided to do we can play on any lifespan we wish short is not recommended I play on normal lifespan for like all of my legacies unless stated otherwise and you can tag them this challenge requires these packs here and here's the first generation Daisy which is white and yellow now if you all know anything about me I despise the color yellow so why am I doing this challenge I don't know I guess we'll find out so this video is going to include the creation of our founder and I hope you all enjoy the cast bit to this because my twitch chat was like we really want to see you create your founder we want to be there for it so that will be included I'll explain more later you'll you'll see the footage and stuff like that it's really fun so I hope you enjoy it got my narrating voice is so good right now I feel like crusty it's like this is the worst diving I have so much I need to record anyways let's go ahead and read gardening has always been your passion owning a large healthy garden is all you ever wanted in life even if your nails constantly have soil under them and you have so many broken pots you've lost count your happy place is meditating in the shade of fruit trees that you grew yourself from Tiny saplings you sit and wonder what your family will grow to do and hope that they will flourish just as beautifully as your garden has this is the start of your family Legacy oh my God I'm so excited you guys so our aspiration is freelance botanist our traits are cheerful clumsy and loves outdoors and we need to get the gardening fishing and wellness skill we're going to be living on a lot with the simple living challenge which is really hard so I'm not looking forward to that but gotta do it need to grow a cow plant and keep it alive for as long as we live if it dies immediately plant a new one I love cow plants this is gonna be great grow five perfect plants we need to marry a Sim who also has the loves outdoor trait gain the outdoorsy lifestyle and grow a death flower so those are all the things we need to do again this asterisk means that these two are optional but I think we're gonna try to do them so hopefully this all makes sense and I'm only going to be reading the Generation 1 rules right now and then when we move to generation two obviously I'll go over those but I kind of like keeping it a little secret so I'm not like meta gaming and planning in advance anyways y'all are probably like shallow please just get to gameplay all right besties I'm gonna go ahead and throw you to past shella who played this on stream the other day also just a quick little warning I played this for like seven hours so I am splitting the first episode into two parts so that you all do not have to have a seven hour video to watch um is actually here on the website um it's Tasha uh AKA a Sims Garden so if you want literally if you just Google Sims and Bloom you'll find it um but I'm thinking like Cottage core vibe so that's kind of how we're gonna dress her uh Brenda thank you for the resub and also sauce Kota with the first time sub chat you know what that means so try your email to Natural previewing but most importantly enjoy your smile and taddy thank you for the seven months thank you can I be can I be real with you all can I can I be honest I already made her a romantic interest they haven't met yet but like I want babies immediately because the infant update just came out so I made it easy for us um I made it really easy for us because I want babies instantly okay so I hope no one is objecting to that because I want to see infants um who are they um so they live next door but also we don't have a house so basically it's just two people on empty lots next to each other so we're gonna have to build everything um also with the Sims and Bloom Legacy do I start with zero simoleons or do I get 20 000 simoleons like what's what's the Vibes that we have does anyone know because I'm okay with raxter riches but also if we're having a baby immediately that might be kind of hard no that's too much that's too much we can't do that uh it says either Rags to Riches or 1 000 wait does it actually oh no okay well I guess we're gonna be struggling real hard and you know what I'm here for it I'm here for it also if we marry them twenty thousand yeah true I could just move him in with us is she supposed to use white and yellow colors I don't actually know I this is my first time doing the challenge chat am I supposed to dress her in only white and yellow because I kind of like the idea of white and yellow being our vibes because this dress has white on it so isn't that okay I think that this is okay I think that this is allowed also I think I should follow my heart fire and I think that's really important people always because I've created Legacy challenges before and people are always like am I allowed to do this I'm like bestie follow your heart fire it's okay like it's for you you know what I mean I just feel like this looks like daisies and I also gave her a flower tattoo that looks like a daisy trying to avoid the yellow no no I would never purposely avoid the color yellow um is there any custom content on her yes she has uh lashes I use kajiko lashes so that's it um but I'm thinking like flip-flop kind of Vibes oh maybe this oh my God wait she's so pretty oh no I don't like that I want to go with uh these I think that this is really pretty um when's the update the update's available I'll give you all another um little tutorial on how I got my game to update first of all it might not let you log in that's okay you just gotta keep trying um once you get in make sure you have auto updates on you go to your settings downloads and enable auto updates then you click on the top left there's like three little lines you click on that and you go offline and then count to ten and then click go online and it should download [Music] egg thank you for the 31 months I love you too thank you um but yeah hopefully hopefully that lets you in because that worked for me okay I want to give her really cute nails because it said dirt under the nails so yeah is the update out yes it is uh just to confirm if the update's out if I make a new sim I'm not gonna keep them oh my God okay okay we're gonna have a baby so fast that's all that's all I don't want to look at it yet don't look at me okay I was thinking because our founder is the daisy generation I know that there's some really big flower earrings we could give her like these I think these are probably perfect look at that that's the vibe right Olivia's reaction she's like Mom stop screaming about babies I'm baby oh my gosh yeah the crew Legacy ended I uploaded that entire let's play on my YouTube though which by on her lips but that's it I already gave her blush and eyeliner by the way so I say natural but it's it's not actually natural but look I feel like it looks very natural you know what I mean um so yeah can we do overalls for every day since gardening yeah I think we can definitely give her a second everyday outfit um also I feel like I'll probably give her some of the new outfits in two days whenever the pack comes out so um we'll probably give her a little bit of a makeover also do we like her hair I I just picked this hair randomly but I feel like I'm kind of attached to it now um like I I really like it I think it's cute I think it's kind of a Vibe for her yeah we like it okay I figured she would tie her hair back if she's like working in the garden so we'll we'll keep it like that um let's do a second everyday outfit really quick I do like the idea of giving her overalls um oh my God oh my God which one do I do should I just go with like the generic stop she's too cute I can't I can't handle this she likes yours is downloading okay I'm glad that my little um my little hack worked for you because yeah trust me me and my friends we were like it's not working we were like getting really upset about it so you are not alone if your app is broken don't worry aren't we all a little broken um though but for real everyone's app is broken so um what's my hack okay so the secret is you have to just keep trying to log in until you get in and then once you get in you go to your settings go to downloads and enable auto updates and then you go to the left side of the screen top left corner it should say uh it should have three lines you click on it you go offline count to ten go online and it should start downloading the update for you hopefully that works if not I'm so sorry I don't know what to tell you that sucks um but that's that's what worked for me so hopefully hopefully it can help a lot of you okay oh my God should I oh she looks so beautiful like come on this is such a good dress for her she's Cottage core Vibes so also thank you for the follows everyone welcome in I feel like this is just her energy she's very very Cottage core I love this I uh am I in danger yes uh will I survive probably not but I do plan on starting that on Thursday so hopefully you all are uh excited for it because I know I am um so make sure you go subscribe over like a different hairstyle for formal oh even something like that is really cute it's just like a little more elegant she does have a five head but you know what same relatable five head so it's okay probably you all want yellow right you're getting mad at me because I'm not using the color yellow for this generation fine I'll use yellow oh actually I don't like that I'll make this her outfit how that sucks I'm sorry all right um let's go ahead and do her sleepwear do you think she would put her hair down for bed also why is it not letting me exit out of that you're making me want to play Sims again I do not have time for this sorry are you yeah I've never I've seen people do this challenge before but I've never done it personally so this is my first time um trying it out that looks like too long to be her hair I feel like maybe I have to go to medium length oh that's kind of I don't know I don't know if that's I don't know if I like that hair hmm I don't think we have too many options though I might just have to go with this what do you think you think maybe in braids oh do we have braids that would be short enough to work with this I don't know I kind of feel like this works with the length we had it at but I don't like this uh this mesh so I don't know what to do maybe I look for a different one really quick um oh God no that's not it that's not it this just reminds me of Cassandra goth too much why was EA so bad at making hair until like two years ago I know right like come on like all of their old hairs I'm like absolutely not I will not be using that these are all so terrible I feel like maybe that could be her hair I don't know it's a little long but do you think that sorry do you think that this could work it I guess it doesn't really matter too much I'm just being picky for realism but I think it kind of works because if you were that's like the length of my hair it's like a little bit it's a little bit longer than my hair and if I were to pull my hair back it would be like a nub compared to this so I feel like that kind of works yeah because when she puts it down it'll be a little longer okay so this will be our sleepwear um and you all really want me to use yellow that much hi I am yeah I hope that I sound better too um because I know yesterday I sounded so crusty because again I'm just getting over covid so like I'm a little congested so hopefully I don't sound like I've been chain smoking my entire life um if I do you know what that sucks but there's nothing I can do about it so um also I forgot to put blush on this outfit God this is the one thing I wish that uh you could do is uh if there was like a select all check box to where you could like apply the makeup to every single outfit I think that would be so good um in my opinion because otherwise I like forget little things here and there um thanks for the follows everyone welcome in ah yeah I wish we had that checkbox too wouldn't it be nice yeah didn't it the Sims 3 have it they really they truly how does it feel to be living my dream Sims 3 okay wow that is your party outfit girly Pop I don't know about that let's rethink that she really said accessories all of them oh my God did I get the update yeah I managed to update my game it took a couple of tries though for like 30 minutes I was trying to update my game let me tell you it was not going good we got here in the end I kind of want to do like that maybe um but if you want to know the trick I feel like I'm going to be repeating this a lot but I just want to help everyone so I apologize in advance to everyone who has to hear me say this um so after you've managed to log in which can take a couple times um make sure you enable auto updates in your settings and then in the top left there's a menu and you click on that and you go offline count to 10 and then come back online and hopefully it should work for you um that's how I managed to do it if it does not work for you I'm so sorry um but I I really do hope that that helps a little bit oh this could be our winter weather we could do like leggings oh my God that'd be so cute this could be our summer outfit I feel like she just wears a lot of dresses like that's her thing um okay question oh wait this looks really good on her this is like white and yellow I think that kind of works right your game disappeared yeah that that's gonna happen just ignore that it's really scary but just ignore that part of it wait she's so freaking cute yeah it told me I didn't own The Sims and I was like are you kidding me but I did it was just glitched okay I think that's cute I live uh I like that Jumper in the werewolves one for winter they're so cute right she kind of looks like like my Dr Jensen I even use the same hair rumor was the other mom yeah so this Sim is a genetic product of rumor and Garnet from my not so Berry series I don't know what it is about Garnet but that Sim is one of my favorite Sims I've ever played with I think she's like absolutely beautiful so I really wanted to to use her genetics like normally I'm gonna admit I usually like how my founder looks the best out of all of my Sims because I like custom make my founder but Garnet was a second gen Sim and I liked her aesthetically more than Clover my founder that I created which is crazy because like normally that doesn't happen so I was like in awe um not to say that he didn't like Clover I love clover but something about Garnet I was just like she is everything like I don't know how it happened oh wait why am I putting makeup on for the pool hold on we don't need that um it finally worked yay oh I'm so glad are those CC brows no they're not actually these brows I didn't know they existed I don't know when they added these into the game they're at the top of your brows though look at them they're there I was watching another streamer and the other streamer was like hey these are new brows I don't know when they added them and I was like what what so um they're there they added them with high school years okay well that makes sense because like why don't they have high school years on the Brows then are they not base game because it doesn't have a little pack thing buy it that's really weird if it's not base game okay um it was an sdx drop oh so they are I don't know if someone doesn't have high school years and you're able to check can you confirm or deny they are base game okay cool that's really cool because they're really good brows like I I really like them I've started using them a lot um I used to use the other custom content brows that they added into the game all the time but now I use these ones a lot too and I'm really happy because I like them a lot okay let's give her I feel like these are her earrings these are what make this Sim the the daisy generation she's so freaking cute oh my God what in the tourist is going on she's wearing sneakers that I would put her in but what is this hat um Chrissy thank you for the reason for 14 months thank you so much uh if anyone had issues and shallows hack didn't it work logging out and in after the following steps she suggests it worked for me let's go oh my God we cracked the code everyone I will say I'm not a fan of the EA app I wanted to believe in her I was like you know what I want to believe in you I don't want to be a hater I hate change but then the EA app did this to me today and honestly personal attack I felt very personal you know so I'm no longer gonna try to fight for the EA app she's dead to me I hate her she hurt me and my friends so you know what eh why did they origin worked fine why break it if it doesn't if it's not broken you know what I mean that's how I feel at least oh this is cute um I wanted to use another like hot weather looking dress I don't know if it's going to be tagged hot weather though yeah I stayed with it until it forced me to switch like I was like I'm not I am not swapping choose a name for this Sim is there like should I name her after the flower like should I name her Daisy or is that or is that dumb like should we just go for like a cute name because I will tell you I've had plenty of names Sims named Daisy party face my EA app won't let me log in and update my game oh no oh yeah a lot of people are having issues I'm sorry you are too name her Daisy but in a different language Daisy [Music] I think Daisy's fun like we just named them after the flowers oh my gosh thank you for the first time sub simply peachyb enjoy your boat's not previewing but most importantly enjoy your smile very good what if we like do a play on it like is that weird like Daisy huh I don't know are there different kinds of daisies I don't know I don't know much about plants Daisy with two e's um pedal all petal is so cute are you kidding me what an iconic founder name too pedal I actually kind of really like that I don't know if I've ever heard of a Sim named petal before like like a petal I really like that what if we just try to make the names like flower themed but maybe not exactly what the flower is I'm already like pedal oh my God no petal petal where are her overalls from uh this is from the University discover University pack okay petal bloom so I guess I have to make her like yellow and white and then I'm also gonna make her like gardening and fishing what else does she have to do um gardening fishing and wellness okay I'm gonna make her like wellness too and I think that's it we'll see what else she likes when we get into the game okay are Sims so I tried my best I think he's kind of cute um also I don't here's the thing I kind of want us to live in the New World so I think we'll live here until the new world comes out and then we can move over there whenever I get the pack how does that sound like we'll just live on this tiny tiny lot for now um wait why can't am I not home oh my God go home she's like standing next to her house and it's like you can't you're not home what do you mean I'm not home I'm literally right here okay we're in Spring I have to start with a thousand simoleons money or should I start should I start with zero I would call myself a Rags to Riches expert so I guess I could just start with zero yeah okay all right zero simoleons uh I am gonna make this a tiny home and I'm gonna do the tiny home hack shift uh wait yeah shift click and then you can teleport sometimes I don't even know what the hotkeys are I just have them like memorized in my hand if that makes sense horn oh what did I get girl don't we need a cow plant I think we need this oh my God we're gaming this is my first child a cow plant she looks so good I gotta get we gotta get some thumbnail pictures of her today so if you ever see a good pose I gotta take a picture of it that's just how this works oh wait that's really pretty she looks really good there she's so pleased with herself yeah honestly she deserves it um I'm gonna go look and see if I can get a frog over here and then maybe start digging up some stuff as well the Frog economy is back everyone oh careful don't fall over pedal oh my God okay um if there's one thing you should know about me it's that I have built Empires on the backs of frogs that may sound terrible but no frogs were harmed in that process um don't you also need the simple living lot
