New Bill Created Because Of GREYHOUND Crash With Illegally Parked Semi Trucks 🤯

everyone is in danger when you are not safely parking these vehicles because there's not enough space my boss is a former semi truck driver he's sponsoring the truck parking safety Improvement act which earmarks 755 million dollars to add rest areas and parking spots creating new parking spots for trucks that are not alongside the highway uh that it expands existing rest areas so that they're not so overcrowded that you've got exactly what we had in this accident what's going on mother truckers it's Alex mine with Mother Trucker news we are on the side of a highway clearly it's unsafe here and we're just showing you there is a truck stop in South Florida about a half a mile away and it's all paid parking and these truck drivers are willing to pay for parking and there is no parking that's nothing wrong with the truck stop is something wrong with the government not having enough truck parking across America you know we know about the Greyhound crash where the three semi trucks have to park illegally and they're looking into it seeing if it's their fault at all go ahead sir I'll take you next time again rest area safety is going to be one of the things we'll be looking at closely here it is my understanding that this is a matter of state law and it may vary from state to state that's something we're still seeking to determine for rest area safety so I just want to show you guys what truck drivers have to deal with now can you imagine you're willing to pay for parking and you still can't find parking and you have to park somewhere unsafely just like this so mother truckers Mike boss a congressman in Illinois has a bill to try to use this situation this devastating situation about the Greyhound crash to help create more truck parking for truck drivers I mean mother truckers this is just wrong you know for the American people this is what truck drivers have to deal with they have to park on the side of the road where it's dangerous they just want to go home to their family but they have to move America and they're trying to take a break and there's always a chance that they are risking their lives [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause]
