back to HQ and we got an own field truck here loading up with osr not a lot left in the shed now think it's near full things obviously back from Cals up T and J to turn up for another load of osr uh Joe looks like he's weighing something on the way bridge in Nick's new trailer but the um yesterday we got to drive the robotic tractor so here it is oh yeah someone said that um that we was you showing where the keys were hidden on the um the hor sprayer of course they weren't hidden on there we set that up cuz we thought it'd be a funny video anyway here's us playing with the robotic tractor [Music] it's like the world's biggest remote control [Music] car is it is it is this what you're controlling it withing with can we have a go are you sure yours is working oh that Martin so which is forwards or which is backwards about forwards yeah that's forwards that's right so it's it's just the same as a normal radio control car that's it right the hitch is a bit more complicated press and hold this one and use this one here down is down up is up got it fully qualified so like my radio control car used to go backwards and then you go forwards really quick it wheel take the 900 kilow off the front and you've got exactly what you want about it you you don't go over the bump no you listen to the radio in the car while you're driving that yeah cheers you says on the screen don't it top link joystick H yeah so this is your front linkage so front linkage up and down hydraulic top link is that one the rear hitch how far away does that 100 ft 100 ft so this your hitches so hold that one your rear hitch then you H 100 foot what if it goes under one does it just set off where it going so just you going to drive by the side so that's when it uses the GPS I think so we we press two buttons to go into to engage and then from there you will turn the the remote control off press the pause button that breaks the link and then you can turn the remote control off now we go spray this is the dryer in out now I don't know where you can see but it is proper Precision Fit uh we about to take the wheels off it to get it in we have to put it in with the wheels on and it a little bit lower then they have to jack it up with on the stands take the wheels off sorry take the wheels off and lower it down and then extend put the top piece back on so that just fits now so the other drrive was 18 ton this is 20 so it's just like that much bigger but it means it's obviously another 10% uh a few things have changed about it firstly there's no burner on the front cuz we never used the burner anyway the burner would blast into here cuz we obviously use this big radiator heat exchanger so we've got to modify that now to fit the front of here um big fan the panel would normally sit this side but we have it on the opposite side so whoever welded that obviously thought it was going to be hidden but it wasn't it's not going to snap off but that obviously held this big electrical panel here which has now a bit of a hood on it to stop the dust going in so now got an electric screen the other one was kind of like all switches so we'll have to get used to learning how to work that this is uh it's Auto Lube so this little box here that's taped up so how you get to the auto lube and that will Loop all the points that looks like a sensor for I don't know is it a plug don't know what it is maybe it's a sensor when it's full or empty I don't know these are are sampling shoot so it's a bit different the when you to slide up and when you slide up with one hand You' end up coming out you'd be holding a bucket here and then it'd be slowing out You' be trying to get it back in now you just flip that around takes a sample annoyingly uh we thought that was going to be here so you kind of have to walk past it get dust down your neck and then get it it wouldn't be a big job to move it because it just unbolts and you just have a little hole the other side so maybe we'll do that um yeah the electrician's coming in the morning to wire it in this now is a bit higher obviously so we've actually got a pce of plastic out or the lads have yesterday so that now will discharge into the osr store and it's now on a proper tube it used to just be a bit of Channel section and dust a drop and it' build up and then when it discharge it' try and bubble over the dust and make a bit of a mess where now that's all enclosed so that's good uh trench conveyor now uh is here so we just got to put the spout back on which is down there might need a slight mod to get it to trickle in properly the other one had a guard on the oh there's the Guard the guard still here so we've got to fabricate that make sure that fits the spout from the top for the Hoover which is a bit that was very close to the roof s see through there that needs Plumbing up so there a bit more pipe work to come for that and then the spout on the side that Hoovers the rubbish out the middle is here and then that now is teed in to that so it'll blow it all right over into that far Bay where we shovel it out with the T Handler I'll walk back around and show you oh we've left the ladders they are coming back though um that was me slipping on a piece of plastic like a surf board um that blows it into there then we shovel out with that small bucket that's only just the right size to fit in yeah now this is the problem now oh F I'll show you this while I'm here how better that is at the bottom loads of meat on that or that will take some time to to work bottom stainless steel so the grain comes down really smoothly especially when it's really wet that's the agitator there's the chain that drives it that's what's called a plum chamber where the hot air blows into this sort of like inner tube that's made of mesh and it pushes the moisture the H Hut a then pushes the moisture out the grain that flows down these sides into the bottom into the OR back up drops out the top cools back around complete circle but yeah I'll show you what's what's the problem is so if we go around here again try not to trip over pass the front we took the draw bar off don't need it now it's in position is that fan sticks out a bit there so when this wall goes back in level there there is very very little space to fit through so do we move that which is a bit of a faf because that's obviously on this side there coming out and it's all Plum it's all piped up whatever do we put a door into what's we're building on the front which is going to be this heat tunnel to pull the air in do we then make it so that there's a door there that you then walk through and out the other side but then that'll be hot and dark and it'll make it awkward to cleaning or do we just get another piece of this channel section weld it here and move that over 8 in hope you can hope the wind not blow on the lens move it over 8 in and then you can just squeeze through so instead of that wall being there it'll then be here and then that is only bolted on anyway that angle Lon then move that angle iron over so basically the wall will sit in another place uh we'll obviously then because that's stuck in we'll then have to just shutter a little bit of that concrete panel so that there's not a gap there or do we move it all the way to here and lose a few feet but then we'll end up with this dead space behind the dryer so decisions decisions but that is all in position now it's the same Cross or that we used to have for the other one so it now discharges that a little bit higher so we should get a bit more distance into that shed and then that'll spin around and drop into there um yeah so little bits of finishing off to do it's probably shiny oh and if anyone ask that's who sells it which is who we saw at uh cial yesterday so Shameless plug looks good though doesn't it it will never ever look that clean again cuz it'll get dirty John's holding that piece of wood to show you what kind of Gap there is to get through and it's not it's not enough but if you pull that back to here and twisted all that round you gain a little bit but then it starts to interfere with them pully so when you want to fold the back up which will never do but then it's getting in the way of this and then you've also got that tube as well to get around so I think moving that panel forwards 6 or 8 in just put just lift it the other side of the channel John see what so that makes a massive difference then for getting through you can you can actually walk past them can't you so I think that's going to be easier so we can cement that trench in do like an earth sweep under here like some Wonder could we concrete a piece of metal in there with holes drilled in it on an angle and then you can turn a big compressor on it just blows that floor out or something that'll be handy come up in the basket to look and I think we can get it a little bit more that way which then means we don't have to mess around moving that wall which should be quite handy yeah that's good if we do slide it over a little bit we won't have to move that weld sumon onto the or put that panel on an angle hopefully just show a little shed update uh we've been waiting for some buttons so they've been insulating the walls with some insulation that we were gifted so we just got these two lights up here now and it's it's not making a difference it looks bigger now the lights are on looks good though doesn't it just want to thank a guy Tony Fox he called in a few weeks ago and he used to work on the farm like 60 70 years ago and he said he had some pictures and he's posted did them to us but we don't know where he lives so we don't oh I have to get old of him and thank him so my dad wants to thank him and I want to thank him so that's what I'm doing now but I'm going to show you them because they're interesting we've got the an old crop Master on a Bor there it is again and then there's a bit of a closer one and that my dad said he could remember that red that tractor 94 Etc a Massie Harris Baylor like I say on a crop master and then look at this one LED 971 so that's when he went home one day for his dinner on the tractor and then there they are there I think that Sim stood on a one of the Bale trailers but yeah how good of them um say they must be 60 odd years old them photographs but if anyone knows where 94 Etc as a crop master or LED 971 let us know but aren't they brilliant just shows you how much times have changed I mean that had have been like 40 or 50 horsepower and now we've got a tractor R there that's full 470 horsepower there is no birthday bump today cuz there's only one birthday and that's Anthony McKenna um anyway dry looks amazing just need to get it all finished off and wired up and then we'll probably try and run some grain fruit and test it before Harvest saying that that's probably only a few weeks off now really um next big job is going to be getting all the Grain Stores cleaned out ready for it as well there still some wheat to go and still some osr to go there's been I think seven load of osr gone today and one load of wheat bit more tomorrow and then a bit more again next week anyway that's all for today um hope you enjoyed Cals it's really hard filming it a show to be fair because there's so much to say and then there's loads of people Milling around you get more filming done sort of like after the after hours if you will when the stands have gone quiet or first thing in the morning but I was there to meet a lot of people and obviously that's not very interesting conversation um 12 hours worth of conversation putting into a 12 minute video was difficult but yeah seral is over I'm tired it's far harder toor to pum 12 hours a day than it is driving a combine on a tractor well that's just the way it goes but yeah uh how are you feeling today I'm a bit sunburn so I'm only 80% how are you feeling let me know in the comments I'll see you tomorrow actually one last thing the nfu event tomorrow is on up at Lan in Lancashire just north of Preston um I'll put it as the outro if you want to book in so they know for catering I'll there Jo seals there Charlotte Ashley's there let us know if you're coming
