and definitely all here in person we're going to praise God today amen another day to celebrate and praise God for because it is Mother's Day amen hallelujah Hallelujah God is so good we thank God for all he have done for how he has blessed us another day and bringing us forth amen hallelujah I just want to read a scripture a little bit from out of proverbs 31 where looks at a virtuous woman and jumping into it at verse 20 it says she's opened up her arms to the poor she reaches out her hands to the needy when she snows and she has no fear for her household for they all are clothed in Scarlet she make coverings for her bed her clothes and his fine linen and purple her husband is known at the city Gates where he sits amongst the Elders of the land she make linen garments and sells them she delivers ass sasses and Merchants strengthen honor out her clothes and she is not Lo she has not laugh in the days to come she opens her mouth with wisdom and faithful instructions on her is in her tongue She watches over the Affairs of her household she does not eat the bread and Idols her children is raised up and call her blessed her husband praised her as well many daughters have done Noble things but surpass them all car excuse me charm is De sayful in the beauty of fleeing but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised give her the fruits of her hands and let the works praise her at the gates amen hallelujah we are going to be thankful for moms and we can recognize that scripture amen we see it in our moms our grandmothers our stepmoms our foster parents the woman who have raised us and reared us up and was faithful women of God Amen Hallelujah so we're going to praise God today for the fact of moms that God put mothers in our lives amen without them where will we be amen let us pray dear gracious Father in heaven we want to say thank you Lord Jesus we thank you for this day we thank you for being a mighty God we thank you for being a gracious God that sit high and look low a god that is mindful of us Lord Jesus father Lord we also want to thank you for the mothers today Lord Jesus we thank you for blessing them with the strength and the faithfulness that they have Lord that they raise our children Lord Jesus that take care of the homes Lord Jesus not only that but sell good and bring it back home Lord to help increase the home for being help meets Lord Jesus for strengthening Lord being support Lord Jesus we thank you for building them up Lord Jesus for they are a pillar Lord Jesus we say thank you for what you are doing Lord Jesus and father Lord we ask you to continue to bless us as we move forth today in this service Lord Jesus Lord we ask you to touch this ministry Lord Jesus and touch past as the word go forth Lord Jesus prepare our hearts Lord get to people he say as a matter of fact let everything that has breath in other words that everything has got a PO all right let me try it this way take take your two fingers and check your post if you on your way to church and somebody made you real mad or somebody posted something that made you real mad sometimes you got to fight your way and fight yourself to get a praise out because God has to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son called his name Samuel saying because I have asked for him from the Lord now the man Elena and all his house went up to offer to the Lord the yearly sacrifice and his vow but Hannah did not go up for she said to her husband not until the child is winged then I will take him that he may appear before the Lord and remain there forever so El her husband said to her do what seems best for you wait until you have weaned him only let the Lord establish his word then the woman stayed and nursed her son until she had weaned him now when she had weaned him she took him up with her with three Bulls one epile flour and a skin of wine and brought him to the house of the Lord in Shiloh and the child was young then they slaughtered a bull and brought the child to Eli and she said oh my Lord as your soul lives my Lord I am the woman who who stood by you here praying to the Lord for this child I prayed and the Lord has granted me my petition which I have asked of him therefore I also have lent him to the Lord as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord so they Worship the Lord there family you may be seated in the presence of the Lord now you have to know a little bit about this in order to appreciate what we just read and really when you have time in your spare time you should read 1 Samuel chapter number one because it sets up the entire New Testament but here's a lady by the name of Hannah who wound was baren she couldn't have any children and the Bible tell us as they went up to worship they didn't have they didn't have they didn't go to church like we go to church every Sunday well some people come once a year but they went once a year to church and when they went up um her husband's other wife yeah her name is panina in fact her name means the other wife she would taunt and tease Hannah because Hannah couldn't have any children and Hannah had got so frustrated to the point to where she prayed to God about she was so angry she was so bitter because she was being teased that she went to God about it because of that particular sequence buer I want to tag the text today I'm at my breaking point I'm at my breaking point it has been said that pressure bust pipes or makes damages a family when faced with pressure some people panic others become Paralyzed by fear and they freeze but then some people pray and honestly I really don't know who needs to hear this today but a pressure build up is likely to result in some kind of Outlet if you get on my nerve long enough eventually there's going to be an outlet if my mom's not here today but but but if I would have gotten on her nerve long enough eventually she would pinch my thighs eventually there was going to be an outlet and family sometimes this Outlet results in irreparable damage through explosion this is when one can't unwind or release tension they do things that are not characteristic for them under normal circumstances but on the other side of this Diamonds Are Made under substantial amount of pressure so much so that if a diamond is dropped it will not shatter into pieces see the pressure used in making a diamond bonds the substances inside of the diamond making get virtually an unbreakable Bond uh in family a diamond can be chipped but it won't break a diamond can be scratched but it won't break and so my question for us as I dig into the text today what do you do when it is that you've reached your Breaking Point what do you do when you've reach your breaking point you've literally had it up to here you are literally over it you are at your breaking point and be honest with yourself what do you do when you get to your Breaking Point well family when we look at the text today you will learned that three years three times a year rather the Israel men were required de Smith to be at the sanctuary to offer sacrifices and reserv of the main religious Festival Scholars will tell us that this is probably the Feast of the Tabernacles during the festival times God's people Rejoice of His blessings especially a Bountiful Harvest in other words in their culture their religious their culture was religious and so they had festivals and they would celebrate during these times of year it's pretty much how we going to do on juneth and how we going to do on Fourth of July you get together and you celebrate a particular today when you feel like something patriotic has been done for the country in this sense God did something major for them when they're in the wilderness and he told them to never forget it and so this is the Feast of the Tabernacles and they were to come together during this time and offer sacrifices when they went to church and what one of the things that we discovered is that they went to church as a family they went to church as a family and they and and and and as they went to church they they they offered sacrificial offerings um and and and the Bible says Elena would hand out these offerings yet to Hannah who couldn't have any children the Bible says he gave her a double portion in other words he gave her a little more than he gave panina and apparently this this was the norm This Is How They went to church this is what they did when they went up to worship but how many of you know that sometimes before you know it a normal experience can become a negative experience all right let me try it this way y'all used to go shopping together that was the normal until it became a negative experience y y'all used to go to the movies together because panina began to Envy Hannah I thought about this this is crazy because panina can produce something that Hannah can't all right let me try it this way let me see if I can remix it for you because some you looking at me like your lost here it is let me help you panina can have kids Hannah can't Hannah wants to have kids panina knows that but she gets a double portion to go and offer sacrifices panina has a problem with that and so because she know what she can't perform at she bullies her she targets her she teases her because she know she can do something that she can't do while at the same time it really ain't about that she can do something she can't do is that she can do something that she can't do but she got more favor I want to say this to somebody because some of you might be dealing with some haters in your life you might be dealing with some haters watch this in your family and you think that the hater want what you have not necessarily the hater don't really want what you have they just don't want you to have what you have I don't know who I'm talking to today but really you fighting your enemy the wrong way because you think your enemy wants your house you think the enemy wants your car you think the enemy wants your husband don't nobody wants your husband your enemy just don't wants you to have a husband because the enemy wants you to be disappointed and depressed and distressed just like they are because sometimes you got to know how to deal with your enemy and understand that they don't always want what you want that is want you to have what you got so here's panina she can have kids Hannah can't but yet she's hating on Hannah now I don't know what she was saying to her um but it's crazy uh um how some people can have more than you and still be mad because of you haters don't want your friends they don't want your family they don't want your finances that is want your favor uh now now is a time where we see that this takes place where panina begins to Target Hannah because she had been given a double portion and scripture tells us that she badgered Hannah to the point to where Hannah was in tears and she was frustrated because she was elen's favorite but she could not give him a child can you imagine the amount of frustration that Hannah's experiencing maybe there's someone here in this room that's that that appears to have it all yet you're missing that one thing uh that one thing that will bring you fulfillment that one thing that will give you purpose that one thing that you need from God to be a blessing to God you just don't have it can you imagine how Hannah feels she has a void she has not been able to feel she feels empty maybe even insecure to a certain degree because she cannot produce like The Other Woman Scholars would suggest that Hannah was the first wife but because she could give him kids the culture not God the culture permitted polygamy so he goes and he gets another woman and calls her his wife because she can give him children can you imagine the insecurity that Hannah has to fight through like really the only reason why you here maybe I shouldn't say that no I'm not g to say it the only reason why you here is because you can do something that I can't but if you couldn't do that he don't even love you like that can you imagine the kind of drama that's going on in El's life dealing with these two ladies fellas just look at me just look at me don't you look around just look at me but really it is a real problem when you're trying to do two things at once I'm trying to get it right with one I'm and then they beeping wait a minute family listen you have to understand this the Bible says she was Barren because what I'm trying to do is I'm trying to pull you into her frustration I know you heard this story before but this is revelation listen pull in lean in Watch What Happens the Bible says she was Barren Barren means her W couldn't produce the Bible never said that she didn't try can I tell talk to some can I be real with somebody in here just because she couldn't conceive doesn't mean they wasn't working on it it doesn't mean they've never tried but the fact of the matter is the revelation of what we don't have or can't do is not the result that we're not trying it the frustration comes that we're trying to do this we're trying to make it work here we're trying to make it work there and the results are not adding up we are not producing in the way that we want to producing can you imagine the frustration that Hannah is dealing with and I'm talking to somebody in this room who's been trying and trying you've been laboring and laboring and you're not seeing the fruit of your labor it's not like you're unintentional about what God asked you for but you are working on it and it seems like you're not getting the results that you want Hannah is baren but it doesn't mean she's inactive in fact somebody here You' been been straightforward about what you want from God you've been very clear on what you want for God but here it is you're finding out that perspective isn't always possession you can see yourself promoted but where's the promotion you can see yourself married but where is he at you can see yourself with a child but where is the child because perspective isn't always possession and a lot of times we can get frustrated because while we can see it while we can feel it I know I'll be a good mother I know I'll be a good business owner I know I'll be a good school teacher why you feel that you'll be good at certain some some kind of way it doesn't always mean that you will have it when you want it can you imagine the frustration that Hannah is dealing with barness during this time it was ugly y'all it was the ultimate tragedy for a wife because typically her husband's hope depending on her being able to provide him a son to carry on the lineage we need a son and she can't produce and so here comes panina running her mouth you ever met somebody to just run just run their mouth like nobody even ask you to say nothing to me we on our way to church and you talking about I can't give him kid we supposed to be focused on God you worried about my womb in fact keep my w out of your mouth why you focus on what I can't do you running your mouth often times in the body of Christ got a lot of people that just run there so so she provokes her and she makes her miserable man she makes her miserable you know misery loves company though right he she's envious of ela and Hannah's relationship so she begins to taunt her um and and really I discovered this is crazy because they're on their way the church they're on okay they they on the way to church P okay brother Paul they're on their way up to worship they're on their way to worship they on their way to sacrifice Feast of the Tabernacles they only way to worship God and here comes the drama isn't it absolutely crazy that the one place you can find drama is inside of the church isn't it absolutely senseless that you can be on your way to church and you get beef with the person inside your car isn't it absolutely amazing how they're on their way to worship and see is a distraction and I came to tell somebody today that you got to watch out who you walk into in worship you got to watch out who you bump into in worship because there may be some people that's moving with the wrong Spirit on that particular Sunday and they're trying to interrupt your worship but you got to let them know listen I've got too much going on for you to interrupt My Worship in fact I don't know what you come to do but I come to clap my hands I've come to St my feet I come to lift my voice I've come to praise the Lord I didn't come from all of the drama I didn't come from all of the talking I didn't come from all of the disruptions and the distractions because I'm trying to get something from God I really need God to work on my womb I don't have time to listen to what you're talking about I'm not talking to anybody in this place you got to watch out for people like that who only want to come watch this and interrupt your PR like she always want to open up her mouth when I'm trying to worship god listen family we got a problem here though trying to because it get deeper see the problem in worship but they live together I got to ride with you I got to go to church with you and I got to live with you she couldn't log off she couldn't block her she she she was constantly exposed I'm setting this up family because you will appre appreciate and understand the way that Hannah's worshiping because of the kind of stress that she's under because she's living with an unavoidable problem can't get away from her can't get away from her um what do you do when you not only got to live with a problem with not being able to produce but you also got to live with your problem I got to live with two problem watch this and I can't outrun either one of them are y'all hearing what I'm saying what do you do when you can't outrun either one of your problems I'm going to always be bearing until God do something and now she's the other woman that did I can't say that either this person in went and married what what am I going to do how do you survive when you constantly staring at your problems what does Hannah do y'all I would say by right Hannah meets the qualification to go ahead and start busting out some windows I I I I think she meets the qualifications to go ahead and start slashing some tires set some clothes on fire didn't have no cars back then so set some robes on fire go ahead out and burn the grass burn some goats or something because because now you not about to do this Ela you better do something because it's only a matter of time before I put my hands on her you ever had that moment where you just couldn't outrun your issue and so you know that nobody else can help you except for God I don't know who I'm talking to today but Hannah is literally at her breaking point because she's taken all that she can take she's going to worship can't get any help there she goes back home can't get any help there and so now she goes and the Bible says she gets up from the table when they were eating and she goes to talk to God family sometimes times you just got to go have a little talk with Jesus you can't worry about talking to nobody else you can't talk to your wife you can't talk to your mom you can't talk to your kid you got to go talk to God about some things because there are some things that nobody will understand but God nobody will understand how it makes you feel but God nobody will understand the level of stress that you've been under except God so you just got to go and talk to him watch Watch What Happens she became so angry uh and watch look verse eight pull up verse eight look what happens in verse eight fellas some I gotta go but sometimes fellas we got to know when to be quiet y'all y'all G to pull up verse eight verse eight says she's visibly frustrated now Glenn she got an attitude rightfully so she been under a lot of stress she gets up from the table I'm not doing this I'm not doing this no more right look what her husband said like sometimes we got to be quiet husband says what's wrong with you what you crying for why why ain't you eating no more you done already and fellas we know when the Woman's Fed Up I don't even know if it's appropriate for you to finish singing that song I don't know where you stand with that but you heard it and so When a Woman's Fed Up it's difficult to deal with it says what why you crying how come you not eating he says why is your heart grieve look what look what he said he said am I not better to you than 10 Sons fellas sometimes we just got to be quiet cuz brother is not making any sense like I don't you adding fuel to the fire you didn't already invited this other woman into our house now now you going to talk about am I but no because you're not my child look what Hannah says Hannah's like no no absolutely not you you I ain't this ain't about you see this ain't even a Come on talk back to me like I'm Netflix come on talk about like this this ain't even about you this ain't even that this is about me this is something that I want God to do through me and if God will do it through me then I will make sure I dedicate this blessing back to him and let me tell you family today you got to learn how to take your bitterness to the Lord in other words you got to be like here God you do something about this because I'm about to lose my mind I'm at my Breaking Point God you better move on my behalf right now I know that don't sound good you shouldn't be talking to God like that but you can go to God In Prayer like that you can go to him boldly in aain Mercy listen God I need you to do something now because I don't know how much more of this I can take look look look listen when you become bitter some people become bitter and lose their mind and business begins to be their disposition they look bitter they talk bitter they they you touch them they even feel bitter they think bitter uh and it limits you to becoming better when you're always bitter so she takes her bitterness to the Lord verse number 101 says she went to pray and when she went to pray um she was praying so intensely she was praying so hard that her mouth was moving but no sound was coming out she prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish h family can I tell you that a Praying mama is a woman you don't want to play with a Praying mama is a woman you don't you don't want to play with and a and a Praying Woman can also be a misunderstood woman because the culture wants you to handle it one way see the culture expects you to do do it this way they expect you to have a confessional on The Housewives and start exchanging shade and start throwing venom for Venom with panina but Hannah's like I don't have time for VH1 I don't have time to deal with no reality TV show she says I'm going to God on this because God hears my heart I'm so angry only God is going to handle it and the Bible says he prays with so much fervor and we taught Wednesday that fervor is zo in the Greek and it means boiling over which means she prays with so much enthusiasm she prays with so much fervor that God moves on her behalf and I know this is amazing because do you know how hard it is for people to conceive like people try and conceive and can't because it's a gift from God and then people don't try to conceive and they because only God controls conception so I'm done she uh she prays uh in her heart but Eli the priest sometimes church people can be judgmental some sometimes the Holy Ghost people can be judgmental Eli is the priest she's praying watch this Deacon white this blew me away because I'm done after this I really am I know you don't believe me but I really am she's praying right no words are coming out Eli is the priest right they were to go to God on behalf of the people right she really shows us Miss Katherine the dispensation that we live in now she's praying and what she need from God she doesn't have to go through a priest are y'all going to help me close this thing out she's going to God about something in her heart but she don't need the mediation of Eli because Eli don't understand what she's dealing with in fact he calls her a drunk woman why you drinking so much you sitting over here moving your mouth and ain't no words coming out because during this time the culture was when you prayed words came out it was an audible movement but she prayed and she did not open up her mouth and sometimes it be the church folks who misunderstand your prayers that's why I've learned not to judge the way that people praise because you don't know what's going on on the inside of somebody else if you got to run then you better run if you got to jump sometimes you got to jump if you got to climb over a peel don't hurt yourself but climb over that peel because you got something that you're trying to get from God and you don't have time to care about what your neighbor think about you what the person behind you think about you in fact you ought to encourage your neor say neighbor if you got a problem with the way that I pray is you better go sit on the other side of the sanctuary because I'm liable and I'm viable in the next 30 second to lose my mind because I'm praying for God to do something in my life and I'm believing him and I'm taught that I'm going to praise God like he's already done it is there anybody in this room today that can give God praise in advance for the things that you're praying for I don't know what you're praying for maybe it's a job maybe it's a promotion maybe it's covering your kids whatever it is but you got to learn how to praise God in advance like he's already done it watch this watch this Eli thought she was drunk um and it's crazy how people will jump to criticize what they don't understand this is what I've learned people are quick to criticize what they do not understand uh uh instead of asking questions about it they will talk about it in a negative way instead of getting Clarity they will begin to be critical that's why it helps to just ask a question instead of jumping to the conclusion because the reality is family everybody not going to get you the reality is everybody won't understand you and when you've got something that you need from God oh you got to know listen you can't be ashamed of them so you got to know that even if it's in a public place I'll bow down to the Lord if it's in a middle of the grocery store I start listen if I've been in places where I didn't got a text message on my phone and I just started thanking God in a public place people may have thought I was crazy may have thought I was say losing my mind but guess what God just confirmed Le some things that I've been praying about and it really ain't none of your business anyway so don't jge me for the way that I pray but when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he's done for me am I talking to anybody in this room today you ever got that email you ever got that text message you ever got that notification that God was moving on your behalf and you just begin to praise God in advance am I talking to anybody in this place you testify to your neighbor and say neighbor I was at my breaking point but God gave me the Breakthrough I'm done this as I work my way to my seat here it is here's the theme I know you got to get the brunch here it is listen the breaking point is twofold Hannah reached the breaking point because she became bitter because of what panina was doing but then she also reached a breaking point because of her worship to God that he was going to give her a breakthrough opening up her womb and being able to have a child and so when she said when he gave it a child she said I'm devoting this child back to you Lord and he's going to work in the temple he's going to serve in the church and I got to tell you this as I make my way to my seat what you understand is that real worship happens in the yet you can't always wait to praise God when you get the receipts sometimes you got to praise him in the yet sometimes you got to worship him before it happened sometimes you got to learn how to give it to him in advance because the Bible says after she finished praying that her attitude changed that she was no longer upset that she was no longer angry that she was no longer frustrated and she went on head and she went to worship like she had done many times before but this time it was a little bit different this time she had Joy on the inside because she had gave it all to God is there anybody here who's ever had to work through some things and after you finished talking to the Lord about it you felt a little better about it the song says Glory Glory Hallelujah since I laid my burdens down is there anybody here who ever had to go to God with some issues of your heart is there anybody here ever had to go to God with some stuff on your mind I came to tell you that you a living testimony that God will God will bless you bless you in your broken place is there anybody here have you ever been broken before have you ever been at your breaking point and didn't God step in would you help me close today Dy step in is there anybody here that can give God a praise and thank God for all the times that he's bought you out bought you out of your struggle bought you out of your situation bought you out of your Darkness bought you out of your depression and then he show up and then he give you the Breakthrough and didn't he allow you to see the fruit of your nebor because I came to tell you that even when you've been broken God will still bless you because sometimes what God is putting inside you is going to be bigger than you would you encourage your neighbor and say neighbor the blessing is bigger than you I said the blessing is bigger than you how do I know because when Hannah had the child she named him Samuel and Samuel was the prophet was the man of God who anointed David who was the king of Israel and from David's sority comes Jesus Christ Hanah really didn't know what she was carrying but what she was carrying was bigger than her and I came to tell somebody what you're praying to God about is bigger than you it's going to be a blessing to the world it's going to be a blessing to your family it's going to be a blessing to your children it's going to be a blessing to your church it's going to be a blessing to your neighborhood would you high find your neighbor for the last time and say neighbor it's bigger than you I'm at my breaking point but this is bigger than you because you got to understand that when Samuel came and anointed David through 42 Generations later comes Jesus Christ born of a Virgin Mary wrapping swaddling go in a manger and the Bible says that Jesus was obedient to death because on one Friday evening they hung him on a old rucked cross where they pierced him in his hands they pierced him in his feet they nailed him in his side and the blood it came streaming down and he dropped his head between the locks of his shoulders between the 6th and the 9th hour and he died [Applause] [Music] sometimes sometimes you can have perspective and not have [Music] possession and it's in the perspective place where we deal with impatience but Hannah shows us how to handle impatience never did she lash out at panina see family you've got to know how destined you are to be going back and forth with people who have no idea how destined you are you you you got to know the kind of favor that you've got to be arguing with a fool who don't understand your favor you got to watch where you give your energy you can't give your energy to people who don't understand who you are so she never even the Bible doesn't tell us that she argues with it she don't even say nothing her when she should have but she goes to God take your problems to the Lord I don't know who needed to hear this word today but I don't want you to be blinded by the familiarity of the word [Music] cuz I want you to know that what you're carrying is bigger than [Music] you the next business idea that you got is bigger than you the children that you raising is bigger than you that's why you got to raise them the right way you got to raise them to respect their Elders you got to raise them with boundaries you know how far to go because it's bigger than you they're going to have a place in this world in 20 years they're going to be leading some company they're going to be leading some Community some country it's bigger than you and me Hannah couldn't possibly have known that but let me tell you something and I'm done seriously I'm done you got to be careful what you pray for you got to be careful what you ask for because who much is given much is required notice what we read she didn't go to church until she weaned him and when she weaned him she left him at the church at the temple rather because she says his purpose is to serve the Lord she said the Bible says she lent him to the Lord she gave him back to the Lord so family you gotta you gotta you got to know that the weight of the Breakthrough and the blessing could be the reason why the intensity of the storm is so challenging you're going through it and it's hot as hell and you don't know if you're going to be able to make it because you're at your Breaking Point a family on the other side of your breaking point is something that's much bigger than you I'm ex sending an invitation if you're in this room and you don't know Jesus for the remission of your sins the Bible says and teaches us that he died for our sins and when he died for our sins he is no longer dead three days later he got up from the grave he walked out of the Tomb the tomb is [Music] empty and when he got up he got up with all power that's power to save you no matter what your background is that's power to give you salvation where you don't even have to pay for it it's a free everye gift you can't earn it you just got to receive it and accept it so if you're here you want to give your heart to him you want to allow him to come into your life God's Plan of Salvation is right on the screen he loves you he doesn't love sin so we sent Jesus all we have to do is repent turn from our Wicked Ways and follow Christ doesn't mean you have to be a perfect person that's not what this is it means you are understanding you are a purchased person by his blood and you've got new life because of his sacrifice so if you're here and you want to give your hearts to him if you're here and you have Christ you are a Believer but you don't have a place where you consider you belong to as a church just simply stand our ministers and deacons are in the aisle you can stand where you are if you're online put it in the chat
