alright guys I just got something in the mail that I was really anticipating getting a hold of them and excited about it for a while and originally one of my viewers had pointed this out to me before I had even never heard of it at the time and when he told me about it you couldn't buy and yet they weren't out there yet they were released to the public but it's the Magpul 12 gl9 so basically what it is is it's a 12-round magazine for the Glock 26 and it doesn't add too much length to the magazine this is the standard magazine for the G 26 with the mind has a GAAP GAAP Enterprises floor plate on there on there and this will give you ten plus one so for me the idea of having a small subcompact ultra-reliable block on the same platform that I already trained with but now I'm able to hold 12 plus one rounds with virtually adding no length to the gun at all was a no-brainer I was very very excited to see that somebody finally did something just to give you that boost the whole 13 rounds in this little compact package so I'm going to go ahead and unbox it here I'm packing it I guess we'll say and take a look at this together right this is my first time guys not only my first time seeing the 12-round gl9 but any of the Magpul Glock magazines I know that my Magpul AR magazines always have functioned perfectly and they are my magazines of choice from ar-15 so I would expect that these are the same way so here it is and it doesn't it doesn't seem to be too much longer than the standard magazine it is light it feels very light to me I like the orange follower let's go ahead and take this magazine out and we'll kind of compare and see what we're going to be working with here so as far as of wait I can definitely tell guys I'm sorry I don't have a scale but I can definitely tell that this one is lighter but one of the reasons I know somebody's going to point it out that this one is lighter is because it's not metal lined like the Glock but it does have thicker walls in here the original block magazines were also not metal lined for the original g17 so I don't really think that's a compromise so as far as length goes if we put the feed lips nose to nose there's what you're working with to get two extra rounds not too shabby let me line this up again that's all the extra that you're working with right there to get that whole two extra rounds in there that's pretty amazing to me guys that's not adding much at all let's go ahead and put it the gun first seems to spring out pretty nice test it against the original meg now the original mag is going to fall better out of the gun I believe for the fact that there's more weight but this is no slouch but anytime you have more weight of course something gravity is going to take effect and do its part now I don't I don't use a lot of pressure or any pressure at all when I shoot with my little finger so for me I'm not trying to use this in the grip extension even though most people could for me it's kind of half it's a half grip extension I don't need it though you know when I shoot but I'm going to tell you guys what this sure is not adding a whole lot of length to a g26 in my opinion to get two extra rounds I think that's pretty amazing I think it's I think the gun still maintains its balance and it's look with this magazine in it you know I'm like having like grip extenders and longer magazines and guys having 13 12 plus one is no slouch no slouch at all so what I wanted to do also let me go ahead and load this mag up and we're going to see how easy the last round or the last couple rounds is to get in here of that 12 okay on a brand new mag because I was kind of curious you know did they try to cut so much room in here that it's going to be tight to get that last round in I've heard on the larger Magpul Glock mags that getting that last round in there was a bear so let's just see what we got it is getting kind of stiff already I'll tell you that now here's your witness hole what you see orange you need another round that's the follower and when you see brass or silver that means your mag is complete so this would be the 12 a little bit pressure there but nothing extreme and there you can see see the shiny silver or in most cases you'd see brass either way that means that it's loaded to capacity and then here's your plus one another thing that's important to check when you stuff a mag full full of ammo is to see will the done seat with a closed magazine or with a closed slide the loading bar is underneath the slide and it's what's going to contact around when it's inserted and it is tight but like anything else give these magazines time to wear in a little bit let's give it a little tap little tap she's good to go let me go ahead and do a slow push there you got to click it does have the they call it to matrix on the bottom the dot matrix so you can mark these magazines if you'd like to and they're very easy to take apart just by pushing that in and sliding the base clean off I have to give it to Magpul on these as far as to remove the floor plates they made it so so easy but there it is guys I really like it and that's what I'm planning on keeping with the Glock 26 I want to do some range testing and as long as everything works out I'd like to get some more of those as well but I think you can't beat that 13 rounds and a baby Glock and not compromising the size and the balance of the original of the way that the gun was originally meant to be okay so you're not you're not adding some big extension and finger you know finger grip on a longer mag you know this this does that justice just a little bit but in my opinion it still maintains the subcompact look and feel alright guys hope you found this video informative until next time this is H for T and I out of there
