NEW Japanese FAST FOOD Burgers

some burgers japan only burgers from uh most burger lotteria and mcdonald's in japan because they have some pretty interesting stuff yeah but anyway thank you so much guys for being here and thank you in is the one from most burger we have to get it before you know they they uh stop it because it's not a permanent uh menu item but it's their mac and cheeseburger mac and cheeseburger yeah they say mac and cheese eighty percent of japanese people don't know this flavor right well that they're talking about the mac and cheese really but it's it's so it's a burger with it's actually a coke burger croquette burger the croquette is um what kind of croquette was it do you know it's not a regular cookie no no it's a something croquette with a mac and cheese and they also include the most burger sauce which is like a meat sauce so they have that on the burger as well already yes yes so you know that sounds kind of kind of interesting and um the burger that they have from mcdonald's is the chicken burger which actually is pretty good um i've had it once we've actually had it once before and i really like that burger types of chicken kind of like a karaki but not really one yes one is lemony uh they're using uh lemon and the other one is without the lemon and then the one from lothiria one is a spicy chicken burger and the other one is a bee chili burger or something like a shrimp burger but anyway i hope that sounds good to you because that's what we're trying out today so uh satoshi you may start with any one you like okay i wish that's from mcdonald's yes it's different looks exactly the same not really well one is the one with without the the lemon lemon yeah one is with the lemon the lemon one has like a tartar sauce yeah the regular one i think yeah hello nice on the mcdonald's website okay so shall we itadakimasu i really like this this is the the regular one right not the lemon one hmm i like it yummy chicken umami it's really good i really like this you know island barbecue it might be it's it is similar to the cabrillo sponge a little bit a little bit but the sauce is delicious the chicken is marinated in some kind of like gingery sorry sauce which is what skin tattoo is yeah that's what i think differentiates chicken tata from chicken karage i think i think hmm yes simply jean there is a slight sweetness if you like chicken sandwiches i think you might like this one it's not very crispy like there's not too much batter on the outside so it's not oily at all but i like it this is one of my favorite sandwiches from mcdonald's that they've come up with the new items um yeah so would you like to try lemon one yes i would i would so this one is a lemony chicken my green tea is yes right now this one is really yummy guys i prefer the lemon is awesome it's very good very good as sad as that it's refreshing very refreshing refreshing but rich at the same time but not super sour it's just right for this chicken you sometimes we sprinkle sauce it's a chili sauce i think so chili sauce i don't know i'll check is it a yeah we have a dish here in the chinese restaurants called so it's like uh uh deep fried shrimp um in um sorry it's shrimp in like a chili sweet sauce so that's what they're trying to replicate in the burger form yeah so so that's it so can you see shrimp yeah yes it's like sweet chili this is a shrimp here is a shrimp how many of you guys have had shrimp burgers from um like one of the fast food places here in japan and if so did you like it you can actually visibly see the pieces of shrimp in this one wow um wait this is better than expected that maybe so it's really good so once again this is from lotteria which is another fast food chain here and recently i have discovered that they make really good um burgers they really do and um this one is really nice it's actually the crispiness of the the shrimp patty is still there right you can kind of you know feel the crispiness and there's a lot of pieces of shrimp they're plump and juicy and there's tartar sauce and there's also the chili sauce got two sauces in here the sauce combination is really good i thought episode is awesome as is spicy but the tattered sauce make it mild up totally mild and the combination with shrimp it's really good yeah it's too bad this is a limited item so that means if we want to eat it again we have to buy it soon but maybe if it is good or pop it up it will be a regular menu maybe but then like the local mocha burger from mcdonald's i actually like and it only happens once a year because it is a hawaii interesting you know what is interesting duncan says um um duncan has had a unaki booger unagi booker how was that is that like a burger with just the unagi or a burger with a hamburger patty and unagi on top um that that is the question if it is rice bag up it must be good yes but maybe just unagi though i can't imagine having beef with unagi no no i can't imagine i cannot imagine yeah so example the potato salad sandwich or the egg sandal has large chunks inside yeah the potato salad always has some chunks of potatoes so it's not completely creamy and i believe the egg salad is the they taste like where's where's your favorite cheeseburger from guys cheeseburger mine at the moment is from shake shack i love the cheeseburger from shake shack this one looks good too so it's also from lotia [Music] first i love the crispiness of the chicken i can tell it's going to say something wait before you say anything negative first of all it's spicy for me and i think it actually tastes good the spices they use and this is a little bit unique like for me it's way better than the the crispy chicken sandwich at mcdonald's for example it has good flavor okay your turn let us leave yeah let us leave okay it's crispy and onion has an accent and sauce and spicy but not enough for me the spiciness spiciness is not enough for me and the chicken a little bit fun i think it's because it's a chicken breast chicken breast yeah which is why i probably like it but the convenience store chicken is made from chicken breast but they're soft softer this one a little bit of top but it's okay uh many people love the chicken breast meat a little bit tough one but it's not tough it's tender for me tender really yeah but i think it's because you like the really really soft chicken thigh ah i think it's bad it's not thumb but not enough soft not enough soft matter most the one point that i have to say is the flavor of chicken umami not so much um okay okay so this is what i think it's because this one doesn't taste japanese at all so there's no like japanese taste it's more like a western fried chicken um sandwich i think so i think if you like the flavor of like chicken sandwiches in the u.s i think you would like this but if you're looking for like some japanese umami like dashi flavor or um like soy sauce flavor you won't find it in this one i think that's why i love this soy sauce chicken has a juicy umami juicy umami okay but this one doesn't have so i prefer shrimp burger oh yeah the shrimp burger is better i like me too me too actually yeah it's interesting you know um simply jean says i prefer chicken breasts if i'm in japan really but usually i like thigh isn't that interesting why is that simply jane that's i really michael salty five guys is worth a try um you know we've actually had five guys burger in hawaii yeah it's actually pretty good yeah we like five guys as well and we do like in-n-out burger in la as well too the only thing i don't like about the in-n-out burger i think is the fries i don't really like the the potatoes from in and out i know some people say you can get it extra crispy but then it becomes too crispy for me well that's just me though okay yes but before we eat the burger we should eat the chicken yes yes i know right because you know the chicken is you know so most chicken is the one with the most popular dish in most bag huh yeah it's actually my favorite fried chicken like i i you know of all the fried chicken they have here in japan like kfc even all the convenience stores the most chicken is my favorite it's my texture of croquette butter is not crispy it's mushy well but yeah but but it's okay it's okay decreasing dimension is boring texture dimensions yeah flavor yeah it's good and sauce i love this sauce ah angela i i totally get it um yes but um once you get the hang of it you'll get the hang of it i'm glad you are good at counting yeah he's very bad at accounting no i'm not i'm bad at calculating i learned hiragana first and then i learned katakana and it wasn't that difficult kanji for me is still difficult it is whenever i study kanji which i no longer do when i used to after about 30 minutes of studying kanji i would feel like throwing up a kanji is very useful and sure it is useful very useful and it's easy to understand the sentence some like kawa you know it looks like a river but then when you know when you have to learn words like keizai which means like you know economy like forget it like [Laughter] yeah tech bun says math is difficult but kanji is also difficult agree i agree i think they're both equally difficult for me for me is already different from the chinese character chinese letter the mainland chinese data is simplified it's different from japanese kanji yeah so already we cannot read chinese character right well i can't read either so it but it doesn't mean much in taiwan yeah they're using the traditional kanji character traditionally their letters so it's unique and see what you think much more thick tasted thick taste the strongest tasty fatty taste okay taste yeah but it's a rich taste but it's not it's not so uncomfortable it's not necessarily
